Vote or don’t vote or spoil your ballot paper, it will make no difference. Politicians will sell you and take you for their personal power. Elections are just a choice between spokesmen of the rich. We don’t have to settle for it. We’ve got to get rid of the rich!
Class War candidate for Michael Fabricant’s safe Tory Lichfield seat, Andy Bennetts, said: “We’re having more of a pantomime than an election, where career minded politicos try to make a good impression with their party in the hope of being selected to fight a seat they have a chance of winning in the future.
“No one is contesting this election to win. Not even us. This election is a lot of bollocks. Don’t vote – it is a waste of time.”
Class War took to the streets on May Day, sweeping through the citadel of class exploitation: the City of London. The police could not contain the Fuck Parade mob. Hundreds of class warriors closed down Commercial Street, Tower Bridge, London Bridge and marched to the squats of Soho, where the battle rages against gentrification.
The City was brought to a standstill. It didn’t need party bureaucracies and vanguards. It was just the will of the raging mass.
The streets are our ballot box. The mob are our votes. Our class is our party.
Get out. There will be no Government on Friday. It’s ours. Let’s take it.
Class War is supporting a post-election action by London Black Revs. In a statement, LBR says: “The polls suggest a hung parliament; where no party wins a majority of seats. If so there will be a scramble for power, with the Tories and Labour trying to cobble together enough MPs from different parties to form a government. If they call a legitimate government, they will force through the worst cuts since the Second World War.
“We think the Tories and Labour sing from the same song sheet; with the difference between austerity and austerity-lite being nowhere near enough. When no-one represents us, we must take to the streets.”

Text by Nikos Maziotis, member of Revolutionary Struggle for the event organized by the International Red Help for the 1st of May (Greece, Switzerland)
Friday, May 1st, 2015
The events of May 1886 that took place in Chicago are a turning point in the history of the revolutionary labor movement.
It was not only the fight of the workers to reduce working hours to eight hours daily that featured in this fight and led to the global fight of the proletariat for an 8 hour work day, but it was also a response of the workers to a crackdown by the bosses, and the murder of workers at the McCormick factory. This response was “Workers in arms” which called for a reaction of the working class to the killings of the bosses. It was the armed reaction of the workers when police ordered the dissolution of the Hay Market Square protest that was called against the killings of the strikers at the McCormick factory. The armed tradition of the working class and revolutionary movement was at that time closely related to unionism and the struggle for an 8 hour work day, better working conditions, wage increases, social security. And all this was seen to some extent, as a stage on the way to the abolition of the capitalist system.
Such struggles, which were inspired by the events of May 1886 in Chicago erupted in many countries over the next few years in France, in Italy, Spain, Russia, Mexico, Argentina and they were characterized by the use of armed violence on the part of workers.
Unfortunately a large part of the labor movement adopted an approach that considered armed practices as “provocation” and practices of “individual terrorism” that harm the labor movement and were therefore condemnable. There is the view, for example, that the events of the Hay Market Square with the throwing of a bomb and the armed scuffle against the police that followed were an intentional provocation to justify the murder of several of the assembled workers, but also the conviction and execution by hanging of the organizers of the Hay Market Square protest. (more…)

YES MAYDAY | NOEXPO
INTERNATIONAL WORKERS’ DAY IN MILAN
After seven years of crisis the precarious pride has become rage and indignation against the burgeoning unemployment and the growth of poverty imposed by BCE & IMF to most of the population with austerity policies, particularly in Italy, Greece and the rest of the Latin Europe. Social slaughter, plunder of wealth and common goods, the end of the public city are the bases upon which governments build their response to the economic crisis.
The whole urban environment is the heart of many overwhelming social tensions. It is dominated by profit-based logics, soil consumption, the speculative spiral and the showcase city formula, in which the territorial branding is everything and inhabitants needs count as nothing, which leads to environmental exploitation, militarization of life, as we see in Val Susa, attack against our city back streets.
Italy deeply suffers precariousness, exploitation, repression. Corresponds to our need of places for political activism and criticism their evacuation and closure. (more…)

