Vancouver Solidarity Arson with Grand Jury Resistors (Canada)

March 6th, 2013

The fire still burns. With the news of the release of two of the three Grand Jury Resistors ( Matt and it warmed our hearts but also filled them with anger. The state has taken parts of their life they will never get back. We also have not forgotten about the third resister (Maddy) and all the other nameless ones.

So last night, we decided to send a message that the release of our comrades will not stop our attacks on financial infrastructure, government and all others who oppress and take away our freedom. An unsuspecting bank, CIBC, had a Molotov cocktail thrown at it. The flames brought new life to our minds and destruction to the bank and a sense of insecurity to the Vancouver Police and the banks investors that they will never be able to stop us and that our attacks will increase.

The fire will always burn. Last night, we let that fire burn a financial institution that profits off the lives of the workers and foreclosures of families homes. Let this inspire anarchists and other radical elements of Vancouver, Coast Salish Territory, to attack and to attack now. We cannot be stopped.

Love, to all comrades from CST Vancouver

On the killing of Sabino Romero (Venezuela)

March 5th, 2013

During the night of March 3, 2013 Yukpa Cacique Sabino Romero, well known for his defense of the rights of the Yukpa people, was assassinated on Chaktapa Highway, in the Sierra de Perijá (Zulia State). Since November 13, 2003 when President Hugo Chavez, speaking at El Menito, Lagunillas, announced the increase in carbon exploitation to 36 million metric tons per year in the territories inhabited by different native ethnic groups, Sabino Romero was one of the people from indigenous communities that mobilized to protest the consequences their land would suffer due to the expansion of mega-mining in their region. Sabino’s struggle focused on obtaining the zoning and title to the indigenous territories, for which he put together different mobilizations in Zulia State as well as in Caracas, using different means of struggle, among them direct action and occupation of indigenous lands in the hands of cattle ranchers. Russia: Local police station is destroyed in Povedniki (Moscow region)

March 4th, 2013

In the night February 19/20 we attacked local police station in the village Povedniki (Moscow region). It was settled in non-residential building – so we felt free to act strongly. It is likely, that a good portion of incendiary has completely destroyed the contents of this enemy’s nest (we had no possibility to watch fire up to end).

Dear comrades! We see authorities unqualified, organized badly and act blindly. So it is time to concentrate on radical struggle and then you can damage the system stronger and go free longer. Join us!

Victory will be ours!

‘In The Belly Of The Beast’ by John Bowden

March 4th, 2013

Fyoder Dostoevsky, the Russian novelist and sometimes political dissident, once wisely observed that a good barometer of the level and quality of a society’s civilisation is the way it treats it’s prisoners, the most dis-empowered of all social groups.

There has of course always existed a sort of socially organic and dynamic relationship between prison society and the wider ordinary society beyond it’s walls, and the treatment of prisoners is usually an accurate reflection of the relationship of power that prevails between the state and ordinary working class people in the broader society. It is how political power is shaped and negotiated between the state and the poorer social groups on the outside that essentially determines the treatment of prisoners on the inside. March 1st, 2013

In the early hours of Monday 18/2, groups of comrades made a coordinated attack against various targets in the suburbs of Athens (Greece), which represent different sides of a reality that not only we don’t take for granted but on the contrary, we plan with hate its destruction. Against the authoritarian tombstone of the general social apathy, we promote the chaos of direct action. Read the rest of this entry »

Jakarta: Claim of responsibility for shopping area arson by Anger Unit / ICR-FAI-IRF (Indonesia)

February 24th, 2013

There is no reason to step back. War continues as always and must be more violent each and every time. All of the infrastructures of the society are our targets and there are no excuses to let one still stand against the beautiful sky. All the buildings are the walls against our sight to see the stars, the same stars which our imprisoned and guerrilla comrades in other part of the world are also seeing.

Through the fire, we want to send our warmest greetings to the knights warriors around the globe who still carry on attacks as our revolutionary way. To the brave and dignified prisoners who kept their head up against the misery and cowardice of ‘reformist’ anarchists.

Last night (Friday, 22 February), we burned down another property of Society. We placed an incendiary of fire in the middle-class shopping areas in North Jakarta. We burn the shops as our sample and to once again call the individuals to create their own attacks –especially in Indonesia and South East Asia. We showed through practice that each individual can bring their anger into fire and gasoline without the specializations of elite units. We are not vanguards or the messiah to save the Society. We are the angry individuals who only want to burn down Society.

