18th of November 2011, 17-year old anti-fascist Mikhail Norokha was murdered in Dnepropetrovsk of Ukraine. His body was found 8 meters from an abandoned, 16 floor house. He died due to multiple fractures and internal bleeding, which resulted from a fall. Although he fell onto his back, his nose was broken and he also had scratches in his face.
Also, there were remains of pepper gas in his clothes, and his coat was torn, which is additional proof that this was not a suicide. Also, Mikhail had his mobile phone, documents and money left with him – murderers took nothing from him. (more…)

Today [Wednesday 16 2011], two years have passed since our comrade Ivan ‘Vanya’ Khutorskoy was murdered in Moscow. On occasion, we publish an article which was written for Avtonom journal in Russian, and translated for ‘Abolishing the Borders from Below’ in English.
“You are made of some different fabric. You are way more prepared than me for this kind of shit. I figured it out, when you told me by telephone, that Vanya is not anymore” – a young comrade put it like this once, in the frame of one discussion. We were standing on the platform of a metro, wagons of steel were scurrying on metallic rails. Their metallic clamps were squeezing my insides. Yes, my young friend, I am definitely ready for this shit.
Upon the death of Vanya, in spirit I was already in my 4th decade, although my physical age will correspond to that much later. My twenties I had spent in a skinhead-casual frenzy, spiced with an anarcho-communist baggage of ideas. For me, all those years passed side by side with two guys. One of them left all of that behind a long time ago, now he is more into stuff like wifes/mistresses/kids/cars. Another one was Vanya. If I will be alive, healthy, and out of jail, my fourth decade will not be boring either, but it will not be the same. (more…)

