A poem by the inmates from the 2nd wing of Larissa men’s prisons dedicated to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas, the little son of two members of Revolutionary Struggle (Greece)

Wednesday, July 25th, 2012

Tuesday, July 24th, 2012
For Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas’ birthday

Born behind prison bars, the visible ones, that hide the heavens

The human guards, the cops and crows, the patrons of quiet sleep were the midwife of yours

You celebrated your first birthday with the shadows cast by steel barriers…

Bourgeois democracy is so merciful…

Now it’s your second birthday, the starlight you’d never seen until now

With the horizon ahead of you extending to infinity

With dogs barking from afar

We wish you ardent years, seas resounding in your ears, thunders singing lullabies to you

The tide coming in and erasing your footsteps, on the sand…

With respect and love to those who did not regret what they ever dared to do
Honour and remembrance forever for Lambros Foundas

This goes out to Nikos, Pola and very young Lambros-Viktoras

The prison inmates of the 2nd wing of Larissa

-

Happy Birthday and life’s freedom to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas from 325. Strength, warmth and respect to Nikos and Pola. Honour to the memory of Lambros Foundas, member of Revolutionary Struggle. Solidarity to those accused and on trial for the same case.

Lublin: Solidarity action for political prisoners (Poland)

Thursday, April 5th, 2012

325 receives and transmits:

In the last days of March, we attacked with paint three ATM’s, each belonging to another bank. The growing climate of state repression, must meet with our overwhelming response. An uncompromising attack of capital, taking away from us the remaining social gains, can no longer remain unanswered.

Violence is an integral part of our lives, concealed behind a mask of abstract social relations. Pushed to the ghettos of poverty, filling the prison cells, reside in the slums of third world. We have no illusions about it. We will come from darkness of the night and attack state and capitalist targets, every time more violently and with a stronger belief in the rightness of our actions.

We also address our words to those who are staying on the moderate positions, trying to censor different concepts of fight. Our dreams remain illegal, WE remain illegal. There is no place for us in capitalist machine. We don’t find ourselves on another miserable demonstration. We don’t make long-term political plans. We don’t ask the chiefs and rulers for small compromises. We want immediate change, looking for each other, creating cells capable to provide adequate answer to our daily humiliations.

We dedicate this symbolic action to prosecuted fighters of the Revolutionary Struggle and the Conspiracy of Cells Of Fire. Comrade Tortuga, who remains in dungeons of Chilean state. Eat and Billy, captive by the Indonesian State. Stella Antoniou, facing health problems, and all political prisoners from around the world.

Honour to comrade Lambros Foundas, who fell dead, by cops’ bullets.

Athens: Day of remembrance and honour for Lambros Foundas (Greece)

Wednesday, March 14th, 2012

From the multi-language anti-info project based in Athens – Contra Info:

Two years after the murder of the anarchist comrade Lambros Foundas, a march of remembrance and struggle took place on Saturday, March 10th, 2012 [here 1, 2 are some photos from the demo on March 2010].

By 12.00 the PA’s gathering began in Monastiraki Square, which lasted approximately an hour, before nearly 1,000 people started to march through central streets of Athens (Athinas Street, Omonia Square, Stadiou Street, Syntagma, Amalias Avenue, Othonos Street, Panepistimiou Street, Propylaea), often attracting the interest of passersby. Numerous police units were present during the entire demo route, while organizers of the demo provided for its essential “safeguarding”.

Brochures with the political declarations of the comrades who stand trial for the Revolutionary Struggle case were distributed, while flyers, graffiti and stencils covered the streets and the walls downtown. At the head of the demo there were two banners reading “Solidarity with all those prosecuted for the Revolutionary Struggle case” and “Lambros is alive within our struggles for Social Revolution”.

