In the 22 November trial of Alfredo and Christos for bank robbery in Trikala, Alfredo M. Bonnano was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment (which practically means that with the time served so far and the fact that he is over 70 years old, he was released). Christos Stratigopoulos (who took responsibility for the action) was sentenced to 8 years and 9 months and with the Greek law will probably be released at the end 2011. Read the rest of this entry »
New first letter from the imprisoned fighters of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire who were arrested in the 1st Nov. 2010 ‘letter-bombs’ case, which sparked international attention from mainstream global media and their overseers.
WHOEVER DOES NOT ARM HIS DENIALS, DIES IN HIS CONTRACTS
On 01/11/2010, after we have already delivered two incendiary packages to Suisse Mail on Astidamantos street and to ACS on Spirou Merkouri street; in Pangrati, sent to the Mexican embassy in Athens and the address of Eurojust (EU Police agency) in the Hague, we are surrounded by police officers of the DIAS group (motorbike task force) and arrested. In our possession were found two more packages of incendiary parcels destined for the presidential residence of Nicolas Sarkozy in France and the Belgian Embassy in Athens. “The Tory offices in Nottingham were last night visited by individuals who hate Tory scum. We smashed some windows, painted some messages including “Fight the cuts” and “Tory Scum”.
We did this because we are sick of politicians attacking common people on behalf of the rich. Politicians who have no idea what the lives of common people consist of, and should have no control over their our lives.
We did this because we believe in acting autonomously with the rage in our hearts. And we did this in solidarity with those arrested for being at Millbank, and all people who are getting fucked over by the cuts and capitalism on a daily basis.”
“The Russian Embassy in Montreal, QC had it`s windows smashed and paint thrown against it`s facade. This action took place during the days of solidarity called for between November 12th-15th in solidarity with those facing repression of the aftermath of the militant defense of the Khimki old growth forest in Russia.
Freedom for ALL prisoners, from Russia to Canada”
UPDATE: An 18 year old student charged with ‘violent disorder’ and granted bail for throwing fire extinguisher from roof of Tory HQ at cops. This carries 5 years imprisonment and/or a fine on indictment; six months imprisonment and/or a fine summarily.
The anarchist Giannis Dimitrakis was arrested heavily wounded after a robbery at a branch of the National Bank in the center of Athens, on January 16th, 2006.
He defended the choice to expropriate a bank, without statements of remorse and with clarity about his motives and intentions. He gave meaning to his act as a moment in his critique and action against the system of wage slavery and exploitation, against the antisocial role of the banks and as a part of the polymorphic social struggle.

