[Text for a gathering in memory of Sebastian Oversluij that took place in an anarchist squat in Chile]
One can never be really lost unless oblivion wraps one in her arms.
It’s been three years now that comrade Sebastian Oversluij does not walk anymore through the paths of searching for the wild beauty of anarchist action. It’s been three years now that some of our brothers and sisters there in Chile feel his absence stretching their hearts. It is three years since the bullets of a sneak-security guard of the “Banco Estado” took his life, extinguishing the flame of the anarchist spirit that used to burn inside him.
But we, in our turn, as well as many others, we are not willing to let our comrade disappear in the fog of oblivion. We honor our brother just like we honor his choice of passing into action, attacking a bank-a temple of money, emptying the enemy’s wallet, expropriating the minimum that we should get comparing to what authority expropriates from our own lives. The bank robbery carried out by an anarchist always carries inside the seed of refusal. The refusal to submit to a world where you’re restricted to sell your soul to the cruel laws of free market, so that you can live to work and work to consume and consume to fill in your existential gaps with a pile of useless objects.
We know that we are very far away and that our words have to cross an entire ocean to reach you. But we hope you’ll be able to feel the affinity we all feel with all those who discover the ways to keep our brothers close to us at the events, in discussions, in our imagination, but above all in the continuing of spreading the constant anarchist revolt itself.

“For June 11th, international day of solidarity and action for the anarchist prisoners throughout the world”
Prison has the terrifying ability to leave its own indelible imprints on the bodies and minds of its residents.
Imprints of sorrow, frustration, violence, asphyxia, enforcement. Doors that keep locking and unlocking everyday at the same time with exactly the same awful sound in a monotonous rhythm of a murderous routine that drips its poison of immobility and vanity slowly and painfully.
A brief description about the distillation of sepsis that is being produced by incarceration is enough to become understandable of the hate we feel towards prisons.
That’s why every time a prison break succeeds, every time that a penal officer is being paid an uninvited visit, every time that a prison director or police sergeant pays the price of his despicable choices, our hearts fill with a unique feeling of enjoyment and pleasure. Because revenge for the captivity can’t help but to find its incarnation over the constant assaults against the prison’s representatives. (more…)

On the 20th of April starts the second grade trial not only for the C.C.F. Case and some of its actions, but also for some other different cases of anarchists accused for actions of revolutionary violence. All these cases were attached to each other in a single trial, in order to serve many different and parallel judiciary manipulations against all those accused.
Regarding ourselves, we make it clear that towards the legal processes of this court, as well as any of its issues, we are completely indifferent. But even if the legal dimension is not one of our concerns, we’re interested in taking advantage of this opportunity to defend once more the action of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, to convert one more court-trial into an arena where anarchy stands against the enemies of freedom. A chance to confront again the technocrat servants of Justice and show that they are responsible for the misery that their existence carries.
The starting point of the state’s repression, the raid and invasion at the house in Halandri on 23/09/2009 and the arrest of Haris Hadzimihelakis – a member of the Conspiracy as well as that of others related to the case or not, and the barrage of persecutions that followed was a strong surprise for an important part of anarchy. It is a fact that a great shadow of fear spread causing a generalized numbness which contributed to the halting of the aggressive polymorphy that occurred during the period 2008-2009, as direct action decreased steeply.
At the upcoming trial inside the courtroom, a section of the history of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, which the state seeks to punish through the dead letters of the pages of the penal code which constitutes the peak of repression against the anarchist prisoners, will live again.
The dozens of arson attacks against state and capitalist targets, the bombings of politicians’ homes, the arrest warrants, captivity, illegality, the upgraded explosive devices in courts, prisons, banks, homes of fascists and other enemies of the revolutionary cause, are our own subversive experience as it proceeded through the Conspiracy, and we will defend it as such.
By defending politically our actions, we want to make it clear that we remain impenitent for our choices and actions through the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, and we aim to abolish the mapping of our history with the laws and the “wooden” language of the judges and instead impart to it its real characteristics, those of the decision of an anarchist group to arm themselves and carry out attacks against the system and its servants.
The fact that after so many years in prison we continue consistently supporting anarchy, the urban guerrilla and the option of all-out attack against the existent is our way to remain deniers of this society and its civilization.
Seven years later therefore, we don’t regret anything. The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire is more than a simple tool. It’s part of our own life and we’re never going to renounce it.
Because if time could turn back we would still walk the same path, because the fire of anarchist revolt still burns in our hearts.
Today more than ever there is a need to coordinate our passion to destroy the authoritative structures that surround us and to throw ourselves into a battle seeking freedom through thousands of acts that tries to disrupt the normality of the social machine.
The nuclei of the Informal Anarchist Federation, anonymous comrades who disturb the peace of the capitalist metropoles with their attacks, the polymorphous anarchist action trimming the function of sovereignty, the Black December project, the Insurrectionary Association of Theory and Action, is nothing but pieces of a mosaic of actions that build again an anarchy that is a real danger for power and its civilization.
Let’s turn these plans into an everyday war against the state and let’s venture into the ceaseless battle for the resurgence of the constant anarchist insurrection.
The bet is still open…