Many slogans — new and older ones — were chanted such as “Revolutionary Struggle against the Capital and capitalism”, “Lambros is alive within the heart of every revolutionary”, “Terrorism is to look for a job; no peace with the bosses”, “Honour forever to Lambros Foundas”, “Freedom for all prisoners”, “Neither criminal nor political prisoners; set fire to all prisons”, “The State and the Capital are the only terrorists; solidarity with the armed guerrillas”, “People, take up arms; now or never”, “People, you’re starving; why do you kneel down in front of them? People, you’re starving, why don’t you hang them?” (outside the central market Varvakios Agora), “Let Kaminis’ house turn into ashes” (outside the city hall), “The February 12th was only the beginning; forward for a worldwide uprising”, “The February 12th was not enough; next time the parliament must fall”, “Freedom for the members of Revolutionary Struggle; ax and fire for the state guard dogs”, “Cops, KKE [Greek "Communist" Party], neo-Nazis, all scum work hand in hand”, “Praying won’t change the world; let’s expropriate all churches”, “Freedom to Stella Antoniou”. Also, a slogan was chanted in Italian, “Anarchia, Destabilizzazione, Azione Diretta, Inzurrezione” (anarchy, destabilization, direct action, insurrection). At around 15.00 the anarchist demo ended at Propylaea, while many protesters continued to march to Exarchia.

Video from the gathering on March 20th, 2010, in Dafni, in honour of Lambros Foundas and all fighters who died from the hands of the State

We’ll meet again one day

You left with your head held high, the same way as you came,
the same way I met you, as always.
I envy you.
- What is death?
- It’s like total darkness, with time you‘re getting used to
and it does not bother you anymore-.
And you left us behind,
with our remorse and our guilt
and our misery and our doubts,
to find excuses so that we get by,
another day,
and another day
and another day.
I envy you.
Cause you are ok, you’re always ok.
I need you.
To show me what dignity means,
to show me not to fear,
to show me not to compromise.
I need you next to me in the streets and in my way.
And to talk, to talk to me.
And to listen, to hear me.
So I can steal a bit of power from your truth,
a bit of courage from your freedom
a bit of faith from your values.
They say you are a terrorist.
It is true. You are terrorizing our fear, our comfort, our false appearance, our apathy, our empty gaze, our diminished libido, us getting used to the ugliness, our muzzle, our blinders, our handcuffs, the chains that prevent us from becoming dangerous.
There’s something we need to discuss.
Some say they choose not to act because they fear for their petty life. They say they love their life.
Others choose to act for exactly the same reason.
The say they love their life and cannot tolerate their life being wasted.
Tell me, can they both be right?
They can’t.

VENCEREMOS

To the comrade and friend that walked away from this life with his head held high on this day, exactly two years ago.

Sydney: Anarchists vandalise Beirut Hellenic Bank in solidarity with Lambros Foundas (Australia)

Tuesday, March 13th, 2012

10 March 2012

In the early hours of the 10th of March, exactly two years since Lambros Foundas was gunned down by uniformed pigs in the street of Athens, some anarchist vandals targeted the Marrickville branch of the Beirut Hellenic Bank.

We sprayed “BURN BANKS” “FOR LAMBROS” “FOR SOCIAL REVOLUTION” on the windows of the bank, put superglue in the ATM card slots and covered the screens with paint.

This minor act of sabotage was carried out in memory of Lambros, an anarchist, social fighter and member of Revolutionary Struggle. He lived with the courage and conviction to translate his anti-authoritarian beliefs into action and he died on his feet, for that we will never forget him.

Eternal Honour to Lambros Foundas, Solidarity with the Revolutinary Struggle and Immediate Freedom for Pola Roupa, Nikos Maziotis and Kostas Gournas.

Buenos Aires: Criminal Court bombed by Indomitable Nucleus for the Spread of the Fire / FAI (Argentina)

Sunday, March 4th, 2012

From culmine:

1 March 2012

Ours is the conviction

Gendarmería, Local, and Buenos Aires Federal police, civilian brigades, anti-terrorist laws, biometric identification systems, thousands of cameras throughout the city, vigilant citizens ready to betray, overcrowded jails, torture, murder … this is the scenario where our struggle, in a context similar to many other cities, attacking comrades, individually or collectively, without any social consensus and without the approval of any leader, alone and with their principles and values, burn like a fire.