His new address is:
Tuesday, October 4th, 2011
When confronted by a swaggering neo-Nazi at Welling train station in March 2009, Sean Cregan did what any good antifascist would, he put the Nazi on his arse! While twice Sean’s size, one punch was enough for the scumbag fascist, who dropped to the ground as if pole-axed. His neo-Nazi companion quickly fled down the station platform, with Sean in hot pursuit.
The two scumbags had been on their way to a so-called “Blood and Honour” gig, which are regularly held at the nearby Duchess of Edinburgh pub (with the active participation of the fascist landlord with whom the two were to stay). When questioned by police later, the first fascist gave his name as Patrick O’Donovan (this may be a false name since he is German and came over specifically for the gig, which are illegal in Germany). His brave companion gave his name as Michael Heihl.
There had been several unrelated incidents at Welling Station that evening, and the police arrived quickly, arresting several antifascists who were also at the station (or in the vicinity). Some months later, dawn raids took place around the country, with large numbers of cops smashing in doors and arresting other antifascists. Draconian bail conditions were imposed. In total, 23 people were now under arrest in relation to the punching of ‘O’Donovan’.
Since there was no available ‘complainant’ in the case, the cops – the British Transport Police led by Detective Inspector Sam Blackburn – were unable to charge Sean, or any of the other antifascists, with assault. Instead they were charged with ‘Conspiracy to Commit Violent Disorder’. In legal terms, ‘Violent Disorder’ occurs when a person’s behaviour is deemed to be of such a nature that it would cause alarm or distress to someone witnessing it, though in this case nobody had complained and it was ruled that there was not sufficient evidence to additionally charge any of the antifascists with ‘Violent Disorder’ itself.
Charges were dropped against one of the antifascists, a young woman, in the early stages, but because of the sheer number of defendants the Crown Prosecution Service (CPS) argued that, for logistical reasons, it was necessary to split the defendants between two trials. Of course this also put the Prosecution at a considerable advantage, particularly as they would be prosecuted by the same individual – Mark Trafford. Both trials would be held at Blackfriars Crown Court before Judge H.O.Blacksell.
The CPS chose to first prosecute not so much those with the most evidence against them, since they have presented no evidence of a conspiracy throughout, but those whom they judged would be most easily convicted. Many of the defendants had been convicted of political activities in the past, and because of these ‘prior convictions’ could not present character evidence in their defence for example. The CPS knew that they could rely on the prejudice and ignorance of the jury (one of whom sported a shirt emblazoned with a large St George’s cross) for some convictions, and sure enough seven antifascists were convicted as charged, with six of them being sent immediately to jail.
As our comrades were sent to prison, the architects of the fit-up were busy congratulating each other. Blacksell, the judge who presided over the charade, said he would be recommending Detective Inspector Blackburn for a commendation – For what, making travel safer for Nazis?! Perhaps Blackburn will get the ‘Iron Cross’! This whole case revolves around one neo-Nazi, who was not a complainant in the case, being put on his arse. For that 23 people were arrested, hundreds of cops were involved in dawn raids, and two show trials were held costing Millions, what a great service to the ‘public’! But of course, this case is about far more than one pathetic fascist.
Immediately before the second trial, charges were dropped against two more of those previously accused of being involved in the ‘conspiracy’, leaving nine more to face trial. The trial began on Monday 12th September, and once again the Prosecution presented absolutely no evidence of a ‘conspiracy’. The jury seemed nonplussed as to why they were there. Once again, the trial dragged on for more than three weeks.
One of the things that came out in the second trial was that a racist Immigration Officer, who acted as a prosecution witness, and who in his police statement described Ravi Gill as having a “typical big Asian head” and “speaking Indian”, lied through his teeth in the first trial. He could not have witnessed the incident as he claimed because when it happened he was not actually there, but outside buying his ticket!
As his attempts to fit up the second group of antifascists began to unravel, Trafford became quite desperate, and at times appeared close to tears. He had pursued the case with personal malice and with a messianic gleam in his eye throughout, and his arrogance led to some verbal fencing with defendants of twice his intelligence which simply left him looking foolish. Bereft of evidence, he simply relied on being able to mislead and prejudice the jury as he had done in the first trial. To this end, Trafford tried to present the neo-Nazis of ‘Blood & Honour’ and the Anarchists and antifascists in the dock as two sides of the same coin, as if the Nazis and partisans of World War Two had some sort of moral equivalence. This morally repugnant position was rounded on by the Defence in the closing speeches with Trafford pilloried to an unusual extent. Putting the incident firmly in its political and historical context, one of the Defence barristers even went so far as to say that the jury should not only be acquitting the defendants, but thanking them for being prepared to confront organised fascism.