Imprisoned member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, Theofilos Mavropoulos, is in a serious state of worsening health in a critical condition in the hospital. According to the laboratory tests he showed electrolyte imbalance, which is being addressed by physicians, while respecting his personal choice to continue his hunger strike.
This comes as the ‘Ministry of Justice’ gave notice that it would delay the decision about if to release or not the family and relatives of CCF, gambling with their lives. The Ministry is expected to announce a decision tomorrow on that of the CCF relatives, and that of the general demands of the hunger strikers on the 30th March. In this way, prolonging the hungers strike in the hope to annihilate the comrades, the government are gambling with their own lives and all those of the representatives of the Greek state and economic interests. Revenge.
Solidarity with the hunger strike
Immediate satisfaction of the demands
Fire and bloodshed to SY.RIZ.A & ANEL
Friday, March 20th, 2015
Comrade–hunger striker Theofilos Mavropoulos (striker since 2/3 – member of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire) was transferred today [March 19] to the hospital of Korydallos prison because of intense dizziness and pains in the belly and kidneys.
He is currently located in the the State General Hospital of Nikea.
Victory to the hunger strikers, immediate satisfaction of their demands.
Not a step back
Comrade–hunger striker George Polydoros was transferred to a hospital outside prison. The comrade had undergone blood tests and doctors felt that the test should be repeated, because of some of the measurements which were not clear if there was something disturbing or not. So, while at first the comrade was moved to “Saint Paul” prison hospital, the fact that there is no equipment for conducting blood tests there, resulted in him being transferred to a hospital outside prison.
Victory to the hunger strike of our comrades, immediate satisfaction of their demands.
If something happens a hunger striker, nothing will be left unanswered.
People in solidarity with the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire

CCF Escape case: “DE PROFUNDIS” – a communiqué from the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – Imprisoned Members Cell (Greece)

