Message from White Eagle, Hopi indigenous on 3/16/2020 (Turtle Island)

March 27th, 2020

As nihilist-anarchists against civilisation we share this text we were sent, as recognition of the call from the FAI/IRF cell in Argentina to be open to indigenous thoughts and life-ways:

“This moment humanity is going through can be seen as a portal and as a hole. The decision to fall into the hole or go through the portal is up to you. If they repent of the problem and consume the news 24 hours a day, with little energy, nervous all the time, with pessimism, they will fall into the hole. But if you take this opportunity to look at yourself, rethink life and death, take care of yourself and others, you will cross the portal. Take care of your home, take care of your body. Connect with the middle body of your spiritual house, all this is synonymous, that is to say the same. When you are taking care of one, you are taking care of everything else. Do not lose the spiritual dimension of this crisis, have the aspect of the eagle, which from above, sees the whole, sees more widely. There is a social demand in this crisis, but there is also a spiritual demand. The two go hand in hand. Without the social dimension, we fall into fanaticism. But without the spiritual dimension, we fall into pessimism and lack of meaning. You were prepared to go through this crisis. Take your toolbox and use all the tools at your disposal. Learn about resistance with indigenous and African peoples: we have always been and continue to be exterminated. But we still haven’t stopped singing, dancing, lighting a fire and having fun. Don’t feel guilty about being happy during this difficult time. You don’t help at all by being sad and without energy. It helps if good things emanate from the Universe now. It is through joy that one resists. Also, when the storm passes, you will be very important in the reconstruction of this new world. You need to be well and strong. And, for that, there is no other way than to maintain a beautiful, happy and bright vibration. This has nothing to do with alienation. This is a resistance strategy. In shamanism, there is a rite of passage called the quest for vision. You spend a few days alone in the forest, without water, without food, without protection. When you go through this portal, you get a new vision of the world, because you have faced your fears, your difficulties…
This is what is asked of you. Let them take advantage of this time to perform their vision seeking rituals.
What world do you want to build for yourself? For now, this is what you can do: serenity in the storm. Calm down and pray. Everyday. Establish a routine to meet the sacred every day. Good things emanate, what you emanate now is the most important thing. And sing, dance, resist through art, joy, faith and love.”

Italia: Quale internazionale?

Letter from John Bowden: ‘I Leave Prison Unbroken, My Political Integrity Uncompromised And Unyielding’ (UK)

March 26th, 2020

On the 20th February, the Parole Board finally agreed to my release after forty years of my imprisonment and four previous parole hearings when my release was denied not because I represented a risk or danger to the public but because I was labelled an “anti-authoritarian” prisoner with links to anarchist and communist groups on the outside, specifically Anarchist Black Cross and the Revolutionary Communist Group.

Following a parole knockback of my release last year, I instigated a Judicial Review of the decision. Which although it did not succeed fired a judicial shot across the bows of the Parole Board and Ministry of Justice. And persuade them that future decisions on my release or not would have to be based on proper legal criteria. Specifically, whether my continued imprisonment could be justified in the Interests of public protection and-not just because I was labelled a “difficult prisoner” by the – prison authorities.

So, the parole panel considering my case in February of this year had to admit there was no real lawful justification for my continued imprisonment and so reluctantly agreed to my release. However, in its written decision, the Parole Board claimed that my “current risk factors” included “anti-authority views” and “attitudes supportive of the use of violence.” It also wrote: “During your sentence, you have evidenced that you have a mistrust of those in authority and professionals have previously reported that if you felt unfairly treated or discriminated against, coupled with any engagement with anti-social peers, then this could increase your risk of violence. Your attitude towards authority and your personality characteristics have also been considered by professionals to present a potential challenge in your future risk management.” Read the rest of this entry »

Chile: A few quick words from Refractario on the Covid-19 pandemic

March 26th, 2020

Originally published by Publicacion Refractario. Translated by Enough 14.

March 25, 2020. The spread of Covid 19 around the world reached the territory dominated by the Chilean State, the rate of sick people grows exponentially and we assume the number of dead people will grow.

Far from speculating on its origins and roots, we believe that it is clear that today we have to fight against a disease on the one hand and the increasingly restrictive measures of social control that states seek to impose on us and others. The reality in prisons is no different, as shown by the riots, escape attempts and mobilizations that have multiplied inside the prisons, since enduring such an illness inside the prisons in practice is a death sentence.

