Ústí nad Labem: Communique + Video for arson of police car by ‘Proletarian Solidarity Cell / Network Revolutionary Cells’ (Czech Republic)

September 16th, 2014

DOWNLOAD FLV VIDEO: Police car burned

In solidarity with anarchist prisoners all over the world, in the morning of Saturday 30th August 2014, we made an arson attack on a police car, which stood in the street in front of the station Truhlářova in Ústí nad Labem. The event has become a fragment of a mosaic of solidarity activities during the International Week of Anarchist Prisoners. It was announced for 23 to 30 August 2014.

Francesco Puglisi, André Mazurek, Yiannis Dimitrakis, Olegovich Igor Kharchenko, Rebecca Rubin, Bill Dunne, Nikos Maziotis and many others, known and unknown. They were imprisoned for their anarchist attitudes and actions. Our arson attack against the police is a solidarity message sent to all of them. The communication of this direct action is simple. In the ongoing class war the State puts in jail the people when they actively resist. A good sign of solidarity with the imprisoned comrades is therefore continuing the resistance. In opposition to the same goals with the same means that our friends often chose before being placing in the cells of the State.

There is no doubt that the purpose of prison is not only isolation and the subjection of detainees. In a broader sense, it is their task to influence those who survive outside of a prison cell. They intimidate every resisting person and try to break his/her will to fight. Anarchist groups around the world show that to achieve this goal is virtually impossible. While the States imprison many anarchists, others -despite the risks- continue to practice rebellion. Our arson attack in Ústí nad Labem is a powerful reminder that suffocating our friends behind the prison walls will not smother our libertarian will to resist. On the contrary, every act of State repression against the anarchist movement recreates other rebellious passions. They manifest themselves in a variety of direct actions and will continue until all the comrades leave prison.

Interview with Helmut Pohl and Rolf Clemens Wagner of the Red Army Faction (Germany)

September 16th, 2014

The interview was conducted by Rüdiger Göbel, Peter Rau, Wera Tichter, and Gerd Schumann of jungle Welt, left newspaper in Germany, 2007. Long live the combative memory of Helmut Pohl and Rolf Clemens Wagner of the RAF. Never forget, never forgive.

junge Welt: The media has squeezed everything possible out of the 2007 anniversary of the “German Autumn.” The events of 1977 came to a bitter end. The way it is being depicted on TV, on the radio, and in the print media constitutes a sort of hysterical coming to terms with the Red Army Faction (RAF): The Stammheim Night (Spiegel), a series; The Terror Years (Die Zeit), a special issue; The Bourgeois Children’s War, a primetime ARD documentary. How do you feel about the way in which the RAF’s history is being handled, given that this history is an important, if not the essential, component of your personal biographies?

Helmut Pohl: It’s unpleasant. To be smashed over the head with this sort of campaign of defamation, caricature, and debasement is somewhat infuriating. It has concrete consequences for Christian[2], as well. Beyond that, it seems to me that the principal component of the campaign, the two-part Aust[3] documentary on ARD, bombed. It’s already been done to death. People don’t want to hear about it anymore.

jW: You’re talking about the fuss surrounding Christian Klar during the first three months of 2007. In the case of a prisoner who has been behind bars for 24 years, relaxed conditions with the possibility of a pardon and release seems appropriate. His admittedly partisan, but essentially analytical contribution to the junge Welt Rosa Luxemburg Conference in January,[4] which in no way encouraged violence, unleashed an anti-RAF and anti-Klar onslaught from politicians and the bourgeois media. What this made clear was that a prisoner’s right to express himself does not apply to Klar. In fact, it was turned into an exceptional case for the German justice system.

Rolf Clemens Wagner: In fact, this year, we’re experiencing two approaches to dealing with the RAF. One concerns Christian. Suddenly, the question of remorse for the victims of the RAF is central. A discussion about helping to “clarify” the actions has begun. Why now? I was pardoned a few years ago, and no one asked this of me. I did not have to show any remorse. There was no discussion of me having to help “clarify” the actions. Read the rest of this entry »

Announcement of relatives and friends of prisoners (Greece)

September 15th, 2014

Translated by Act for freedom now!

