The early hours of October 24th, we hit “Bristol” bar in Davaki Street, Ampelokipous with an incendiary device. This specific shop belongs to a well known member of Golden Dawn who was also a candidate in the local elections, Christos Zervas, and it is one of the Golden Dawn’s deputies and other fascists’ hangout.
This action is devoted to the memory of Pavlos Fyssas, of Shehzad Luqman and the other innumerable immigrants who were victims of state violence, expressed in the sea and land borders.
We carry on the antifascist struggle in the streets and in the squares and we wait nothing from the state “antifascism” and its fellow travelers, they are our enemies instead.
We don’t forget the struggle’s imprisoned and prosecuted ones.
Preventative arrests, persecutions and torture will not go unanswered.

Early Tuesday morning (7 Oct. 2014), a German federal police car was set on fire at the Badischer Bahnhof (train station) in Basel. The car was completely destroyed. This action was in solidarity with the struggling refugees in Berlin and everywhere!
There, as here in Switzerland, people are degraded to problems for which a solution should be found. The solutions of politicians and authorities, as well as the cops as their henchmen, always mean confinement to detention centers, repression and often deportation to peoples’ countries of origin, or third countries.
The struggle of migrants, which they have determined for themselves against the systematic oppression they face, encourages us and at the same time, shows us the need for us to contribute to the sabotage of this repression machinery.
This action is also our response to the upcoming European police operation ‘Mos Maiorum’ (13th-26th Oct. 2014), which will attempt to have 18,000 police, in cooperation with Frontex, control and arrest as many people without residence permits as possible.
Active solidarity with all struggling migrants in Berlin and everywhere!

Anarchists cross the border from Turkey in solidarity with fighters in Kurdistan against ISIS (Syria)
Saturday, September 27th, 2014
In Shingal, Kobane and all Rojava, ISIS is Dehak and the people are Kawa
by Devrimci Anarşist Faaliyet – DAF – Revolutionary Anarchist Action
In Kurdistan, people are fighting against ISIS, “the procreated violence” given birth to by capitalism and the States that start wars for their own benefits. ISIS, the subcontractor of the States that pursue income strategies on the region, is attacking people while yelling “Islamic State!” and “holy war, jihad!”. People are suffering from hunger and thirst, getting ill, getting injured; migrating and dying. They are still fighting in that struggle for existence. People are fighting not for the schemes and strategies around meeting tables, not for income, but for their freedom.
As freedom is to exist in danger of being non-existent. As freedom is to live. Like the fight of Kawa, defending the life by resisting against Dehaks.
And now the USA, the EU, Turkey, all the states that have expectations of income from the region, are establishing coalitions against ISIS, the “procreated violence” which in reality isn’t a disturbance to them at all. (more…)

On the 2nd of September, at 12pm around 50 people gathered outside the Cardiff Home Office Buildings for the noise demo planned as part of the Stop NATO Cymru week of action. In the past, there have been monthly noise demos by No Borders South Wales group, with many different points of focus, ID cards, destitution, dawn-raids and anti-deportation. The focus of this particular demo was how border controls relate to militarism and the NATO war machine. This was called because NATO are part of the samesystem that divides and isolates through borders. Borders are a mechanism for the divide and rule of working class people. Borders kill innocent people around the world as does militarism. (more…)

From ABC Hurricane:
A brief spark of revolt was seen from those incarcerated in Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre near Lincoln after a Bengali man, who had been in the prison only three days, died on September 5.
Disorder broke out at breakfast on September 6 and staff were forced to flee, withdrawing to a “place of safety”.
A ‘Tornado’ team, or ‘national tactical response group’, was called into the prison to quell the riot, which lasted all day.
Solidarity with prisoners in struggle everywhere!
NB: There have been many riots in UK immigration centres over the last 18 months, and the mainstream media are keeping the incidents from being widely known, whilst spreading intolerable racism against migrants and stirring up hateful nationalism. Business as usual…

On the 6/7/14 at 8.30am the guard Peter Petrov performed the morning roll call, he entered cell 11 and started shouting in Bulgarian, a language no one present understood. As the roll call finished for that cell he then started to assault a mentally ill man from behind as he was not moving fast enough. The mentally ill man is about 45kgs, about 55 years old and a citizen of Comoros. He then retaliated and slapped the guard back after the guard Peter Petrov hit him and kicked him again, the guard came at the Comoros Islander again and the African took a chair to keep the guard away from him.
Three other guards came and only saw the Comoros islander with the chair and so they beat him too. Peter Petrov then ran out of the cell, locked all the cell doors and called for “assistance”. Forty guards came from two work shifts, from the Saturday evening shift and the incoming Sunday day shift, as now shifts are 12 hours. The forty guards summarily beat everyone in the cell – the man from Comoros, 4 Afghanis, 1 Pakistani, 1 Dutch man and an Algerian. They were not resisting in any way and most of the wounds inflicted by the guards are on their backs as they tried to cover their faces on the ground. All of these victims are incarcerated for illegal border crossing- they are all asylum seekers. (more…)