It should be clear that this prosecution was brought to try and smash antifascist resistance (something Trafford has privately made explicitly clear) and to intimidate antifascists from engaging in any form of antifascist activity. The case however, and the way that the ‘conspiracy’ law has been used in it, has huge implications for activists in general, it is an attempt to outlaw any form of protest. Leeds ABC regard it as highly regrettable that the case did not have the massive publicity it warranted from the very beginning.
The jury retired to consider the verdict at 3.00pm today – They were back again less than an hour later to acquit all nine antifascists, treating the prosecution case with the contempt it deserves. The courtroom erupted into cheers and cries of jubilation, with only the judge and prosecutor left looking sour-faced. Tonight as the acquitted and supporters retired to the pub there was every reason to celebrate. Tomorrow [5.10.2011] is the 75th anniversary of the Battle of Cable Street. We hope that Indymedia readers will join us in raising a glass – to our comrades who triumphed over this judicial fit-up, to the antifascists down the ages who have been prepared to go out onto the streets to confront fascism, and to our six comrades who were fitted-up earlier this year and who deserve our fullest possible support.
The six antifascists imprisoned in the first trial were originally held in Wormwood Scrubs prison in London, but five have now been moved to other jails in southern and central England. Please send them letters of support at the addresses given below. We expect Thomas Blak to be moved this week and his new address will be published on the Leeds ABC website when that happens. Thomas, who is Danish and has lived and worked in England for 15 years, is also under threat of deportation.
The prisoners may each receive postage stamps and Postal Orders (made payable to ‘The Governor’ and with the prisoner’s name and prison number written on the back). For advice on writing to prisoners please see the Leeds ABC website.
A solidarity fund has been set up to support the prisoners in jail and upon release. All donations, big and small, are very welcome. The fund is administered by Leeds Anarchist Black Cross, a long-standing and reputable prisoner support organisation, and the fund will ONLY be used to support the prisoners directly. If you would like to contribute to the fund please send a cheque (made payable to ‘The Cable Street Society’) to Leeds ABC, 145-149 Cardigan Road, Leeds, LS6 1LJ. Details for bank transfers are:
The Cable Street Society
Sort Code 070093
Account number 33333334
We would like to thank the groups and individuals who have already contributed to the solidarity fund, including Antifa England, Brighton & Hove TUC Unemployed Workers Centre, Bristol ABC, Kate Sharpley Library , and Rebel Soul (Shambala Festival).
The Anarchist print co-op Sabcat have also produced two benefit T-shirts in support of the prisoners. They are printed on organic cotton, fair wear, carbon neutral, Earth Positive T-shirts and cost £14.95 including UK postage. Sabcat are donating their labour for free, so apart from the cost of the unprinted garment itself and the postage, all money raised goes to the antifascist prisoners support fund. To order a T-shirt check out the Sabcat website at www.sabcat.com. They will also be available to buy at this year’s London Anarchist Bookfair.
Leeds ABC have produced a solidarity poster (see above) in several sizes, which is being displayed in laminated form in numerous community centres, social centres, pubs, cafes, bookshops, etc. Please contact us with regard to displaying one. You can also download the graphic to display on your website, Facebook page, etc.
Last, but by no means least, a number of revolutionary solidarity actions have been claimed in the names of the prisoners, and we both appreciate and applaud these acts. We should remember that the very best act of solidarity we can offer is to continue to fight against fascism and not to be intimidated or cowed by these latest attempts to stop us resisting.
Solidarity to the antifascist prisoners.
Thomas is Danish and would appreciate European/International stamps to keep in touch with his family and with comrades abroad.
Sean can receive books (they must be new or in very good condition).
Phil De Souza
Ravi can receive posters, so if you hold a support event consider sending him one in.
A few thank yous and fuck yous
Letter from a defendant in the second wave trial:
Having just been acquitted in the Antifa trial I would like to make some quick remarks.
Respect and solidarity to my comrades in jail serving time for this bullshit. To us you are heroes. Great anti-fascists one and all. No Pasaran!
Respect and solidarity to my co-defendants who conducted themselves with dignity and aplomb in the face of a slanderous and offensive onslaught from the prosecution.
Congratulations to everyone who was at Welling train station on the 28th of March 2009 and managed to get away without having their collar felt. You know who you are which is more than the cops ever will.
Thank you to the jury. I suspect it took them more time to elect a foreperson than it did to discuss any merits in the prosecution case. That said I believe that their decision was not just an acceptance of our innocence but an endorsement of our politics (of which they heard alot), that more than anything gives me hope and encouragement.
Thanks to our legal team, great job well done with integrity and style, we are eternally grateful.
Thanks to everyone who supported us throughout this trial your solidarity will not be forgotten.
Finally, fuck the Nazi’s, nationalists, reactionaries and rulers and fuck the police and the state that protect them.

