Our comrades in NYC Antifa are calling for an international day of
solidarity with antifa political prisoners. Below is their call for
On Saturday, July 25, 2015 antifascists will fight against those who— in
the government or in the streets, dream of imposing their fascist and
other Far Right nationalist nightmares on the rest of us. Throughout the
world, Islamophobic, anti-Semitic, anti-immigrant, and racist bigotries
are on the rise. Antifas are on the frontline in confronting these
reactionary politics, and we will not forget our comrades imprisoned in
the course of this struggle. The July 25 International Day of Solidarity
with Antifascist Prisoners originated in 2014 as a day of Solidarity
with Jock Palfreeman, an Australian who is imprisoned in Bulgaria for
defending two Romani men from an attack by fascist football hooligans.
Groups around the world took action: holding demonstrations, benefits
supporting the Bulgarian Prisoners Association, writing to Jock, and
talking about the plight of the Romani and Sinti people in general. In
2015 we would like to expand this day of solidarity to all antifascist
prisoners around the world. We encourage groups to take the day to plan
an event of their choice— whether it is a letter-writing, demonstration,
benefit, or other action, and to focus on the prisoners and related
issues that are of most importance to them locally. For now, this is a
call for endorsements by international groups, organizations,
collective, and formations; a formal announcement is forthcoming.
ENDORSEMENTS CAN BE SENT TO: firstname.lastname@example.org
If there is an antifa prisoner you support, please e-mail us with his or
her details and the language(s) they can read.
Police crackdown on anarchist movement in Czech Republic
Arrests, home searches, interrogations, intimidation, confiscation of servers and other persecutions are results of recent wave of repressions against anarchist movement in the Czech Republic. Early on Tuesday of the 28th April, 2015 the Counter Organised Crime Unit of the Czech police (UOOZ) commenced operation Fenix targeting various individuals and organisations connected with anarchist movement across the country. Police operation was aimed on anarchist and left wing radicals who were supposed to commit series of arson attacks. Based on the information provided by the police, local news source Lidovky.cz has speculated that Network of Revolutionary Cells is responsible for the attacks. Read the rest of this entry »
On Friday 15th May a cop car parked outside the police station on Hostivařska Road in Prague was set on fire. This is the result of premeditated sabotage carried out by the M.A.P. cell. We were following the actions of the Network of Revolutionary Cells, but hesitated before turning our anger into direct action of attack. For a long time we were tormented by fear and indecision.
Then a change of direction happened. On 28th April the police launched an attack on the anarchist movement of the country we live in,and this facilitated our decision to act. We think other choices of this kind will follow. Perhaps a burnt out police car represents just a small step compared with what must be done to put an end to capitalism. Read the rest of this entry »
22/05/15 – The appeal court dropped charges of terrorism against Gianluca and Adriano.
The two anarchist comrades, held prisoner under the High Security 2 regime since 19th September 2013, had been accused of association with purposes of terrorism and subversion of the democratic order, as well as arson, aggravated theft in concurrence and defacement and soiling of private property: judicial concepts and repressive instruments to punish the 13 actions attributed to the comrades.
Specific charges remain in place, but as the charge of terrorism was dropped Adriano has been released, while Gianluca remains in prison.
Mikalai Dziadok protested against tortures by prison staff.
Viasna human rights centre learnt it from Valeria Khotsina, the wife of the political prisoner. Mikalai Dziadok was transferred to correctional facility No.9 in Horki
for his new prison term on May 12. On May 13, he was thrown into a
punishment cell for five days. On May 19, he was transferred to a
solitary confinement cell. Mikalai Dziadok spent the night in a very
cold cell and asked to be transferred to another cell.
On the morning of May 20, the political prisoner cut his abdomen and
arms to draw attention of prison officers. He received medical attention
in a medical unit and was returned to the same cold cell where he
remained until May 26. According to Valeria Khotsina, her husband
already received four sanctions.
Mikalai Dziadok has served 4.5 years of imprisonment for alleged
destructive actions against official buildings. He was to be released on
March 3, 2015. On February 26, the court of Mahilou’s Leninski district
sentenced the political prisoners to an additional year in a maximum
security correctional facility for violating article 411 of the Criminal
Code (disobeying orders of prison staff). The court of appeal upheld the
verdict on April 30.
In the midday hours of May 20, members of the People’s Defense Units (YPG) along with the Women’s Defense Units (YPJ) managed to completely liberate Mt. Abd al-Aziz (Kizwanan) from Daesh terrorists; in this way they achieved another historical victory through a resolute operation against the group that lasted for 14 consecutive days in Heseke countryside, Cizire Region, Rojava.
