Video : Why is the "Caso Bombas" a Montage? (Chile)

June 14th, 2011

Video received from Arde Moyano Records about the legalistic implications of the so-called ‘anti-terrorist’ investigation – “Caso Bombas”/”Bombs Case” – in Chile, which has struck the country with draconian repression since August 14 2010. Many comrades have been swept along in this frame-up, which sought to connect anarchist spaces, projects and individuals into an assumed organisation of ‘terrorism’. Already the comrades went through an arduous and long hungerstrike, solidarity to the companer@s! Down with the walls of all prisons! Below is the note from Arde Moyano Records about how to select the subtitles with an instructive image following:

“Comrades, we have subtitled this video from the Spanish to the English. Now available in Spanish, English and Italian. We attach a image about how to select the subtitles. Please, spread this information in all parts of the English-speaking world. Thanks.”

Letter from Damiano Bolano, imprisoned anarchist comrade of the Revolutionary Organisation Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, from Domokos prison (Greece)

June 13th, 2011

Until the end…

“We will shout: grab the axes! We will strike mercilessly the authorities without sparring our blows since they do not either. We will vanish them from the squares when their gang of dogs dares to show up there. We will vanish them from the cobbled streets of the countryside and the avenues of the capital. We will vanish them from the villages. Remember that when this happens, whoever is not with us, will be against us, an enemy. And we will use every method in order to exterminate an enemy.”

I recognize myself as a member of the Revolutionary Organisation – Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and from now on as a captive of war. A war which indirectly has been declared dozens of centuries now, from the dominators against the dominated, not making its presence perceivable in order that those subjugated live in illusions of freedom, and directly towards the anarchist revolutionaries and each decent person that is not subjugated and resists the smooth operation of the governmental mechanism. Earth Liberation Front Russia – Informal Anarchist Federation / International Network claim series of attacks in Solidarity with Marie Mason, Eric McDavid & Long-term Anarchist Prisoners (Russia)

June 13th, 2011

325 received the following communique from Earth Liberation Front Russia – Informal Anarchist Federation / International Network of Action & Solidarity, about a series of attacks in conjunction with the 11th June International Day of Solidarity with Marie Mason, Eric McDavid and Long-term Anarchist Prisoners. Strength and force to all those imprisoned for their ideas, words and actions of resistance – We will never forget our prisoners of war. For a global insurrectional network based on revolutionary solidarity, direct action and subversion:

Solidarity with Marie Mason and Eric McDavid – ELF actions in Moscow region of Russia

“For me solidarity is a constant proposal to struggle, is the continuation and the development of the revolutionary action for which the comrade was captured” – Gerasimos Tsakalos, Conspiracy of Cells of Fire

01.06 we torched electrical measuring and control devices in 2 underground service booths of a water communication system that brings hot water to a military intelligence site in Butovskiy forest. To add to the fact that this infrastructure serves military personnel, more than 800 trees were cut during earthworks for this water supply line to even appear in the forest. To hamper service brigades further, we also spiked the road they use for maintaining the system.

05.06 we torched an excavator at a highway construction site west of Moscow (Volokolamsk direction).

06.06 and 10.06 we expropriated some construction equipment and destroyed geologists’ measurement posts in the glades of Butovskiy forest.

11.06 we broke into yet another underground service booth and put to fire all the digital and analog devices and tools inside.

We dedicate these attacks to Marie Mason and Eric McDavid. We don’t have the honour of personal acquaintance with them, but their dedication to protecting our Planet and conscious choices they’ve made not only to act, but also to stand their ground in the wake of state repressions, inspire us and help us to continue on our path.

For Earth Liberation! For Human Liberation!

Interview of Eric McDavid by Jeff Luers (USA)

June 13th, 2011

325 presents this interview which can be found in document format here, on the website of the 11th June International day of Solidarity with Marie Mason, Eric McDavid and Long-term Anarchist Prisoners. Our editing & transliteration monkeys refused to co-operate with us this week and went on banana strike, so we’ve kept Eric’s mobilefone text-speak way of writing intact, as that’s how he usually writes his letters. Eric McDavid out now in the streets!

Jeff Luers set fire to three SUVs at a car dealership in Eugene, OR during the summer of 2000 in response to the environmental devastation that he saw occurring on a global scale. The court levied an egregious sentence to make an example out of him, to send a clear message to others who might share Jeff’s outrage and will.