Hi, we have another update about the eviction resistance in Dublin!
Yesterday (Friday) we had court again, this time the judge had made a decision. He said the Injunction was successful, but he would delay it until May 4th. This means they will not try to evict us until then, but after that they will try to evict us.
We are hoping that the time we’ve been given will allow people to travel to help us, and for us to raise support and prepare ourselves. We’re expecting quite a heavy eviction so we’re preparing ourselves for that, and the more help we get the better chance we have of winning! We have a lot of local support but it would be great if people with experience of evictions, squatting etc could come to help in any way
We were thinking maybe some people would like to come for May Day here in Dublin, and then stay for a little while and help out with the eviction?
We managed to fight them back when they came without warning, when we weren’t prepared, so we can fight them back again now that we know when it’ll happen, we can be ready for them! We just need help!
Thank you to everyone who has sent us messages of support so far, and we hope to see you soon!
We can win this!

Like Thorns Rising at Dawn
A new autonomous media collective rises: L’Aube épine
This is a presentation of the collective and its zine, but equally a call to join us!
Capitalism has always been after new territories to loot or develop. For quenching its insatiable thirst for resources, the industry is ready to use all the means. Because it is essential for it to be always more producing, to augment its energetic capacity, to develop the fluxes of merchandise, to exploit even more the lands, the seas and the beings… Its imperialism is condemning us to a mediocre and uniform world, as much at the scale of human societies than of the natural milieus. The political rulers, accomplices or actors of this destruction , are threatening those who oppose it, jailing and assassinating. From their palaces, they are cautioning if not organizing the genocide of many peoples whose existence is intimately tied to their environmental milieu. (more…)

Another update: Court was adjourned until 3pm 27 March, and may be delayed again after that. If anybody can get out and help/support us, we now have at least a little time.
Update: New email address – squatcitydublin(at)riseup.net
SquatCity (GrangeGorman), Dublin, currently resisting eviction. We are putting out an international callout for support, to help us resist the eviction of our homes, and to defend squatting in Dublin. We have been subject to a large scale eviction attempt over the last couple of days, and we are currently resisting, and appealing for help and support. Many of you would have stayed there during the International Squatters Convergence, and saw the space for yourselves.
Here is a brief timeline of what happened, as well as a short description of the space.
On Monday 23rd March, the squatted buildings at Grangegorman, where a community has been living for a year-and-a-half, was the subject of a violent attempted eviction by a large force of contractors and cops. Here is a summary of the situation.
The space consists of three houses, three converted office buildings, five warehouses, a main courtyard and two smaller yards, all home to around 30 people.
We are reclaiming unused space and building a community around it so it can be used autonomously for projects that would not be possible within the constraints of a rented space. (more…)

‘ISIS attacked with Turkish state assistance; we have the footage’
Serêkanîyê YPJ commander Çiçek Xemgin said ISIS had attacked Til Temir and Serêkaniyê (Ras ‘al Ayn) in order to distract attention from its defeats in Kobanê, Til Hemis and Til Berak, but that this would not prevent the obliteration of the organisation.

A message for ecologists and anarchists about the current situation:
To be vegan will not liberate animals, nature and humans. Spaces for socialization will not destroy the system. But organized and armed struggle against capitalism has changed and will change a lot. The problems are social, this is not a question about the individual liberation. Freedom will not occur until all of us are free. Only the armed struggle can stop the murderers of nature.
Those who theorize the cowardice of reconciliation are at the service of capitalism. Those who are undisciplined, devoid of revolutionary ethics, who refuse the armed struggle are the agents of fascism in our eyes.
The only way to defeat fascism is the armed struggle. Capitalism can only be destroyed through armed struggle and the armed struggle can only be fought and won by an organization which possesses theoretical unity and strong will.
Our prisoners cannot be liberated by graffiti, rallies or actions without severity, but only by organizing operations of liberation into the jails – and that is only possible via armed struggle.
Our call is to organize for armed struggle.
Get organized! Get armed! Revolt!

