In the 22 November trial of Alfredo and Christos for bank robbery in Trikala, Alfredo M. Bonnano was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment (which practically means that with the time served so far and the fact that he is over 70 years old, he was released). On 01/11/2010, after we have already delivered two incendiary packages to Suisse Mail on Astidamantos street and to ACS on Spirou Merkouri street; in Pangrati, sent to the Mexican embassy in Athens and the address of Eurojust (EU Police agency) in the Hague, we are surrounded by police officers of the DIAS group (motorbike task force) and arrested. UPDATE: An 18 year old student charged with ‘violent disorder’ and granted bail for throwing fire extinguisher from roof of Tory HQ at cops. This carries 5 years imprisonment and/or a fine on indictment; six months imprisonment and/or a fine summarily.
The anarchist Giannis Dimitrakis was arrested heavily wounded after a robbery at a branch of the National Bank in the center of Athens, on January 16th, 2006.
He defended the choice to expropriate a bank, without statements of remorse and with clarity about his motives and intentions. He gave meaning to his act as a moment in his critique and action against the system of wage slavery and exploitation, against the antisocial role of the banks and as a part of the polymorphic social struggle.

“Water Pumping Station at Axford in Berkshire Sabotaged to protect River Kennet SSSI (Site of Specific Scientific Interest).
The Thames water pumping station at Axford, nr Newbury, in Berkshire is causing severe damage to the ecology of the River Kennet, designated as a Site of Special Scientific Interest. The River is based on chalkland so any variations in the aquifer can cause damage to the habitats of species such as Water Crowfoot, water voles, river lampray, and brown trout. The pumping station at Axford currently abstracts 9.4 million litres of water a day, with a yearly licence for 4,049,000 cubic metres. 85% of this is pumped out of the catchment area for domestic and industrial use in Swindon, so is lost from the river system. Both Natural England and the World Wildlife Fund have condemed current abstraction levels from the Kennet as the cause of habitat destruction. The water licence is up for review in 2011, but as demand is increasing the chances for the Kennet are slim.
Earlier this summer fences to the compound at Axford were cut. To avoid the door and window alarms on the main pump facility air vents were removed and access was gained through the walls. The pumps were stopped and control room trashed. The back up generator was decomissioned and control pannels smashed. Locks on fluridation units were glued. This action was taken in defence of the River Kennet and the species that live there. Defend your local river system.”

The two arrested yesterday (1 November 2010) accused of sending letter-bombs to embassies in Athens will appear in front of the interrogator on Thursday 4/11/10 at 10am.
The two comrades declared to the interrogator today that they do not recognize the procedure and that they do not apologize. The interrogator gave them until Thursday when they have to re-appear. According to their lawyer Gianna Kourtovik, they kept the same attitude at the police h/q as well.
The parents of the two accused who were called to identify them denied to appear.

“Extensive damage has been caused to a mobile vertical borehole drilling machine at the proposed Glentaggart East open cast coal mine in South Lanarkshire. This action, taken during the night of the 29th of October, was carried out anonymously by those acting in solidarity with The Happendon Wood Action Camp (THWAC), and in support of the residents of the Douglas Valley.
The sabotage was carried out as an act of resistance to Scottish Coal’s recently submitted proposals to begin open cast coal mining on a new site between the current Glentaggart and Mainshill mines and to begin work at two new sites in the area, including yet another extension to Broken Cross as well as in Auldton Hights, nearby Lesmahagow, South Lanarkshire.
No longer shall Scottish Coal and South Lanarkshire Council be allowed to continue their rape and pillage of the land. We refuse to stand by as they rip open the ground and gouge out its flesh for their profit and at the local communities detriment. We take this action as a statement of the fact that we will not see human greed create a world where the food is too posionous to eat, the water is too defiled to drink and the air is too polluted to breathe, whilst all around us the climate is thrown into chaos as the sky falls on our heads whilst the seas come up to our necks.
We believe that the death of Lambros Foundas by the uniformed murderers as well as the arrests of the six fighters for their participation or for their alleged participation in the Revolutionary Struggle, are integral facts of their historical-social frame. We consider them as the first and heavy losses in the new phase of growth of class war that has been signaled by the capitalistic crisis. We feel that Lambros did not simply leave one day of March, but fighting on the eve of a general strike, while the six arrested as well as all the imprisoned fighters, are missing from us in the streets in these important as well as difficult days that have come, these days where the subversive-liberating argument must and can be applied with new intensity and momentum.
The three comrades who took responsibility for the actions of Revolutionary Struggle show that fighting for what you believe in is not a task that only the “elite” can take on. Its in everyone that has suffered in the system that has been created to control us. The state knows they are the real terrorists and as long as no one is fighting back they have nothing to fear. Its time to show them enough is enough and attack it with all means available.

Alfie Fitzpatrick was given a 12 month sentence suspended for 2 years. Sarah Whitehead received 6 years. Nicole Vosper received 3 and a half years. Thomas Harris received 4 years.
