HUNGER STRIKE: CONSPIRACY OF CELLS OF FIRE – UNLESS WE DIE FOR EACH OTHER, WE ARE ALREADY DEAD
On March 3rd, “justice” decided on the pre-trial detention of the mother of the comrades Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos and the second one’s girlfriend, with the charge of accession and participation in a terrorist organization.
Behind the obvious ridiculousness of the charge, it is the morbid vindictiveness of the counter-terrorism unit and the judicial authority in hiding, which wishes to blackmail emotionally both the two comrades and all of us. It is not just a vengeance tending to the zillion, it is an attempt to disqualify us. Essentially, they demand an unconditional surrender from us, a silent truce and a farewell to dignity, otherwise there will always be some “hospitable” cells for our relatives in the prisons of democracy.
We will not do them the favor. The war against the power has been indelibly forged inside us and flows like blood in our veins. We will not hand over one millimeter to the enemies of freedom, judges and cops.
We are facing the most vulgar sentimental siege. Beloved ones, who have no political affinity with us, but only a biological and sentimental one, have been kidnapped and kept as hostages by the judicial mafia. In this specific case, the priesthood of justice even abrogates the ridiculousness of its own official rules since, on the pre-trial detention measure, their “holy” law stipulates that «pre-trial detention shall apply only in cases where the defendant is suspected of escape or committing similar offenses».
Which one, even of our enemies, thinks that our relative are “suspected of escape” or “committing crimes” – which they haven’t actually committed? Apparently no one…
This narration of the current affairs is not a part of a personal story or an emotionally charged bracket during the experience of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire.
On the contrary, it is a part of the total repression strategy, coordinated by the high priests of judges, cops and journalists.
The first doors have already started to knock at dawn…
On Saturday, the police operation under the code name “Galatas” (“Milk man”) is made known, in order for the fugitive – member of the R.S. (Revolutionary Struggle) to be tracked down [Pola Roupa], while press reports talk about possible research in the paternal home of the member of R.S., Nikos Maziotis. Moreover, the same day, police and public prosecutors raid anarchists’ homes, after an «anonymous phone call concerning the existence of weapons and explosives».
Although the conclusion of the researches was concentrated into the fucking official paper with two words, «nothing found», in fact, we are in the preface of police and judicial heavy handedness.
Inside this confounded field, where sadness and rage mix with each other, at the same time, with our own hunger strike about the liberation of our relatives, there’s the hunger strike against the C’ type prisons, the terror-law, the 187 law, the hood-law, the fascist police manipulation of the taking of DNA, as well as the liberation of Savvas Xiros taking place. This hunger strike was organized and announced long ago and has our full political agreement. We urgently decided on our hunger strike, as a gag reflex to the captivity imposed to our relatives.
These two hunger strikes are, however, directly linked as they meet as the supplementation of one another. Specifically, the hunger strike about the liberation of our relatives is the physical and political ramification of the terror law application, whose abolition is set as a request of the other political prisoners’ hunger strike.
In our case, we propose the pointed–personal reference to our relatives, because the threat of the constant upgrading of the terror law, from an image of the future, has turned into the fascist current reality, which captivates our own people.
This is why there is no middle way. Either our relatives are released, or there will be the first hunger strikers to die during the last 40 years in Europe, with a left government as a background.
We once more make clear that we don’t ask a thing for ourselves. We have claimed full political responsibility for the whole plan of our escape from Koridallos prison, we have made our self-criticism on our “failures” in public and we keep unrepentant our will for freedom and anarchy, which will only come from our own hands, not by the passive awaiting of the laws.
What we demand is the liberation of our relatives, kidnapped by power.
It would be conscientious and emotional suicide, if we tried to transfuse our political features to this case. No matter how much we hate the logic of victimization, we would be blind if we did not recognize that, in this case, our relatives are the prosecutors’ scapegoats – trophies for our choices.
This is why, when we talk about our relatives, we don’t completely release our words’ roughness, as we do not intend to play political games on the backs of our people. Moreover, nor their legal defense has anything to do with the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. We will always be by their side, the way they have been by our side, without our political choices intersecting.
The only certain thing is that we maintain our roughness and the absoluteness of our own choices to the decision on hunger strike until death. We move on with the confidence of the ones playing it all for the triumph of the unconquered and free life.
Perhaps it is blood needed for the freedom to grow. But this is how it is…
We die the way we chose to live; with dignity that won’t capitulate even against death.
Because, genuine freedom only exists in the struggle for freedom.
WE NEVER FORGET – WE NEVER FORGIVE
HUNGER STRIKE UNTIL THE DEATH FOR THE LIBERATION OF OUR RELATIVES
SOLIDARITY AND VICTORY TO ALL HUNGER STRIKERS’ STRUGGLE
1. For the abolition of the A’ counter-terror law (article 187),
2. For the abolition of the B’ counter-terror law (article 187A),
3. The abolition of the hood-law,
4. The abolition of the C’ type prisons law,
5. The liberation of Savvas Xiros for medical reasons,
6. The abolition of the Public Prosecutor provision requiring the violent taking of DNA (and generally, the police manipulation with the construction of culprits through DNA).