The revolt that is shaking the foundations of the Chilean state has changed drastically due to the force of the context. We do not sit down to cry, but we rather assume the need to know how to overcome these new scenarios and also maintain the confidence that we will take the streets again.

From Refractario we call to remain alert regarding the situations inside the prisons: In the southern prisons where different Mapuche community members are imprisoned, in the Santiago 1 prison and the San Miguel prison where most of the prisoners of the revolt are held, in the High Security Prison where our comrades, prisoners of the social war, are being held hostage.

Communication with the prisoners is likely to become less and less fluid, with restrictions on visits and increasing bans looming. We’re out here, we’re with the prisoners, and we’re watching what might happen.

It is likely that in practice, due to the increasingly restrictive measures to move around the city and to communicate, the Refractory page will fall out of date. We will try our best to keep the site as up to date as possible within our capabilities. Since 2012, when we started and continued this project, keeping active in different periods in spite of different obstacles, our possible absence for this period will only be due to force majeure. As soon as we can, we will keep our website active and updated as it has been for 8 years now.

Remain vigilant for our prisoners of social war!

We’ll be back on the streets!

We’re gonna get our prisoners out of jail again!

Greece: The news program of STAR channel tried to identify anarchist refugee Abtin Parsa as a terrorist

March 26th, 2020

On 14/3/2020, the news program of STAR channel, which is a part of the general Greek media mafia, controlled by known cocaine smuggler “Marinakis”, did show a propaganda video clip in reference to my public statement.

The news program of STAR channel, obviously tried to identify me publicly in the TV, as an terrorist. In the beginning of the video clip, two pictures of me(with cover faces) have been showed, which one of the pictures has anarchy symbol in the background. During the video clip, there is a clear manipulation on my words in the statement and in the same time, focus on my identity as an immigrant. Finally in the end, a journalist show up only to mention that I have been under research about terrorism.

The news program of STAR channel, connected three items in the video clip: Anarchism, Immigrants and Terrorism, which these items are exactly what Greek oligarchy regime used them as propaganda to act about social security.

Why social security is a important point for the state?

Because social security is the basic tool for the state to control the society. For us who have been lived in the middle east, it is very clear: If you need to control the society, you need to create a enemy, so you create a need for the society to have your protection from the enemy. Clearly what Greek media mafia have showed until now as enemy are: Anarchists and Immigrants. Read the rest of this entry »

ES/PT – Porto Alegre: Desobedezca – Viva! (Brasil)

March 26th, 2020

Chile: An Anarchist Perspective on the Coronavirus Pandemic

March 23rd, 2020

On a particularly chaotic Friday afternoon, Piñera inaugurated the nationwide chain reaction to the pandemic. Since the beginning of March, fear of the virus has slowly entered the conversation: between the agitated return to classes that seeks to be a replica (like an earthquake) of the October Revolt, the massive feminist demonstrations, the radicalization of the reactionary sectors and the imminence of the plebiscite, it is taking on more and more importance.

The international situation is no less complex. Last year saw the beginning of a new worldwide wave of revolts against capitalist normality, and the much manipulated “institutionality” seems to be collapsing from all sides, leaving room not only for insurgent creativity but also (and never so easily differentiated) for populism and fascism of all kinds.

The economy has been losing speed for some time, but the trade war between two declining powers, the manufactured rise in the price of oil, and the paralysis caused by the coronavirus, built the perfect storm to leave the stock market and its tangle of speculative fictions in free fall.

It is in this context that the disease arrives in our territory, with the state of exception still fresh in our memories. It starts in the upper classes, and we almost rejoice before remembering that they will not be the only ones to suffer its consequences. The government, always late, announces its measures. Clearly they are not enough, and their only objective is to ensure the free movement of capital. Some (the ones who see conspiracies at every corner) whisper that it is a strategy to cancel the plebiscite, that is apparently so dangerous. But we are clear that the intelligent fascist votes to approve, and that the government’s incompetence requires no more justification than its own class interests. Read the rest of this entry »

London ABC: Prison Makes Us Sick (UK)

March 22nd, 2020

In this moment of not knowing what’s coming next, the failure of this system is more and more clear: a world wired for ever-growing speed, circulation, and productivity, suddenly has to stop. In this moment when power gets more power, fed by the general panic of an unknown and new situation, there’s a pressing need to listen out and to fight for those who are most affected, those who already know what it is to be trapped, isolated and repressed.

