FAI-FRI claim responsibility for incendiary attack against Trastor REIC (Greece)

August 21st, 2012

From contrainfo:

13 August 2012

Athens: Responsibility claim for arson on the headquarters of Trastor real estate investment company

We are witnessing the most extreme contradictions that are born and die in this shit-world. While the calculators of sorcerer’s apprentices of economic statistics are counting 23,000 dead in Syria, billions of people are watching besotted the London Olympic Games; the distance between the Olympic and the ‘practical’ shooting in the field of operations is just a simple push of the button on a remote control. If only it could happen… all these rivers of blood to become an impetuous torrent which will drown athletes and spectators. If only it could happen… We can refer all the same to the thousands of homeless people ‘messing up’ the image of the dire city, while the rich enjoy their luxurious comforts in the gardens of Ekali and Kifissia (two of the richest suburbs of Athens).

Societies that, despite their contradictions, manage to reproduce the stench they’re emitting, partitioning everyone and everything, manufacturing hundreds of microcosms.

Power is not a compact structure but a diffused edifice, located on the systemic structures—economic, institutional, etc.—and human relations. Starting from society’s chopping into antagonistic-with-each-other subsets, the constant fragmentation continues in the individual’s daily life within the capitalist world; in every aspect of the individual’s life, in every field of expression. ‘The Key Code of Order’ by Federico Buono (Edizioni Cerbero)

August 17th, 2012

‘The definition of “trajectory” is indivisible in a modular fraction in the course of time, along a border composed between time course and time commencing in the passage from the limit that gives a boundary to practicability.’

‘IMMEDIATE SYLLOGISM IN THE MEDIATED’ – ‘THE TEMPLE OF PROPHECY’

‘The digression is the border fathomed in search of a structural form that becomes and extends its foundations between a time limit and a limitative term of a limbo in a prophesized temporality.’

‘DECOMPOSED AXIOM’ – ‘THE TEMPLE OF PROPHECY’

‘The identifying structure now stays at the “centre” of a fatal ceremony, it is now visible in a perceptive manner, it expresses the clarifying signs in the essence of a representation of a symbolic representation in the immanence of the approaching prophecy.’

‘STRUCTURAL ELEMENT IN FLATNESS’ – ‘THE TEMPLE OF PROPHECY’

‘The leaning produced in an analogy between “reached-out” in the pretension and a “hanging” at the officious liturgical ceremony prepares the simulation of the leadership role in a concealment of the preparatory acts.’

‘APODICTIC’ – ‘IMPEDING RIGOR MORTIS’

‘The disposition of the events is the directing in a translation of an inclined deduction in reversibility between Abnegation and Invocation.’

“About the new set-up” – Letter from Mario “Tripa” López (Mexico)

August 16th, 2012

From the imprisoned injured anarchist “Tripa” (The Gut), harmed after an accident.

About the new set-up

Reading the press bulletin released on the 11th of July 2012, I started to feel a sense of worry from the anarchist ¨movement¨ about a probable repressive wave, such as a police set-up. This type of offensive strike are now ¨popularly¨ known and an every day occurrence in the three countries of the Mediterranean with the most anarchist presence, and also in the south of the American continent where anarchist action stands out, particularly in Chile. Buenos Aires: Soli-action with Felicity Ryder & Mario ‘Tripa’ Lopez (Argentina)

August 16th, 2012

Llamada internacional por un publicacion anti-carceles / International call for an anti-prisons publication

August 9th, 2012

Op. Ardire – Open letter to the anarchist movement from Stefano Gabriele Fosco (Italy)

August 8th, 2012

from: informa-azione.info translated by Actforfreedomnow/sysiphus

We receive and are spreading this open letter to the anarchist movement, from Stefano Gabriele Fosco, anarchist comrade, prisoner since June 13 following the operation Ardire.

-

I sincerely thank all the bloggers who enter the hypertext links I refer to in order to facilitate understanding of this letter.

Open letter of Stefano Gabriele Fosco to the anarchist movement.

With due respect for the individual choices of comrades struck by the repression, I have always criticised anarchists who decided not to pronounce themselves concerning the accusations when they were arrested. Sure, it’s always good not to provide any information that could be useful to the investigations, but these silences have often come to affect solidarity itself.

If a comrade is accused of participating in some kind of direct action, for example, and the defence intends to demonstrate that they have nothing to do with the actions attributed to them, then it does not make sense for the movement to come out with the usual phrase “solidarity if innocent, even more if guilty.” Read the rest of this entry »

Sydney: Banners dropped in solidarity with Toronto G20 Prisoners (Australia, Canada)

August 8th, 2012

On August 5 some anarchists dropped two banners from the Carhill expressway bridge outside the Canadian consulate. The action was in response to a call out for August 5 to be a day of solidarity actions for Kelly Rose Pflug-Back, an anarchist hostage of the Canadian state, recently sentenced to 15 months in prison for her resistance to the Toronto G20 in 2010.