We had no intention of contributing to the continuing of the public downfall and inner cannibalism that broadened with skillful architecturing by the police, journalists and the miserable interview given by Xiros. But misery reigns…
i) Once a snitch… always a traitor
What is more infuriating than the snitch of 17th November talking about morality… He who, in his preliminary statements in 2002 (they are published on internet) was whining and begging the cops to go easy on him, as a return for his cooperation with persecution authorities.
What is more challenging than the snitch being presented as the critic of the “movement”. He who, until this day, hasn’t even apologized to his former comrades for the life-long sentences he “offered” them with his unbiased confessions to the counter-terrorism agency (without them even so much as slapping him).
What is more contradictory than the ridiculous aspiring petty leader asking for the collective procedures and diversity to be respected. In his raving where he was impersonating the reincarnation of Karaiskakis, he was exhibiting an authority complex that was testing the nerves of the comrades, who were putting up with him and helping him to escape for an entire year, with huge patience and by risking their life and freedom from the cops. Korydallos Prisons: 'Communique of War' by Conspiracy of Cells of Fire / FAI-IRF – Imprisoned Members Cell (Greece)
Friday, January 9th, 2015
“First I shot him in the mouth to stop him talking crap;
then I shot him in the arm to stop him writing crap”
Jacques Mesrine on the kidnapping of a French journalist
The dirty war and the vulgarity of the journalists in regards to the case of the attempted escape of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire has no end. Targeting comrade Angeliki, emotionally blackmailing her parents, and spreading vile lies about her alleged relationship as a girlfriend of the one who has been arrested.
Angeliki is a friend of rebellion, anarchy, freedom.
If there were more people like Angeliki, struggle and anarchy would be the only possible reality.
SCUMBAGS SNITCHES JOURNALISTS – WE WILL TAKE REVENGE.
SOLIDARITY AND POWER by any means possible to comrade Angeliki and to all those wanted in connection to the same case.
The Cells will always stand by you…

We will not give away a single word that would unlock information for the enemy. Escaping from prison is the only aim and purpose of a captive anarchist urban guerrilla. The word “escape” holds the concentrated sense of freedom which blows up the walls of prison that locked our lives. We, the captive anarchists of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, have never forgotten this word even if though most have forgotten us. The judges have condemned us to live for years as human shadows inside the locked buildings, but they have never been able to lock up our unruly desires.
Every night in the wanderings of our minds we escape into a world without prisons, armed guards and locked souls. And even if every morning the guard’s key brings us back to the concrete reality of prison, we know that at some point our day will come and we will dream of our anarchy with open eyes. The sound of the lock as it closes forges our hatred for prison. Every failure, every arrest, every mistake makes us even more stubborn. If we fall three times, we will rise four.
There is no victory or defeat, there is only struggle. We know that the anarchist urban guerrilla and the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire is a battle against all odds. In this battle weapons, explosives, hideouts, cars, money, may be lost but all of them can be found again. What is not lost are the comrades who made us feel that our day would come and we would say “goodbye” to prison without return. (more…)

When a door closes behind you, another opens ahead. That is how we felt when the door of the prison opened, closing the door on the era when we were free…
A new world appeared before us. A world narrow and built of concrete, where good day and good night are abolished.
Prison is a shadow apart in the transparent galley of democracy. Here, time is uncountable and days push slowly against each other, melancholically, indifferent, mechanical. Here, the seasons of the year die within a calendar hung on the wall, and nostalgia takes its revenge, disinterring memories, emotions, loved ones, sceneries and thoughts that never materialized into praxis.
But the wolf that exists within us stays awake and hungry. All these days, all these months, all these years we feed it with thoughts, desires, concerns, plans, rage, and it swallows the bars, the barbed wire, and the locks to run free again some unknown day.

