A CONVERSATION BETWEEN ANARCHISTS
What follows is a conversation between the imprisoned members of the CCF and a number of anarchists from Mexico. The questions are asked by various comrades of the country, not only by those of the editorial group Conspiración Ácrata. We thank the comrades who helped us with the huge job of translation from Greek into Spanish, and the comrades who helped us in making the conversation with the imprisoned comrades possible. Solidarity greetings to all of them and to our comrades of the CCF!
This dialogue came out for the first time in May 2012, in Spanish, in the Mexican anarchist magazine Conspiración Ácrata.

Greece: 1st session of the fourth trial for the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire case – Athens

5th April 2013: 4th trial for the Conspiracy Cells of Fire case.
One more trial for the actions of the CCF began at Koridallos prisons.
Besides the members of the Conspiracy accused in the same case are also Dimitris Politis, Giannis Mihailidis, Giorgos Karagiannidis, Alexandros Mitrousias, Kostas Sakkas and Stella Antoniou (who are also accused in the third trial which is taking place as well) and Kostandina Karakatsani and Panagiotis Masouras.
Theofilos Mavropoulos read a common statement of the now ten members of the CCF, after which all members of the organization left the room.
“As I have stated in a previous court and in older public texts, I have been next to the comrades of the CCF as a solidarian anarchist, without however being a member of the Conspiracy. From the first moment of my arrest after the shoot out with the cops in Pefki, the comrades of the Conspiracy stood next to me like brothers. Inside prison we shared common worries, tensions and forged our steel passion for liberation through our common escape attempt in December 2011. Today for me the CCF is an inseparable piece of my thought, my desires and my personal mutiny for anarchy.
This is why as of today, here in your court, I state that I join the CCF and share together with the imprisoned and non arrested members the endless course to the anarchist insurrection. Participating now in the Conspiracy, I will read a collective statement for this trial. All of us, the members of the CCF, want to clarify some things.
In this trial, besides us who have taken the responsibility for our participation and support of the Conspiracy, all other accused do not have, neither have any relation with the charges attributed to them.
They never were, neither could ever be members of the Conspiracy.
An ocean of disagreements, perceptions and choices divides us…
The CCF and FAI is an international network of anarchists of praxis
who stand against the enemy with the certainty of those who play it all or nothing and refuse the proof of innocence and legal mitigations.
The Conspiracy and the Informal Anarchist Federation through their hundreds of attacks express the black anarchy which sets fire to the silence of the many and cowardice of the reformists.
All the charges in your indictments are a piece of the anarchist history and the armed course of the Conspiracy through the social desert of mass subjugation.
It is our compass in the unmapped unknown of the anarchist insurrection.
It is the unique moment where theory meets practice.
It is there where the law dies and anarchy is born.
It is there where the sounds of the explosions and the gun shots break the calmness of the crowd.
These moments are our moments. These history is our history.
A history which cannot be put on trial, neither finishes inside the court room.
We are the gasoline, the gun powder, the detonator, the bullet, the gun.
The only thing you will get from us is war.
The Conspiracy is, was, itself.
This is our Anarchy”.
G.Mihailidis read a common statement of his and D.Politis and then left the procedure.
“Give us a copy”, asked the chairman, “this statement is not for you”, answered D.Politis, while the cops were cuffing them.
The statement:
“We state that: We refuse to participate in the procedure of the court, not only because it is a mean of the state to demean and bend the anarchist struggle, not only because its function aims at the respite of anarchist action,but mainly because we do not recognize any institutional representative of the bourgeois democracy to judge people.
As anarchist revolutionaries we stand hostile against the bourgeios justice which sends people to the rot of imprisonment in order to defend the criminal lawful order of capitalism. Also, we support the anarchist revolutionary war in every of its forms.
We are part of the violent and guerilla action and will defend it as an inseparable part of the struggle.”
The trial continued on April 15th.

“As I’ve already stated during the previous trial and in the texts I’ve released over time, I stood beside my comrades in the Fire Cells Conspiracy as anarchist in solidarity, but without being a member of the Conspiracy.
From the first moment of my arrest, after exchanging gunshots with the pigs in Pefki, my comrades in the Conspiracy stood beside me as brothers and sisters. Inside prison, we have shared concerns, anxieties, and tensions. We forged our passion from steel—a passion for freedom—after the escape we attempted together in December 2011.
For me, right now the Fire Cells Conspiracy is already an inseparable part of my thinking, my desires, and my personal rebellion for anarchy. Therefore, here in these courts of yours, I declare that as of today I am joining the Fire Cells Conspiracy, and I share the endless path of anarchist insurrection together with the imprisoned members and those who haven’t been arrested….”