SOLIDARITY WITH THE COMRADES OF R. S
I send you my support and hopes of strength for the trial.
A spectacle set up by corrupt judges, cops and politicians.
In the north, we will raise a clenched fist through the barred windows of the English prisons, high towards the sky.
Never losing sight of our goal.
Sharing dreams of freedom and victory.
With determination and courage, united we will succeed.
No one is free until all are free.
Fire to the prisons and the states that create them.

Gary Tumulty from Manchester poses as “Rebecca Johnson” on Facebook in order to retrieve details of ‘left leaning’ activists, trade unionists and anti-racists. He then posts the info on the neo nazi website Redwatch. Tumulty’s partner is Kay Pollitt who lives at the same address as Tumulty at 92 Gerald road, Salford, Manchester M6 6DF. Pic of Pollitt here. Also, Keith Fairhurst of the fascist group ‘English Defence League’ is registered at the same address as Tumulty. More info here : UK IMC

Revolutionary greetings to all the comrades in Russia. 325 receives and transmits this statement and two action reports:
Good day. We would like to shed some light on several issues regarding the revolutionary anarchist activity of “Black Bloc” collectives in Russia. We feel it must be done because of the recent rise in interest from right-wing radicals.
We decided to publish this statement after one of the right-wing murderer scum (N. Tikhonov, at the moment he serves life sentence for murder of our two anarchists comrades – Stanislav Markelov and Anastasia Baburova – trans.) talked in elated tones, expressed support and good will towards our groups and actions (you can enjoy his delirious ideas here http://tihonov-hasis.livejournal.com/5256.html) Since we are anonymous and there’s little information about us and our ideals, we would like to, once again, talk about who we are and where do we stand.
First things first: what we do. We try to maintain clandestine character of our activity, so we’ve been acting successfully for several years in this country already. We lost count to the total number of our subversive actions. Our primary targets are enforcement agencies, large business structures and corporations, as well as members of bourgeoisie. We don’t really care, whose luxury car is burning: Chinese, Tadzhik or Russian. We base our actions on class hatred. However, we do try hard to avoid injuring innocent people in any way. We still maintain zero-level of “collateral damage” and life being victims during our bombings or arsons. However, during our actions we do wear arms to avoid a quick and easy detention in case we’ll be facing off with cops in the streets during one of the attacks.
We would like to once again stress that we don’t care about sexual orientation of our comrades. We respect everyone, it doesn’t matter for us, who our comrade is in love with and with whom (s)he will be build the new world we know is possible. And while “brave warriors of white race” are hitting their keyboards hard, queers and feminists are joining heterosexuals in molotov attacks on the System. Our queer sisters and brothers are fully capable to protect themselves.
Lots of ordinary people have already expressed their support to our project. Unfortunately, so did nationalists. Some of the nazi scum are publicly expressing their excitement and good will, some mumble that “right radicals can’t boast such kind of activity”, others try to remind that we are, first and foremost, anarchists. And that we are their enemies.
Exactly. It’s worth to repeat this once again. We are anarchists. We are not supportive of any kind of oppression. And our hands smell of gasoline, yes. But of blood as well. We do not shrink back from attacking nazis in subway and the streets. Using knives, handguns and barehanded. In this regard we are always supportive of antifascist groups, either anarchists or S.H.A.R.P. We’ve never cooperated with the State and this won’t change in the future. We are not getting orders from anyone. So stop all this banter about us being Z.O.G. conspiracy or undercover cops or anything. Everything that the new generation of right-wing degenerates have achieved is mimicking of Antifa counter-culture. From dress-code to tactics. We do hope that you’ll grow up, start using your own brain and won’t become 30-year old sieg-heil clowns.
Until then, see you in the streets…

August 21, 2011 at 3 am an individual fighter of resistance burned down a local police station №35 placed on Lenskaya street, 28, Moscow. Action was successful and struggle against «criminals with shoulder straps» will be continued. Greetings to all today and future guerrillas! Don’t be afraid to act alone, but be careful! No pasaran!
August 23, 2011, in the night. In a town of Khimki nearby Moscow, a group of anarchist guerrillas have burned a police car on the parking of the road police station. Khimki is a place of a hard social conflict because of the project of building a paid road through the Khimki forest. During the protests of locals and ecologists, a horrible police brutality has been shown. So we send our message to bloody police scum! It is time to continue the struggle to defend nature and justice and to abolish state and capitalism!
Anarchists of Moscow region.
Revolutionary greetings and solidarity from Moscow!

Updated From Leeds ABC:
More than two years ago a strutting neo-Nazi was put on his arse. Without even the evidence to pursue a conviction for ‘common assault’ the British State launched an all-out offensive against militant antifascists, smashing doors in all over the country and making more than 20 arrests. In view of their lack of evidence against those arrested the CPS have chosen to pursue ‘conspiracy’ charges, a calculated gambit which has so far led to the imprisonment of 6 antifascists. The imprisoned comrades are guilty of nothing more than being antifascists, they have been fitted-up by the State and deserve our fullest possible support. (more…)