We will be publishing information, hoping to amplify unheard voices, and to break the silence that risks making an intolerable situation even worse. Now, more than ever, those caged by the state face precarious conditions, with low hygienic standards, very poor healthcare and overcrowded cells. While the ‘managers’ of the crisis carefully calculate how this or that measure can protect the political and economic order, the basic steps we need to take to slow down the contagion are clear: keep distance between each other, maintain good hygiene and avoid crowded places. Inside, this will be difficult or impossible for many. We are not going to ‘take this on the chin’! Prison makes us sick!

Take a minute to share this poster, as an easy and first step to practicing solidarity. Email us with any questions. We won’t share any details without consent.

Saxony, Germany: Double Incendiary Attack Against Prison Construction Companies

March 22nd, 2020

An Early Easter Egg on Political Prisoners Day

We, as an early Easter egg, claim responsibility for the fires during the night of 18.03.2020 at two companies involved in the construction of the new Zwickau-Marienthal prison. [1]

Today is the anniversary of the International Day of Political Prisoners. This day was proclaimed to remember the many fighting comrades and comrades-in-arms who are in the dungeons of prisons worldwide. The date is based on the day on which the Paris Commune was proclaimed in 1871. For many people, the Paris Commune was and still is a reference point for revolutionary efforts for social justice and political freedom. The smashing of the Commune, the massacre of thousands of Communards and the deportation of hundreds of them to the penal colonies, where they died a slow death, was intended to show all revolutionaries in the world what a bourgeois government is prepared to do when it sees its power threatened.

Even today thousands of revolutionaries are sitting in the prisons of this world. The emancipatory struggle has been going on since the commune, and its children have come and are still coming under the wheels of repression. There has always been a struggle for the liberation and support of the prisoners. A fundamental critique of domination has been linked to a critique of the prison system and the morality of punishment. The demand for the liberation of the prisoners often turned into a demand to abolish prisons and to overcome the principle of punishment completely. Read the rest of this entry »

Umeå, Sweden: Windows smashed at cop school and at ecocidal company

March 22nd, 2020

The coronavirus is sweeping around the world. Death tolls are rising and the capitalist economy is seeing new lows for every day. The nation state apparatuses are using warlike measures to battle the pandemic. Borders closing, blanket curfews, quarantines, forced labour, the only people allowed in the streets are cops. It’s the state apparatus wet dream coming true. For us anarchists it is our worst nightmare turning into reality. What we see is a glimpse of the future. If there ever is a day civilisation falls to ruins this is somewhat how it will look like.

There will be no end of what measures state apparatuses will use to gain control. And in this game, who will be sacrificed? It will be the precarious workers, the migrants, the women associated persons… the others.

The coronavirus is our Earths latest weapon against the humans (Earlier versions were the Spanish flu and AIDS). This pandemic is a population control, a hit back and a revenge for all the wild animals, plants and habitats that the humans have enslaved, annihilated and destroyed. The coronavirus turns the civilisers who
thought they where immortal into mere mortals. What it all comes down to is a show of power. If humans ever thought they had some sort of control the coronavirus clearly shows what illusion this is. Humans and the civilisation have no control, no matter how much they try to annihilate the wild and the free. If our planet decides that our moment of rule is over, in an instant, just like that – people looking pale, some sneezing, some coughing, some deaths… silence… Read the rest of this entry »

Argentina: ‘The Impetuous Germination of Anarchy’ by Pampa Libre Cell (FAI-FRI)

March 22nd, 2020

“…Light in the Shadow
The enemy’s got to watch out
That only from that ancient place
The foundation stone could emerge
Which is spreading out of control
This land called
Our beloved America
And if necessary in the future
We will change the name.”

Sergio Terenzi (el Urubu)

1. (A) INTRO MODE

The handful of reflections that follow have come to us almost unintentionally. They are one more contribution to the debate on the issues that move us; a small stop on the troubled road we are now travelling. It is good to share visions about what worries us and throw them like a bottle into the sea… Perhaps they will serve to fertilize the sowing and/or sharpen the tools suitable to advance in the realization of what we dream…To all the warriors of praxis a sincere embrace from the region that fails to dominate (as they would like) the self-proclaimed state of Sargentino. May 1000 new rebellions flourish.