Act for freedom now! receives:
When the enemy seems to be standing up well and uses all means to crash anything opposite, then the attack towards him, his symbols and infrastructures is the only way. Wherever we look we see various types of authority, either called cop, judge either called school, bank, church, prison. Institutions of a rotten system that every day remind us that we are not free. Their real value will be shown with their destruction and through ashes and wreckage their beauty will be shown. No more compromises fit here right now. Their place should be taken over by determination and continuous struggle.
In the undeclared war which is taking place, when there isn’t direct usage of weapons, then other means are mobilised in order to hit the mind and the soul of every unrepentant revolutionary.
The new high security prisons are aiming right at that, his extermination. When its their turn, judges and prosecutors give revengeful long sentences. Prosecutor Olga Smirli confirmed her role at the trial for the ATE bank (now Pireaus Bank) in Pyrgetos Larisa giving away 16 years to G.NAXAKIS and G.SARAFOUDIS, with the only evidence being their political identity.
Either the two comrades participated in the robbery, either not, we are with them and we dedicate them the attack on Pireaus Bank on the early hours of the 10th of September in Sykies, Thessaloniki. This act is a small sign of solidarity and a message that everything continues…
Lets fight, everyone in their own way, forcefully, with the means that they have, till the end, until total liberation.

A RAISED FIST TO ALL REVOLUTIONARIES

On July 16th, 2014 the armed dogs of the establishment unleashed a fierce manhunt, and comrade Nikos Maziotis, member of the Revolutionary Struggle, was hit by a cop’s bullet and fell covered in blood. The comrade gave his battle against the cops that were chasing him. The state apparatus in its totality triumphed over the arrest of the “No 1 most-wanted fugitive” in the country. So did the criminal and real archi-terrorist Samaras, whose government took over the reins from the former pro-memorandum governments in a campaign for the biggest social genocide that has ever occurred in Greece in a time of “peace”. Samaras has used the arrest of Maziotis as a means to the stabilization of his faltering government, in order to support a political and economic regime with rotten foundations, which has long been discredited in social consciences.
For the political and economic regime, not only in Greece but also internationally, the arrest of a revolutionary with the political calibre of Nikos Maziotis is a “significant success”, as stated by the United States. That’s because the comrade’s arrest is perceived by our enemies as a blow to the struggle for the establishment’s subversion, as a blow to the struggle for liberation from the yoke of capitalism and the State, as a blow to the struggle for social Revolution. The size of threat that Maziotis poses to the establishment is reflected in the high-pitched nauseating rejoicing on the part of the domestic and foreign political power. Because the comrade and the Revolutionary Struggle, the organization in which he belongs, are intrinsically linked to the systemic political destabilization, to the undermining of a rotten regime; linked to the consistent war against domination and contemporary barbarity; linked to the struggle for the overthrow of the State and capitalism, linked to the social Revolution itself. Comrade Nikos Maziotis was and continues to be committed to the Revolution. This is what he has fought for, this is what he still fights for; this is why they present him as No 1 danger to the establishment. Thus, the political gravity of this case should be the primary parameter in expressing solidarity with the comrade. (more…)

