Recent attacks and sabotage (Italy)

November 28th, 2014

Latest direct actions in Italy:

12 November, Milano: anonymous claim: “On Wednesday night, November 12th, we attacked 5 ATMs with hammer and vandalized several luxury cars (punctured tires and broken windows), as a minimum gesture of individual revolt against a capitalist system that exploits and devastates.

We dedicate this action to the compagni and the compagna accused of attacking the TAV construction yard in May 2013 as well as to all anarchist prisoners. We cannot stand idly by while our comrades are buried under years of imprisonment, or limit ourselves to symbolic acts that do not cause any nuisance.
The only solidarity is attack!”

15 November, Venezia: according to the media, the justice palace was vandalized with paint and spraypaint against the TAV: “Free the no tav prisoners”.

17 November, Napoli: according to the media, an explosive device containing 1 kilo of black powder was found unexploded in front of a Deutsche Bank in the neighborhood of Vomero. Until now no-one claimed the action.

18 November, Cremona: according to the media, a PD (=Democratic Party) office was vandalized in Cremona, with a smashed window, damage to the videosurveillance cameras and spray-paints like: “Stop evictions”, “PD=Police”, “Corvetto resists” and “Free the no tav prisoners”.

18 November, Milano: according to the media, during the night an ALER office in via Inganni was set on fire. This happened a few hours after the eviction of two anarchist squats and other houses and the resistance to it. A window was smashed and a molotov cocktail thrown inside, with heavy damages to furniture, computers, papers and other material (picture: http://www.informa-azione.info/files/0milanoaler.jpg) .
ALER is the company responsible for the recent plan of evicting hundreds of occupied houses, for the business of the thousands of houses left vacant, for property speculations on housing projects in Milano.

Unknown date, Viterbo: anonymous claim: “An animal liberation activist once wrote that in the last twenty years the number of vegetarians and vegans has increased dramatically, but the number of activists has remained the same. This made us think and we decided to bring animal liberation back to its true meaning: to free animals. One November night we visited a small farm in Orte (Province of Viterbo); we opened the doors of the cages that imprisoned ten rabbits, giving them freedom. We then opened the henhouse and carried away with us about 10 turkeys and other birds. We dedicate this action to those who are truly active, in the way and form they prefer, and not on social networks!”

20 November, Milano: anonymous claim: “20th of november is the day of remembrance for the people killed for being trans. This year the registered deaths in the world are 226. We decided to attack a catholic church because it is a symbol of the anti-trans oppression. The violence experienced by trans people is the consequence of their moral and anti-gender rules. In the night of 20/11 we attacked the church of San Paolo in via vismara 2. We glued the locks of several doors, we threw pink paint on the facade and spraypainted: “20/11 NIGHT OF TRANS REVENGE” on the front door. LET’S ATTACK THE CHURCHES! REVENGE AND NOT ONLY REMEMBRANCE!”

22 November, Trento: according to the media, the local office of PD party was painted and some writings were left like: “Freedom for the arrested in Valsusa”, “No PD – Corvetto resists”, “NO TAV – no evictions”. The traffic was blocked and a banner against high speed was hanged. Some days before, on the 19th, an high speed train was blocked in the train station in solidarity with the No Tav resistance; the sides were spraypainted with slogans dedicated to Rémi Fraisse and for the freedom of arrested comrades.

Solidarity action for Nikos Romanos and Tamara Sol (Chile)

November 27th, 2014

325 receives news from comrades in Puerto Montt, Chile:

Greetings from Chile

In the first hours of November 25, 2014, we dropped two banners in S.Allende Avenue in Puerto Montt, as a response to Antiprison Solidarity and Agitation Weeks and the International Call for Revolutionary Solidarity with Comrade Nikos Romanos, who is in hunger strike since November 10, fighting for a breath of freedom outside the walls of Koridallos fucking prison. In the other hand, soon will start Comrade Tamara Sol trial, to whom we warmly hugh and send strength!. As you know, she is being accused for the shooting to a bank guard as a revenge act for the murder of the Comrade Sebastian Oversluij on December 11, 2013.

The banners read:

- “Tamara Sol ¡To the street! And all the enemies of Domination jailed by State in Mexico, Greece, Italy, Chile, USA…

- “Strength, Nikos Romanos, in Hunger strike”

There are neither limits nor barriers that can stop the multiform anarchist action, just excuses!

Durham Actions in Solidarity with Anti-Police Struggle (USA)

November 27th, 2014

325 receives and transmits from North Carolina:

On Tuesday night November 25th, a group of people enraged by the police murder of
Mike-Mike Brown, and inspired by the rebellious acts that have spread across the
country, vandalized the Durham National Guard Armory on Stadium Dr. Messages were
painted on the front doors and over a dozen windows were smashed out.

The National Guard is now on the streets of St. Louis and Ferguson, continuing the
racist cops’ war on behalf of the rich against the poor.