Announcement of relatives and friends of prisoners

We are the RELATIVES and FRIENDS OF PRISONERS. We who one day were violently deprived of the embrace, affection, protection, company the friendship of the people who the state has deprived of their freedom. We, because of the voting of the monstrosity called the law for high security prisons, decided to unite our forces, fighting with every possible means to support them.

Recognizing that historically no prison ever corrected anyone and believing in the complete abolition of this outdated institution, we stand in support to:

- All political prisoners, anarchists and communists.
- All penal prisoners who stand with militant dignity inside prison (not the snitches, smack dealers, cooperators of authority, members and preservers of circuits of violence).

Although factual support towards the prisoners can in the future gain, according to our forces, many forms, we begin with the following practices:

1. Publicizing laws and provisions which aim at the full attack of the state against the prisoners (law for C’type prisons etc.).
2. Following their judicial struggles (trials, transfers, release applications, hospitalizations) and publicizing every arbitrary method the judicial authority uses on them.
3. Condemning all sorts of arbitrariness of the correctional-police system and the general conditions of their detentions.
4. Intervening directly in matters concerning their health and the lack of elementary needs.

Every means and way of public projection and information will be used.

Rolf Clemens Wagner, a Life of Resistance (Germany)

September 15th, 2014

Former Red Army Faction member Rolf Clemens Wagner died on February 11, 2014.

Wagner had first become involved in underground armed politics in the aftermath of the RAF’s 1972 May Offensive in West Germany. Dozens of guerillas had been captured, and were being held in strict solitary confinement (in some cases, entire prison wings were emptied to isolate the political prisoners) and subjected to various forms of abuse. In the years following 1972, opposing the torture of solitary confinement would become a priority for a section of the revolutionary left, and when RAF prisoner Holger Meins died in a hunger strike in 1974, freeing prisoners by any means necessary was clearly on the agenda. As Wagner would later explain,

“In the period before 1977, freeing the comrades who were at risk was an absolute priority. They were being held in dead wings, and the first murders had already occurred: Holger Meins, Siegfried Hausner, and Ulrike Meinhof. The situation was extremely urgent. It was clear to us that freeing the prisoners was our most important and pressing objective. On the one hand, they faced a threat to their very existence, and on the other hand, we wanted them out.”

This is the context in which Wagner first went underground, joining a small group that had been established by Klaus Dorff, Waltraud Liewald, and Peter-Jürgen Boock, with plans to break RAF founder Andreas Baader out of prison. Read the rest of this entry »

Fire to Sodexo! Arson of company vehicle – Solidarity to Bernhard, Peter and Thomas of K.O.M.I.T.E.E. (Germany)

September 15th, 2014

From Actforfree, via an Italian translation by imprisoned eco-anarchist Marco Camenisch:

For almost 20 years company Sodexo has been the target of people like us, who are struggling against the racist and neo-colonialist system. It started in 1997, when Sodexo offered to take on catering and other services destined to refugees in the knowledge this would result in a huge turnover. Since then Sodexo has been internationally known as a company who became a big multinational operating in many countries under low cost management, i.e. by racially reducing human life to a question of figures.

After the justice sector was privatized in Great Britain, Sodexo took on the management of 5 prisons. In this case too, people without the status of citizens were put in the hands of private companies by the State in exchange of huge amounts of money. According to economy laws these companies gained total power in the exploitation of their resources. And they’ve been saving on human lives first and foremost (…)

Greetings to the rebels locked up in one of the British Sodexo jails, who rose up in March when 50 prisoners took control of an entire prison unit for a remarkable length of time, and to the group that gave us news of this and attacked the court of Yate with gas and petrol.

Actions against Sodexo were recently carried out also in this country: on 28/10/2013 and on 17/6/2014 unknown people set Sodexo vehicles on fire (1 and 2).