On Saturday, May 23, an activist of Autonomous Workers’ Union was attacked in the downtown Kyiv. The motives for the attack were political. The attackers had set up a meeting with the artist Dmitry M., posing as customers for his services. When Dmitry arrived, the two guys menacingly suggested to “go and talk somewhere else” and attacked him outright after his refusal. The fight was over in no time, as some passers-by intervened — the attackers withdrew, shouting their excuses: “He was the first to snitch on us on the Internet!”
The activist wasn’t injured; however, this act cannot be ignored. This set-up meeting was arranged neither by the police agents nor by boneheads, but by our Belarusian “comrades” – former political prisoner Alyaksandr Franzkevich and his friend Maxim aka “The Belarusian”. Count 1: Used a dangerous instrument to cause death or danger [18 U.S.C. § 111(a)(1) and (b)]—maximum 20 years in prison
Count 2: Attempted to damage or destroy a building by fire or explosives [18 U.S.C. § 844(i)]—minimum 5 years, maximum 20 years in prison

The state alleges that Eric was responsible for an attempted firebombing on a Kansas government building. If convicted he faces anywhere from 5 to 30 years in Federal prison. His trial is set for Monday, July 13th at 9am.
The state exists to dominate and oppress the people. Rebellion exists to challenge and ultimately destroy the state. When the state singles out people to punish for acts of rebellion, we must support them as part of our struggle against this oppressive apparatus. Read the rest of this entry »
325 presents the first chapter of the inspiring book ‘Radical Peace: People Refusing War’, which, according to the author, William T. Hathaway, one of our regular readers enjoying our site, is “the true stories of anarchists who have moved beyond demonstrations and petitions into direct action, becoming criminals for peace by defying the government’s laws and impeding its capacity to kill”. The author is a US special forces combat veteran turned anarchist peace activist. Whilst it shouldn’t need to be repeated that 325 embraces not only revolutionary violence but a diversity of tactics, we “can understand those who hate violence to the point of wanting to banish it from their life; would never kill, would never use force to make themselves felt; those who, because of their own character and aptitude, prefer not to have recourse to it” [see Escalation].
Criminals for Peace Introduction to the book RADICAL PEACE: People Refusing War
By William T. Hathaway
How do we defuse an aggressive culture? How do we end an endless war?
A new group of war resisters, deserters, and anarchists from the USA, Europe, Iraq, and Afghanistan offers a variety of answers to these conundrum questions. In opposing militarism we’ve moved beyond demonstrations and petitions into direct action, flouting the government’s laws and impeding its ability to kill. As criminals for peace, we’re defying the PATRIOT Act and working underground in secret cells to undermine the US military empire.
I’m the spokesperson for the group because I live outside the “homeland” and as a Special Forces combat veteran I’m used to being under attack.
We’ve become outlaws out of despair. Obama’s morphing into a war president was the last straw. By continuing the aggression he’d promised to stop, he’s shown himself to be just another imperialist killing thousands of people to maintain US power. He portrayed his latest plan for Afghanistan as progress towards peace, but it really paves the way for long-term fighting as we now have in Iraq: US bases and support troops will stay indefinitely to prop up the local army. The killing will continue, but mercenaries and local soldiers will be doing most of it while the USA provides back-up. Just as many people will die, but far fewer will be Americans, so the war will disappear from the news and people’s minds. This is not a plan for peace but for endless war. Marco Camenisch: ROS – psychiatry assumes the power to define the execution of probation and correctional law
The office for probation and corrections services of the cantonal Office for the Execution of Penal Sentences and Justice sabotages all efforts aiming at easing the situation of imprisonment of Marco or to grant parole for him. The office for enforcement 3 (SMV3) uses a clearly political argumentation: As an unbroken anarchist he can not be released from prison, and by drawing up an ROS report (risk-oriented sanctions enforcement), a kind of “Materials Testing Institution”, they acquire new arguments.
For some time the penal system is being aggressively colonized by psychiatry and psychology in Zurich as in prisons elsewhere. The report of the forensic psychiatric department from 31.3.2015, provides a “risk-oriented sanctions enforcement” assessment, a new evaluating development, since the report explicitly uses psychiatric argumentation only and for the first time formulates specific “recommendations”. Urbaniok’s psychiatry distributes contact prohibitions – defines political distancing or rather political renunciation as a requirement for conditional release. The big word is and remains the “crime-promoting ideology”! Read the rest of this entry »

In the afternoon on May 11, 2015 anarchists and anti-authoritarians occupied for several hours the headquarters of multinational company Siemens in Marousi, Athens, Greece, in the context of Class War, asking for German and European workers solidarity in the fight against the Greek and European capitalist system.