This act followed an exciting night of protest in downtown Durham, in which a
diverse hundreds of people spoke out about their experiences at the hands of the
police, blocked streets, set off fireworks, spray-painted buildings with anti-police
and anti-prison messages, and blocked the northbound side of Highway 147.

We hope all of these acts contribute to a continued escalation in local, combative
struggle against racism, capitalism, and the state.

For anarchy,

Letter from anarchists Amélie and Fallon (Mexico)

November 26th, 2014

via act for freedom now!:

We have been in prison for over 10 months now. In recent weeks they have passed two sentences on us: federal and common. On November 1 Judge Manuel Munoz Bastida of the eighth federal court of Reclusorio Sur handed down a sentence of seven and a half years’ prison on charges of “Arson to a public building with people inside,” this for the damage caused to the “Mexican communication and transport offices”.

The “people inside” are the two federal pigs that were in charge of the security of the place. Then, on November 7, we received the second sentence for the common court charges of “damage to private property in a group” and “breach of the peace”. These charges relate to the attack that occurred at the car dealership of Nissan. It being on the corner of the STC where we burned the cars.

Judge Margarita Bastida Negrete of the court of common law # 18 of Reclusorio East sentenced us to two years and seven months in prison, joining the two charges so that material damage and breach of the peace became damages of 108 000 pesos. According to the law, for all sentences of less than 5 years, first time offenders are entitled to certain benefits. Read the rest of this entry »

Revenge for Rémi, street fires for nuclear industry, prison society and the European Green Capital (UK)

November 26th, 2014

325 receives and transmits:

French police have killed Rémi Fraisse while they try to rout a combative forest occupation that prevents the Sivens dam. We have burned a vehicle in the service of the French multinational GDF (who work towards the new nuclear reactor not far away at Hinkley Point on top of other nuclear projects in many countries, force dams on irreplaceable Amazonian indigenous lands with the support of Brazil’s military, provide facility management for the police force in this region, run utilities on the Shetland Islands for one of the biggest oil and gas terminals in Europe, manage multiple French prisons, and all around design technologies which attempt to disguise industrial capitalism as sustainable development for the same banks and commercial entities as always).

This was in the Long Ashton area, where we then also burned an audacious 4×4, two luxury sports cars, and a vehicle of OCS (who are considered one of the top security companies in the UK, providing guard personnel, patrols, CCTV instillation and monitoring, etc.). Read the rest of this entry »

International Organization for Migration (IOM) headquarters attacked in Geneva (Switzerland)

November 26th, 2014

325 receives and transmits:

In the night between the 20th and 21st of November 2014, we smashed the windows and covered the entrance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) headquarters in Geneva with paint as an act of solidarity with the migrants they survey and try to control.

Posing as a humanitarian organization, the IOM actually supports their fundingmember states in maintaining their borders and economic interests at the cost ofhuman lives and freedom. In addition to states, their corporate donors: Chevron,DOW, and UBS all have their starring roles in ecological and economic catastrophesthat displace people from their homes.

We attack the IOM for closely working with Frontex to build up “Fortress Europe“,their involvement in (Australia’s offshore) detention prisons, providing states with data on migration routes and migrants’ identities, their so-called “voluntary return programs“ that bribe migrants to return to their points of origin, and for all other material and technical support they provide in the international regime of migration control.

This was only a small act of solidarity, but the nights are cold and dark and we rather smash any part of the state’s constructed borders and the glass buildings of their guardians than to sleep through the winter.

We remember the 19 July 2013 riot at the Nauru Detention Center and it reminds us that the only response to that kind of imprisonment is destruction.

No person is il/legal! Close the camps!

p.s. Greetings to our unknown friends that seem to have been out in Geneva at around the same time painting the French Consulate blood-red in memory of Rémi F!

War against ISIS/Daesh: International solidarity to the fighters in Kobane (Kurdistan)

November 21st, 2014

Victory to the fighters in Kobane – Death to the fascists-mercenaries of the ISIS/Daesh.

YPG Media Centre

Kobanî / November 20, 2014 – The terrorist attacks by the ‘ISIS’ mercenaries to occupy Kobanî continued yesterday on the 66th day. Yet our forces of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) and the Women’s Defense Units YPJ have limited the terrorists’ attacks, and are continuing their operations. The terrorists however are constantly shelling the residential districts of the city center.

On the eastern front of Kobanî, our forces last night carried out several operations against the terrorists in the Sukul Hal area, the municipality street, and the Azadî (Freedom) square. The operations on the three locations were effectively conducted where 7 terrorists were killed.

On the southern front, our troops operated against several areas that had been occupied by the terrorists. In these operation a motorcycle was destroyed and 9 terrorists were killed.

In the last night’s tasks one of our comrades who played a major role to accomplish the operations, fought heroically and was martyred in action.

