Football and Anarchism
Sports receive little attention in anarchist circles, despite being a central part of social life. As the world’s most popular sport, football engages millions of people on an everyday level and, inevitably, has strong political dimensions. Gabriel Kuhn, author of “Soccer vs. the State” and a former semi-professional football player, will discuss what this means for anarchists, both as players and supporters. Is it possible for football to be a “tool of liberation” rather than an “opiate for the masses”?
19:00 – 20:00
The Anarchist Library / Anarhisticka biblioteka
The Anarchist Library/Anarhisticka biblioteka is multi-linugual anarchist project of digitalization and text collecting, and it’s free distribution through this virtual library. It collects anarchist texts, but also different texts covering wide range of human knowledge and experience, which as anarchists we can reccomend to each other.
Project first started in english, but today it exists in russian, suomi, spanish and our language.
Local Anarhisticka biblioteka started just after last years bookfair in Zagreb, and until today it collected aorund 300 titles, from short texts to full books.
At the presentation of the library we’ll talk about reasons why library was created, problems and advantages of this project, technical aspects, and problem of technology, because this is not one more proposal of “internet and technological revolution”.

Surveillance technics and technologies… and counter-measures
If you are a subject of spying, mask yourself. But how?
What could cctvs do? Where are its limits and how we could use it to our advantage? How reliable is the automatic face recognition system and how to block it? What could your mobile phone tell about you? Who could monitor it and how? What about other cutting-edge technology like GPS trackers, bugging and drones? We would not forget oldschool watching technics and other stuff…
State and its repressive force has a huge volume of surveillance technics and technologies. Some of them are being used on public demonstrations, others are working constantly and everyone is targeted indiscriminately.
A decade ago, balaclava works well as counter-measure. These days are gone… So we would talk about things that could work as balaclava for 21st century.

Anarchist movement situation in Belarus
19:00 – 20:00
What is going on in Italy (and elsewhere)?
Two World Wars, partisan resistance, ’68, seventies, todays economic crisis, all that wasn’t enough to wake a desire for radical change of existence in italian citizens. It seems that elections are focus of his interests.
Only 20 years were enough, full of investigations and arrests, to put twitch and leash to italian anarchist movement, that barks about “radicalism”, and now it’s tied to the wall, far away from the heart of the revolt.
Meanwhile, on the edge of the revolt, comrades in prisons, and on the hot streets, burning and free individuals, who are not constrained with leash of “decent” struggles, open, with their actions, path to the heart of the conflict, in Greece, Chile, Argentina, Mexico, Indonesia…