5th April 2013: 4th trial for the Conspiracy Cells of Fire case.
One more trial for the actions of the CCF began at Koridallos prisons.
Besides the members of the Conspiracy accused in the same case are also Dimitris Politis, Giannis Mihailidis, Giorgos Karagiannidis, Alexandros Mitrousias, Kostas Sakkas and Stella Antoniou (who are also accused in the third trial which is taking place as well) and Kostandina Karakatsani and Panagiotis Masouras.
Theofilos Mavropoulos read a common statement of the now ten members of the CCF, after which all members of the organization left the room.
“As I have stated in a previous court and in older public texts, I have been next to the comrades of the CCF as a solidarian anarchist, without however being a member of the Conspiracy. From the first moment of my arrest after the shoot out with the cops in Pefki, the comrades of the Conspiracy stood next to me like brothers. Inside prison we shared common worries, tensions and forged our steel passion for liberation through our common escape attempt in December 2011. Today for me the CCF is an inseparable piece of my thought, my desires and my personal mutiny for anarchy.
This is why as of today, here in your court, I state that I join the CCF and share together with the imprisoned and non arrested members the endless course to the anarchist insurrection. Participating now in the Conspiracy, I will read a collective statement for this trial. All of us, the members of the CCF, want to clarify some things.
In this trial, besides us who have taken the responsibility for our participation and support of the Conspiracy, all other accused do not have, neither have any relation with the charges attributed to them.
They never were, neither could ever be members of the Conspiracy.
An ocean of disagreements, perceptions and choices divides us…
The CCF and FAI is an international network of anarchists of praxis
who stand against the enemy with the certainty of those who play it all or nothing and refuse the proof of innocence and legal mitigations.
The Conspiracy and the Informal Anarchist Federation through their hundreds of attacks express the black anarchy which sets fire to the silence of the many and cowardice of the reformists.
All the charges in your indictments are a piece of the anarchist history and the armed course of the Conspiracy through the social desert of mass subjugation.
It is our compass in the unmapped unknown of the anarchist insurrection.
It is the unique moment where theory meets practice.
It is there where the law dies and anarchy is born.
It is there where the sounds of the explosions and the gun shots break the calmness of the crowd.
These moments are our moments. These history is our history.
A history which cannot be put on trial, neither finishes inside the court room.
We are the gasoline, the gun powder, the detonator, the bullet, the gun.
The only thing you will get from us is war.
The Conspiracy is, was, itself.
This is our Anarchy”.
G.Mihailidis read a common statement of his and D.Politis and then left the procedure.
“Give us a copy”, asked the chairman, “this statement is not for you”, answered D.Politis, while the cops were cuffing them.
“We state that: We refuse to participate in the procedure of the court, not only because it is a mean of the state to demean and bend the anarchist struggle, not only because its function aims at the respite of anarchist action, but mainly because we do not recognize any institutional representative of the bourgeois democracy to judge people.
As anarchist revolutionaries we stand hostile against the bourgeios justice which sends people to the rot of imprisonment in order to defend the criminal lawful order of capitalism. Also, we support the anarchist revolutionary war in every of its forms.
We are part of the violent and guerilla action and will defend it as an inseparable part of the struggle.”
The trial continued on April 15th.

Excerpt from Theofilos Mavropoulos' Statement at Session 1 (Friday, April 5) of Fourth CCF Trial (Greece)
Monday, April 8th, 2013
Received from This is our Job:
“As I’ve already stated during the previous trial and in the texts I’ve released over time, I stood beside my comrades in the Fire Cells Conspiracy as anarchist in solidarity, but without being a member of the Conspiracy.
From the first moment of my arrest, after exchanging gunshots with the pigs in Pefki, my comrades in the Conspiracy stood beside me as brothers and sisters. Inside prison, we have shared concerns, anxieties, and tensions. We forged our passion from steel—a passion for freedom—after the escape we attempted together in December 2011.
For me, right now the Fire Cells Conspiracy is already an inseparable part of my thinking, my desires, and my personal rebellion for anarchy. Therefore, here in these courts of yours, I declare that as of today I am joining the Fire Cells Conspiracy, and I share the endless path of anarchist insurrection together with the imprisoned members and those who haven’t been arrested….”

