Former Red Army Faction member Rolf Clemens Wagner died on February 11, 2014.
Wagner had first become involved in underground armed politics in the aftermath of the RAF’s 1972 May Offensive in West Germany. Dozens of guerillas had been captured, and were being held in strict solitary confinement (in some cases, entire prison wings were emptied to isolate the political prisoners) and subjected to various forms of abuse. In the years following 1972, opposing the torture of solitary confinement would become a priority for a section of the revolutionary left, and when RAF prisoner Holger Meins died in a hunger strike in 1974, freeing prisoners by any means necessary was clearly on the agenda. As Wagner would later explain,
“In the period before 1977, freeing the comrades who were at risk was an absolute priority. They were being held in dead wings, and the first murders had already occurred: Holger Meins, Siegfried Hausner, and Ulrike Meinhof. The situation was extremely urgent. It was clear to us that freeing the prisoners was our most important and pressing objective. On the one hand, they faced a threat to their very existence, and on the other hand, we wanted them out.”
This is the context in which Wagner first went underground, joining a small group that had been established by Klaus Dorff, Waltraud Liewald, and Peter-Jürgen Boock, with plans to break RAF founder Andreas Baader out of prison. (more…)

International Solidarity is our Arme
I can still see myself sitting there with Gudrun and Andreas, in front of us a long report on Vietcong attacks in the US military’s hinterland in South Vietnam.
Guerrilla units had attacked US military headquarters right in enemy territory. One single attack already conveyed the entire strategy. Attacks in the hinterland of imperialism by small armed guerrilla units. In international terms the hinterland was here, in the metropoles.
Years earlier, the chairman of North Vietnam’s communist party, Le Duan, in a
global-strategic speech, had spoken of the vision of armed struggles in the
capitalist centers. Now we were on our way.
What a certainty we had.
And what a smile on our faces.

Long live the new internationalist struggle and the next generation urban guerrilla. Let 1000 flowers bloom. 1000 armed urban guerrilla groups. Each combative memory and dignified life burns as a star in the night sky. Never forget, never forgive… Respect. (more…)

A true life may end too soon,
but a meaningless one may not even really begin
The restless war against this world and its civilization has its own calendar. A calendar of fire, in whose pages, thousands of moments of hostilities between anarchists of Praxis and dominion, come alive. A calendar of memory against oblivion, which tries to cover within its dark veil all these moments, when anarchy armed itself and went on the offensive. A calendar of honor for all our brothers, who fell fighting in the dangerous journey for Dignity, Freedom and Anarchy. But even if they fell, they are not lost. They live among us. They are present in every moment of war against the existent, in every moment when conspiracies and dark plans of attack are woven. They live through acts of vengeance and they will continue to live as long as there are armed consciences ready to put their negations into action.
A calendar, in which our brother, anarchist comrade Mauricio Morales, has his own page written with the ink of memory, which seeks revenge…
“Arm yourselves and become violent, beautifully violent, until everything is blown up… Arm yourselves and fight state terrorism, burn, conspire, sabotage and be violent, beautifully violent, physically violent, deliberately violent…”
On the 22nd of May, 2009, a black day dawns in its darkness. Our brother Mauricio Morales, putting his words into action, headed to the prison wardens’ school in Santiago, Chile, planning to blow it up. But the bomb he was carrying exploded prematurely and he fell dead before he was able to fulfill his plan of attack.
But our comrade was not forgotten. For five years now, dozens of attacks all around the world, were dedicated to him, honoring him in the way he deserves to.
In our world we do not weep for our dead, we do not perform memorials, sticking to miserable customary formalities. We carry our dead in our hearts. We carry them with us, in the fierce moments, where anarchist attack disturbs the order of this world.
Anarchy has neither victims, nor heroes.
Anarchy has a memory of living forms that honored their lives with their deaths and not shadowy zombies, which day by day honor their slow death with their life.
Mauri is on our side. He is the comrade we never met but shared with him the same passion for the destruction of this world. We shared with him the same desire to act aggressively, promoting continuous anarchist insurrection. Any of us could have been in his place and so we feel that he is one of us and we will never forget him…
Nothing is over
We still have much to do…
For us, for our dead…
“Because the eyes of the dead –our dead- are bright meteor, which roam in the infinite to find their way to us…
The eyes of our dead tell us about the “why” of life, showing us the secret flame, which burns our mystery…”