During a No-Border Camp in Brussels, a Sodexo building had all its windows smashed and another one was flooded with oil.

Following the abuses of those who want to govern migration in Berlin and elsewhere, we think it necessary to widen these practices of attack and at the same time to develop a strategy aimed at damaging the deportation machine well beyond symbolic gestures.

After the arrest of Bernhard of K.O.M.I.T.E.E., history is repeating itself and we all should take the occasion to gather new strength and knowledge. Here is our contribution in a beautiful night: we dedicate the arson of a Sodexo vehicle in Neukolln to Bernhard, Peter and Thomas, who almost managed to blow up a jail in Grunau 1995, following a string of deportations, and who had to go on the run until today; unfortunately Bernhard was arrested at the beginning of July 2014 in Venezuela and is awaiting extradition to Germany.

We agree with the communiqué issued by the comrades of the three, which we quote here: “What’s happening on the borders outside the EU every day, the super-armed Frontex apparatus, the inhuman conditions in German migrants’ detention camps and also the struggle of people living as clandestine demonstrate how courageous and visionary was the attempt of the comrades at putting an end to this practice of the system.”

It’s time we remembered the past: not only the K.O.M.I.T.E.E but also the Revolutionary Cells (RZ) who have given strong contributions to this struggle.

Let’s consider what has been done, let’s think of new things to do, new strategies for the struggle against state racism and exploitation. Let’s increase the pressure on the bosses and let’s make space to a new liberated world.

Fire to Sodexo and to all the exploiters in this world order that despises humanity. If people are dying it is our duty to act and to intensify the struggle against those who only care for profit and don’t give a shit of human lives.

Burning vehicles can only be small lights in the sky of resistance, many small stars form a constellation, all together they make a bright night.

Groups of Two or Three

September 15th, 2014

(From Die Lunte)

The north side of Paris consists of a large area of social housing. The old industrial area has gradually been compressed into the east side; in between, on the northeast side, the mansions and villas of the rich spread out.

The police guard the industrial works, the east side and the houses of the northeast. But they rarely dare to venture into the north side. There the night is dangerous. When the police do venture into the north side, it is at great risk and those who do so are not squeamish. If a youth does not stop when ordered to do so, a cop shoots, or if the youth is on foot, he will simply be run over by a patrol car.

Something happened, centered in the city quarter of Noisy-le Grand. Hundreds of people took to the streets, and not just young people but adults as well, and not just blacks. It was reported as several confrontations between the police and the people in revolt and a few burning cars. Then it was claimed that the situation had normalized.

But in the days that followed, completely different characteristics developed: people did not appear in the open on the street corners to demonstrate, but joined in the complicity of the night. They formed into groups of two or three people, hundreds of small groups for systematic attack. A high school was completely destroyed. Three occupational schools blazed. Hundreds of parked cars functioned as chains of light. A bank was attacked and destroyed with molotov cocktails. In the city center there were hardly any shop windows that were not destroyed or plundered. Fire extinguishers were demolished. Gas and water pipes were sabotaged and garbage cans were set ablaze.

‘Over the Walls of Nationalisms and Wars’ – Statement of participants of 8th Balkan Anarchist Bookfair (Bosnia & Herzegovina)

September 15th, 2014

It is clear that nationalism is a tool used against the exploited classes. In the Balkans, (especially in the region of ex-Yugoslavia) the rise of nationalist ideology in the 1990’s helped enable the brutal capitalist attack against society. It further atomized the population and destroyed established networks of cooperation and solidarity.

The need to confront nationalist ideology from a radical and anti-authoritarian perspective gathered us in Mostar on the 5th and 6th of September 2014, for the 8th Balkan Anarchist Bookfair. We came from Bosnia and Herzegovina, Croatia, Serbia, Slovenia, Albania, Romania, Greece and other countries outside the Balkan area.

