In the very early hours of Wednesday morning [9/1/13], we carried out a couple of swift acts of love and self-defence. Two G4S vehicles had their tires slashed, paint stripped and windows smashed. We did this as signal of solidarity to our friends in Nottingham HMP and as special message to our friend in Rome Elisa Di Bernardo whose courage and devotion is inspiration to us.
G4S are a global corporation which profits from the torture and caging of the working class throughout the world. They imprison and torture in order to maintain the capitalist order of things, and in our view should be attacked at every opportunity. The men and women murdered by G4S and the industrial prison complex it is inseparable from increases every day. The numbers whose lives are ripped apart by G4S every hour. Our hatred for G4S and our love for our brothers and sisters increases every second. Our gesture on Tuesday night was small, but it was repeatable, and we will repeat it and others like it.
Fuck the prisons.
For freedom, for friendship.

On New Year’s Eve around 30 people turned up outside the gates of Nottingham prison to make some noise and show solidarity with the people being held inside. We toured the perimeter of the fence with a sound-system, banging pots and pans against the side of the fence, chanting and shouting, whilst fireworks were set off and thrown over the walls.
A parent of one of the prisoners had this to say afterwards:
‘‘Thanks very much for doing this. My son says it’s fucking amazing and when he heard the shouting he said it made him smile. Too many working class boys are in prison and it’s all because everything is unequal and the rich ones are taking the piss. But it’s great that you did that and that people inside heard. Love and respect to all of you’’.
This was just one of many prisoner solidarity demos that happened around the world on New Year’s Eve. The prison system is a brutal and violent means of repression and control by the state that needs to be challenged and resisted in our struggle for freedom. Noise demos are just one small way of breaking the isolation that prisoners are subjected to, letting them know that they are not forgotten.

This year on the 28th and 29th of April there will be an Anti-Prison gathering in Nottingham.
We are organising this gathering not with the intention of forming another organisation which will stagger and fall almost immediately. But in order for those of us of an anti-state and anti-capitalist position towards the prison society may for one weekend share our experiences and understandings of the current situation. (more…)

A visit to Nottingham Prison last night [12/10] culminated in a fire being started underneath a prison vehicle. It had just gone nine when we arrived and after tagging some nearby walls with the messages of “Fire to the Prisons” and “Solidarity to those kidnapped”, we quickly and quietly stepped to the vehicles, lit our fires and took off quickly into the night.
This attack was not a request, or a demand that the prisons improve, or that the judicial system becomes more fair. We attacked because our comrades have been kidnapped, and we will show solidarity in anyway we can. Solidarity to all those captured during and after the riots, to the anti-fascists imprisoned because of the usual web of lies spun by the cops and their pals, and to all those who feel the urge to resist whenever the moment seems ripe. We did this in order to show solidarity with the actions of the IRF Bristol’s action at the Law courts a few nights ago, and to our Cambridge brothers and sisters acting with such fierce love and rage.
The prisons are where they hold us when they can not control us, they are the threat they hold over us, but what they can not understand is that the greater threat to us is for us not to act. For us to be stifled by the conditions and the conditioning of this society. When we act in away that unleashes our rage, when we act in away that brings us joy then we are able to unleash a glorious FUCK YOU! A FUCK YOU with blood and spittle, a FUCK YOU directed plainly at those who benefit most from this diseased social system.

New attack in Nottingham against the murderous Group 4 Security / G4S. No Borders – No Prisons – No State. Originally posted anonymously on IMC UK, whose admins took it down:
24 June 2011
Last night shortly after 11pm a G4 security guard was followed home from his local pub and before he reached his door was quickly beaten. Later that night two G4S vehicles had their windows smashed and exhaust pipes destroyed using expanding foam.
We carried out this attack knowing full well that there would be those who would criticize it for being the work of thugs out for cheap thrills. And we knew there would be others that would state that the attack of individual workers is ineffective and a poor choice of a target. To this we say, everyday G4S guards play their role in the institutional violence carried out against prisoners around the world, occasionally a story creeps out that this guard or that guard got carried away and a prisoner has ended up in hospital or has been murdered. But these stories are not exceptional, the beatings and the violence are the way of life of G4S guard, it is their role in this sick society. We acknowledge the systematic effects that mean working class men and women wish to find work which is stable, secure and financially rewarding, we merely wish to encourage the idea that working for G4S is the work of a mercenary. That in choosing to work for G4S you are choosing to be on the side of the racist, patriarchal system which in the end benefits only those from the elite governing classes. The guard who was attacked last night knows where we stand, as he was given a copy of this message, hopefully he’ll pass it along to his colleagues.
The two vehicles were attacked, because we are filled with hatred for G4S and everything they do, we know it’s not the G4S staff who are solely to blame, but the giant corporation which profits from the imprisonment, torture and murder of our brothers and sisters.
We remember Jimmy Mubenga, an Angolan man murdered by G4S.
This action is in solidarity with all who resist the way the things are, including the anti-fascists currently being oppressed in Nizhniy Novgorod, Russia.

