We are separated by continents, seas and borders but united by the black spirit for total liberation of life. Life where each of us live as dignified individuals, surrounded by pieces of collapse of the society. We never met you before but deep down in our soul of rebellion, we proudly call you: brothers.
Our hearts hurt when heard that all of you beaten by pigs. Our anger is finding the way through this letter to let you know that we are next to you. When got the news that you are kidnapped by the state, we felt pain that made us rise our fist of revenge for you. We lost our brother yesterday and we don’t want to lose another one anymore.
For now, we only can speak and spread your news through our blog and other tools. Making this news as a hammer to break up all the silences. Reaching all our sisters and brothers to join in the international act of solidarity to call your freedom, all of you.
Keep healthy and strong!
With love to all of you!
And fire to all enemies!

“What is a bank robbery compared with the founding of a bank?”
International revolutionary solidarity to the 4 arrested comrades of Kozani double bank robbery. Prison cannot hold freedom’s dreams, which escape through the bars to continue the attacks. Every night that a captured brother or sister spends behind bars becomes more fires in the night, more stones through façades, hundreds of flyposters, graffiti, and various other outbreaks of insurrectionary vengeance. Respect and complicity with the determination and courage of those who rob banks. The villains are those who own and protect them. Capital remains our enemy – Expropriation is dignity – The war continues on every level. Let’s target again the concepts, individuals, strong-houses and mechanisms of the system and eliminate their world.
An incendiary hug to the comrades Nikos Romanos, Dimitris Politis, Andreas-Dimitris Mpourzoukos and Giannis Michailidis.

Our days pass, our nights don’t
We run toward our escape, whilst around us a full-out manhunt is playing out. Behind us lies a life that is predetermined, carved from the hands of the sovereign, with the aim for us to internalise submission as an objective condition, to morally legitimise systems of law and rules, to equalise the individual with a statistical logic of numbers. Ahead of us, the world of our “utopian” fantasies that is conquered with violence alone. One life, one chance and determined choices.
Gaze at the gap in-between the clouds and jump, because the fall was never a more certain choice.
On Friday, 01.02, along with a group of comrades, we conducted a double robbery, of the Agricultural Bank and the Post Office in Velvento, Kozani. In our opinion it is of some importance to analyse, to an extent, the operational part of the robbery. This, primarily in order to highlight all the elements of the case, the choices that we made, the mistakes we conducted and the reasons that lead us to these:
And so, on that Friday morning, we attacked the two targets split in two teams. Our aim from the upstart was to take the money from both safes, as it did indeed happen. During our escape, a series of unfortunate events and mistaken handling of these lead to the exposure both of our vehicle as well as our direction to the police.
Due to the police grip that was automatically formed, the comrade driving the van that was externally transformed to look like an ambulance, sought exit routes for the team conducting the robberies. In this attempt of his, he made the mistake of driving three times in front of a vehicle of the cops, which resulted in him being considered suspect. A chase followed and then, due to non-familiarity with the area that he ended up in, he reached four dead ends in the mud-roads of the pits, which resulted in him being surrounded in the last one – and having no other actual space to escape. And so, once he set the van alight, he was arrested. Following these developments and while our comrade with the escape vehicle was already in the hands of the cops, our available options were significantly narrowed down. (more…)

ANNOUNCEMENT OF THE C.C.F.
Translated by Actforfreedomnow/boubourAs
If we speak, we speak because we do not abandon the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire in the cesspool of state propaganda. For the robbery in Kozani, the exclusivity is held by the arrestees themselves, who are not members of the Conspiracy. Besides, the conspiracy was not “hit” by these arrests and our perceptions as well as our cells remain unscathed…
However, because the state mechanism of propaganda is constantly referring to the Conspiracy, we clarify our position. Anarchist urban guerrillas are not “good kids”, neither do have the need to be defended by the hypocrites of humanism and the contractors of leftist sensitivity.
Anarchist urban guerrillas abandon the role of the victim in order to take positions as offenders against this passive silence of society.
We know that anarchist violence against the regime is the only way to liberation. Those who hesitate to arm themselves, will be proven too cowardly to live with dignity. Far from the humanistic rhetoric and crocodile tears over the beaten faces of the arrestees, specific choices were hit. The choice of robbing a bank aiming at the support of illegal aformalistic anarchist cells was, is and will be an anarchist practice.
In the war against the state and its society you do not ask for mercy from the enemy. Anarchists of praxis do not respect any bourgeois legality. The matter is not for someone to speak of police arbitrariness, but to attack first, here and now. Besides, life will always belong to one kind of people, the people of action.
Strength to the 4 anarchist hostages who are persecuted for the robbery in Kozani.
We support those who support their choices and remain unrepentant.
WE CREATE AND ORGANIZE 10, 100, 1000 CELLS OF THE CONSPIRACY…
LONG LIVE THE INFORMAL ANARCHIST FEDERATION (FAI/IRF)
The imprisoned members of the C.C.F.
P.S. We wholeheartedly send our solidarity to comrades Alfredo Cospito and Sergio Maria Stefani who the screws of the Italian prisons forbid to have visits as well as our friend and hunger striker since 4/2/13 Spiros Dravilas who the greek “correctional” system vengefully deprives him of his days of leave.

