From Enough is Enough
Sixteen years ago today, (July 20, 2001), 23 year old activist Carlo Giuliani was killed by Mario Placanica, a riot cop, during protests against the G8 summit in Genoa, Italy. One day later, on July 21st, 2001 cops raided the Diaz School in Genoa. Last month the European Court of Human Rights ruled unanimously that activists and journalists were tortured by cops during and after the raid. Today we remember Carlo Giuliani and all others who have fallen in the struggle against fascism, capitalism and oppression. Carlo Vive!
Its only a few weeks ago that special police forces pointed their machine guns at neighbours, journalists and protesters during the NoG20 protests. The SEK and COBRA squads had permission to shoot with live ammo in Hamburg. Hundreds of people were injured because of the orgy of police violence in Hamburg, which started days before the first stone was thrown. With police vans driving into crowds at full speed, the deployment of special police forces with machine guns and the way the police attack against the Welcome to Hell demo was carried out, cops putted peoples lives in danger.
The police violence in Hamburg remembered me of the orgy of violence by Italian cops in Genoa, Italy in 2001. (more…)

This is London.
London is at the heart of global capitalism. It is one of the main hubs of a worldwide system of money and power. Deals made here build factories in Asia, burn down forests in South America, and start wars in Africa. For billionaires, dictators, and other parasites London is a safe place to hide out, launder money, and go shopping. These people are not untouchable. They are right here on our doorstep, and they have names and addresses. (more…)

“11 June 2013. #J11.
One Common Struggle.
Carnival Against Capitalism.”
London is right at the heart of global capitalism. And the West End of London, including elite areas like Piccadilly, Mayfair and Knightsbridge, is where power and greed are most concentrated. The West End is home to:
* Corporations. Many of the world’s most brutal and polluting companies, including oil and mining giants, arms dealers, and the businesses profiting from cuts and privatisation.
* Vulture funds. Global base of the “hedge fund” and “private equity” industries, laundering the world’s blood money to invest in war, food speculation and debt slavery.
* Tyrants. Government offices, embassies, cultural and commercial fronts of colonial powers and murderous regimes.
* Playground of the mega-rich. Middle Eastern dictators, Russian mafia oligarchs, and home-grown parasites all see London as a “safe” place to hide and spend their loot. (more…)

English translation of poster:
Vandalism and looting is what we live everyday. The revolt explodes.
The window panes of the rulers of the world are bursting. The only regret: That we did not do it enough.
On 13th July the last grade of judgement against 10 comrades, convicted for having participated in the clashes occurred in Genoa in 2001 on the occasion of the G8 summit, will be held. The comrades were given heavy sentences, ranging from 10 to 15 years, by the Court of Genoa and now their imprisonment may become executive. Ten people are being used as scapegoats: through them, the State wants to attack the hundreds of thousands of people who took to the streets in those days, and particularly those who contributed to unleashing the revolt against the arrogance of the Powerful. We won’t accept the reprisal of the State; condemning these comrades means to attack the whole movement. (more…)

Please find here all information needed to coordinate the anti-g8 actions days : a map for events, logos to publish your actions, contacts, live news,…
Actually 33 cities in 6 countries already announced publicly their actions (map/site is being updated), many others said they participate but did not release any official communication so those locations will be published after the actions to avoid alerting the local police.
It is really important that you send us your announcement if your action is public so people can join you. After actions please send quickly as many reports (texts, videos, photos) as you can !
