An arsonist has started four fires in Banbury leaving the High Street closed. At about 2.15am, three ATMs in High Street were set alight causing damage to the buildings although no money was stolen. The three banks targeted were Santander, Yorkshire Bank and Lloyds. A short time later, Freemasons Hall in nearby Marlborough Road was also set alight. All four fires were believed to have been started deliberately using petrol. See below for more photos… (more…)

On May 29, at about 11 PM, we burned down an ATM branch of Yapi Kredi Bank in
Kadikoy, Istanbul. This act is to be a reminder that without bringing damage to the system and its institutions there can be no real talk of freedom. Those who seek to disrupt the power relations that shape all the aspects of our daily life can only do so by permanent attack.
We call everyone who is fed up with the tyranny of the forces of establishment to sabotage the oppression-and-injustice-yielding state apparatus and the finance organizations that pull its strings, and thereby to reverse the ordinary flow of life.
This act is dedicated to Berkin Elvan and Uğur Kurt who has been murdered by the police.

Eylemimizi polis tarafından katledilen Berkin Elvan’a ve Uğur Kurt’a adıyoruz.

Incendiary attack at Yate Magistrates Court on 22nd May in memory of Maurico Morales by FAI – Conscience & Fury (UK)
Friday, May 23rd, 2014
Communique censored by the pacifist-judiciary of Indymedia UK:
RESPONSIBILITY CLAIM – SOLIDARITY KNOWS NO LAW
We firebombed the courthouse in central Yate, on 22nd May. 10 camping gas canisters were enough to devastate the front lobby, with a homemade napalm mixture as the detonator. We chose the early hours to avoid any injuries. Social war doesn’t sleep: at any given time, irrepressibles somewhere are awake and angry, raging against impositions of the governing system which wants us as its cogs. That night it happened to be us.
New and bigger custody centers; more restrictive laws, injunctions and “anti-social behavior” legislation; legal aid reduced to entrap the poor; phonelines for snitching; different shades of cops embedding themselves throughout the layers of society; probation schemes to reinsert convicts into the world of wage-slavery and consumerism; a whole prison-world of concrete cities and surveilled data-streams overseen by the powerful, armed with CCTV, biometrics and electronic tagging to defend their wealth and social order…
And also carrying out this authoritarian disciplining of the individual, are the courts. Enforcers of human misery, shamelessly applying laws drawn up by the upper classes, politicians and business leaders. Stamping down to subdue people who are mostly trying to find means of survival while capitalism pits all against all.
The justice system tries to pass itself off as the only protection from the very same desperation and imbalances that civilized society creates. Its real function is and has always been to protect and sanctify property and privilege above all: and to usurp free communities or individuals capacity for autonomy, retaliation or reconciliation. In the early hours of Sunday, May 18 we went for a walk through the streets of the predominantly rich Sydney neighborhood of Woolahra looking for suitable targets for us to express our rage upon.
It didn’t take long for us to find what we were looking for!
We set fire to 3 luxury cars – a BMW and a Nissan X-Trail on Queen St and a Lexus on Moncur St.
We left the scene quickly as the flames of rebellion lit up the early morning sky.
We dedicate this action to our comrades from the Fire Wolves Cell & also the
Felicity Ann Ryder Cell in Melbourne, to all FAI / IRF fighters everywhere & to all imprisoned anarchist & insurrectionist fighters fighting for dignity behind the walls of injustice everywhere!

This is to claim responsibility for the complete destruction by fire of three colonial structures at the so-called Royal Botanical Gardens in South Yarra, Melbourne in the small hours of May 16.
We put these filthy monuments of colonial oppression to the torch in the name of indigenous & anti-colonial resistance both here in Australia & in all other parts of the world & to spit in the faces of all those who seek to tame what is wild into sterile botanical prisons.
We also send greetings of fire & smoke to imprisoned resistance fighters everywhere!