In 2004 Jeff was three years into his 22+ sentence. That year his support crew announced that June 11th was the International Day of Solidarity with Long-term Anarchist Prisoner Jeff “Free” Luers. In the following years, June 11th served as a day for anarchists, environmental radicals and forest defenders alike to show some kind of support for Jeff. Read the rest of this entry »

Luciano wakes from induced coma; action at the hospital (Chile)

June 13th, 2011

Translations have appeared by other comrades concerning Luciano’s health (he awoke from the medically-induced coma) and the solidarity action that occurred. Both translations follow:

from culmine, translation by santiasko anarchista:

At noon on Thursday (June 9th) we went to the Indisa Clinic with a banner and dropped leaflets in front of the building, where Luciano is imprisoned, the leaflets read:

AN ANARCHIST COMPAÑERO IS WOUNDED AND KIDNAPPED BY THE POLICE.
THIS IS GROUNDS FOR SOLIDARITY.
STRENGTH TO TORTUGA!

The press in its faithful work to maintain the dominate system enjoyed displaying images and testimonies of what happened on June 1 and have defamed Luciano and his close comrades, but none of this surprises us, the press just plays its role. Read the rest of this entry »

June 7th: Statement by comrades and friends of Luciano (Chile)

June 9th, 2011

From viva la anarquia, translated by war on society:

Faced with such a painful situation, we believe it necessary to share some developments with respect to the situation of our comrade and friend Luciano.

Due to the seriousness of his health, he has been subjected to constant medical checks and interventions, but most important is to clarify that ALL THE DECISIONS that have been taken with respect to Luciano HAVE BEEN TAKEN BY HIS FAMILY OF ORIGIN (mother, father and siblings) who without knowing our Tortu, have in the absolute taken and appropriated responsibilities with respect to:

1. His transfer from the central hospital to the bourgeois clinic INDISA where they have made various interventions on him (amputation of his right hand and part of his left hand, skin grafts on both legs for his moderate burns. Also to clarify, he did not lose his entire eyes but rather both corneas.

2. With respect to visits, the family and especially his “mother” (one of the people who Luciano saw the least) has wanted to control them, deeming to “authorize” only those who she esteems appropriate and in her presence, in addition to expressing her total displeasure with the people closest to and loved by Luciano calling them disparagingly “the anarchists.”

In these difficult times we believe it is of vital importance to accompany one’s friends and comrades more closely, we must break the fear and the barriers that stand between us, we must express ourselves our ties of solidarity with imagination and creativity.

We believe in our channels for communicating ourselves and we must face on our feet (although it may be difficult for us) this situation.

Thanks to the comrades who have given us their support and love directly and indirectly.

For a call to solidarity and to actions against that which oppresses us.

AGAINST ALL AUTHORITY! LUCIANO, TORTUGA PRESENTE!!

International Day of Solidarity with Eric McDavid, Marie Mason & Long-term Anarchist Prisoners

June 8th, 2011

From the USA comrades organising the International Day of Solidarity with Eric McDavid, Marie Mason & Long-term anarchist prisoners. Revolutionary solidarity with our prisoners of war – A movement which forgets the prisoners is dead. This article is available as a PDF:

This is a strategy proposal for June 11th as a part of a broader push to develop livable support for long-term anarchist prisoners in the US. This statement specifically contemplates an audience of radicals & anarchists coming out of environmentalist, animal rights and/or anti-globalization milieus. Though, the readership is likely to include more people, that just happens to be my background and that Marie’s and Eric’s. Read the rest of this entry »

Christos Politis : Days of War (Greece)

June 8th, 2011

From Viva la Anarquía! (May 31, 2011), via This Is Our Job:

On December 4, 2010, Christos Politis and a number of other comrades were arrested during a massive counterterrorist operation covering the Athens metropolitan area. Three weeks ago, Politis was conditionally released on charges pending trial. The following was written during his time in Grevena prison.

Tuesday

“Medication! Come get your medication. Bring your water.” The orderly reminds us of our daily date with apathy. He has a bunch of little packets in his hand, and each one has a name. While you can accuse the prison administration for lacking even the most basic items, you certainly can’t say the same about the dosage that always arrives on time. Akineton, Hipnosedon, Largactil, Lexotanil, Seroquel, Effexor, Remeron. And if you still haven’t calmed down, two tablets of Alobertin will make you stupid for months. Read the rest of this entry »

Solidarity actions for Social Centre Satama, Roma migrants and anarchist prisoners (Finland)

June 8th, 2011

The following communique was originally published in the Finnish anarchist portal Takku.net. During the last weekend an Islamist blogger tried to take credit for the bomb and molotov cocktails, until an anarchist communique was published on Monday 6.6.11, putting the attacks within the anti-state/anti-capitalist frame of struggle. Mainstream media news can be found here: 1 & 2

From the comrades:

“Tuesday night 13.4.2011 we burned five dumpsters at Pukinmäki train station in Helsinki. We also wrote some slogans for free spaces on some walls.