The banners read:

‘EVERY PRISONER IS A POLITICAL PRISONER’ &
‘FREE KELLY ROSE PFLUG-BACK’

A couple hundred leaflets condemning the repression and celebrating the resistance in the occupied territory of Canada were also thrown from the bridge. Our small act was an expression of our solidarity with Kelly and all the rebels who rejected the passive logic of legal protest and made a concrete stand against the annual meeting of the managers of global capital.

Multiple Arsons: Olympic torch returns to Bristol (GB)

August 8th, 2012

From Bristol IMC:

On Monday 31st we lit up the opening week of the Olympics with an attack on two vehicles (and all the equipment they contained) belonging to British Telecom (BT), an “official Olympic partner”. It’s a small reply to the heightened repression in London.

In Longwell Green this week we then sabotaged a mast owned by BT’s parent company, O2, the mobile phone network. We burnt out the mast by setting fire to the cables at the bottom.

While the thousands who can afford to swell the economy are welcomed by the state for the Olympics, O2 profits from the exploitation of a literal captive audience of “illegal” migrants who are forced to use O2 phones with extortionate pricing in a pilot scheme at Yarl’s Wood “Immigration Removal Centre” (prison) which is run by Serco. The authorities can monitor calls with ease, and the network is easier to shut down in the event of a disturbance or as punishment for rule breaking. There are currently mass hunger strikes in Germany and the UK (in Morton Hall, a former open prison now specifically designated for “foreign nationals”), these hunger strikes are an expression against detention, control and isolation. Video and communique from the arsonists in Khimki forest (Russia)

August 7th, 2012

20 July 2012

On the night of 20-21 July, after having received news of new tree-cutting activity in Khimki forest, we decided to visit the workers. We aimed for 2 trucks and excavator parked on the clear cut. They were completely destroyed.

Our solidarity goes out to eco-activists who broke the arm of private guard who was guarding the clear cut (this piece we learned from news).

Enough of pseudo-legalism!

Do like us, do better than us.

CCF : Reports from the 2nd Halandri Trial (Greece)

August 6th, 2012

From This Is Our Job:

Summary of days 26 and 27 (Wednesday, July 25 and Thursday, July 26) of 2nd Halandri Case trial

These sessions marked the beginning of the defense attorneys’ remarks.

As one of the attorneys pointed out, the four Fire Cells Conspiracy comrades have distanced their position from the “defensive” remarks of their attorneys, since the comrades don’t recognize the authority of the court and won’t make apologias. The attorney explained that the defense attorneys’ remarks would thus express only their own opinions, and not the anarchist position of the Fire Cells Conspiracy. Read the rest of this entry »

Greece: Banner over the Aegean Sea, in solidarity with the fisherfolk’s fight in the Manado Bay (Indonesia)

August 5th, 2012

From contra-info:

In the context of Contra Info call for propaganda actions against repression, in the first days of August we placed a banner close to a coast and a crossroad on Kalymnos, an island where the traditional way of fishing and sponge diving has been performed for too many decades. This was our small token of solidarity with the ongoing struggle of the Malalayang traditional fisherfolk, who proudly resist a mega-project along the Manado coast, in Indonesia. We thus wanted them to know they are not alone.

Read and spread the call for solidarity and resistance against the mega-project of Coastal Reclamation in Manado (June 2012): in English / Spanish

The banner reads in Greek-English-Indonesian:

From Greece to Indonesia, sabotage against Capital/Power
Strength, fisherfolk of Manado
Solidarity with the fight in Manado-Indonesia
Long live sporadic direct action

Anti-Olympic solidarity – Burn London Burn (GB)

August 5th, 2012

From contra-info:

… At the main gate of the Polytechnic School, on Patission Street, we dropped a banner against the London Olympics, now in progress. The banner reads: “Smash the OlymPIGS and the capitalist wankers – Arson and wildfire to the Olympic ideals – Burn, London, burn”… The Olympic ideals are stinking of money, militarization and repression. We don’t forget the comrades who, despite the super-spectacle set up by cops, military and mass media, are stepping forward and spitting the society of submission on its face. Let us also remind people of the 2014 World Cup and the 2016 Olympics in Rio de Janeiro, as well as the need to organize an international campaign against the displacements of oppressed populations who are living in the Brazilian favelas.

… From some place of Tenerife (Canary Islands), the name of which we don’t want to remember we have wanted to unite the callout made by Contra Info for actions of international solidarity.

Electricity pylon destroyed by villagers in Paniki Atas (Indonesia)

August 4th, 2012

Rough translation from Negasi:

Wednesday, July 12, 2012, a High Voltage Electricity Pylon was destroyed by villagers of Paniki Atas, North Minahasa regency, North Sulawesi. This action of destruction is a manifestation of the attitude of rejection of the establishment of facilities for the residents in the surrounding residential area. The facility itself is a project of the State Electricity Company. As a result of this action, the pylon in the village was totally destroyed and until now (August 2, 2012) can not be operated. Nine Paniki Atas villagers have been named as suspects and are required to undergo a series of inspections and investigations at the office of Police – North Minahasa. The investigations were scheduled for July 31, 2012, but only two residents who received the demand complied. Read the rest of this entry »