At the present moment the detectives of the Anti-Extremist Center of GUVD (General Directorate of Internal Affairs) of Nizhniy Novgorod Region, are fabricating a criminal case against Artem Bystrov, who was arrested on April 26,2011. He is accused of the article № 213 part 2 (hooliganism committed by a group of persons on preliminary arrangement by hatred or hostility toward a particular social group).
Two of the other suspects have not been arrested yet. It is worth noting that the victim himself — a nationalist called D.Redkin, doesn’t press any charges to the people arrested on April 26 and refuses to take part in the process.
The case was filed seven months after an alleged violent attack. It was filed by pressure on the victim and the witness. The investigation is proceeded with gross violations and falsification of evidence. For example, during the searches the membership cards of a non-existing organisation “RASH-Antifa” with photos and serial numbers, evidently made by Center “E” (Anti-Extremist Center) detectives, were planted in suspects’ homes. Via Contrainfo, an open letter from G.Ch. and Vaggelis Stathopoulos, anarchist comrade accused of membership of the Revolutionary Organisation – Revolutionary Struggle, for which he denies his participation. However, Vaggelis never hid his anarchist ideas and activities, for which now the modern totalitarian State aims to make both himself and his social and family environment suffer.
Targeted attack with double recipient
On June 7th, at 4.30 after midnight an arson attack was acted out against my mother’s car that I drove lately, since the police refuses to return my vehicle after 14 months, which is held on the pretext of investigation. Along with my mother’s private car, a targeted attack took place against the motorcycle of my childhood friend and comrade who had the misfortune that I lent the car to him for a few days.
The attack came shortly before dawn, just below my friend’s house which is only a block away from the police station of the neighbourhood. Specifically, a black car, Jeep type with tinted windows and no plates (reminds you of something?) stopped alongside the narrow street, where the co-driver got down and threw a large quantity of flammable liquid on both vehicles, having ensured to place rags soaked in flammable liquid at the headlight of the motorcycle while he left a large jerry can on the roof of my mother’s car. “Report of paintbomb attack on the Railway Bell, Brighton. Fascist hangout…
If you like your beer with a hint of racism you can probably do no better than the Railway Bell…
On March 24th the March for England, a flag waving front for fascist scum, the ENA (English Nationalist Alliance) and EDL (English Defence League), held a march in Brighton
March for England was attended by several divisions of the English Defence League
Their meeting point was the Railway Bell, opposite Brighton Station. The pub opened early to accommodate the fash and served as a reassembly point for marchers after their parade through town.
The Railway Bell has been a popular venue for fascists during previous Brighton marches.
The MfE, ENA and EDL are not welcome and will be resisted
In the early hours of this morning antifascists hurled paintbombs at the Railway Bell before disappearing into the night.”

“On Monday, May 16th a dozen people created a disruption at the Greek consulate in downtown Montreal located at 1002 Sherbrooke West on the 26th floor. We entered the office chanting slogans of solidarity to anarchists and immigrants facing heavy repression at the hands of the Greek state and organized fascists. Furniture and plants were overturned and hundreds of fliers were scattered. One office employee attempted to detain a comrade but failed. Outside people displayed a banner stating “(A) Flics-Porcs-Assassins, Solidarité contre la reprèssion d’État en Grèce” and handed out fliers.”
Text from the flier:
In Athens, Greece, during a general strike on May 11th against extensive economic restructuring led by the IMF, the repressive forces of the Greek state brutally attacked the strike demo. Dozens were hospitalized and one man was so severely beaten he fell into a deep coma and is on life support.
In addition, a Greek man was killed on May 10th in a largely immigrant district, triggering a police-sponsored fascist pogrom that is still taking place in the immigrant neighborhoods. Immigrants had their car windows smashed out while they were driving, many have been beaten on the street, a Pakistani family had their house fire-bombed, and a 21 year old immigrant was murdered by fascists. The police have been directly sponsoring and protecting this racist terror and have also cooperatively attacked anarchist social spaces which have been showing direct solidarity to the migrants by physically confronting this fascist pogrom in the streets.
In times of economic crisis, immigrant populations are often used as scapegoats as an outlet for people’s frustrations with austerity measures. Such racist and nationalist ideologies have always served to prevent solidarity between immigrants and those “native-born” exploited who persist in the delusion that they have more in common with the masters who exploit them.
In Canada, with a different intensity but following the same logic, immigrants are swept off the streets, jailed, and deported according to the needs of capitalism and social control. The raids, border walls, and detention centers serve to terrorize all immigrants into accepting their current conditions, just as prisons and police terrorize everyone into accepting the current order.
Here, like elsewhere, resistance movements that pose a threat to the continuation of capitalism find themselves necessarily in conflict with the police. As anarchists, we want to destroy police, prisons and the world of exploitation that creates them, which steals away the capacity to create our lives on our own terms.
Cops, Pigs, Murderers
Solidarity with anarchists & immigrants in Greece.
Let’s destroy the repressive machine wielded against all of us.