For our part, we report that on Thursday March 1st at 2:30 in the morning, we attacked with an explosive / incendiary, the Criminal Court in Calle Paraguay 1536, in the city center, causing visible damage to the facade and their windows.

We’re thinking of the comrades Freddy Fuentevilla Saa, Marcelo Villarroel Sepulveda and Juan Aliste Vega, who were on hunger strike in prison in Santiago on February 17, within days of international turmoil (19 to 29 February).

Compañeros: The subversion is awake and will not disappear! While there is poverty there will be rebellion!!

The brothers of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, that even within the prison continue war unabated. We are brothers with their words, their gestures and their actions and with the project of the Informal Anarchist Federation, to which we contribute and strengthen.

With love and complicity for the companion Luciano Pitronello (Turtle), wounded and kidnapped by the Chilean state. Gabriel Pombo da Silva, prisoner in Germany – anarquista integro; Marco Camenisch, fighter for the liberation of the earth; and comrade-prisoners in Mexico, Spain, Italy, Indonesia…

With Mauricio Morales and Lambros Foundas always present in the combative memory.

War without truce to the whole system of domination

Communique for the bombing of the Athens Stock Exchange – 2/9/2009 (Greece)

Friday, October 28th, 2011

From boubourAs / actforfreedomnow!, a communique previously untranslated into English claiming responsibility for the direct action against the Athens Stock Exchange by RO- Revolutionary Struggle on 2 September 2009. The release of this communique comes as the global social struggle against the capitalist system threatens to develop to a new level, shaking the entire legitimacy of the exploitative banking system. The RO- Revolutionary Struggle in their texts and actions reveal a foretelling vision of a free society of equality and harmonious co-operation without the violent parasitism and coercion imposed on us by the super-elite.

From the Revolutionary Organisation – Revolutionary Struggle

On the 2nd of September in the early morning we attacked the temple of money, the stock exchange of Athens, by placing an expropriated van with 150 kilos of ammonium nitrate (AN/FO). This action is the continuation of a strategy of attacks with large quantities of explosives in order to hurt the infrastructure of multinational and local capital, a strategy initiated the 18th of February last year with the attempt on the central offices of Citibank on Nea Kifissia and continued with the bomb attack on the Eurobank branch on Vouliagmenis avenue, Argiroupoli on May 12th last year.

Maybe the explosion, despite the enormous amount of damage it caused to the building, did not stop the operation of the stock market since it did not destroy the central software system, but we believe that it worked, and it will continue to work negatively on the market and on the psychology of all kinds of opportunists, since the message was clear and was received by economic power as a whole: those responsible for the current crisis, the major shareholders, the golden boys, the capitalists, will pay for their criminal activity, and no State mechanism can protect them. Report from the trial of the armed group Revolutionary Struggle, Athens (Greece)

Friday, October 28th, 2011

October 24 2011

Heavy accusations against the capitalist economic-social system and the urban system of power, the state and its persecutory mechanisms were made by the members of Revolutionary Struggle at the first (substantial) day of their trial, when the chairman gave them the word in order to place themselves in short concerning the charges. Their statements were anything but short. For over half an hour, Nikos Maziotis, Pola Roupa and Kostas Gournas (we mention them according to how they mentioned in the court brief and in the order they spoke) addressed charges against the system and defended their political choices, transforming the room of the terror-court into a step for their opinions. Berlin: Attack against Deutsche Telekom in solidarity with Revolutionary Struggle (Germany)

Thursday, October 6th, 2011

3 October 2011

From Contrainfo:

During the night to October 3rd, we made a gift to the German economy. We attacked several vehicles with incendiaries at a site of Deutsche Telekom in Lichtenberg, Berlin. We selected the date for this action in reference to the trial against the organization Revolutionary Struggle which begins on October 5th in Athens.