“Direct action was taken against Ken Clarke’s constituency offices on Thursday. While doughnut eating cops were dozing near by, the Tory social club on Rectory Road, West Bridgford had its doors D-locked shut and “Tory Scum” painted on it. The offices of the Rushcliffe Conservative Association across the road were attacked with paint and the messages “Class War” and “Fuck Ken in the Head” were painted. (more…)

“In the early hours of this morning a G4S vehicle was set on fire in North Nottingham. A container of petrol was poured on the bonnet and a match was tossed. As we fled the scene we remembered our friends who have been detained, deported, tortured and murdered by Group 4.
This was not an act of bravery, nor was it enough to avenge all those who have who have been tormented by the prison machine. It was however a sign of our intent. A sign that we will not accept this society as the way things have to be.
The struggle against social control is something we must participate in, and to do that we must attack those that participate in the maintenance of society. Whether these attacks are large or small they are what we must do to stay true to ourselves and our desire for a society without domination.
G4S have profited, and will continue to profit from the prison society which is an attack on the marginalised, the working class, the “non-white”, in fact on all of us who are not part of the elite. So Fuck G4S, fuck all those who seek to, or profit from the imprisonment of our friends, the oppression of our families and the attempt to control us. We will not be controlled, we will attack again and again, because we are filled with love, compassion and pure unadulterated rage.

“In the early hours of this morning individuals who choose to be nameless attacked two points of this society’s infrastructure, we used different methods each time, but maintained the same quality of love and hate throughout. In both Bulwell and West Bridgford T3 mobile masts where set on fire. We used car tires we had left nearby days earlier, bundles of rags coated in petrol and disposable lighter. A little later we took our knives, our paint stripper and our expanding foam to work on two e-on vehicles and a G4 van. We choose these methods due the close proximity of the vehicles drivers and surveillance. The knives took on the tires, the paint stripper the bodies of the vehicles and the expanding foam destroyed the exhaust pipes.
These action was carried out because we know that in order to be free the infrastructure of dominant society must be destroyed, we recognise that this infrastructure is cultural and social as well as physical, and that in order for us to survive all aspects must be challenged. However, these actions were also carried out because we can not always wait, because we are hungry and impatient in our search for freedom, and each time we act against the totality of this society with our force we find a little bit more freedom from the social prison we find ourselves in. Basically they were a FUCK YOU to every aspect of oppression. Fuck you we are getting read. Fuck you we are becoming less afraid by the day. Fuck you our lives will be our own.
For us these actions live side by side with all actions where individuals decide that they wish to take their lives into their own hands. We believe that those actions can take the form of occupying banks, they can take the form of informal education collectives, they can take the form of banner drops and peoples kitchens. They can take the form of all kinds of things, and they need to be if we are to destroy all forms of domination.
But we choose these actions because they represent us, they are a manifestation of our fury and our disgust, they are a physical representation of our refusal to obey the joyless status quo.
We dedicate these actions to the friends we know who still feel caged. These actions are in solidarity with our friends in Bologna Martino Trevisan, Robert Ferro, Nicusor Roman, Stefania Carolei, and Pistolesi Anna Maria, who have been imprisoned due their dedication to a liberated anarchist world. This action is for all comrades fighting for a way out of societies jaws.”

