Letter from the Imprisoned Members Cell of the C.C.F. about the 13 arrested outside the house of Baltas, Athens (Greece)

On the 4 April 2011 a group of people stopped outside of the house of special appeals interrogator Konstantinos Baltas (who handles the case of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire), that is in the northern suburbs of Athens, they shouted chants and threw flyers. 13 people were arrested after the end of the intervention…

“The days of this society are numbered, its rights and charms are separated in two parts of which one wishes its destruction”

On Tuesday 5th of April behind the walls of the prisons arrived the news that some comrades carried out a dynamic intervention outside the house of special appeals interrogator K.Baltas in the Maroussi area, who has taken the role of the inquisitor in the cases of urban guerrilla. The comrades with this act reversed the terms of the “game”. If the mafia of special interrogators and public prosecutors believe that from the safety of their guarded offices they can imprison freedom and the undisciplined boldness of those who attack the democracy of directors and bother their relative and friendly environment, without having reprisals, they are fooling themselves. The “visit” of the comrades proves that the inquisitors of the laws, apart from names, also have houses and addresses.

However, precisely here, it is worth for someone to realize the freedom of democracy, as long as they remove for a while the television plug, that they have permanently installed in their head. After the intervention of comrades the coward pigs of the DIAS force (who when they finish their service remove their insignias in order to not be located) arrested 13 of them. The arrest charges are itself the content of distribution of revolutionary word and solidarity. It is easy for someone to realize that the thought-police are not a distant sciencefiction scenario.

Simply, the certificates of beliefs of the post civil war era found a new name in the years of the democratic coup d’etat.

We from inside prison cordially send the strongest greeting to the act of the comrades and express our unlimited solidarity to them. Because we consider that solidarity is a process of recognition between the “guilty” in the case of freedom, that is in a continuous development and interaction, since we meet even if just mentally in a community of ideas, choices and practices. It has nothing to do with the political identification, but with the essential position of battle against the system. That you recognize the struggle of the other as one more stab in the sides of authority.