We stand in solidarity with the actions of the Revolutionary Struggle and demand the release of Kostas Gournas, Panagiota ‘Pola’ Roupa, Nikos Maziotis and all other comrades who are imprisoned.

The option of armed struggle within autonomous and radical leftist forms of resistance should always be maintained but must not be led to isolation from other forms of actions and movements.

Here, there is no movement willing and able to back up the possibility of armed struggle. For this reason, there aren’t any guerrilla groups in Germany at the moment.

However, the levels of resistance in Europe need to refer to each other in order to fight the project of the European superpower more effectively.

The troika set the privatization of state-owned enterprises as a condition for further credit loans to the Greek State. Within this framework, Deutsche Telekom has overtaken large shares of the Greek telecommunications organization OTE at times of hoped economic upturn. Since OTE’s profits did not rise up to the anticipated amount, [its largest shareholder] Deutsche Telekom plans to launch layoffs and massive wage cuts against the employees. Also, Telekom specifies the payments to early retirees as a ‘burden’ in its balance sheet. Deutsche Telekom speculates via this pressure to acquire OTE’s remaining shares, and thus completely overtake the company from the Greek State, in order to obtain the absolute supremacy. The example of this multinational corporation marks the inhuman capitalistic exploitation logic very well.

Furthermore, Telekom is involved through a security partnership with the police and the army in the comprehensive surveillance at Germany and abroad.

Our attack was also meant to support the strikes among the employees and workers in Greece, and to merge the struggle of the anarchist movement across the borders.

We hope that this action will also encourage others to participate actively in a militant perspective.

We commemorate Lambros Foundas who was shot dead by cops
in his struggle for freedom.

Text written by the three imprisoned members of Revolutionary Struggle about the trial of the organization which will start on October 5, 2011 (Greece)

Saturday, October 1st, 2011

The trial of the organization Revolutionary Struggle, which will begin on October 5, is the continuation of the repressive attack of the State which started in April 2010 with our arrests against the organization Revolutionary Struggle and of course the fighters involved in it.

The main purpose of the arrests, the trial but also the sentences to many years’ imprisonment that will be pronounced by the Special Court, is that the State will be able to eliminate the political threat of Revolutionary Struggle, bend our will to fight, make every fighter and every resisting person think that the political choice of armed action is hopeless, unrealistic and with no prospects.

The challenge for the State is to politically defeat Revolutionary Struggle, to defeat us, who participate in it, to defeat armed struggle and in perspective bend any desire to organize an armed proletarian counter-attack on the regime and its overthrowal and any will for an armed revolutionary attempt. Both the action of Revolutionary Struggle and the repressive policy against it are inseparable from the existing historical context, the persecution, imprisonment, trial and our condemnation concern the elimination of a political force that had and still has as its tactic the undermining of the plans of the economic and political elites to financially destroy the majority of society in the name of getting out of the system’s crisis.

The protection of the economic and political state from a threat such as Revolutionary Struggle and ensuring through repression that no armed revolutionary attempt against it will occur, has become particularly urgent lately now that the Greek State is just about to announce its final bankruptcy while the occupation by the Greek government, the IMF, the ECB and the EU is plunging the country deeper and deeper into the most cruel, brutal form of exploitation and oppression that this country has seen since the second world war.

As part of dealing with Revolutionary Struggle, the arrest and capture of members of the organization, comrades V. Stathopoulos, S. Nikitopoulos and C. Kortesis, who will be tried with us, were also arrested, while comrade K. Katsenas is still in hiding.