Phoenix Project #12 : ICR – FAI/IRF take responsibility for arson barrage in solidarity with Adriano Antonacci, Gianluca Iacovacci, other worldwide anarchist prisoners and the combative memory of Sebastian O. Seguel (Indonesia)

Phoenix Project #12 [previous acts here.]
“Our words, carve today like a blade and our actions burn the bridges with yesterday… With tenacity and will, until we murder authority.”
– Conspiracy of Cells of Fire: Prisoners Cell, Andreas Tsavdaridis and Sypros Mandylas, (Letter to Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai)
The declarations of war against authority won’t stop with one single action nor one single letter of publication. It is a totality of our lives, each one of us, who stands here as egoists under the name of International Conspiracy for Revenge (ICR) as part of the Informal Anarchist Federation/International Revolutionary Front. We won’t step back, even if we are isolated or deserted by the other “revolutionary anarchists” who devoted themselves to the dreams of society, those who let their own values as anarchists be imposed wholly by reformism, negotiation and conformity. We are out of their league and we won’t play their game. We have our own, one of violence and direct action. With nihilist comradeship through fire and fists to our comrades locked behind bars everywhere, in Europe, in South America and Mexico. Our comradeship also goes to those anonymous comrades who went underground to carry on a constant confrontation with Power.
Recent Situation Concerning the General Election in Indonesia
Since the first New Year fireworks started, all forms of oppression revelled in the curiosity and impatience before the general election (both the parliamentary election and the presidential election). We saw how the oppressors and the oppressed were walking hand-in-hand to celebrate what they call: The time of new hope for a better change. They printed the faces of those who are running for parliament and others are debating what should they do to contribute to make democracy better than they have it nowadays. Mass and social media all filled with empty words and the camouflage of how the general election will bring the oppressed to gain their freedom. And that is definitely right, because Indonesians will have the chance to choose who will be their oppressors for the next five years.
We are not even surprised when we found out that those who claimed themselves as anti-authoritarians were also merely trapped into the logic of giving your voice during an election or abstaining.
They producing memes, producing posters, shouting it out, organizing people, just not to vote. To say no to voting boxes, to say no to the parliaments candidates; they say no to the parties, they say no to every infrastructure of the voting system, but forget one important thing. To say no to the boundaries that kept them away from real freedom. They wish a different result by trying the similar way as used by Power. And how it can lead you to freedom? A question that doesn’t need an answer, since it is useless to question the choices of these people.
Anarchism is dead. And these people are the ones who proudly carry the coffin of their so-called ideology: Anarchism. An ideology of the weak and cowardly who called us “obsessed with violence” to cover up their fear. They are afraid to arm themselves and walk alone into battle, a long battle without end or goal.
And how different are we from these mobs?
We performed our disagreement with both those mobs by burning down two offices of the general election committee located in Donggala, Central Sulawesi on 16th April. We won’t stay away and let our enemy play around with their party of democracy. We directly sent our anger and transformed it into fire. We are not abstaining in this war. We attack.
We are not those anarchists who went to voting spots and painted slogans and chants on the ballot boxes. We won’t smear our values by letting our finger be painted with purple ink, a sign used by the authorities to identify who voted and those who did not. We won’t let one single inch in our body be polluted by our enemy. On the contrary, we attacked them without compromise.