Greece: C.C.F. TRIAL UPDATE – Athens

Session 34, March 21st.
In this session appeared again the head of the Anti-terrorist force who had organized most of the oppressive operations against the CCF. At some point of his testimony he mentioned there are publications which target him and members of his family, this is why he asked for the trial minutes in order to file lawsuits. Also, he mentioned once more that the CCF is a network of autonomous cells of direct action. More specifically he said that each cell can consist of 4-5 people, while he referred to a recent hit (the blowing up of an atm in order to expropriate it), the responsibility of which was claimed by the cell of FAI “lone wolf”.
Session 35, March 22nd.
In this session the head of the anti-terrorists testified about the arrests in Pireus, Nea smirni and Kallithea, about weapons and explosives.
Session 36, March 27th.
In this session continued the testimony of the head of the anti-terrorist concerning the weapons and explosives found in Nea Smirni and the arrests which took place there, in Pireus and in Kallithea. At some point he even mentioned in the court that the minister of protection of the citizen (public order) was informed of he operation by the anti-terrorists, and it was he who gave the order for the arrests. The head of the anti-terrorists also confirmed that during the first oppressive operation against the CCF (halandri case 2009) an arrest warrant had gone out for a non-existing person, a fact that proves the witch-hunt set up against people who had nothing to do with the CCF. Besides, in the frames of the arrests that took place for the CCF, not only the comrades of the Conspiracy have been arrested but also dozens of irrelevant people.
Session 37, March 29th.
In this session the comrades of the Conspiracy did not appear in the court and sent a statement in which they refused to appear as a minimal act of reaction to the military style raid of the EKAM (special forces) the night before in the cells of Koridallos prisons. We must point out here that the night before there was a raid by the armed EKAM in the prisons and more specifically in the 1st wing where the comrades of the Conspiracy are being held. All cells were open and cops came in with their bulletproof shield and pointing their guns, led the prisoners out in the hall with their hands over their heads and then cuffed them. The hooded ones of the EKAM showed special treatment to the comrades of the Conspiracy, who they separated from the other prisoners and held alone. Also, the search in the cells of the CCF was done by the EKAM, contrary to the others who were searched by regular prison guards.
The next day (the day of the court) the comrades together with the other prisoners refused to return to their cells in the afternoon as a reaction to the cops raid. The continuous raids being carried out in the prisons are because of the noise caused by the recent escape of the 11 from Trikala prisons. Also, about a month ago the Media had made an extensive report about escape plans with a helicopter, which according to the journalists was being organized by the members of the CCF from inside prison.

We speak through fire. To remember and always keep on our mind, our sisters and brothers who are kidnapped by the state and seized behind bars. To continue the urban guerrilla warfare against enemies of freedom. Let the action speak for us.
On March 31, we burned down 3 buildings owned by the Major of Aceh Tamiang, Hamdan Sati. This is our first action done in Aceh, a region where religious fundamentalists in the past threw 64 punks into a rehabilitation camp and made them ‘normal’. But, we want to clarify that we aren’t Acehnese. We have no citizenship because we are borderless. We are the angry ones who light the fire of freedom.
Solidarity to the imprisoned members of CCF and Th. Mavropoulos, Camenisch, da Silva and Italian comrades arrested during the Ardire, Thor, and Mangifuoco operations and to Cospito and Gai. And last but not least, we salute our fire to comrades of Kozani 4 who were recently arrested.

Dear comrades, your letter gave me strength and joy. I have many things to say but I will limit myself to a few of those. The role of the comrades held hostage cannot be but that of analysis, the supplying of the comrades outside the walls with further tools. Beyond the obvious of insurrection and non-subjugation inside the prisons, the struggle continues, and you gave us an example with your resistance. Communication cannot but be carried out through action and this is why we do not have to assign it in some way to the professionals of speech. It is vital, of course, that the news and ideas go around the world. It is necessary however that we avoid in any way the transformation into bureaucracy of a procedure that must remain free from the elite of those who specialize in information. The ability of planning must be the fruit of the action of comrades outside the wall and the analysis of the hostage comrades.
The public dialogue which will take place in Thessaloniki in the frames of counter-information is important, and I am sure that during your intervention you will mention my objection. (more…)