As well as the four comrades, who are not involved in the organisation, the State sought to widen the circle of hostaged fighters by going into massive interrogations in October 2010. At the same time they delivered a summons to K. Gourna’s companion, Marie Beracha, who will be tried with us on October 5. The State has involved M. Beracha, making a clear attempt to personally strike comrade K. Gournas, curb his desire for resistance and thereby harm the organization itself.

Despite the fact that the move of massive investigations was unproductive in terms of further prosecutions, it was definitely an opportunity to exercise further pressure on us, since by intimidating a large number of comrades, it aimed at our political isolation from the political milieu to which we belong.

Moreover, our political isolation is always an aim of the State since it is a necessary condition for achieving the final goal in the war conducted against us: our political extermination.

As a result, the attack on Revolutionary Struggle can also be interpreted as the prosecution of other comrades and the targeting of the broader political and interpersonal relations within the anarchist milieu, while a broader effort to intimidate anyone who resists is always an objective of any punitive attack.

During our trial, as members of Revolutionary Struggle who took political responsibility for participating in the organization, we can only have armed struggle as our main and central point of reference.

Our trial will be a field of political confrontation with Capital and the State; it will be a political step to defend the action and positions of our organization, where we will claim that armed struggle is over time an integral part of the revolutionary movement of the struggle and social revolution. That armed struggle is more suitable and necessary than ever, especially under the current conditions of economic crisis and modern totalitarianism that we experience after placing the people under the authority of the international financial elite by violently imposing the agenda of troika, IMF, ECB and EU.

We will defend, as we have already done, comrade L. Foundas, a member of the organization killed in a gunfight with cops during an action of the organization in preparation for an attack against the regime, an attack in accordance with the strategy of Revolutionary Struggle so as to confront the current junta of Capital and State.

As members of Revolutionary Struggle we are consistent in promoting the views and opinions of the organization from the prison and we will do the same in court.

The action and aim of Revolutionary Struggle is associated with the struggle against neoliberal globalization, with a strategy and perspective that sees the current economic crisis and consequent de-validation of the economic and political system in the eyes of the social majority, as a unique opportunity to promote the overthrowal of Capitalism and the State.

All this, which we have mentioned before in texts that we sent out from prison, will emerge in our forthcoming trial.

Within the framework of our political advocacy we made an international call of solidarity calling as political witnesses to our trial comrades who have previously fought in the ranks of armed struggle under different economic, political and social conditions and who have remained adamant and unrepentant concerning their choices and defended their struggles, paying for them with many years in prison.

Our aim is to highlight the continuity of armed struggle through a historical record of the guerrilla, to highlight the necessity and opportuneness of armed struggle as a necessary tool of the revolutionary movement, to highlight that the struggle for freedom and revolution is continuous.

We also believe that there is an imperative need to organize an international revolutionary movement. Very important to our trial is also a statement of solidarity from our comrades witnesses from the anarchist milieu who, as activists operating in other forms of struggle, through their words affirm the unity and diversity of struggling to overthrow power, annulling the divisive dilemmas of the latter such as “legality or illegality” or “mass struggle and armed struggle.” After all, we come from the anarchist milieu and have many years of experience participating in mass events, demonstrations, squats; in clashes in the streets and assemblies, as well as, some of us, experience of participating in collectives and groups.

[We also aim to highlight] the proposals of Revolutionary Struggle such as the destruction of the State and the imperative need for social self-organization and self-management, as recorded through the organization’s proclamations and through the texts written in prison, come from the traditional anarchist movement.

For us, armed struggle is a strategic plan of attack against sovereignty while pursuing the possibility of a social address, with the aim always being the sharpening of the social and class war against the State and Capital, the propaganda of armed proletarian counter-attack to overthrow the system, and social revolution.

Finally, to note that not only our arrest and detention haven’t swayed us, as our pursuers hoped, but that we are stronger than ever.

Also, that in this political battle that we will give in court and despite the years of imprisonment that will be imposed by the straw men of the regime, in the end we are the ones who will be the victors.