Domokos: Text by Nikos Maziotis about the elections on January 25th and the coalition of SYRIZA and ANEL (Greece)
Sunday, March 8th, 2015
Translated by Act for freedom now!
The January 25 elections was one more “triumph” of civil democracy. It was further proof of the discrediting of a rotten political system, where more than 1/3 of the electoral body turned its back on the “fiesta” of democracy and did not go to vote. Out of the approximately 9.800.000 voters registered in the electoral records participation was at 63,5%, meaning that the valid votes were about 6.180.000, while the other 3.620.000, which accounts for 36,5%, did not go to vote. Out of those who voted, SYRIZA got 36%, i.e. around 2.200.000 voters, meaning that out of all the registered voters, SYRIZA’s government was based on less than 1/4 of the electoral body.
A triumph therefore of “popular dominance” and democratic centralization! In the end it’s not the majority through representatives that “governs” as is supposed, but the minority. It has been proved yet again that the political system of civil parliamentarianism is disparaged by millions of citizens. It was proved that precisely because of this disparaging of the political system as a result of the economic crisis, all the governments of recent years are minority governments and that self-reliance is now impossible. In reality, one could say that the main power are those abstaining from electoral illusions and staged circuses of professional liars and fraudsters, right or left. (more…)
War against ISIS/Daesh: British YPG fighter Erik Konstandino Scurfield Kemal lost his life in clashes during the Til Berak operation (Kurdistan)
Friday, March 6th, 2015
YPG Press Office said in a written statement Wednesday that British YPG fighter Erik Konstandino Scurfield (Kemal) lost his life in clashes during the Til Berak operation:
Konstandinos Erik Scurfield AKA Heval Kemal Konstandinos was killed in combat on Tuesday the 3rd of March. Kosta was born in England but subsequently moved from Britain when he was young. He was an ex-Royal Marine Commando, an exceptional soldier and a great ambassador to the Kurdish people for his two nations.
On the 5th of December 2014 he could take no more. He made the treacherous journey to fight alongside the Kurdish people and then rid Rojava of ISIS. He was a frontline fighter always in thick of it, his experience and leadership were greatly appreciated assets. (more…)

War against ISIS/Daesh: Kobanê’s internationalist women fighters: 2015 must be the year of women (Kurdistan)
Thursday, March 5th, 2015
KOBANÊ – Marxist women fighters from Turkey have called for all women to make 2015 the year of women. The women, who have fought alongside their Kurdish comrades to defend Kobanê and are now working in there construction, sent their greetings for March 8, International Working Women’s Day, to all the oppressed women and LGBTQI people in the world.
“Seeing 14, 15-year-old girls coming here wanting to defend their homeland affects you like you can’t believe,” said Ulrike Barbara of TİKKO (Liberation Army of the Workers and Peasants of Turkey). “I’ve been here for two months but I really regret not coming earlier.”
Ulrike had long been interested in women’s issues while she was in Turkey. She stressed the intimate link between the violence against women and minorities in Turkey and the attacks of rapist Daesh gangs against Kurdish women, carried out with the logistical support of the Turkish government.
Roza Kutlu of the MLKP (Marxist-Leninist Communist Party) said the Kobanê martyrdom of Sarya Özgür, a fellow MLKP fighter, was one of the factors that moved her to come here, but that Kurdish women fighters and martyrs had long been an inspiration for her. Now Arîn Mîrxan, the martyr who sacrificed herself to liberate the city, had become an inspiration for her and all her comrades.
“The resistance led by the YPJ here has been an example to us all,” said Rezzan Işık of the MLKP. “Women walk the streets with confidence here, with guns in their hands. They’ve made the heroic sacrifices on the front lines—women like Arîn Mîrxan, Sarya Özgür and Kader Ortakaya.”
She said these martyrs in the Kobanê resistance, giving their all against the rapist Daesh gang members, inspired her to fight for and defend herself. Now she has come here hoping to take part in the reconstruction process, saying she wanted to help build a woman’s city on the site where so many women gave their lives for freedom.