During the next two nights we burned dumpsters at several places in the city of Vantaa.

Tuesday 19.4. we attacked the police; we set up a bonfire on the street, and when the police showed up, we greeted them with stones and paint bombs. The police responded by attacking the nearby Social Centre Satama, which they found empty after a long siege and assault inside.

During the night 31.5.-1.6. in the district of Pukinmäki, Helsinki, we closed the Kenttätie-road, frequently used by the police, by setting several dumpsters on fire.

Early Friday morning 3.6. in the Helsinki district of Pasila, we put a bomb under Turvatiimi’s (a private security company) car. Although the bomb was fully functional, we decided not to explode it, to ensure that bystanders and workers in other nearby companies wouldn’t be put in danger. This is also why we placed the bomb so that everyone in the courtyard could see it.

Early Saturday morning 4.6. we attacked two gas stations with molotov cocktails in the Helsinki district of Tapaninvainio.

Monday morning 6.6. we called bomb threats to the following embassies: Belarus, Russia, Spain, Mexico, Chile, United States, Germany, Greece, Italy.

We chose these countries because of the ongoing struggles there. We wanted to make the representatives of these countries feel a bit of the fear, that our anarchist comrades face in their everyday struggle against the violence machine of the state.

With these attacks we want to show our solidarity to the comrades of Social Centre Satama and their struggle for free space. We also send revolutionary greetings to the Roma migrants in Helsinki, who are oppressed daily by the violent apparatus of the state.

With these attacks we also express our support to every anarchist prisoner, and want to remind that the struggle will continue despite the attempts at repression by the state. The time of empty talk is over, long live anarchy!

Solidarity actions across Greece ahead of the trial of the anarchist Aris Seirinidis on June 8th (Greece)

June 7th, 2011

Poster for Aris

From: Occupied London:

Aris Seirinidis is an anarchist who was arrested on the evening of May 3rd, 2010, in central Athens, at a police check-point set up for an irrelevant to him case. Initially he faced a misdemeanor charge but in the end the anti-terrorist unit pulled out a forgotten case related to the shooting of a police riot van in the area of Exarcheia in the summer of 2009, which became known by the media as ‘the case of the pistolero with the sombrero and flip flops’ (due to the attire worn by the person that carried out the shooting).

The main ‘evidence’ against Aris was the matching of DNA taken from his wallet after his arrest with DNA found on one of the many surgical mask strewn around Exarcheia (due to a demo and rioting that had taken place in the summer of 2009, exactly the previous to the incident day) that was collected on the day of the shooting.

Aris’ trial will commence tomorrow, June 8th – and today has seen a series of actions across Greece in his support.

In Athens, the Council of State was blockaded by anarchists this morning. In Thessaloniki, a local radio station (fm100) was occupied and solidarity texts were read out on air. In Thessaloniki, Ioannina and Xanthi, anarchists will be setting up PA’s (mikrofoniki) and distributing texts in solidarity.

A motorcycle demonstration will commence from Athens’ Propylaea today at 17.30 and a solidarity gathering will take place at the courthouse tomorrow at 9 am, at the first-degree courthouse (Protodikeio) of Athens at 4, Degleri Str.

Against the Frame-up of anarchist comrades Christoforos Kortesis, Sarantos Nikitopoulos and Vaggelis Stathopoulos (Greece)

June 7th, 2011

Poster for the 3

From Contra-Info:

THIS UNPRECEDENTED JURIDICAL COUP D’ETAT WILL NOT PASS!

The three comrades Christoforos Kortesis, Sarantos Nikitopoulos and Vaggelis Stathopoulos who are accused for participation in the urban guerrilla group ‘Revolutionary Struggle’ but have repeatedly denied all charges against them, have now received summons for Thursday, June 9th, at 10am ordering them to (re)present before the Appellate Judges Council that will (re)decide whether ‘to extend the pretrial detention or not.’

On the same day at 12.30, the defense lawyers of all persons involved in the same case have been called to present before the council which will issue the decree for the trial, judging who will be brought to trial and on what charges.