International Call for Revolutionary Solidarity with Anarchist Nikos Romanos on hunger strike since 10/11/14 (Greece)

November 21st, 2014

via Act for Freedom Now!:

Imprisoned anarchist Nikos Romanos has been on hunger strike since Monday November 10 demanding his right to educational day release from prison. From 17th November comrade Giannis Mihailidis has also been on hunger strike in solidarity with his comrade.

Their struggle is also ours, whatever they decide we are with them as we have been from the start. From the moment of their capture the comrades have vindicated their anarchist individualities with passion and dignity throughout the ordeals reserved for them in the cesspits of the State. For us of act for freedom now every translated word, paragraph and page expresses our rage and desire to give a strong flaming hug to the comrades held hostage in the hell-holes of the state. Distance is irrelevant when we speak of solidarity. That is why we are calling, as of now, for international revolutionary solidarity for Nikos.

We will not leave any comrade alone in the hands of the state.

SOLIDARITY IS OUR WEAPON

*That night we kept our eyes fixed on the horizon and saw many falling stars drawing their own chaotic paths. And we counted them over and over, we made wishes, calculated the odds. We knew that our desire for a free life had to step over all that oppresses us, murders us, destroys us, so we dived into the void just like the shooting stars we were observing. Since then innumerable stars have fallen, perhaps it’s time for our star to fall, who knows? If we had the answers ready, we wouldn’t have become what we are, but selfish bastards who would teach people how to become rodents that eat each other as they do today. At least we still remain implacable and stubborn like the people of our kind. And those of us who closed their eyes in pain and travelled far continue to keep their eyes stuck on that night sky we also observed.
And they watch us fall, beautiful and shining stars.

Now it’s our turn.

Now, without hesitation, we fall.

As of Monday, November 10th, 2014 I begin a hunger strike without taking a step back, with anarchy forever in my heart.

Responsible for each day of hunger strike, and whatever happens from this point forward, is the prison board, namely the prosecutor Nikolaos Pimenidis, the director Charalabia Koutsomichali as well as the social work assistant.

SOLIDARITY MEANS ATTACK

PS.
To all the armchair “fighters”, professional humanists, “sensitive” intellectual and spiritual personages: good riddance to you in advance.

A new criminal case started against Mikalai Dziadok (Belarus)

November 21st, 2014

325 receives and transmits from ABC Belarus:

On November 20 Mikalai Dziadok was charged with malicious disobedience to the demands of prison administration (art.411). This became known from a state lawyer, who had been called to attend the procedure. The case was started on November 13. In the near future the anarchist will be transferred to the pre-trial detention centre as a defendant.

Before that Dziadok had spent 8 days in a punishment cell, and was transferred to the solitary confinement.

The prisoner should have been set free on March 3, 2015 after 4.5 years in prison. The new case can add a year to his final sentence.

As you know, the presidential elections are to take place in autumn of 2015. Lukashenko does his best to neutralise his political opponents, especially anarchists, who fight against any power and are ready to act radically.

Nikos Romanos: Liberating Journeys of Attack (Greece)

November 15th, 2014

via contrainfo:

The following text is intended to be the continuation of a dialogue on the tools of anarchist insurgency and the ways of organizing ourselves; a dialogue that was initiated at an international anarchist encounter somewhere in the countryside of France and now continues from a prison cell in Greece.

The opinions expressed here are my own personal views, so it should be clear that they promote a particular position on the issue. However it is not desired to have one position prevail over all the others; what matters is how the various different, yet complementary, points of view communicate and interact with each other. In the face of an enemy that’s very flexible as regards the use and multitude of means and forms of attack, the diversity of considerations and practices on the part of anarchists is self-evident. Whichever different perspectives cannot be promoted dogmatically but rather based on a rationale of multifaceted attack.

First we need to talk about the very concept of organization, a word quite misunderstood in anarchist circles.

We face an enemy with complex and complicated functions. One of the main characteristics that make the enemy powerful is the constant evolution and organization of the social paranoia we are experiencing today: a technological, military, architectural, civil, industrial, economic, scientific organization. Every aspect of this world is being organized, constantly correcting its imperfections through an intelligent system which has a great number of servants. Read the rest of this entry »

Anti-Pipeline Graffiti Raid Update: VPD claiming $500,000 in damages not including graffiti (Canada)

November 15th, 2014

by indyvan, Vancouver Media Coop

On June 3rd, 2014, Vancouver Police staged a “guns-drawn” raid against a house of known indigenous and anarchist opponents to the energy policies of the central government and its corporate sponsors.

The ostensible reason for the raid was given as the search for graffiti materials believed to be tied to an ongoing “no pipelines” tagging campaign. One person was arrested, but released without charges or conditions.

The Vancouver Police Department returned on June 12 at around 9am with a warrant to take a DNA blood sample from the accused. The accused was again released without charges. There has been no info on the result of the DNA blood sample nearly 5 months after. Read the rest of this entry »