The true nature of nationalism is nowhere more obvious then in Mostar, a city divided in two, with the signs of wartime brutality still evident in the streets of the city. Read the rest of this entry »

Squatted district Pandang Raya in Makassar is evicted after clashes (Indonesia)

September 12th, 2014

FR: Makassar (Indonésie): l’expulsion du quartier squatté de Pandang Raya n’aura pas eu lieu sans résistance…

NEWS:

Pandang Raya (Makassar) has been demolished to the ground. Friday 12 September, at 5 o’clock in the morning. Pandang Raya inhabitants and other rebels, build a barricade across the street with wood, tires, and rocks. At 6am, there’s appearance of pigs without uniform watching the blockade. Two of them watching the blockade close by. About an hour more, police vehicles filled with 600 pigs in uniform, including 365 the notorious Brimob (special police–my ass). Not long after that the battle began: Pandang Raya combatants throw molotovs, rocks, and other traditional weapon (such as arrows). The resistance were responded by huge blows of water canons and after that, large numbers of gangsters, who claimed that they got orders from Court of Law tried to entered the fights but were denied by the pigs because they don’t carry their ID’s. At 8.30 the pigs have successfully break the resistance. Other combatants have successfully fled from police arrest. But 9 person were arrested. Afterwards, several years of organizing side by side with anti-authoritarians, leftist, and other organisations; creating library and meeting place; in which Pandang Raya have already become their own ‘Cinema Paradiso’, have been destroyed to the ground entirely using big excavators and other heavy machines. The last stand and they were lost.

Ps: Rich people and their politicians, and also with their dogs or pigs in uniform, wanted Pandang Raya to be developed for their business purposes due to its strategic geographical location in the city.

In need of solidarity! Not money. Not banners.

But full frontal attacks of every political institution abroad and every fucking developer.

Let the fire rhyme!

The last stand and another battle is lost?
After Karawang and then Pandang Raya, which is next? Wait and see? More formal meetings? More worthless gossips and dead-end ideological subdivisions. An act of war is not negotiation. And how useless the so-called movement when this sort of thing comes.

More updates soon.

Attack against Greek consulate in Zürich (Switzerland)

September 11th, 2014

We attacked the Greek consulate in Zürich on September 8 as a delayed contribution to the international days of solidarity for anarchist prisoners. The official representation of the Greek state in Zürich was chosen for two reasons. First of all because Nikos Maziotis (militant of the Revolutionary Struggle) was recently arrested in Greece after a manhunt through Athens and after having being shot in the shoulder. This arrest follows a campaign by the state and the media in which Nikos and Pola Roupa have been declared as top fugitives and a huge bounty has been declared for their arrests. Despite him being arrested the media campaign aiming to negate his political identity continues. Read the rest of this entry »

12-hour riot after detainee dies at Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre (UK)

September 9th, 2014

From ABC Hurricane:

A brief spark of revolt was seen from those incarcerated in Morton Hall Immigration Removal Centre near Lincoln after a Bengali man, who had been in the prison only three days, died on September 5.

Disorder broke out at breakfast on September 6 and staff were forced to flee, withdrawing to a “place of safety”.

A ‘Tornado’ team, or ‘national tactical response group’, was called into the prison to quell the riot, which lasted all day.

Solidarity with prisoners in struggle everywhere!

-

NB: There have been many riots in UK immigration centres over the last 18 months, and the mainstream media are keeping the incidents from being widely known, whilst spreading intolerable racism against migrants and stirring up hateful nationalism. Business as usual…

A few words and pictures from the International Week of Solidarity for Anarchist Prisoners (Czech Republic)

September 8th, 2014

uprava I

Last week was the International Week of Anarchist Prisoners. Dozens of events from South America to the Far East. The anarchist collectives around the world in various ways tried to raise awareness of imprisoned comrades and fellow soldiers. And we, along with other groups and individuals supporting the Anarchist Black Cross tried to highlight this issue. And not only that. We have tried to express solidarity to our imprisoned friends and comrades with the intensification of correspondence (letters and sending packages). We put up hundreds of flyers and stickers. Held a public screening of a film about the fate of Sacco and Vanzetti, upgrading in cities, in prisons, courthouses and even a police station. In Ústí nad Labem, according to a communiqué signed by the group “Proletarian Solidarity” ‘a police car was damaged as symbolic support to imprisoned anarchists in the world’. Although the last week in August is unfortunately not optimal for broader mobilization, perhaps the International Week of Anarchist Prisoners served its purpose. It recalled the need for solidarity not only for imprisoned comrades and friends, but throughout the movement as such. Read the rest of this entry »