In the early hours of Sunday, July 20th, we attacked the bastards of the MAT anti-riot squad with Molotov cocktails at the headquarters of Greece’s socialist PASOK co-ruling party located in Charilaou Trikoupi Street, Exarchia, as a minimum act of solidarity with urban guerrilla fighter Nikos Maziotis…
The States are the only terrorists. Solidarity with urban guerrilla fighters!
Strength and solidarity to anarchist combatant Nikos Maziotis, and Pola Roupa who has a bounty on her head.

March 10th 2010. Lambros Foundas, member of the Revolutionary Struggle falls dead by the bullets of a cop in Dafni during a preparatory action of the organization. Four years later the proposed political action of Lambros Foundas and the Revolutionary Struggle where he acted, is even more topical, the choice of struggle and the strategy of the action even more imperative. Four years later and the terms of life of millions of people are becoming more and more miserable in the name of saving the economic and political system which is being buried deeper and deeper in the crisis.
Four years ago comrade Lambros Foundas gave his life to a political attempt to not turn decadence into a way of life, to not sacrifice people in order to save the system. He gave his life to a political attempt whose final aim was to throw the corpse of capitalism and with It the state, in the trash of history. He gave his life to open the only path for the complete overcoming of crises, to open the way for social liberation, for Social Revolution. This is the matter which is worth fighting for, even dying for. (more…)

Information via Contra-Info. Also read the Oral declaration to the court by Pola Roupa, member of Revolutionary Struggle – October 24th, 2011.
On April 3rd, 2013 the judgment on the Revolutionary Struggle case was a slight improvement of the prosecutor’s proposal. The court’s decision on the Revolutionary Struggle case:
Defendants who have denied participation in the organization
- Acquittal of Marie Beraha, Sarantos Nikitopoulos and Kostas Katsenos of all charges (on benefit of doubt).
- Conviction of Vaggelis Stathopoulos and Christoforos Kortesis for alleged participation in the organization.
Admitted members of Revolutionary Struggle
- Acquittal of Nikos Maziotis, Pola Roupa and Kostas Gournas of the accusation of ‘directing a terrorist organization.’
- Conviction of Nikos Maziotis, Pola Roupa and Kostas Gournas for ‘simple synergy’ with the actions of Revolutionary Struggle (without a shred of evidence concerning their involvement in specific actions, but rather applying the Nazi principle of joint liability).
To sum up, Revolutionary Struggle member Nikos Maziotis was sentenced to 86 years’ imprisonment; his sentence was merged into 50 years. Revolutionary Struggle members Pola Roupa and Kostas Gournas were both sentenced to 87 years; each sentence was merged into 50 years and 6 months. For all three of them, the maximum prison term is 25 years (which are typically served either as a full sentence or by day wages in prisons, or after the completion of 3/5 of the prison term, when a prisoner can be granted conditional release under specific conditions).
Vaggelis Stathopoulos and Christoforos Kortesis were sentenced to 8 and 7 years’ imprisonment, respectively. The sentence against Vaggelis Stathopoulos was merged into 7 years and 6 months.
In addition, for all five convicted anarchists, the judges’ decision provided for deprivation of their political rights (5 years for the three admitted members of Revolutionary Struggle, and 3 years for the other two anarchists), as well as non-suspensive effect of appeal.
While Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa are on the run, Kostas Gournas, Vaggelis Stathopoulos and Christoforos Kortesis were immediately taken to prison. The militant slogans of the audience and the clenched fists of the three anarchist fighters were the last moments of the trial.
Solidarity with all anarchists imprisoned or persecuted by the Greek State! The battle for freedom is far from over.
Long live Revolutionary Struggle!