March 10th 2010. Lambros Foundas, member of the Revolutionary Struggle falls dead by the bullets of a cop in Dafni during a preparatory action of the organization. Four years later the proposed political action of Lambros Foundas and the Revolutionary Struggle where he acted, is even more topical, the choice of struggle and the strategy of the action even more imperative. Four years later and the terms of life of millions of people are becoming more and more miserable in the name of saving the economic and political system which is being buried deeper and deeper in the crisis.
Four years ago comrade Lambros Foundas gave his life to a political attempt to not turn decadence into a way of life, to not sacrifice people in order to save the system. He gave his life to a political attempt whose final aim was to throw the corpse of capitalism and with It the state, in the trash of history. He gave his life to open the only path for the complete overcoming of crises, to open the way for social liberation, for Social Revolution. This is the matter which is worth fighting for, even dying for. (more…)

We have no other path worth walking except the one of resistance. The path of Lambros, the path of life.
HONOUR FOREVER TO LAMBROS FOUNDAS
Four years ago, the breath of a great fighter went out, my comrade of the Revolutionary Struggle, Lambros Foundas. He was killed during a shoot out, when members of the organization were attempting to expropriate a vehicle in Dafni.
Lambros politically came of age in the late part of the political transition after the junta and joined the anti-authoritarian movement. He participated in social clashes of the period characterized by that special spirit after the junta through which was arising the militant tradition, the collective memory of a population thirsty for freedom.
He came of age politically at the dawn of the new century, there where the radical movement was gasping to find a connecting link with the past through the ruins of the post junta era in order to imprint its own way of walk in the new era of privatization and consumerism. Then when -like now- we struggle to understand the impressive changes in greek society, changes which compared to the present, were proven painless. Later he was integrated into the Revolutionary Struggle where from its lines gave the last battle of his life. (more…)

I will wander the world alone carrying my hatred and scorn everywhere.
Alone in struggle.
Alone in victory and in defeat.
Darko was the one of the few; intelligent, articulate, original and brave. His thinking had ranged from anarchist-syndicalism to insurrectional nihilist-anarchy. He also liked Class War (the newspaper), because it was close to many ordinary peoples thinking, as he saw it.
The last time we spoke to each other was in December of 2013. Darko had really developed his ideas, and our exchanges were on a new level. He spoke very eloquently about his interest in chaos, the art and writing of Austin Osman Spare and the anti-civilisation critique, but he seemed to be a little bit lost, and struggling against the pull of a much greater self-destruction. I tried to warn him but to no avail, and to my regret. We were due to meet again soon, but now I will conserve my words for the limitless sky.
I remember one time we were sitting around the first year I met him, 2011, trying to figure out who each other was, and he related to me that reading Max Stirner whilst taking Psilocybin at an early age of 14 had propelled him towards what he was. I didn’t doubt it. He was a reckless genius.
Darko was in his early twenties. He died too soon, like many of the best.
Into the void, my friend, we’ll meet again in the stars.
Souls who are grieving for this world, this is why I call you to gather together.
The flag is already waving.
It is black; it stands for mourning. Forward then, wild Promethei. The cry of vengeance is music sweet and dear.
Today it is necessary to kill, to destroy … tomorrow we will be daisies …
Forward, Federation of Sorrow!
The last time I saw Darko Mathers, we spent a wonderful three days together, sharing writing, thoughts, conspiracies and finally putting together the pamphlet critiquing Civil Anarchism which was a term that he had coined. As usual, I found myself astounded by the coherence, breadth and eloquence of Darko’s political analysis. He was a wild, thoughtful, enquiring, compassionate, and brilliant man, slightly lost amongst a generation in whom he could find few equals. I am proud to have known him and I will miss his company, his sensitivity and affection. I hope he knew how greatly I admired him.
Nothing delicate can survive here.
Only the brutal.
Seagulls brash as boys.
The rest sit thin-skinned as frogs,
trying to throw themselves like the sun into the formidable sea.
So, farewell for now, my friend, until the next round of magic and mayhem against civilisation.

Ilya Romanov, a 46-years old Russian anarchist, was wounded on 26th of October 2013. According to authorities, this happened when a homemade bomb suddenly went off in his hands. His left hand was torn off. The man was placed in hospital.

We regret having to rectify a serious mistake we made when posting up our translation of the interview of imprisoned Culmine blog by anarchist publication Aversión.
Elisa Di Bernardo, one of the two comrades interviewed, has NOT been released from Rebibbia prison as we had believed. In fact Elisa is the only female comrade arrested following ‘Operation Ardire’ who is still in pre-trial detention since June 2012.
We send our apologies, greetings, rage, solidarity and respect to Elisa

Four years. Difficult to know if it’s four years already or just four years. Four years and a long mourning which has only just begun several years after her death, after those who justice found necessary to punish directly for the accident which cost Zoé her life finished the prison sentences which they had been assigned, after those who remained outside prison were no longer listened in on, tailed, photographed, filmed, intimidated. But anyway, that’s another story. After those who believe that seeing a friend die is not enough have satisfied themselves with our pain, have been sated enough by our sadness to leave again with a full belly and head held high, proud to have restored order and justice. This order and this justice which are after our friendships and our loves, and that seek to destroy them, because our friendships and loves are, among other things, born of our desires and our potential to create a space in which to grow and develop. Without passion, theory is but a dead letter. And cynicism is nothing revolutionary. (more…)