The members of Revolutionary Struggle

Communique for 9.3.2009 Athens Citibank bombing by Revolutionary Struggle (Greece)

Friday, April 8th, 2011

325 received this recent translation of an action that occurred in Athens, on 9.3.2009, against Citibank’s headquarters by the armed group Revolutionary Struggle [Epanastatikos Agonas - EA]. For the purpose of illuminating further and providing a platform of solidarity for their ideas and the actions of this inspiring revolutionary organisation, 325 presents this following communique. Revolutionary Struggle carried out many actions which were accompanied by anti-capitalist and social-libertarian critiques, often very pertinent to the times and topical. Amongst the actions they carried out was a missile attack against the American embassy in Athens, 12.1.2007. Revolutionary Struggle have written many important texts critiquing and explaining in simple language the role of the capitalist economy and the effect of the austerity measures, such as “The Only Answer to Modern Totalitarianism is Social Revolution”, which was published in 325 #8, accompanied by the text “A Political Letter to Society”. In this open letter, Kostas Gournas, Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis, anarchist comrades arrested in Athens 10.4.2010, take full responsibility for their involvement in Revolutionary Struggle along with their comrade Lambros Foundas, who was killed by Greek murderers in uniform during a gun battle whilst in the preparatory stages of an action. 3 other comrades, Vaggelis Stathopoulos, Christoforos Kortesis and Sarantos Nikitopoulos, who always denied their involvement in Revolutionary Struggle, and were jailed during the same 10.4.2010 ‘counter-terror’ wave, were set free 8.4.2011, on conditional liberty.

Freedom for Revolutionary Struggle – Honour to Lambros Foundas – Down with the State and Capital.

-

Communique:

We take full responsibility for the explosion at the Citibank branch on Lavriou Str. in Nea Ionia (Athens-Greece) on March 9th [2009]. Our action followed the attempt of February 18th, when we tried to blow up the Citibank headquarters on Achaias Str. in Kato Kifisia (Athens-Greece) using a car trapped with explosives. The specific operation was part of our organization’s strategic intervention as far as economic crisis and its originators are concerned, among which the international bank capital hold a predominant place. The use of a car trapped with 125 kg of petroleum ammonite was not just aiming at a small range token strike but it was intended to destroy the infrastructure of the particular multi-national company and thus make clear that its presence in the Greek territory is endangered. After all, one of the main objectives of a true revolutionary movement as well as an armed organization is to turn a country into a hostile ground for the criminal mechanisms of supranational capital conveyors, such as Citibank. Announcement of the 3 imprisoned members of Revolutionary Struggle concerning the use of Lambros Foundas’ name in the arson of the Law School in Athens (Greece)

Wednesday, April 6th, 2011

March 2011

Lambros Foundas gave his life fighting on the lines of the Revolutionary Struggle, an urban guerilla organization that operated alongside the exploited and oppressed.

He gave his life promoting a political project that aimed at the popular and proletarian counterattack on the conditions of modern totalitarianism, in which we live.

Our opinion as well as Lambros Foundas as members of the Revolutionary Struggle is that armed struggle is an essential tool of social-class struggle to overthrow capitalism and social revolution rather than a means to an existential affirmation of the individualistic insurrectionary experience of some. Responsibility claim for arson attack against Emporiki bank in Kolonaki, Athens (Greece)

Wednesday, March 16th, 2011

6 March 2011

“Our brothers fight…

They do not quit, they are not subjugated.
Our brothers by day conspire, and in the nights they move like shadows.
They sow destruction, they make passages, this is how they live.

They are not crawling ass-licking for the bread of the boss…

Our brothers seek comrades, to become one.
They do not spend their time on ephemeral relations, they look us deep in the eyes…

Our brothers stand up to the enemy since it does not frighten them. They are not afraid…

Fear is for bourgeois and snitches.

Our brothers stand proudly also in prison…

They do not regret, they do not comply with judges and people guards.

Our brothers do not beg for life.