‘Long-Live Luciano Tortuga Cell – International Conspiracy for Revenge – FAI / FRI’ attack electrical substation with incendiary device in Manado (Indonesia)
Sunday, September 2nd, 2012
From Membakar Senj[a]:
It’s always a reason to say that the lack of numbers is the main reason. But for us the only obstacle is fear. Theories, reasons and situations are the walls of the labyrinth which always became a reason for obstruction and restriction. As well as the accusations that the kidnapping of two members, of our comrades Billy and Eat, is a barrier to the ongoing actions for destruction.
On August 23, at a power plant in Kotamobagu, North Sulawesi, we put an incendiary device that failed to ignite. We were disappointed with ourselves and the ability of each individual who was involved in the attack. But on the other hand, we learned that no one should regret. Tonight August 31, we re-commit to do the same “crimes”. Leaving the device in order to burn an electrical substation in Tuminting, Manado.
The goal is clear. We are angry. Really angry!
This action is also as a response and as an answer to the unlimited solidarity from many rebellion comrades and companer@s.
To the uncontrolled and brave comrades in the darkness of Bolivia, Chile, Mexico, Greece, Argentina, and England as well as to other places that were never mentioned.
To Olga and all the comrades from Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and Tasos Theofilou who was recently arrested because he was an anarchist. Also we do not forget to mention Theofilos Mavropoulos, Gabriel Pombo da Silva, Rami Syrianos, and Marco Camenisch who are undergoing a hunger strike. All of you are rebels who inspired us despite the fact that you are seized behind bars.
To Luciano Tortuga and Mario Lopez, also never forget to mention Ivan Silva and Carla Verdugo in Chile. Henry Zegarrundo, Juan Aliste Vega, Freddy Fuentevilla Saa, Marcelo Villarroel Sepúlveda also are an inspiration. Do not forget to dissidents like Felicity Ryder, Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa also lastly to K. The fugitive member of the Long Live Luciano Tortuga Cell, Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front (FAI / FRI).
But with fully of shame in our face we mention our two brothers in struggle, members of Long Live Luciano Tortuga Cell, Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front; Billy Augustan and Reyhard Rumbayan (Eat). Also do not forget the brave one of Kulonprogo; Tukijo. For those we send our greetings with the lights of fire from the street. To them we are sending our love.
These actions are also as a manifestation of anger and disappointment.
Impatience for those rebels who after attacks returned to run and hide and spent long time to keep waiting, including us.
Comrades, it is time to strike back.
Do not wait. Time to light it up!
Long Live Anarchy!
Long Live Luciano Tortuga Cell

(more…)

A poem by the inmates from the 2nd wing of Larissa men’s prisons dedicated to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas, the little son of two members of Revolutionary Struggle (Greece)
Wednesday, July 25th, 2012
Born behind prison bars, the visible ones, that hide the heavens
The human guards, the cops and crows, the patrons of quiet sleep were the midwife of yours
You celebrated your first birthday with the shadows cast by steel barriers…
Bourgeois democracy is so merciful…
Now it’s your second birthday, the starlight you’d never seen until now
With the horizon ahead of you extending to infinity
With dogs barking from afar
We wish you ardent years, seas resounding in your ears, thunders singing lullabies to you
The tide coming in and erasing your footsteps, on the sand…
With respect and love to those who did not regret what they ever dared to do
Honour and remembrance forever for Lambros Foundas
This goes out to Nikos, Pola and very young Lambros-Viktoras
The prison inmates of the 2nd wing of Larissa
Happy Birthday and life’s freedom to Lambros-Viktoras Maziotis Roupas from 325. Strength, warmth and respect to Nikos and Pola. Honour to the memory of Lambros Foundas, member of Revolutionary Struggle. Solidarity to those accused and on trial for the same case.
REVOLUTION FIRST AND ALWAYS