Athens: Update on the health condition of CCF member Panagiotis Argirou (Greece)

On Monday, March 11th, anarchist comrade and Conspiracy of Cells of Fire member Panagiotis Argirou was transferred from the general hospital of Nikaia back to Koridallos prison’s hospital. His transfer was made after the state of his health was much improved.
Panagiotis has now fully recovered from his serious injury and talked with his comrades on the phone. He will remain in the hospital of Koridallos prison until several mobility problems are restored, that were caused due to his two-month hospitalization and the length of time he was under sedative medication. For now, he is recovering and ‘shares’ the same cell with his friend Spyros Dravilas, who is also recovering there after his successful hunger strike.
We know we haven’t provided updates on the health condition of Panagiotis for a long time, but this was not done by chance: each time we released positive news on the comrade’s health, the anti-terrorist force and the external armed guards that had undertaken his custody pressured the hospital staff to permit Panagiotis’ immediate transfer to the prison for ‘security reasons’ (his file bore the indication ‘Dangerous to escape’).
A big thank you to all the comrades and friends who were interested in Panagiotis, who sent letters, donated blood, and supported the R.O. Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. Finally, a flaming hug to the brothers and sisters of the Argirou Cell/International Conspiracy for Revenge/FRI-FAI from Indonesia, as well as the Panagiotis Argirou insurrectionary anti-authoritarian cell/FAI-FRI from Chile, who made solidarity among anarchists praxis through their incendiary attacks.

Jakarta: Claim of responsibility for shopping area arson by Anger Unit / ICR-FAI-IRF (Indonesia)

There is no reason to step back. War continues as always and must be more violent each and every time. All of the infrastructures of the society are our targets and there are no excuses to let one still stand against the beautiful sky. All the buildings are the walls against our sight to see the stars, the same stars which our imprisoned and guerrilla comrades in other part of the world are also seeing.
Through the fire, we want to send our warmest greetings to the knights warriors around the globe who still carry on attacks as our revolutionary way. To the brave and dignified prisoners who kept their head up against the misery and cowardice of ‘reformist’ anarchists.
Last night (Friday, 22 February), we burned down another property of Society. We placed an incendiary of fire in the middle-class shopping areas in North Jakarta. We burn the shops as our sample and to once again call the individuals to create their own attacks –especially in Indonesia and South East Asia. We showed through practice that each individual can bring their anger into fire and gasoline without the specializations of elite units. We are not vanguards or the messiah to save the Society. We are the angry individuals who only want to burn down Society.
Only cowards –even self-proclaimed as anarchists– who only see the fire is rising and covering the sky with dark smokes and doing nothing. Cowards are the integral parts of the Society who are always waiting for the ‘right moments’ and trying to keep their life in the comfort zones. And we point out the cowards as our enemies and we will hunt you down also. In the future, we will not feel sorry if in our actions to attack Society, we are risking the life of someone.
From now, we will limit our revolutionary greetings to the comrades who in our judgements are revolutionary. We will not let our fire warm the ‘innocent’, ‘reformist’, ‘pacifist’, ‘formal and pro-judicial anarchists’, ‘facebook anarchists’ and other cowards. Our actions always are only for ourselves and our individualistic values and for the revolutionary comrades.
And through the fire, we send our love to the imprisoned comrades: Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the 4 anarchists who are recently accused for double robbery in Greece, Alfredo and Nicola and other comrades who accused in Operation Thor, Ixodae, Mangifuoco, and similar repressions in Italy, to Gabriel Pombo da Silva and to Marco Camenisch, to Marcelo, Juan, Fredy, Ivan & Carla in Chile, to Henry in Bolivia, to injured one Tripa Lopez in Mexico, to Tukijo and to the insurrectionary prisoners behind state bars who always kept their dignity and revolutionary values. We also want to send our love to the comrades on the run: Felicity, Hans and others. Keep running and do not let the enemies catch you.
Love and revolutionary greetings to the individuals, cells and groups of Informal Anarchist Federation – International Revolutionary Front. Let’s surround Society with our fires.