Action against the Spanish ambassador’s mansion in Quito (Ecuador)

September 8th, 2014

from contrainfo, transl. waronsociety:

In the early hours of Friday August 29, 2014 the ambassador of the Spanish state’s mansion walls in Quito were painted in solidarity with Mónica Caballero, Francisco Solar and the rest of the State’s prisoners. This action was framed inside of the International Week of Solidarity with anarchist prisoners. Although the damage was not much and due to logistical problems the actions was not carried out in all of its splendor, any attack against the State’s institutions and its representatives should be celebrated. The same night the Israeli embassy was attacked as well, tearing down its dirty flag in support of the Palestinian people and the “Anarchists against the wall” organization.

Their mansions will be converted into their gallows, our prisons into their death sentences. From the city of Quito all support and solidarity with imprisoned compas.

Long live the vandal nights!
Long live the insurrection!

First communique of Reacción Salvaje / Wild Reaction – RS (Mexico)

September 8th, 2014

from contrainfo, transl wos:

First communique.
Cuernavaca, Morelos
August 14, 2014

“The people who are pushing all this garbage of development and technological progress should be severely punished.”

- F. [a]

After a little more than three years of criminal-terrorist activity, the group “Individualists Tending toward the Wild” (ITS), begins a new phase in this open war against the Technoindustrial System, which we explain below:

I

First of all, we want to explain that during all of 2012 and 2013, various groups of a terrorist and sabotage stripe were uniting themselves with the group ITS, so that now, after a long silence and for purely strategic reasons, we publicly claim:

1) The “Informal Anti-civilization Group,” which on June 29, 2011, took responsibility for the explosion that severely damaged a Santander bank in the city of Tultitlan, Mexico.

2) “Uncivilized Autonomous,” who on October 16, 2011 set off a bomb inside the ATMs of a Banamex, located between the cities of Tultitlan and Coacalco in Mexico State.

3) “Informal Circle of Antagonistic Individualists,” who in September 2009 set several wild horses free from a farm in Aguascalientes.

4) “Wild Indomitables,” who on October 16, 2011 left a butane gas bomb that did not detonate in a Santander bank in the Álvaro Obregón district of Mexico City. The act was never claimed until now.

5) “Terrorist Cells for the Direct Attack – Anti-civilization Fraction,” which in 2010 and 2011 left a fake bomb in front of the IFaB (Pharmacological and Biopharmeceutical Research), and detonated an explosive outside the building of the National Ecology Institute (INE), both in the Tlalpan district of Mexico City.

6) “Luddites against the Domestication of Wild Nature,” who during 2009 to 2011 had taken part in various incendiary attacks in some cities in Mexico State and various districts of Mexico City, claimed or unclaimed.

7) “NS – Fera – Kamala y Amala” which on December 9, 2011, left an explosive package addressed to the director of the National Institute of Psychiatry “Ramón de la Fuente” in the Tlalpan district, Mexico City. It was deactivated by the police bomb squad. On the 15th of this month, the same group warned through email of the presence of a car bomb in the institution’s parking lot, which, although it was a false warning, created terror among the officials of that center of mental alienation.

8 ) “Earth Liberation Front – Bajío”, which on November 16, 2011 set off an explosive charge creating damages within the ATM area of a branch of the Federal Electricity Commission (CFE) in the city of Irapuato in Guanajuato.