II. OF BEINGS AND DEEDS

We do not underestimate or mock the many ancient pagan cultures that are seeing, in these present times, the signs of an inevitable decline throughout the entire ill-treated and agonized blue planet that we inhabit. And we don’t dismiss it because (among other things…) beyond mysticism and conspiracies, the harsh reality shows us that this IS so. We feel the vertigo of the events in our skin; and we consider that it is a “self-fulfilling prophecy”. We refuse to look the other way as it would be alienating. The question is rather: what do we do?

The Plague and The Fire

March 21st, 2020

From plagueandfire.noblogs.org

We are building this site to address the situation that arose from the Korona virus epidemic.

Faced with a global scourge, we need to share radical reflections beyond linguistic and national borders.

Because fire can arise from the plague.

And fire can bring freedom.

This site was born from the desire to share reflections and materials on the consequences of this epidemic. Nurture a discussion that allows you to compare the critical tools that give everyone the opportunity to act in the present.

Act with a view to subvert the current social order, to free the planet and all living things from the scourge of this society.

As the history of London reminds us, fire can arise from the wounds, the demolition of the structures of dominion from fire. In the fire of 1666, during the plague epidemic, dozens of churches and a good part of many public buildings burned. Unfortunately, following that fire, London was rebuilt in a way that favored social control and city governance. This time we want to avoid that this moment of crisis leads to a restructuring of the current system. Read the rest of this entry »

Third Time Lucky

March 21st, 2020

We’re in Lockdown. Stay at home, we’re commanded. Only that which is most necessary for economic survival is permitted, but it is never stated of whose survival they speak. Even then we’re greeted by processions of police riot vans – lights flashing, show of force – informing us that we have to go home. Going about the minimum of daily activities is a danger to public health. It’s already been said in Italy that it’s amazing how quickly we forget: what it’s like to speak to a stranger, to touch someone, to encounter an unexpected moment amid the concrete drizzle of capital. The workhouses and temples of consumption are open but the shelves are almost bare. We have a social responsibility, they say. The healthcare system cannot cope and it is us that has to save it. Did someone say something about funding?

An invisible enemy. The stuff of apocalyptic films. The cause is not important, it’s just the flu after all, but the response is crucial. We are not measuring the number of deaths but the capacities of power. Swine flu and SARS failed to take the world by storm but they’ve nailed it this time. Everything that came before was a mere prototype for the finished product: a perfectly intangible terror that demands our complete subservience. It’s as though The Handmaid’s Tale, in all its controversial success, was a warm-up before the main act.

The supposed reach and severity of the Corona Virus is almost a mute subject. What’s important is who is going to take benefit, how, and who pays the price. The capitalist economic system is built on investment, but this time it’s starving itself ready for a rampage. When this is allover, when our glorious benefactors have saved us from near ruin and we welcome back with open arms a depleted economy that was fucking us before ‘the pandemic’, we have to think where we will be.

Waves of migrants washing upon even more hostile European shores. Solitary confinement becoming the prisoners’ permanent state. G4S quietly clean up after the morning matinee as we’re distracted by the charade in the main hall. Physical human interaction reduced to an Orwellian suspicion whilst the spectrum of human emotion is expressed through Whatsapp’s preset sticker selection. Facebook’s laughing as Instagram’s rewriting history with all our rebellious quotes.

Madrid: Arson of an electric car of the Car2Go company (Spain)

March 20th, 2020

On the night of February 24 to 25, we set fire to an electric car from the Car2Go company.

The new models of mobility and urbanism that are proposed to us by States and companies, in this case by way of “Carsharing” or “Smart Cities”, are part of a capitalist propaganda that seeks to whitewash the image of the hostile, devastating and inhuman capitalism of always. However, they are only an extension of the industrial disaster that perpetuates miserable conditions of existence that make its development and profit possible.
We do not want to reform capitalism, we want to destroy it. We don’t need any more reason to attack.

War on the State, capitalism and the daily annihilation of our lives.

For anarchy.