If we speak, we speak because we do not abandon the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire in the cesspool of state propaganda. For the robbery in Kozani, the exclusivity is held by the arrestees themselves, who are not members of the Conspiracy. Besides, the conspiracy was not “hit” by these arrests and our perceptions as well as our cells remain unscathed…
However, because the state mechanism of propaganda is constantly referring to the Conspiracy, we clarify our position. Anarchist urban guerrillas are not “good kids”, neither do have the need to be defended by the hypocrites of humanism and the contractors of leftist sensitivity.
Anarchist urban guerrillas abandon the role of the victim in order to take positions as offenders against this passive silence of society.
We know that anarchist violence against the regime is the only way to liberation. Those who hesitate to arm themselves, will be proven too cowardly to live with dignity. Far from the humanistic rhetoric and crocodile tears over the beaten faces of the arrestees, specific choices were hit. The choice of robbing a bank aiming at the support of illegal aformalistic anarchist cells was, is and will be an anarchist practice.
In the war against the state and its society you do not ask for mercy from the enemy. Anarchists of praxis do not respect any bourgeois legality. The matter is not for someone to speak of police arbitrariness, but to attack first, here and now. Besides, life will always belong to one kind of people, the people of action.

30.1.13 The comrade has shown slow but steady signs of improvement. He remains in the intensive care unit but for now a limited written communication with him is possible. The hospital infection of his respiratory system can be dealt with and does not especially worry the doctors. There will be more updates for anything new.

On 15th January the doctors stopped giving to Panagiotis Argirou anesthetic medicines that kept him sedated. His communication is not full yet but the first reactions he had are quite encouraging about the procedure of his health.
The two people that were recently arrested for participation in CCF were not imprisoned because there was nothing to charge them for, but they probably will go on trial with the charges of participation in CCF and possession of guns.

Last night [10/1/13], we did it once again. Direct action based on our revolutionary values, as nihilists, as individualists and as an expression of the hatred of this society. Covered by the night, we burned a private car in Tomohon (small city in North Sulawesi), owned by an unknown person. It was a car located near the local TV station in that town. A car as a symbol of slavery, eco-disaster and the meaninglessness of life.
We believe, through direct action each revolutionary can speak, even separated by continents and nation-state borders. We believe that revolutionary actions speak loud and reach our sisters and brothers in the Informal Anarchist Federation – International Revolutionary Front.
We dedicate our action to our brother in arms, Panagiotis Argirou, –revolutionary and proud member of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire– who fell down and has to face surgery. When we heard this news, it hurt our heart. We burned a car to send our warmest revolutionary greetings to you, comrade. To let our enemies know that no revolutionary will be left alone. Strength brother! Fire of health for you.
To other members of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and revolutionary anarchist, T. Mavropoulos: all of you are never alone. Our actions are also your revenge.
Not to forget to mention our brothers in Italy who are kidnapped by the state and are seized behind bars. To Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai. Our hearts always with both of you.
We also want to send our revolutionary greetings to Villa Amalias and all the free spaces that are invaded by our enemies. To all squatters who are kidnapped by pigs of the state. Your bravery inspires us to keep our heads up. ‘Fire’ is how we spell solidarity.

As soon as the chairwoman completed the reading of the names of the accused (during which the members of the CCF, wanting to demean the procedure, refused to reply) the comrades of the Conspiracy interrupted the procedure, and one of the members made the following statement:
“All these days we listened to lawyers and prosecutors quoting legal arguments on the matter of the ‘political trial’. We listened to a language foreign to us, because we are not lawful, we are anarchist urban guerrillas. This is why we will speak in our own language. The CCF is an armed, insurrectionist, anarchist guerrilla group. Its action was, is and will be subversive. This is self-evident, and it can be seen even in the language used against us by the enemy. You established just for us special legislation, special procedures, special detainment conditions, special courts, like this one here. The indictment itself, which you wrote up, says that we threatened the political, social and economic structures of the state. But, in the decision that you will come to -or rather the decision your superiors gave you to transfer to us- you will say that the Conspiracy is not an anarchist guerrilla group. (more…)