As reported by ABC Berlin, Nikos Maziotis and Pola Roupa, two members of the urban guerrila group, “Revolutionary Struggle” - “Epanastatikos Agonas”, have gone underground with their baby-son, Victor Lambros. Since October last year in Athens, the trial of the previous two and Kostas Gournas, who is also a member of the Revolutionary Struggle, has been happening. More people are also accused by the authorities to be part of the group. Pola, Nikos and Costas were for one and a half years in custody and were released before trial on 11 October 2011.
Strength and good luck to the three.
Revolutionary greetings from imprisoned anarchist Marco Camenisch, on the occasion of the event for the Revolutionary Struggle case (Switzerland)
Thursday, June 7th, 2012
From Switzerland I send my warmest revolutionary salutes to you, comrades, on the occasion of your event-festival on the 7th and 8th of June in Greece!
The themes of your meeting—history, actuality and perspective of the international social revolution—are of crucial importance and more timely than ever, in these times of irreversible crisis of the dominant system.
Never had been the times so ripe and urgent for the realization and organization of the internationalist struggle towards a social-revolutionary perspective as the only solution to the crisis of the dominant system, and for this purpose the construction of an internationalist revolutionized solidarity is indispensable; these are more than obvious and shareable affirmations of yours, Pola and Nikos, and of a multitude of combatant comrades. 10 March 2012
In the early hours of the 10th of March, exactly two years since Lambros Foundas was gunned down by uniformed pigs in the street of Athens, some anarchist vandals targeted the Marrickville branch of the Beirut Hellenic Bank.
We sprayed “BURN BANKS” “FOR LAMBROS” “FOR SOCIAL REVOLUTION” on the windows of the bank, put superglue in the ATM card slots and covered the screens with paint.
This minor act of sabotage was carried out in memory of Lambros, an anarchist, social fighter and member of Revolutionary Struggle. He lived with the courage and conviction to translate his anti-authoritarian beliefs into action and he died on his feet, for that we will never forget him.
Eternal Honour to Lambros Foundas, Solidarity with the Revolutinary Struggle and Immediate Freedom for Pola Roupa, Nikos Maziotis and Kostas Gournas.
For generalised attacks on all machinery of capital and the state!

New from Act For Freedom Now! Revolutionary Struggle PDF – Trial Solidarity Zine
Download now for free from Actforfreedomnow! A collection of letters, texts and communiques from the armed group ‘ Revolutionary Struggle’ and their accused. Released during their current trial and intended to be one more nail in the coffin of the legitimacy of the State and the capitalist system.
From the introduction:
In the days of April 2010, when the Greek government finally agreed to accept a loan from the International Monetary Fund to begin the take-over of the country into the hands of the international financiers, the security services had prepared a media spectacle to mark the occasion: the capture of 6 anarchist fighters for the purpose of the submission of the social struggle.
Anarchist fighters who had been a thorn in their side for some time, were now hostages. Hostages who had humiliated the demoralised and brutal Greek intelligence services, anti-terrorist divisions and their American occupier counterparts, the CIA, who had sought out the Revolutionary Struggle (‘Epanastatikos Agwnas’ – EA – in Greek language) for a Rocket Propelled Grenade attack against the US Embassy in Athens. This daring and symbolic action came amongst scores of other targeted attacks which struck for years with symbolically definitive high-impact blows against the institutions of capitalism and government, accompanied by dozens and dozens of pages of critical, thoughtful and articulate anarchist analysis of the institutional structures that parasite on the social wealth produced by labour, with social and economic self-organisation put forward as an anti-capitalist and anti-state egalitarian alternative. Revolutionary Struggle are Nikos Maziotis, Pola Roupa, Kostas Gournas and the fallen Lambros Foundas. Together they formed a group of social-libertarian anarchists based in the busy capital, Athens, who directed their armed activities in the class interests of the exploited workers of Greece and within/alongside the specific mass anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement from 2003-2010.
And now, they continue their fight in the court rooms and prisons of the Greek regime, where they push an even harder fight to the legitimacy of the capitalist enemy. As this collection was being assembled, the show-piece trial against the comrades continues, which is partnered by a campaign of repression against the anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement in general and specifically to several anarchists who deny responsibility. What the Greek security services and their foreign colleagues wish to prevent through intimidation, surveillance and imprisonment is contagion. Contagion of tactics which made a mockery of their system and showed how easily it could be struck by anyone. Contagion of ideas which has now spread far beyond the world-wide anarchist/anti-authoritarian movement into the general masses of people who are angry with everything, wishing to see it all come down and something much more humane begin. …