On another chance, we sabotaged two cars (28th April) which were planned to transfer the ballots from South East Minahasa district to the capital city of province, Manado. We hit them not only to cause delay, but for our further action, which we cancelled because of an intervention by some “good citizens”. Next time, we will hit those who prevent us from our actions. With violence, of course.
Abstaining by not giving our voices is not enough for us. We want to bring this confrontation to be more wild than mere words or posters. We want to speak through fire, as we mentioned in one of our communiques before. But we don’t invite anyone to join us. We are not interested to have new members. We are not a party nor an anarchist collective. We are an armed group of the tendency of violence. To attack, and not to open a dialogue with our enemies.
Solidarity and Fire
During our campaign, we targeted some important spots which were never targeted before. We are expanding our targets by adding some more variety to them. On 19th April, for example, we burnt down the branch of the national electric office in Madiun, East Java. This action is part of our campaign to hit the vital spots of the enemy. By causing as much damage as we can. Causing terror as wide as we can. We set the fire early morning 3.00am, and let the flames do the rest. Awakening people in the morning with fire is our way to show our sarcasm to the workers who need to get up in the early morning for eight hours of slavery.
We chose this target as our way to send a message to Adriano Antonacci and Gianluca Iacovacci. Both are Italian comrades arrested and accused for several actions claimed by Anti-Civilization Subversive Individualities FAI/IRF. And our fire is specifically dedicated to two of them, to share our thoughts and dreams, our values and solidarity and to let both of them know that they are in our hearts. We will never forget comrades who are captured by the enemy.
And revenge is the only way to reply to this repression.
We continued our campaign by putting a similar incendiary device in the national electric company located in Semarang, Central Java, in early morning 23rd April, which failed to ignite. In fact, we swarmed over the security guard that came by when we were sneaking into the office. He is lucky we decided to let him down and not put an end to his life.
It’s not a mercy from us, but merely a warning that we are not playground kids who are playing around with fire. If one steps before our path, we won’t regret to help you to meet your end. All snoopers or wannabe good-citizens are part of the enemy for us. And please take it serious and do not say that we never warned you beforehand.
In the early part of this month, we continued our campaign by attacking another three power plants in three different places. One in Ternate (5th May), North Maluku and another two in Ambon (8th May), Maluku. We would like the enemy to know that all the regions are not safe and we will attack more and more next time.
All these actions are dedicated to our beloved comrades, Conspiracy of Cells of Fire; Prisoners Cell, Andreas Tsavdaridis – Spyros Mandylas, Gabriel Pombo da Silva, Marco Camenisch, Monica Caballero, Fransisco Solar, Tamara Sol Vergara, Fredy Fuentevilla – Marcelo Villarroel – Juan Aliste Vega, Hans Niemeyer, Alvonso Alvial – Hermez Gonzales, Alfredo Cospito – Nicola Gai, Giannis Mihailidis, Grigoris Sarafoudis, Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos, Alexandros Mitrousias, Dimitris Politis, Fivos Harisis, Tasos Theofilou, Argiris Dalios, Giorgos Karagiannidis, Babis Tsilianidis, Giannis Naxakis, Nikos Romanos.
And to remember our brother, Sebastian O. Seguel, who fell in the battle against the enemy in Chile. These acts of revenge are for you, brother.
Through these actions, we want to re-call our comrades of FAI-IRF to once again strike and re-launch the Phoenix Project. This time, harder than before. We want to call all active cells of FAI/IRF to once again go to reinforce the war, this time until the end.