(more…)

On Friday 2 May over 150 detainees in Harmondsworth migration prison occupied the main courtyard in a sit down protest and began a mass hunger strike. On Monday 5 May supporters held solidarity noise demos outside Harmondsworth detention centre and simultaneously at Dungavel detention centre in Scotland. Yesterday evening, Tuesday 6 May, protests started to spread to Colnbrook and Brook House migration prisons.
At lunchtime on Friday 2 May over 150 people detained in Harmondsworth, the UK’s largest migration prison run by corporation GEO group for the Home Office, staged a sit-down occupation of the main courtyard and began hunger strike. They issued a set of demands (see below) protesting against the ‘Fast Track’ system, under which refugees seeking asylum are immediately imprisoned before their claims are even heard, as well as further mistreatment in detention. UPDATE: Ira has been released!
LGBTQ ACTIVIST IRINA PUTILOSS FACES DEPORTATION TO RUSSIA DESPITE FLEEING BRUTAL PERSECUTION SIX MONTHS AGO.
Irina is an LGBTQ activist seeking asylum in the UK. On 6/12/13 she was unexpectedly detained by UKBA officials and taken to Yarl’s Wood Immigration Removal Centre. Yarl’s Wood has been the subject of recent controversy as cases of sexual abuse by private security guards against female detainees came to light (1). Despite the complexities of her case, she has been ‘fast tracked’ for a decision and faces potential deportation in a matter of days.
The so-called ‘Fast Track’ system allows asylum claims to be processed within 2 weeks, but has come under extensive criticism from migrant rights groups who claim it is heavily biased against the claimant. Less than 1% of fast track claims are successful. (more…)

On 10th August under cover of darkness we targeted the construction contractors Van Omme & De Groot for their involvement in the building of Rotterdam detention centre. The slogan ‘Fuck Deportation!’ was sprayed upon the shutters covering the windows and paint bombs filled with generous amounts of bright paint were thrown, ruining the ever so posh wooden door of the arrogant planners of incarceration. This action was an autonomous action taken upon by ourselves separate from the planned No Borders camp during the same week.
It is one thing to shout “no borders, no nations, stop deportation” but an entirely more effective act to physically attack those who make such a hell for migrants exist. We are also aware that our action alone will not bring an end to the detention/deportation profiteers, but it is a retaliation against those involved in such torturous places that think they can operate with impunity. Our action is in solidarity with all those dwelling in detention centres in fortress Europe, be it Rotterdam, Calais, UK, Italy or Greece. You are never forgotten. To those who make such places of violence possible, you are not forgotten either, we know of you and what you do.
GEEN MENS IS ILLEGAAL (NO HUMAN IS ILLEGAL)
Destructors of Borders

Another sad story, one that passes from time to time on the liberal media; a migrant is killed during deportation. Did this one starve themselves, sew their lips together, swallow razor blades in some private detention centre hell? No, Jimmy Mubenga was killed by three G4S security guards on a plane full of people during an episode of ‘legal restraint techniques’ that they inflicted upon him until he died. The Criminal Prosecution Service (CPS) decided not to prosecute the murder.
“Please, please, they are killing me.” cried Mubenga repeatedly to the passengers on the plane. Jimmy had a wife and a family that the UK Border Agency had snatched him from earlier. They would never see him again. And on the plane, the people saw him murdered by those “just doing their job”, and didn’t do anything about it. Now it’s more grief, as if death weren’t enough: the “inquest” of “British justice” rubber-stamps the approved killing and serves more white justice to black faces. (more…)

Britain, like any other country of the western world, is a huge prison for thousands and thousands of people who come here in search of a better life, the so-called ‘asylum seekers’. It’s not by chance that so many desperate people try to enter the U.K. as well as the other rich countries. They can’t do otherwise. In their homeland not even the basic conditions of surviving are left.
The globalisation of capital requires the maximum production at the lowest cost. That’s how the bosses move the centres of production from one country to the other searching for the cheapest labour cost. And that’s also the way they spread poverty and desolation and rob millions and millions of their resources. When the occasion occurs, the bosses and their armed mercenaries invade other countries to steal their oil or in order to keep some geopolitical context in equilibrium. (more…)

CALL FOR SOLIDARITY WITH HUNGER AND THIRST STRIKERS IN DETENTION CENTERS IN THE NETHERLANDS
About 60 asylum seekers in detention center in Rotterdam, the Netherlands, have been in hunger strike for four days now. 18 of them also stopped drinking since Wednesday 6th of May. They are protesting against the asylum policy that criminalizes refugees: they get thrown out on the streets without money or shelter and they get detained in prisons for up to 18 months. The refugees on hunger strike demand not to be treated as criminals anymore. They clearly stated they want freedom and protection. (more…)