UPDATE ON REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE CASE
From Actforfreedomnow. Day 3, 1/11/11
With the repetition of the procedure P. Roumeliotis (defence advocate of K.Katsenos) asked to place his position on the objection for vagueness of the order, before the court publishes its decision. With a detailed and absolutely thorough argumentation, supported by theory but also by legislations, Romeliotis proved that there is an absolute nullity of the order and the call, because the actions the defendant is accused of have not been described and consequently he cannot defend himself, a fact that -besides the articles of the Code of Penal Procedure, which are being violated- it is also a direct violation of article. 6 paragraph 1 of the ECHR (European Convention for Human Rights), according to which a defendant should be informed in detail about the actions for which they are accused. In the particular case, we have a series of actions in which everywhere we have two perpetrators and simultaneously have seven defendants (the total minus M. Beraha) that are accused for complicity! How can the defendant defend himself, when you won’t tell him precisely what he is accused of, when he isn’t placed in the real incidents? These points were also deposited in writing by the advocate. From boubourAs / actforfreedomnow!, a communique previously untranslated into English claiming responsibility for the direct action against the Athens Stock Exchange by RO- Revolutionary Struggle on 2 September 2009. The release of this communique comes as the global social struggle against the capitalist system threatens to develop to a new level, shaking the entire legitimacy of the exploitative banking system. The RO- Revolutionary Struggle in their texts and actions reveal a foretelling vision of a free society of equality and harmonious co-operation without the violent parasitism and coercion imposed on us by the super-elite.
From the Revolutionary Organisation – Revolutionary Struggle
On the 2nd of September in the early morning we attacked the temple of money, the stock exchange of Athens, by placing an expropriated van with 150 kilos of ammonium nitrate (AN/FO). This action is the continuation of a strategy of attacks with large quantities of explosives in order to hurt the infrastructure of multinational and local capital, a strategy initiated the 18th of February last year with the attempt on the central offices of Citibank on Nea Kifissia and continued with the bomb attack on the Eurobank branch on Vouliagmenis avenue, Argiroupoli on May 12th last year.
Maybe the explosion, despite the enormous amount of damage it caused to the building, did not stop the operation of the stock market since it did not destroy the central software system, but we believe that it worked, and it will continue to work negatively on the market and on the psychology of all kinds of opportunists, since the message was clear and was received by economic power as a whole: those responsible for the current crisis, the major shareholders, the golden boys, the capitalists, will pay for their criminal activity, and no State mechanism can protect them. Heavy accusations against the capitalist economic-social system and the urban system of power, the state and its persecutory mechanisms were made by the members of Revolutionary Struggle at the first (substantial) day of their trial, when the chairman gave them the word in order to place themselves in short concerning the charges. Their statements were anything but short. For over half an hour, Nikos Maziotis, Pola Roupa and Kostas Gournas (we mention them according to how they mentioned in the court brief and in the order they spoke) addressed charges against the system and defended their political choices, transforming the room of the terror-court into a step for their opinions.