Likewise, during this year, 2014, two more terroristic groups have united with us who have put the development of the Technoindustrial System in their sights, we refer to: Read the rest of this entry »

Black Block of Iran and the Anarchist Network – Solidarity Statement in support of all Kurdish people and their struggle for freedom

September 8th, 2014

We, as a part of Farsi speaking anarchists, strongly convey our solidarity with you and express our extreme anger towards the injustice happening to your children, women and men for the profit of Capital, the occupiers, war criminals and all those of the rule of tyranny.

We anarchists, believe the rights of Kurds and Palestinians are so integral to each other that they should be recognised as one.

Imperialists in all shapes and forms, hand in hand with the Islamic regime of Iran, are ruining the life of innocent people of this planet on regional levels and on a global scale.

Western rulers on one hand are declaring they are fighting against Islamization, on the other hand, instead of providing Muslim residents with free and universal education, are building more and more mosques that do not free them from ignorance.

Let us expose these dirty tricks of Western rulers from every layer of Western society, including among Western leftists.

Ignorance of these leftists distracts the world from the real catastrophe, truths and all the other terrifying things happening in the Middle East, and has turned the majority of activists into dysfunctional forces in Europe, US, Canada, Australia and other countries.

Worse still, the activism of the left has turned into a work “against” Middle Eastern people, who end up recruiting for a supernumerary army of Hamas, Lebanese Hezbollah and the criminal Islamic regime of Iran, in mass rallies organised by bloody mosques in Europe and elsewhere under the name of supporting the Palestinian cause. Widespread Arrests of Anarchists & Radical Left Activists In Egypt

September 7th, 2014

Dear Friends

With the last contact we had with Egyptian Anarchists, they are in an emergency situation.

Fascist military regime of Al Sisi / Mubarak more aggressively seeking to arrest all anarchists and any other radical left activists.

According to the fascist government’s newspaper, more than 41,000 people have been arrested. Among them there are: “Alaa Abdel Alfatah” very well known blogger, and “Mahienour El-Massry“, a great woman human rights activist, women’s and workers’ rights activist, and also a Progressive lawyer and campaigner against class society.

These huge numbers of arrest has happened within less than one year!! It was between July 2013 and May 2014.

Repressive military regime continues to arrest all anarchists and any other radical left activists, who were involved in organising any kind of rallies or actions against fascist/military regime, who is supported by CIA-Zionism and other bloody
Western powers.

The intensity of the past few days has subsequently put so much pressure into the life of our dear comrades, so that the rest of them have been forced to live hidden and going underground.

We Middle Eastern anarchists are asking for any kind of support and solidarity, even if it is only a wide spread of these news.

Down with military rule of Al Sisi / Mubarak.

!! Abolish the reactionary forces of all religious organizations and religious rulers

!! Destroy all the power of warmongers, including CIA/USA, Zionism, Western powers, Russia and China

For a Free Egypt, Free Middle East and a Free World

Responsibility claim for the burning of police vehicles in Keynsham by ‘Uncivil Disobedients / FAI’ (UK)

September 6th, 2014

From the midst of the terror-fervor, the advance of the surveillance state, and display of force by the law.

This is to report incendiary action bringing life to our hatred for the police, inkeeping with our wider effort for the eradication of authority and it’s civilisation and with not a step back before repression which fails to inhibit us…

It took place in Keynsham (on 3rd September) at the police-station where a fleet of support group vans and other marked force vehicles are kept close to the ring-road which skirts Bristol. We rigged all three mobile-CCTV vans at their charging station inside the perimeter to the side of the cop-den with short fuses, then more fuel in containers was primed to incinerate an extra riot squad minibus parked to the front after we’d left the area. When the fires were detected, the riot bus and at least one of the camera vans were already burnt. According to the media an individual was arrested shortly after, who they are probably even now dimly realising they have no evidence to charge because we alone are responsible for the blaze under their snouts.

The police-station is situated close to the massive Keynsham Police Centre due to now open which is also to assimilate the functions of the old Bath and Radstock stations as part of a newly-constructed series of the force’s multi-purpose detention suites, crime investigation centres, an operations base and the tri-force firearms facility which was burned down by the hands of anarchists one year ago.