“Last night just after midnight police station on Wollaton Road, Nottingham was attacked with glass jars filled with black paint. We send this loving kiss to Jock Palfreeman and all those who represented for the eternal struggle against domination on the streets of London this weekend.
We chose our target to emphasise the fragility and weakness of the state. If their first line of defence can be hurt with such ease then cracks in the status quo will grow and begin to bleed. We view the cops as the security guards of capitalists, protecting property, reinforcing white supremacy and state control. With this action we show their inability to protect themselves.
As things get worse, as the divisions between the capitalists and the rest become deeper and more entrenched the fascism inherent in any police force will become ever more clear. As this become the case it will be important for us to know in our angry little hoodlum hearts that we can strike back whenever we choose to.
In doing this we did not forever alter the state of things, but we did forever alter the strength and resolve within ourselves as we prepare for all out social war.
The love in our hearts is offered up with this action to Jock Palfreeman imprisoned by the Bulgarian arm of state power for refusing to cower in the face of racism and fascism. Also to the 14 Chilean anarchists currently on hunger strike, physically captured by the industrial prison complex, but still free in their hearts and strong in their resistance. We won’t let them be forgotten.
Finally to those who rebelled against state control on the streets of London, those black clad lovers and fighters who strove to liberate themselves. Solidarity to those who were arrested on Saturday.
Not because they’re innocent.
Not because they’re peaceful.
But because they’re comrades.”

“Last night the windows of Nat West Bank on Mansfield Road were smashed out, and anti-capitalist graffiti was left on the side of the building. We did this because we refuse to submit to the will of capitalism. Every single day that goes our love and rage grow. Love for our friends and comrades around the world. Rage at the forces which try to cripple their spirit and oppress all efforts to find freedom in their lives. Nat West bank is owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland who violently support the destruction of the earth and the prison system, they are merely one aspect of the system entrapping everything it comes into contact with. And this action was just one small gesture against all its claims.
Until capitalism, white supremacy, and patriarchy are destroyed we will find ways in which to fight back. We remember those who have fought before us and we search for those who will fight with us.
Love and Solidarity to Simos Seisidis and all those who are caged by this society and its culture.
Yesterday we sharpened our teeth, as we prepare to fight back.”

“In the earlier hours of Wednesday morning the Nottingham Probation Services Office on Derby Road was attacked. Four of it’s vehicles had their paint stripped, tyres slashed and locks glued shut. All the doors to the building were also glued.
This was just a gesture, a middle finger flicked up at the prison system. To that system we say Fuck your attempts to control our lives, fuck you for imprisoning our comrades, and fuck your surveillance because we will not be stopped from having these moments. These moments where the industrial prison complex, the culture of domination and capitalism can not stop us from responding with anger and disgust at the world that has been created.
This action is done in solidarity with all prisoners. We do not differentiate between those who have been imprisoned for their political beliefs and those who are imprisoned because they were not born into a position of wealth and power. This action was for those who have spent their lives having their actions criminalized by the elite, and it is for those anarchist prisoners around the world who aim to destroy the elite.”

“The Tory offices in Nottingham were last night visited by individuals who hate Tory scum. We smashed some windows, painted some messages including “Fight the cuts” and “Tory Scum”.
We did this because we are sick of politicians attacking common people on behalf of the rich. Politicians who have no idea what the lives of common people consist of, and should have no control over their our lives.
We did this because we believe in acting autonomously with the rage in our hearts. And we did this in solidarity with those arrested for being at Millbank, and all people who are getting fucked over by the cuts and capitalism on a daily basis.”

“A violent tool of the state and capitalism, bailiffs are a tool on the poor and as such deserve to be treated with fury and contempt. And last night they were.
M.A Julius and Co. of New Basford, Nottingham were paid a visit last night. Their windows were smashed and messages were left, “Fuck the Rich”, “Leave our homes alone” and “Fuck Bailiffs” were painted on the walls of their offices.
This was in solidarity with all of those, including ourselves who have had the indignity from being evicted from homes because the system we live in rewards the selfish greed of the privileged few and punishes the excluded and marginalized. As the cuts come more and more people will struggle to cope, and more and more will be put into debt, and more and more will have their doors broken down by agents of the capitalism. This action is a sign that there will be retaliation, that the controllers of capital and their stooges will not have it all their own way.
Smash the rich and fuck capital. Hammer and Paint”

Over the past three week three mobile phone antennas have been destroyed by fire in the Nottingham area. In each instance the action was performed with fervour and carried out in anger at the capitalist culture. A culture which seeks to dominate its surroundings in order to increase it’s power over it’s inhabitants.
These actions were simple and repeatable. The tools were old rags, flammable liquids and a lighter. They were carried out against a telecommunications industry which facilitates capitalisms ongoing destruction of the planet and the manner in which it deforms the social relationships we engage in.
We carry out this action, and actions like it in solidarity with all those who choose to fight against repression, the state and capitalism whenever and wherever the opportunity arises.
We dedicate this action to all those who are imprisoned by civilization, but continue to struggle against its cage.