*Note : this is an edited version of a post that appeared on an Australian underground electronic music blog, we thought it was of interest to the wider anarchist-insurrectionist community worldwide.
Things are heating up in this country with one of the most unpopular governments in Australian history now in charge – although they came to power with a landslide victory so go figure! ‘Austerity’ is the name of the game for Australia’s current batch of ultra-conservative crypto-corporate overlords which means increases in the cost of living & cuts to every social service you can think of along with the customary scapegoating of immigrants, the indigenous & other vulnerable members of society – unless you are rich and connected then you and your hard earned finances are in the firing line, and let’s not forget the absolute rape of Australia’s resources & natural environment that has gone into overdrive since these bastards took power and the arse-kissing of corporate & foreign powers as they continue to loot the continent. Berlin: Phoenix Project #11 – Autonomous Cell “Christos Kassimis” takes responsibility for several attacks (Germany)

Phoenix Project: Smoke signals from Berlin
“The fire comes into your cities, into your nights. From our spirit within, we carve its path towards all of you. It will warm our friends with solidarity and will ignite their zest for action. It will turn our enemy into ashes. Imprint us well in your memory. We want your heart. No matter who you are. No matter who I am either. Maybe the Conspiracy will turn both of us into ashes and at the same time fill us with life. What counts is the path we are going, and that we take this path because we have the freedom to choose. This freedom is nothing to be fought for but rather evolves in the mind. What comes afterwards is not freedom but the power over one’s own life. We do not discuss this; this is what we fight for.”(CCF)
Responsibility claim for some arsons of the past weeks in Berlin
On April 8th, 2014 we torched a vehicle of the municipal regulatory authority, and the car of a security company, near the main railway station in Berlin.
Berlin’s municipal regulatory authorities are being tasked by the normal cops to persecute administrative offenses and to keep their eyes and ears open in the everyday life of the metropolis. Small, lousy snoopers equipped with radio transmitter and pepper spray. They work, just like the cops, together with private security companies. At the main railway station, they share a parking lot designated for officials with a security firm right next to a police station.
We also take responsibility for the arson at an embassy vehicle belonging to a Greek female diplomat, on April 24th in Berlin’s district Dahlem, which is filled with villas.
Diplomatic representatives of a State are exactly the right address for fiery mailings; this rubs away their feeling of superiority and invulnerability, same as it happened recently with the German ambassador in Athens, when shots were fired at his house. The State itself is the problem, something which many fighters of sectional struggles do not take into consideration. Nazis are State; armament and nuclear technology are State; climate change and poverty are also State.
With our action we negate the State’s monopoly on violence.
Germany takes a position which promotes repression in regard to the situation of migration policies in Greece. It’s not enough for the German politics that a majority of the refugees who arrive in Greece end up in concentration camps and that they are hunted and killed by Nazis, with or without uniform. The German politicians consider the few ones, who manage to cross the Greek border alive, as a threat to their rich white world. So, for example, the former German Minister of the Interior, Friedrich, demands stronger border controls and tougher action against those who, because of their home’s exploitation by Western societies, are forced to escape war, hunger and repression. The practical support of this mass murder that takes place at European borders is visible to everyone when Germany’s detectives of the Federal Criminal Police Office (BKA) are stationed in Greek airports, in order to pass their knowledge in Racial Profiling on to their Greek colleagues. The German governmental apparatus has supported the murders at European borders not only by sending personnel but also by pressing towards agreements at the European level, such as the Dublin II regulation.
On August 10th, 2013 a riot broke out in Amygdaleza, a concentration camp which is located 25km north of Athens, where migrants are held captive by the Greek State. The prisoners set their mattresses and cells on fire to protest against the conditions in the camp, guards were attacked, and many migrants tried to break out of the prison —about ten prisoners temporarily escaped.
Solidarity to prisoners
We greet the prisoners Andreas-Dimitris Bourzoukos, Dimitris Politis, Yannis Michailidis, Nikos Romanos, who were arrested on February 1st, 2013, accused of double robbery in Velventos, Kozani.
Our solidarity also goes out to Fivos Harisis, Argyris Ntalios, Yannis Naxakis and Grigoris Sarafoudis, who were arrested for the same case in Nea Filadelfeia, Athens.
Force and strength to our brothers and our sister, Damiano Bolano, Haris Hadjimihelakis, Giorgos Polydoros, Panagiotis Argyrou, Theofilos Mavropoulos, Christos Tsakalos, Giorgos Nikolopoulos, Michalis Nikolopoulos and Olga Ekonomidou.
Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar
Freedom for all prisoners!
In memory of Sebastián Oversluij, who fell in battle against the capitalist system. Freedom for Hermes González and Alfonso Alvial. Freedom for Tamara Sol!
Strength, force and courage to all people who are fighting. For all the migrants that set off to break through Fortress Europe. All those who have fallen. All the unnamed. All those who fight the pigs in the streets of Athens.
Against the construct of borders and nations. Against prisons! For freedom! For anarchy!
Autonomous Cell “Christos Kassimis”
Christos Kassimis [member of the Revolutionary People’s Struggle (ELA)] was killed by cops in Athens, during an attempted attack on the German company AEG on the 20th of October 1977. The action was in response to the murder of prisoners [three members of the RAF] in Stammheim.
Translators’ notes: we translated the words from German as best we could, however the exact origin of this quotation is unknown to us; for the case of Velventos, Fivos Harisis and Argyris Ntalios (not all four of them); apparently the name of Gerasimos Tsakalos was inadvertently omitted.