Update on the trial of the C.C.F.
Sessions 9, 10, 11, 12, 13 , 14, and 15 , 2012
In these sessions most lawyers completed their speeches concerning the objections but also the proposition made by the prosecutor during the 12th session.
On 3/12 /12 (session 11) one of the comrades of the Conspiracy made a statement after the speech of one of the appointed lawyers and said the following:
“I want to clarify some things. First of all, I very carefully heard the speech of the advocate and despite that we come from two different spaces, as he said, since we have chosen the path of anarchist illegal insurrection and he has chosen the path of legality, I really appreciate some things which he said and I really see that he worked a lot on approaching the core of the thought of our organization, the CCF. And in many thing he said, although I am no legal expert and not only that, but I demean the laws, I recognize the approach he made and I have no disagreement concerning that. But, I want to make a clarification for some things that remain. I want to clarify something in the name of our organization, the CCF, because something was said in relation to the R.O 17 November organization. It is not a reproach to the advocate. Besides, he clarified that what he said is his own personal opinion, perception, idea.
But because nothing should remain unanswered, flawed and meteor in this procedure, we must stress the following.
With the R.O. 17N -and I stress the words, because it was a Revolutionary Organization- we clearly have some differences concerning our perceptive field or our ideas in some individual matters, but these matters do not concern the court, neither are they matters for a juridical room. With these people who took the political responsibility and remain unrepentant -because there are unrepentant 17N members- connects us a friendship and comradeship. Therefore, we will clarify that the CCF, although coming from the anarchist urban guerrilla and has no connection with the Marxist structures, despite all this sees, and feels immediate affinity with comrades such as those of the 17N. And I want to stress something else, because a reference to homicide was heard. I think homicide, not concerning its potential evaluation, but also on how much the meaning of homicide, which I translate into the meaning of political execution, applies by armed revolutionary organizations in Greece -the 17N and the Sect of Revolutionaries and other organization- it is a part which we absolutely adopt, because it is a means of struggle of the anarchist armed action. Life on its own is not dignity on its own. Life is a value based on the choices made by everyone. Thus, whichever comrades chose to arm themselves and expose themselves by executing officers of authority, we are next to them. It is a choice adopted by the CCF as well. I want this to be stated and remain about the perception the CCF has”.
Most members of the CCF do not appear in the court room refusing to “impersonate” the role of the accused. As they have explained in a previous session they will appear in pairs exclusively in order to intervene in case some witness or judge tries to slander the CCF. Anyway, as stated by the comrades, as anarchists of praxis they do not respect any state justice and do not recognize any law which will try them.
Tuesday 18/12
Before the 15th session began there was tension in the court room between the cops and members of the CCF. Specifically, when the comrades of the CCF went to greet their friends and family in the court room the cops formed a “human” wall blocking any communication. At one point a cop pushed the friend of a comrade resulting in the intensification of the situation. Immediately the comrades the members of the CCF moved towards him pushing him and swearing him while one of them spit a piece of gum in his face. The rest of the cops tried to disengage their colleague and in the end let the friends and family to greet the comrades of the Conspiracy.
In the legal part of the trial the speeches of the lawyers concerned the objections.

Athens: Anarchist comrade of CCF member Panagiotis Argirou reportedly injured in Koridallos prison and hospitalized
After conversation with a relative of anarchist Panagiotis Argirou, solidarians reported that the comrade fell out of the bunk bed at night, on January 1st, and gradually began to lose consciousness. He was evacuated from Koridallos prisons to Tzaneio hospital in Piraeus, and he might need to be admitted to another hospital soon. His injury appears to be quite severe, with bruises on the head.
The comrade has already been operated on the head last night 2/1/12 and had a hematoma removed.
He will remain in an induced coma until the end of the week because his situation is considered critical.

On Wednesday, June 27, at dawn, we attacked the headquarters of Microsoft with a vehicle-bomb. We drove through the main entrance and detonated the bomb van in the building, with about 150 litres of gasoline as a gift. Throughout the course of the operation the team ensured that no one would be in any danger, and, contrary to the assertions of several newspapers, they did not use firearms to immobilize the security personnel. It was an act of war against the widespread insidious silence and captivity generated by this modern world.

Growing up and wasting time and every minute of our lives in the great prison, in the city where they suffocate million people with anxiety and stress. It’s crazy and nonsense that so many people are crammed like zombies, like canned sardines in the giant cities. In factories, in their jobs, in artificial parks, in front of televisions, in the ranks of the unemployment offices, at checkouts. To have and to blackmail.
The rates here are predatory, blackmailing dilemmas, more suffocating than ever; psychiatric drugs
off-the-shelf and anti-depressants cure every patient of the modern lifestyle.
Asylums, psychiatrists and psychologists, prisons, are they not cages like the filthy flats and apartment blocks, who in their own cannibalistic way, imprison human emotion, vitality and energy?
Are not the crowded malls, noisy streets and the constant drone of horns of those who are rushing to gain a minute and get faster to work, school or important meetings?

Lastly, but not least, the call for an International Direct Action Week in solidarity with the always unyielding Mario Antonio López ‘Tripa’ from the 15th to the 22nd of December by the Anticivilization Fraction of the Earth Liberation Front in Mexico.