Only cowards –even self-proclaimed as anarchists– who only see the fire is rising and covering the sky with dark smokes and doing nothing. Cowards are the integral parts of the Society who are always waiting for the ‘right moments’ and trying to keep their life in the comfort zones. And we point out the cowards as our enemies and we will hunt you down also. In the future, we will not feel sorry if in our actions to attack Society, we are risking the life of someone.

From now, we will limit our revolutionary greetings to the comrades who in our judgements are revolutionary. We will not let our fire warm the ‘innocent’, ‘reformist’, ‘pacifist’, ‘formal and pro-judicial anarchists’, ‘facebook anarchists’ and other cowards. Our actions always are only for ourselves and our individualistic values and for the revolutionary comrades.

And through the fire, we send our love to the imprisoned comrades: Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the 4 anarchists who are recently accused for double robbery in Greece, Alfredo and Nicola and other comrades who accused in Operation Thor, Ixodae, Mangifuoco, and similar repressions in Italy, to Gabriel Pombo da Silva and to Marco Camenisch, to Marcelo, Juan, Fredy, Ivan & Carla in Chile, to Henry in Bolivia, to injured one Tripa Lopez in Mexico, to Tukijo and to the insurrectionary prisoners behind state bars who always kept their dignity and revolutionary values. We also want to send our love to the comrades on the run: Felicity, Hans and others. Keep running and do not let the enemies catch you.

Love and revolutionary greetings to the individuals, cells and groups of Informal Anarchist FederationInternational Revolutionary Front. Let’s surround Society with our fires.

War continues until the collapse of the society.

Black February: Message of Solidarity from some people of the ZAD and elsewhere (France)

February 24th, 2013

Message of solidarity from some people of the ZAD (Zone A Défendre) and elsewhere in France, an occupied area against an international airport and metropolisation project.

With pleasure, we heard of the reactions of solidarity against the evictions at Athens in December and January : United States, India, England, Canada, Australia, Japan, Chile… and also the numerous actions and demonstrations through Greece.

In split of contexts differences here or elsewhere, the same mechanisms of repression sweep down on all those who struggle against the imposition of what our lives should be. And who wants a liberty which have an other flavour than the sad liberty to survive in their international competition in silence. Read the rest of this entry »

Reawakened investigation to revenge the lack of evidence against hungerstriker Alfredo Cospito (Italy)

February 21st, 2013

From RadioAzione:

I received this piece of writing with an update on the situation of comrade Alfredo Cospito, who’s been on hunger strike since January 29 along with another comrade, Sergio Maria Stefani. Yet another search and another investigation against Alfredo. Obviously someone is very pissed off because their “very reliable” evidence is crumbling in the face of the tests carried out during the investigation. Obviously someone wants to strike while the iron is still hot for them… but be aware because some sparks could reach your eyes and the hot iron could burn you and prevent you from sleeping soundly and safely. Unconditional solidarity and complicity with Alfredo and all the other comrades.

RadioAzione

This is the text I received:

SEARCH AT THE AS2 UNIT OF THE SAN MICHELE PRISON IN ALESSANDRIA

February 19. From Alfredo Cospito’s solicitor we learn that this morning the ROS of Genoa delivered an investigation warrant to Alfredo Cospito, concerning an attack on the RIS [Technical Investigation Unit], carried out in Parma in… 2005. The comrade’s cell was raided in search of traces of the comrade’s DNA, after he had refused to give it spontaneously. We want to point out how this provocation by cops is being unleashed when Alfredo is at his 22nd day of hunger strike and a few weeks after tests on the motorcycle helmets were made precisely by the RIS of Parma investigating the wounding of the manager of Ansaldo Nucleare, tests which were negative in spite of the triumphant tones of the mass media at the time of the comrades’ arrest.

Having been humiliated, RIS, ROS, etc are having another try… Unconditional solidarity with Alfredo and all the comrades hit by repression.

PS. So far we’ve got no news of other comrades being searched or investigated. Updates will follow.

Solidarity with John Massey (UK)

February 19th, 2013

The following is an article by ex-prisoner, prison campaigner and journalist Charles Hanson:

John Massey one of the longest serving life sentence prisoners in the UK (sentenced 1976) and now aged 64 has been charged with assaulting prison staff at HMP Belmarsh.