Solidarity with friends of Saleh family arrestees.
SUPPORT THE TWO FRIENDS OF THE SALEH FAMILY WRONGLY ARRESTED DURING THE DAWN RAID ON THE FAMILY HOME.
18/02/2013 @ Cardiff Magistrates Court
Friends arrested during dawn raid of family home:
Last October at around 6.30am Mrs Saleh and her two children were woken up by half a dozen UKBA officials and told to prepare themselves for deportation. Mrs Saleh’s daughter and other friends of the family quickly came to the house and video footage of some of these events can be found here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=N1NXwTOnzp8
Two friends of the family were arrested outside the families home, without being told what they were being arrested for. Later at the station, charges were made up citing obstruction of UKBA officers during their official duty.
The two friends have known the family personally for some time and were well aware of the fear the family faced at the threat of being sent back to Egypt. More on the background of Mrs Saleh’s claim can be found here: http://ncadc.org.uk/blog/2012/10/instead-of-protection-the-saleh-familys-ordeal-continued-in-the-uk
Their court case is on Monday 18th February 9:30am in Cardiff Magistrates court. This is a call out for solidarity with this case and the wider struggle for freedom of movement.

February 2nd: UKBA raid West African Restaurant, Old Kent Road, near Elephant and Castle.
On Saturday night, approximately 6-7 UKBA officers and around 4 police officers rushed into a West African restaurant at 8.55pm. The raiding party arrived in one white van and one silver van, licence plate BP55DCU. But this time the operation wasn’t going to take place in silence.
About 20 people from the Anti Raids network entered the restaurant hot on their heels and informed everyone present of their rights in the face of immigration checks: you do not have to answer any questions, and you are free to leave at any time. Many people immediately got up and left – presumably not wanting to spend their night out being interrogated by UKBA thugs. (more…)

On February 1st, 2013 at around 20.30pm immigrant street vendors in the neighbourhood of Thissio were chased off by the Athens municipal police who trapped one of the immigrants in a corner just above the rails of the Thissio metro station. When the cops attempted to steal the worker’s merchandise by shoving him, Babakar Ndiaye (38 years old from Senegal) fell onto the subway tracks from a height of 7 meters, where he died instantly. Last night a group of people went to make noise at the new location of the Schiphol deportation prison (Amsterdam). It is an international tradition on New Year’s Eve to go to the prisons to break the silence and isolation.
In the new Schiphol prison ‘De Poort’ over 1,000 people will be locked up. Even more cells for a murderous system. Last night, recorded messages from the RefugeeChurch —a squatted church inhabited by illegal (undocumented) people in Amsterdam— were broadcasted for the people inside.
In the Netherlands there are thousands of people locked up because they don’t have (the right) papers, in even worse conditions than the normal prisons. People are being kept for months and then either deported or kicked out on to the street for being ‘practically not deportable,’ and a couple of months later the circus starts again. The ones deciding on these ‘measurements’ are the few inventing laws everybody should bend for; they’re the ones making money from repression.
The whole prison system is based on their need for regulating and controlling ‘society’. People are being locked up just because they don’t fit into that society, don’t contribute enough in economical terms, or just to scare people. For the State it’s about protecting the rich and the order, to maintain exploitation and suppression.
That’s why we will keep coming back to make our solidarity with the prisoners heard.
Until everybody is free, until borders and prison walls don’t exist any longer.
For a rebellious New Year!

We are presenting this information from Harmondsworth Immigration Removal Centre, regarding the death of Prince Ofosu, a detainee aged 31 years.
What we do know about the death of Prince Ofosu, the Ghanaian detainee who died on Tuesday 30th October, 2012 is as follows:
1. Prince Ofosu was forcibly restrained by GEO officers employed by the UKBA.
2. We understand that Prince Ofosu sustained some injuries. The GEO officer, Jim by name who inflicted massive blows on prince Ofosu had some blood stains on his uniform, but he was asked to remove the blood stained clothes so that no one would notice what happened. His clothes were changed for him. That happened in a room known as “block” [rule 40]. (more…)

Update : Contrary to what the article states, and popular presumption, the family were in fact deported on the 8am flight. The son was beaten up twice on the flight to try to subdue his defiance. The daughter, Shroukie, is left in the UK separated from her family. Solidarity with the Saleh family and all migrants who fight for their dignity and freedom. No Borders – No Nations – Stop Deportations!
The Saleh family, Mr S and her two children, arrived in the UK in November 2007 after suffering 15 years of violence in Egypt. The whole family is now under serious threat of honour-based violence and possibly even death. They had a court hearing on 13th November to receive a fair hearing of their case, but this was completely ignored by UKBA.
The first attempt to deport the family was on the morning Thursday 18th October, which resulted in the family’s home being raided by UKBA officers in Cardiff and two activists being arrested for ‘obstructing UKBA officers’, one of which additionally charged with ‘obstruct pc’. While a call-out was made for supporters to attend Cardiff Bay police station, where the family were taken in order to be transfered to a coach for a flight later that day in London, others made their way to the motorway sliproad. What followed was an attempt to run down activists blockading the road. (more…)