Received from ‘This is our Job’.
All decisions, when it’s a question of freedom, contain death within them. We, through this death, must attain life: a deep breath before the endless journey.
An armed clash took place in Pefki between two anarchists and the police force.
Two of their dogs, Leontopoulos and Drosos, tried to arrest me and my comrade. Our response was armed resistance and the rejection of surrender, with the goal of preserving our freedom, which—as anarchists—we value so much.
The results are well-known: my comrade escaped by stealing a patrol car, while I was wounded and arrested. Also wounded were the two police officers, whom I fired at first, managing to catch them by surprise. Without any doubt, if the pigs had died and the two of us—my comrade and I—had remained unharmed, we would have gotten away.
Additionally—regardless of the fact that my operational priority was to disengage and escape—it would be an honor for me if at the same time I had the blood of two police officers on my hands, not just because they were going to arrest me, but simply and solely because they were police officers. Anger Unit / ICR-FAI-IRF torch 3 buildings owned by the Major of Aceh Tamiang, Hamdan Sati (Indonesia)
Wednesday, April 3rd, 2013
We speak through fire. To remember and always keep on our mind, our sisters and brothers who are kidnapped by the state and seized behind bars. To continue the urban guerrilla warfare against enemies of freedom. Let the action speak for us.
On March 31, we burned down 3 buildings owned by the Major of Aceh Tamiang, Hamdan Sati. This is our first action done in Aceh, a region where religious fundamentalists in the past threw 64 punks into a rehabilitation camp and made them ‘normal’. But, we want to clarify that we aren’t Acehnese. We have no citizenship because we are borderless. We are the angry ones who light the fire of freedom.
Solidarity to the imprisoned members of CCF and Th. Mavropoulos, Camenisch, da Silva and Italian comrades arrested during the Ardire, Thor, and Mangifuoco operations and to Cospito and Gai. And last but not least, we salute our fire to comrades of Kozani 4 who were recently arrested.

Last night [10/1/13], we did it once again. Direct action based on our revolutionary values, as nihilists, as individualists and as an expression of the hatred of this society. Covered by the night, we burned a private car in Tomohon (small city in North Sulawesi), owned by an unknown person. It was a car located near the local TV station in that town. A car as a symbol of slavery, eco-disaster and the meaninglessness of life.
We believe, through direct action each revolutionary can speak, even separated by continents and nation-state borders. We believe that revolutionary actions speak loud and reach our sisters and brothers in the Informal Anarchist Federation – International Revolutionary Front.
We dedicate our action to our brother in arms, Panagiotis Argirou, –revolutionary and proud member of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire— who fell down and has to face surgery. When we heard this news, it hurt our heart. We burned a car to send our warmest revolutionary greetings to you, comrade. To let our enemies know that no revolutionary will be left alone. Strength brother! Fire of health for you.
To other members of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and revolutionary anarchist, T. Mavropoulos: all of you are never alone. Our actions are also your revenge.
Not to forget to mention our brothers in Italy who are kidnapped by the state and are seized behind bars. To Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai. Our hearts always with both of you.
We also want to send our revolutionary greetings to Villa Amalias and all the free spaces that are invaded by our enemies. To all squatters who are kidnapped by pigs of the state. Your bravery inspires us to keep our heads up. ‘Fire’ is how we spell solidarity.
And to all anarchist prisoners: to Ivan and Carla, Freddy, Marcelo and Juan, in Chile, to Henry in Bolivia, to John Bowden, to Gabriel Pombo da Silva, to Marco Camenisch, and others around the world. This fire is a metaphor of hugs from us full of respect, solidarity and anger against Power.

As soon as the chairwoman completed the reading of the names of the accused (during which the members of the CCF, wanting to demean the procedure, refused to reply) the comrades of the Conspiracy interrupted the procedure, and one of the members made the following statement:
“All these days we listened to lawyers and prosecutors quoting legal arguments on the matter of the ‘political trial’. We listened to a language foreign to us, because we are not lawful, we are anarchist urban guerrillas. This is why we will speak in our own language. The CCF is an armed, insurrectionist, anarchist guerrilla group. Its action was, is and will be subversive. This is self-evident, and it can be seen even in the language used against us by the enemy. You established just for us special legislation, special procedures, special detainment conditions, special courts, like this one here. The indictment itself, which you wrote up, says that we threatened the political, social and economic structures of the state. But, in the decision that you will come to -or rather the decision your superiors gave you to transfer to us- you will say that the Conspiracy is not an anarchist guerrilla group. (more…)