During the morning of the 5 February 2013, John was called in from the exercise yard at Belmarsh Prison to undergo a cell and body search. During the cell search procedure and following an exchange of words between John and prison staff, nine prison officers including a dog handler, set upon John and seriously assaulted him. He sustained cuts and bruises and has been seen by medical staff. Read the rest of this entry »

Seventh communique from Individualists Tending toward the Wild (ITS) – Mexico

February 19th, 2013

received and translated by waronsociety:

“When the blood of your veins returns to the sea
and the dust of your bones returns to the ground,
maybe then you will remember that this Earth does not belong to you,
you belong to this Earth.”
- Native American saying

Before beginning this new text signed by ITS, we want to express our enormous gratitude to the anarchist portal “Liberación Total,” since over the years they have disseminated our communiques despite the many uncomfortable circumstances that have presented themselves; in a note attached to a November 27, 2011 text by the “Animal and Earth Liberation Front of Mexico” titled “Conspiracy Theories and the Ridiculous Saboteurs“  [Spanish link*] which we quote, they said, “we will keep disseminating the information which has to do with the ITS,” and that is what they have done.

Likewise we thank all the persons and groups (from Mexico as well as Canada, the United States, Chile, Spain, Indonesia, Costa Rica, Italy, Russia, Germany, etc) who have at their own times recognized our work and/or have spread our words in one way or another. These displays of acceptance will always be taken into account as ITS did in our fourth communique (September 21, 2011) in note E; but it is worth mentioning that the displays of rejection do not go unnoticed either, when they have solid foundations that merit the effort of a response.

The aim of this text is to make our stance clear, continuing the work of spreading our ideas, clearing up some apparent doubts and misinterpretations, as well as accepting mistakes and/or errors. In no way do we want to start an endless discussion that only takes up time and energy, nor do we want this text to turn into something other than what it is. Anyone who reads it will be able to interpret correctly (or incorrectly) what they are aiming to read; the intelligent reader will know to reflect and consequently do what seems right to them.

Ecotage in Krasnodar (Russia)

February 17th, 2013

from russia with love:

We receive and transmit: 10/02/2013 members of ALF-Kuban torched construction vehicles used for destroying a grove – one of the few left – in Krasnodar.

“All river basin is in danger, because these woods act as lungs for three districts: Komsomolsky, Pashkovky and Hydrostroy). In their lust for profit development companies won’t listen to locals, ecological surveys or petitions. So we chose to sabotage their efforts. We are making them pay,” – ALF-Kuban

Total Liberation: An interview with Walter Bond on Anarchy, Abortion rights, Anti-Colonialism & Animal Liberation

February 17th, 2013

via anarchistnews.org:

Punk bands tour the world singing anthems that promote militant direct action & activism, putting out albums with flaming Molotovs emblazoned across their covers, with militant messages; but few of us ever truly put those words into action. Walter Bond on the other hand has spent decades working tirelessly, whether leafleting at shows and in the streets, tabling at Pride events, protesting, or volunteering at animal sanctuaries before finally turning to the more militant tactics of the Animal Liberation Front. Walter is a proud anarchist, Vegan, of Latino heritage, who identifies as bisexual. He also is currently a prisoner in one of the most controversial and restrictive prisons in the USA today.

I have been writing to Walter in prison since he was first arrested 2 years ago, after his brother snitched him out. At the time of his arrest, Walter was living on the streets while attacking businesses that profit from animal exploitation.

interview by Comrade Black originally posted on Profane Existence

PE: – You identified as an anarchist for most of your life. Can you tell us what being an anarchist means to you, and how it connects with Animal Liberation, and Total Liberation?

WALTER: When I was in 7th grade in 1989 I used to make all kinds of clip art fliers with my friends under the name ‘Anti-Statist Counter Culture’. We would distribute them mostly to local corporate businesses and churches in the area, mostly to agitate. By the end of 8th grade I had completely dropped out of school and was living this nihilist lifestyle and was just very reactionary and angry at the whole world, parents, school, everything! Back then I was dealing with a world of shit that was to much for me to handle. I turned to drug abuse and vandalism as an outlet. Anarchism back then was a personal vendetta I had about how my life and the world around me was and how I felt it should be. Read the rest of this entry »