Your children are not your children.
They are the sons and daughters of Life’s longing for itself.
They come through you but not from you,
And though they are with you yet they belong not to you.
You give them your love but not your thoughts,
For they have their own thoughts.
You may house their bodies but not their souls,
For their souls dwell in the house of tomorrow,
which you cannot visit, not even in your dreams.
You may strive to be like them, but seek not to make them like you.
For life goes not backward nor tarries with yesterday.
You are the bows from which your children as living arrows are sent forth.
Dedicated to the memory of a true rebel and a dear friend.

Neither mourning nor celebrating: time for social struggles to become autonomous!
When an illness becomes serious, when medical attention becomes a vehicle for myopic, politically motivated decisions and when a patient becomes drunk with power, it can only end this way. The strongman has died, and in so doing, he has initiated a substantial shift in the Venezuelan political landscape.
What used to be the regime’s greatest strength has suddenly turned into its defining weakness: it was all Chávez, and, without him, the only solution is to fabricate an absolute commitment to his memory and his plans for succession. The government’s true fragility can now be seen, a government which tried to demonstrate its “popular, socialist” character via a grotesque personality cult, a practice that has now been reduced to the empty invocation of spirits. The deceased himself is to blame for this outcome as the secrecy around his illness was propelled by the same motivations as the extreme centralisation of power around him, while the lack of ideological coherence amongst his followers has left them scrapping for crumbs. The high-level “rojo-rojito” [chavista red] bureaucrats and the upper echelons of the military are best placed to benefit, as they negotiate impunity for their various misdemeanours and corruptions. (This statement was read out two days ago while a meeting was held, this is a final statement from ex-members/comrades of Negasi and affinities, after a long and tired debate among the solidarians in last two months about the case of Ryo.)
For all who always rise their hand and never bow their head in front of injustice, society and all the enemies. Respect for those who showed their direct solidarity as a language of resistance.
First, we want to confirm our position in the middle of this gathering and among people who self-proclaimed as also involved in bringing ‘justice’ to Ryo’s family. Our confirmation is based on our values, as a friends, as comrades who lost a brother and comrade. We are beyond the normality and outside of values of morality. We speak as individuals and not a group or collective or any terms of organization.
Some of us were ‘blessed’ to have a brother and friend: Ryo. A brave one and a comrade for us. That’s why we never want to deny his contribution in our history as individuals and as a group. By claiming his participation, we show our respect. To remember his dignity and hard work to keep learning and always questioning all normality and social peace. We want to show how his life was a journey to find out that all the social peace and normal life is just a big lie! (more…)

Riyano Tanjung Pahlevi, an anarchist from Borneo, died this year of industrial cancer. Riyano and Eat co-founded Katalis journal in 2008. Love, respect and solidarity. The translation is by waronsociety via ultraegoist.
Obituary For Riyano
Ino, my friend, in a time when the air was still giving you life,
we both believed that one day we would see
with our own eyes a new world.
A world in which people are no longer wolves to each other,
a world in which we are all lovers and family.
But tonight a star of darkness has snatched you out of this dark world.
Ino, the new world that we “dreamed” of is still too far away.
And yet, the good days
we once spent together
will not be forgotten. Days and nights
when dreams and passions hotter than a supernova burst
into laughter, fire, and anger. And the days when the “new world”
was still too far away for the “awaiting.”
I didn’t mind. Not at all.
Because I know this: you have to live your life
as fully as you desire. We lived best
and were the happiest people in those days.
Farewell my friend, You have sailed someplace
where power no longer applies. And you will never die
for me. Because everything tossed into the decaying earth is a living organism
continuing the cycle of life. You are the air that I breathe.
And Ino, I am sure you are loving to read these last words.
One more reason to welcome the fire of Prometheus!
Au revoir, mon ami!