“Water Pumping Station at Axford in Berkshire Sabotaged to protect River Kennet SSSI (Site of Specific Scientific Interest).
The Thames water pumping station at Axford, nr Newbury, in Berkshire is causing severe damage to the ecology of the River Kennet, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The River is based on chalkland so any variations in the aquifer can cause damage to the habitats of species such as Water Crowfoot, water voles, river lampray, and brown trout. The pumping station at Axford currently abstracts 9.4 million litres of water a day, with a yearly licence for 4,049,000 cubic metres. 85% of this is pumped out of the catchment area for domestic and industrial use in Swindon, so is lost from the river system. Both Natural England and the World Wildlife Fund have condemed current abstraction levels from the Kennet as the cause of habitat destruction. The water licence is up for review in 2011, but as demand is increasing the chances for the Kennet are slim.
Earlier this summer fences to the compound at Axford were cut. To avoid the door and window alarms on the main pump facility air vents were removed and access was gained through the walls. The pumps were stopped and control room trashed. The back up generator was decomissioned and control pannels smashed. Locks on fluridation units were glued. This action was taken in defence of the River Kennet and the species that live there. Defend your local river system.”
In the modern junta of the I.M.F., the E.C.B., the E.U. and the Greek government, methods from the Nazi occupation in Greece are being mobilized. Just like when the Nazis attacked the families and the social environment of the guerrillas in order to isolate them and exterminate them easier, today the modern fascists that govern us target families, friends and comrades of ours and of the three comrades that are in prison accused of participating in “Revolutionary Struggle”, in an operation to terrorize a whole political movement, through new persecutions and mass interrogations. The Matrix of the Philippine Mining Industry
The mining industry is one of the biggest industries in the world to date.
In every part of the world where there are minerals, mining companies from such as Canada, United States, Australia, Asia, Japan and Norway and many parts of Europe compete to exploit the resources which they can gain profit from. Consequently, this has lead to the horrendous destruction of the Earth’s biosphere. Life support system such as water-sources, forests and wildlife are destroyed everyday to serve the mining companies profit motive. Read the rest of this entry »
“Extensive damage has been caused to a mobile vertical borehole drilling machine at the proposed Glentaggart East open cast coal mine in South Lanarkshire. This action, taken during the night of the 29th of October, was carried out anonymously by those acting in solidarity with The Happendon Wood Action Camp (THWAC), and in support of the residents of the Douglas Valley.
The sabotage was carried out as an act of resistance to Scottish Coal’s recently submitted proposals to begin open cast coal mining on a new site between the current Glentaggart and Mainshill mines and to begin work at two new sites in the area, including yet another extension to Broken Cross as well as in Auldton Hights, nearby Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.
No longer shall Scottish Coal and South Lanarkshire Council be allowed to continue their rape and pillage of the land. We refuse to stand by as they rip open the ground and gouge out its flesh for their profit and at the local communities detriment. We take this action as a statement of the fact that we will not see human greed create a world where the food is too posionous to eat, the water is too defiled to drink and the air is too polluted to breathe, whilst all around us the climate is thrown into chaos as the sky falls on our heads whilst the seas come up to our necks.
We believe that the death of Lambros Foundas by the uniformed murderers as well as the arrests of the six fighters for their participation or for their alleged participation in the Revolutionary Struggle, are integral facts of their historical-social frame. We consider them as the first and heavy losses in the new phase of growth of class war that has been signaled by the capitalistic crisis. We feel that Lambros did not simply leave one day of March, but fighting on the eve of a general strike, while the six arrested as well as all the imprisoned fighters, are missing from us in the streets in these important as well as difficult days that have come, these days where the subversive-liberating argument must and can be applied with new intensity and momentum.
The three comrades who took responsibility for the actions of Revolutionary Struggle show that fighting for what you believe in is not a task that only the “elite” can take on. Its in everyone that has suffered in the system that has been created to control us. The state knows they are the real terrorists and as long as no one is fighting back they have nothing to fear. Its time to show them enough is enough and attack it with all means available.
“And if the terrorists Papandreou and Chrysohoidis are laughing (in vain) about our arrests; if they believe they have thus guaranteed the necessary security for their social-fascist party to easily continue imposing their criminal projects on society, wagging their tails to please their American masters; if they are hoping they have eliminated a serious threat to their regime, we assure them that it will not be so easy to do away with us.
While we live and breathe, we will do everything possible to cause trouble for their antisocial, criminal projects.
And if our persecutors and this country’s political establishment believe they have all of society on their side, if they believe most people see us as a “social threat,” they are wrong.” Excerpt from the Political Letter to Society from the Revolutionary Struggle members (See 325 #8 for the full text).

A story already written? A few notes on the appeal trial against the Salento anarchists.
Ideas and laws, passion and social peace.
This story has often showed strong conflicts between those who expressed freely their ideas and those who attempted to repress them; between those who struggled with determination so that migrants were not locked up for not having an ID document, and those who boasted that locking up migrants was a question of security. On the one side the anarchists, on the other police, magistrates, the Church on charge of a CPT [immigration detention centre], journalists and politicians. All this, however, does not give a complete picture of what has happened and of what is still at stake. Read the rest of this entry »

"This pamphlet is a meeting point of comrades from all over the world. An imaginary meeting since the walls and bars of the prisons where we are temporarily keep our bodies hostage. But our meanings remain free, escape from the cells of prison and are expressed with words continuing to provoke authority.
Words that still smell of fire and gunpowder, words which carry with them all of our hate for the system, words unrepentant and armed, words which transfer stresses and desires, words which break the isolation of prison, words full of passion for the mutiny we want to continue, words from Chile, Mexico, America, Spain, Germany, Switzerland, Italy, Bulgaria, Indonesia..."CCF