During the night of February 14th we, the silent shadows, sneaked into the tree cutters camp.
It was 3 o’clock in the night, but the workers were awake. They were going back-and-forth around the encampment, one quarry excavator was raping Nature while guards were watching TVs on their posts drinking beer. In our experience the camp was pretty large: 6-7 living sheds, several sheds for tools, 2 passenger cars, 3 excavators and 1 grader. Having sneaked between sheds and vehicles, we selected two excavators that looked as the most recent addition to local park (i.e., their loss will be most expensive). After that we followed routine procedure: put some rags around engine parts and oil pumps, soaked them with gasoline, etc. After we left the area, we tarried for some time to enjoy the night view. Both excavators were trailing huge columns of smoke into the air. We establish the damage done at around 6-8 million rubles (approx. 200 000 USD).
We hope this act will slow down operations in this quarry. The area already boasts several abandoned quarries. Since our initial recon in this district large tracts of wood were drained and cut in order to clear up space for more quarry works. The sand excavated in here is used for future development projects that do not take Nature or clean air into account.
We wish best of luck to all of you. Keep that fire burning.

via contra info:
1,000 hours of theory equal 1 minute of action.
In the early morning hours of Friday, March 21st, 2014, we attacked the tax office of the Nea Ionia district in the city of Volos. We chose to torch the tax archives, and poured records with gasoline and lit them on fire. Our goal was to expand the flames throughout the whole of the building, but due to lack of oxygen the fire didn’t spread. Next time we’ll be more cautious.
– The reasons why we chose to target the tax office are self-evident. Our only debt to the main predatory mechanism of the State is its destruction.
– Action replaces tears.
– We take action to overcome our fears.
– We will not wait for any condition to become ripe.
– We will not wait for any society to wake up.
– We will not wait for any ‘revolutionary’ to revolutionize oneself.
We urge anyone who doesn’t want to live a slavish life, anyone who consciously opposes this aging world, to let go of the miseries and ideologized inactivity, and act aggressively.
Let us be the ones who start to determine the current event agenda.
Anarchists in action
Thursday, February 27th, 2014
While we lit a cold and dark night with a pile of iron, the rising flames could be seen far from the site and aside from the pleasure that has given us, the action was taken in the service of eco-vandalism lobby which has a name that’s never been heard.
On Thursday, February 20th, in Poyraz rural regions of Anatolian part of Istanbul, we attacked an excavator which is left to sleep on the verge of excavating the nature and we spray painted several locations around the site with the signs of ‘ELF-FAI/IRF’. While this nature killer became unusable with a simple, time-set, handmade incendiary device, the message we wanted to give was clear: “If you build it, we will burn and destroy it!”.
Our major motivations for this action are;
We wanted to emphasize that the definitive attack against the dictatorship which legitimizes itself by conducting ecocide projects such as ‘3. Bosphorus Bridge’ and ‘Canal Istanbul’, has to be manifested no more relying on stereotypes liberal-pacifist “consciousness raising campaigns” and “judicial process”. These kind of organizations are just trying to delay what is unavoidable and to hinder the reasonable eco-defense ground against current ecological destruction. Trying to get a positive decision from the State’s justice system which is actually the contractor of ecocides, they help weakening the anger by channeling it to polls or social media shares. (more…)

On the night of February 11-February 12, 2014, a vehicle of SPIE burst into flames, on Carducci street (ΧΙΧe).
SPIE is involved in the nuclear industry, in the optical fiber digital network and in the “1,000 cameras” plan, in the city of Paris. For these reasons, it must be attacked everywhere, all the time.
Snitch hunting has begun!
We send a greeting of love and struggle to the comrades whose trial started on February 3, in Koridallos women’s prisons. For anarchy!

