War against ISIS/Daesh: YPG/YPJ inflict heavy losses among ISIS terrorists (Kurdistan)
via YPG/YPJ Media Centre:
– A number of weapons belonging to the ISIS fighters were seized by our units of the YPJ in Kobane October 13.
– 12 October 2014 / KOBANE_Offensives raged by terrorists affiliated to ISIS are ongoing for the 27th day, meanwhile our fighters are striking them fiercely.
Terrorists are flooding in from Tel Abyad and Jarablus areas bringing more heavy weaponry and ammunition that aims to takeover Kobane city, nevertheless our heroes are fighting back with high spirits despite of the lesser capabilities that they have.
Terrorists have intensified their offensives on the eastern front of Kobane city, clashes have continued yesterday until the night, in which 17 mercenaries were killed.
Elsewhere near Mishtenur hill southern east of Kobane, mercenaries carried out an attack along with a random intensive shelling but our fighters were able to repulse them and halted their advance, at least 11 terrorists were killed.
During recent 24 hours, brutal offensives by ISIS terrorists were launched on the southern front whilst all those attacks were foiled by our comrades. And also, an explosives-loaded truck was targeted by our fighters and blew up amid them.
Again they tried to move towards our trenches under shelling cover but we targeted them and killed all of them, a military vehicle belonging to terrorists was destroyed and more than 36 ISIS members were killed. YPG/YPJ fighters carried out an operation targeting their positions and left 6 mercenaries dead.
The more those terrorists attack us the more we resist and fight back, it is worth mentioning that clashes on three fronts continues at the moment.
In 11 October our units began an operation against ISIS terrorists near Mabruka town and Dahma region southern west of Serekaniye in which heavy clashes erupted between our units and ISIS terrorists.
In the meantime, another operation was launched against terrorist’s positions in al-Rawiye village that left a group of them dead and a vehicle destroyed.
It was reported by our fighters that more than 26 terrorists were killed including a commander (Emir) named Abu Gemal, yet the operation continues.
During this campaign our two comrades, Shekhmos me’o and Kamiran Kocher were martyred after they had shown a heroic resistance that left fear and horror inside the terrorists hearts.

KOBANE CANTON_ It is 26 days since 15th September, terrorists linked to ISIS have been trying to occupy Kobane, hurt the Kurdish people’s will, but YPG/YPJ fighters are creating heroic epics every hour; repulsing their attacks with a great will and steadfast.
We, the people’s Defense Units (YPG) continue to fight the mercenaries back and not let them achieve their goals, since they fired on civilian areas near the border with heavy weapons.
On the eastern front; severe clashes have erupted between our fighters and ISIS terrorists lasting until the morning, in turn our forces have launched a special operation in order to halt ISIS advancing, as a result 29 terrorists have been killed.
Elsewhere on the southern front; terrorists tried yesterday, using all kind of heavy weapons including tanks, rockets and artillery, to attack our trenches but they failed and our fighters repelled them leaving 17 terrorists killed.
On the western front; our units carried out, yesterday, another special operation targeting the enemy’s positions which left two vehicles destroyed and 22 terrorists killed.
Every moment in this historic resistance, our fighters are sacrificing their souls without hesitating, for that we know that victory is ours. Five of our comrades were martyred defending this land.
We in turn pledge again to be the thorn in the enemy’s throat, those who are humanity’s enemy, for everybody should know that we never surrender, Kobane shall be a graveyard and hell for such terrorists.
About the US-led coalition alliance air strikes against ISIS positions; despite the air strikes which were very effective two days ago, it was less sufficient recently.
We call upon the US-led coalition to increase air strikes in order to weaken ISIS artillery forces and heavy weaponry.