The juridical manipulative approach (or otherwise ‘orders from above’) for the re-imprisonment of the three anarchists, is now more than visible. What do the judges mean by the phrase ‘to extend the pretrial detention or not’ given the fact that the comrades are no longer in pretrial detention but were released on bail nearly two months ago, after an unanimous and (supposedly under the State laws) irrevocable decision issued by the Appellate Judges Council?

Does the Appellate Judges Council forget (?) to indicate that they will not decide but re-decide? It’ll be the second time (unprecedented in legal history records) that the same issue will be examined (it seems that the first judgment did not ‘fit’ in the imaginative scenarios which the anti-terrorist unit has set up regarding the three comrades). In fact, already their imprisonment has lasted twelve months, and the State laws stipulate that no council has jurisdiction to re-imprison them until they face trial.

Counter-information and solidarity PA’s (microphonics) gathering
Sunday, June 5th, 4pm, Propylaea, Athens

SOLIDARITY GATHERING
Thursday, June 9th, 9.30am, Court of Appeals, Loukareos Str., Athens

WE WILL NOT LEAVE ANY COMRADE ALONE – DOWN YOUR LIMBS FROM OUR COMRADES – VAGGELIS, CHRISTOFOROS AND SARANTOS

PLEASE KEEP US POSTED ON IMMEDIATE ACTIONS WORLDWIDE

Letter from Maddalena Calore, imprisoned anarchist (Italy)

June 7th, 2011

Maddalena Calore, one of the anarchists subjected to bail conditions following operation ‘Outlaw’ (Bologna, 6th April: 5 comrades imprisoned, 7 on bail and anarchist place Fuoriluogo closed down by the cops), was arrested on 12th May for breaching those bail conditions. She’s currently being held in the maximum security unit of the Rebibbia prison in Rome, from where she wrote about the situation inside and the protests going on in some Italian jails.

Dearest comrades,
I inform you that today [23rd May] the wings A1 and A2 in the maximum security will start a three-day protest by refusing food trolleys and shopping in the prison in solidarity with detainees who embarked on similar protests in other Italian jails to denounce overcrowding and prison conditions.

The call for this protest came from the Radical party, which – like all political parties – are not at all interested in the question of prison as an institution because they only want to defuse the explosive situation inside prisons.

You already know my point of view on this protest… Certainly I don’t believe that a protest, and what’s more a protest proposed by a shit party like the Radicals, can ever sort out the problems inside prisons (as the problem is prison itself and the system that maintains it). If anything, I think we need a different and more effective kind of struggle, a struggle which aims at damaging the prison system and which is carried out on the initiative of prisoners. Attack against Santander Bank in Temuko – Solidarity with Luciano Tortuga (Chile)

June 6th, 2011

Attacked Santander bank

From culmine, rough translation by sysiphus.

4 June 2011

“Today one day from Luciano Pitronello’s accident and then the foul media handling, Today when the Peñi [Mapuche prisoners] have reached 80 days of liquid hunger strike, when the ‘caso bombas’ continues, when wages do not stop being worth less and Education is still used by the guardians of the capital as a tool of indoctrination. We masked up in Temuko and decided to break with everyday habits and show our discontent. Reclaiming the subversive struggle as a legitimate tool against capitalism and all forms of oppression.

Thus, when our spontaneity walks with us and the image of Luciano is no longer molested by the bourgeois press, a group of comrades decided to attack the headquarters of Santander in Santiago paradoxically located in front of the library within the university it is not surprising. The attack included molotov cocktails, paint, and camotazos that broke the cynical image of the thieves, with each stroke claiming the destruction of capital and all the institutions that crush the dignity of the oppressed, recalling with each stroke the act of overcoming fear, like the comrades early Wednesday at the intersection of Victoria Vicuña Mackenna, as they pick it up again today as an example of struggle and therefore against Capital and all authority.

Solidarity with Luciano and his family and all brothers and sisters that attempt and will act against capitalism and the state.

Update on C.C.F. trial 2/6/11 Athens (Greece)

June 5th, 2011

From Actforfreedomnow.

Update on C.C.F. trial

The defendants in the trial for the organisation “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” might leave the court again. The reason is, the decision of the court to project in the trial dozens of photographs from their personal moments, that were found in cds and dvds that were confiscated along with their personal computers.

Snapshots from trips, carnival disguises, games, even certain… naked photographs are among the material that the Three-member appeals Court decided to show in front of all who watch the trial, despite the fact nothing of that is related with the actions of the official charges.