11-02-2014, Royal Marine Reserve base in Clifton, Bristol.
Military propaganda portrays the armed forces as protectors of ‘the people’. Since the first civilisations this has been used to justify conquest and occupation of territory for the ruling classes, sacrificing their lackeys to build up empires big or small.
We’re expected to believe (or at least act as if we believe) that what’s in the politicians, the generals and the economists interests is really in our interests.
But we’re not fooled. This morning smoke rose above Clifton from the two vans and one large white personnel transporter we’d torched with low-tech firestarters after breaching the compound of the Royal Marine Reserve’s Bristol detachment, who’ve been deployed in Iraq and Afghanistan. It’s disgusting how these part-time commandos think they can operate here with immunity while elsewhere they and their colleagues slaughter, rape and terrorize. Alexander Blackman – the British Marine executioner exposed recently for his actions in Afghanistan – is only one example of their systematic wider brutality, and not the pitied aberration he’s painted as. Besides, wherever the military are they’re a symbol of the State domination they enforce. Perhaps to anyone with a view over this compound that symbol is now a little shaken. For the gears of the warmachine these guerrilla strikes behind the lines remain a constant threat. (more…)
Thursday, January 30th, 2014
During the night of new 2014 year we joined the celebrations of burning symbols of oppression. A quarry excavator was torched in one of the active quarries of Krasnoselsk district in Belarus. 10 liters of gasoline and significant number of rags was used for the act as the thing was huge, the size of country cottage. Security guards invited a streetwalker for the night (this happened in front of our surprised eyes). So in 30 minutes after they started socializing we lighted up the night of passion and happiness with flames of burning vehicle.
Merry crisis and a happy new fear!
– Friends of Freedom, FAI-FRI
Tuesday, January 14th, 2014
During the night of December 31 – January 1 we torched 2 vehicles used in development project in Southern Moscow. Security didn’t expect us to show up as they were busy drinking themselves into oblivion at the guardhouse. So we used 2 jelly cans of gasoline and some rags to destroy unguarded machinery. No harm came from our actions (only harm being made was that to the developer’s purse).
We dedicate this action to anarchists from Belarus, those who stay imprisoned. Guys, we remember you, we miss you and wait for you to become free again. We ask for ABC Belarus to help us in spreading this information and letting our imprisoned comrades know of our words and deed. We hope the news will help to lighten up the mood and keep you warm and smiling in the grey prison reality.
As for our ecodefence activism, we are not planning to make a U-turn. Unlike Mrs. Chirikova [self-proclaimed leader of mass protests during Khimki forest struggle – trans.] we are not looking for a comfortable chair in local administration. So we can afford to do what needs be done. We don’t accept moanings like: “Violence is bad, we shouldn’t be torching vehicles, we should get more signatures under petition, so as to be heard by federal government.” This reminds us of the fears of a person who’s afraid to loose the goodwill of powers-that-be. If we allow somebody to commit violence against ourselves, it means we’re raising the white flag. It is time to question the rationale behind continuous withdrawal under the blows of authorities. It is time to stop hiding your inability to act behind phrases like: “we shouldn’t act, this is violent tactics” or “this is too macho-ist” or “this is illegal”. If you want to ask for permission to protest, you must understand that you’re in fact selling yourselves. Only uncontrollable forms of resistance can hope to remain free. Any protest coordinated from under liberal umbrella organization is doomed to a failure. Gather your strengths, stay free and be wild, god damn it!