Update: The wife of Ryo is now home from the hospital. She sends hugs and love to all
comrades for the solidarity fund and solidarity letters. Honour to Ryo and his family.
Here follows a letter from the ex-members of Negasi, about the murder of our comrade Ryo. They are making public a situation that has hit them. War against the existent.
To all comrades,
On 25th November 2012, we lost our comrade named Ryo. He was killed by a coward in the morning when trying to go back to his place after looking for breakfast. Ryo is a member of the first generation of NEGASI and was active in counter-info projects, translation and publication to support the anti-authoritarian movement in Manado.
Ryo also involved in local autonomous struggles in North Sulawesi. He took a position as a campaigner and published infos related to the struggles. Stubborn but humble and always being the first one who would care about his comrades problems. Ryo left a wife and a four years old son.
Right now, we need solidarity from comrades abroad for his wife and son. For us, wife and child of our comrade is also our comrades. And as a form of direct solidarity, we stand next to her. Right now, his wife faces serious health condition and has been some days in hospital. The social pressures, mostly from the local press related to the case are one reason why our comrade passes the nights in the hospital.
On the other side, the trial against the killer is still running in the court. But, as we are anti-judicial, we are and will not respect and depend on the court to bring justice to our comrade. Our comrades life can’t be substituted by sending someone into jail because we against all the forms of prison. We always believe that justice can’t be given by the state where we are an enemy of it. We believe that the only justice is direct solidarity and collapse of the enemies.
For solidarity letters and solidarity fund or further infos, you can send email to: negasi [at] riseup [dot] net
Direct solidarity !!!
Against justice belonging to the State !!!
No prison !!! Only burn it !!!

From Suie & Cendres:
BRUSSELS – Sunday night a top executive of the petro-chemical company ExxonMobil was shot dead in the street in Neder-over-Heembeek, near Brussels. Nicholas Mockford was shot in the head twice, when he and his wife were leaving an Italian restaurant around 22h. Witnesses saw two men running away carrying a motorcycle helmet.
The man died on the way to the hospital. His wife Mary was beaten and covered in blood. Police and DA’s office are saying that at this point they aren’t excluding any possibilities, from a hit to a carjacking gone wrong. Although the violence used appears to be disproportionate for a carjacking, especially knowing that the killers left the Lexus ATV behind.
Investigators are doing everything they can to locate the perpetrators. They are going through his work at his firm in the hope of finding a clue. ExxonMobil is the company that owns Esso, Mobil and Exxon gas stations.

A poem by the inmates from the 2nd wing of Larissa men’s prisons dedicated to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas, the little son of two members of Revolutionary Struggle (Greece)
Wednesday, July 25th, 2012
Born behind prison bars, the visible ones, that hide the heavens
The human guards, the cops and crows, the patrons of quiet sleep were the midwife of yours
You celebrated your first birthday with the shadows cast by steel barriers…
Bourgeois democracy is so merciful…
Now it’s your second birthday, the starlight you’d never seen until now
With the horizon ahead of you extending to infinity
With dogs barking from afar
We wish you ardent years, seas resounding in your ears, thunders singing lullabies to you
The tide coming in and erasing your footsteps, on the sand…
With respect and love to those who did not regret what they ever dared to do
Honour and remembrance forever for Lambros Foundas
This goes out to Nikos, Pola and very young Lambros-Viktoras
The prison inmates of the 2nd wing of Larissa
Happy Birthday and life’s freedom to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas from 325. Strength, warmth and respect to Nikos and Pola. Honour to the memory of Lambros Foundas, member of Revolutionary Struggle. Solidarity to those accused and on trial for the same case.
REVOLUTION FIRST AND ALWAYS

325 has received news of an injured companero, Mario Antonio Lopez Fernández, 27, who has been hurt whilst reportedly carrying an incendiary device in southern Mexico City, during the night of 26-27 June. We will print more news as we get it, but for now, these details are being reported in the mainstream press:
Last night, Tuesday 26 June at 11:37 pm, an explosion occured at an automatic payment office of the Federal Electricity Commission in Tlalpan. No one was injured or arrested. Roughly an hour later, at 00:40 am, Wednesday, at the corner of Londres and Vicente Guerrero, Coyoacán, Mario was reportedly injured after a loud explosion in the street happened. The scene was attended by paramedics that took him to hospital, under the guard of police who regard him as being responsible for both explosions. It is reported that Mario has injuries to his right leg, right arm and body. Another explosive device was found in a backpack at the scene of the blast. This was taken and deactivated by the police as evidence in their investigation which begins.
Strength to Mario and his close ones
Will and determination for all in the struggle

From Sketchy Thoughts:
The first time Christa Eckes made the news was back in 1970, when as a teenager growing up in the West German city of Hamburg she was expelled from high school for starting a political action group. The “Basisgruppe LS-Schülerinnen” (LS Students Grassroots Group) was said to have distributed leaflets, organized resistance to the school board, the school administration and the parents’ advisory board, organized a questionnaire about sexual problems without informing the school administration and also to have disrupted a Christmas party.
Her mother hired Kurt Groenewold, a renowned left-wing lawyer, to oblige the school to readmit her daughter – an effort which proved successful. The decision to hire Groenewold was perhaps a fateful one; within a few years he would be known throughout West Germany as one of the attorneys for prisoners from the Red Army Faction, an anti-imperialist guerilla organization. By this time Eckes would be working as his legal assistant, and as such would be part of the defense team for Margrit Schiller, a prisoner from the RAF held in Hamburg. (more…)