They search for Freedom and go to the end.

Lambros Foundas is our brother, warrior of Freedom, member of Revolutionary Struggle, he fell in the battle, with a gun in his hand.

Tears do not suit our brothers, continuity of Struggle and attack suits them.

As a minimal token of honor we attacked the “Emporiki” bank on Skoufa street, in Kolonaki square, the early hours of Sunday 6th March.

We look up high, there where with other rare and beautiful makes plans. Grins to those that continue, to those that do not forget, to those that look at death and shout: Death does not exist!

HONOUR FOR EVER

Solidarity to the hostage Guerrillas of the Revolutionary Organisation Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the Revolutionary Organisation Revolutionary Struggle and the Revolutionary Organisation 17th November.

Solidarity to the hostages of war that do not bow the head behind the bars of democracy.

Solidarity to the hunger strikers of the “bombs case” in Chile.

We raise our fists those that continue the hostilities…

On 10 March 2010 a revolutionary anarchist comrade fell in struggle against the murderers in uniform of the Greek democracy. Lambros was a known and loved fighter and friend to many people and his death will be avenged by our fight against the system. Continuation of the struggle that Lambros felt in his heart is our best dedication to the eternal spirit of freedom which he fell fighting for.

To all comrades, known and unknown, on the earth and with the stars, love and respect.

In life thunder

Charged with

genuine anguish for the choices, the tomorrow, the comrades, the struggle.

With sharp thoughts, forged in the bowels of personal labour and the movement.

With decisive acts, firm, flaming.

You showed with your life that the way of the revolutionary is to say little, to act with rage and devotion. With rage and conscience.

In your memory fists tighten…

Tears become weapons…

And the old Case becomes more imperative.

And in death a wolf

One

breath was enough for you, one decision and the iron will.

With the weapon in your hand and freedom in your eyes you chased your dreams to the end.

As you lived, this is how you left. Wild and free.

When revolutionaries die

they are not lost

They ride a star and draw courses of freedom in the indefinite.

They draw with their blood what each one of us dreams but is afraid to dare.

They are fireflies in the darkness of inertia.

They are the fire, the struggle, the street.

Lets all take the fire from their fire…

lets not forget – lets act.

Honour to anarchist

Lambros Foundas

The struggle continues.

Solidarity with the comrades of Revolutionary Struggle (Greece)

Monday, November 1st, 2010

We believe that the death of Lambros Foundas by the uniformed murderers as well as the arrests of the six fighters for their participation or for their alleged participation in the Revolutionary Struggle, are integral facts of their historical-social frame. We consider them as the first and heavy losses in the new phase of growth of class war that has been signaled by the capitalistic crisis. We feel that Lambros did not simply leave one day of March, but fighting on the eve of a general strike, while the six arrested as well as all the imprisoned fighters, are missing from us in the streets in these important as well as difficult days that have come, these days where the subversive-liberating argument must and can be applied with new intensity and momentum.

The three comrades who took responsibility for the actions of Revolutionary Struggle show that fighting for what you believe in is not a task that only the “elite” can take on. Its in everyone that has suffered in the system that has been created to control us. The state knows they are the real terrorists and as long as no one is fighting back they have nothing to fear. Its time to show them enough is enough and attack it with all means available.

“And if the terrorists Papandreou and Chrysohoidis are laughing (in vain) about our arrests; if they believe they have thus guaranteed the necessary security for their social-fascist party to easily continue imposing their criminal projects on society, wagging their tails to please their American masters; if they are hoping they have eliminated a serious threat to their regime, we assure them that it will not be so easy to do away with us.

While we live and breathe, we will do everything possible to cause trouble for their antisocial, criminal projects.

And if our persecutors and this country’s political establishment believe they have all of society on their side, if they believe most people see us as a “social threat,” they are wrong.” Excerpt from the Political Letter to Society from the Revolutionary Struggle members (See 325 #8 for the full text).