From Athens IMC via OccupiedLondon:
We steal a couple of words from the cells of the detention centre where we are held hostage, in order to state our aims and our intentions and to clear up the air regarding the recent events.
As Anarchists, we deem the choice of a bank robbery as a conscious act of resistance. Our act did not aim at the creation of personal wealth. The attack against the temples of capital is part of our revolutionary activity as a whole. (more…)
Athens: Anarchist Tasos Theofilou arrested and accused of bank robbery and membership of the R.O. CCF (Greece)
Friday, August 24th, 2012
Tasos Theofilou was arrested in Athens accused of robbing a bank in Paros Island August 18th, 2012 where a man was killed while trying to stop the robbers. He states that he is an anarchist.
He has denied having anything to do with the robbery and the murder at Paros. He claims he wasn’t even on the island that day. He is also accused of being part of the organization “Conspiracy of Cells of Fire” and of carrying out terrorist actions.
ALL CHARGES ARE BASED SOLELY ON THE DNA EVIDENCE. DNA does not give 100% safe results as it has been pointed out by scientists.
His lawyer, Spiros Fitrakis, had stated since Wednesday that his client denies all charges, and also disputes the way they took the DNA through which he was identified as the perpetrator in the Paros case. It should be noted that the cooperating media snitches have already shown photos of him since the first day and have condemned him before there is even a trial.
We would like to express our solidarity to anarchist comrade Tasos Theofilou.

If you fight against the state, if you fight for a better world, fight for freedom, there is a chance that you will get thrown to the cage – that is the place where I stay. For over 15 years now. In the infernal regions, kept in isolation for security reasons, for more than 10 years. I was arrested in 1996, and only released into the general prison population in 2007.
In October 1996 I was arrested after a bank robbery to raise money for left-wing projects – legal and illegal ones. I was convicted to 11 and a ½ years and P.D. (Preventive Detention, based on a Nazi-law from 1933 which permits the state to keep me in custody for a life-time, as long as they believe that I am a “threat to public safety”). Because I fought back strong they kept me in isolation for more than 10 years; I have spent the last 4 years in the general prison population, but I refuse to cooperate with the state nor accept forced labour. In the 22 November trial of Alfredo and Christos for bank robbery in Trikala, Alfredo M. Bonnano was sentenced to 4 years imprisonment (which practically means that with the time served so far and the fact that he is over 70 years old, he was released). Christos Stratigopoulos (who took responsibility for the action) was sentenced to 8 years and 9 months and with the Greek law will probably be released at the end 2011. (more…)

The anarchist Giannis Dimitrakis was arrested heavily wounded after a robbery at a branch of the National Bank in the center of Athens, on January 16th, 2006.
He defended the choice to expropriate a bank, without statements of remorse and with clarity about his motives and intentions. He gave meaning to his act as a moment in his critique and action against the system of wage slavery and exploitation, against the antisocial role of the banks and as a part of the polymorphic social struggle.

(The hearing for the appeal of anarchist comrade George Voutsis-Vogiatzis, arrested for bank robbery, was set for June 7th, 2010 but was postponed for May 6th, 2011. Here’s a translated interview he gave to the newspaper “Proto Thema” on May 9th 2010)
-The tragic account of the march last Wednesday counts three deaths, among them a pregnant woman, which with other victims were locked inside Marfin bank. Murders attributed to the anarchists Molotov…
The emotional and political gap in the last hours after the death of the three workers in the bank from asphyxiation can not be described in words or replaced by actions, counterbalancing or convictions. The value of human life when its not jointly responsible for the criminal plans of authority is the purest in the world. Of course, the anarchist movement is not accountable towards this event. Anarchists are not representatives of abstract violence. Anarchists express revolutionary violence. A violence expressed by targeting state and capital. The operation of de-politicizing the anarchist movement will not work for them again. Anarchists are proving, especially in recent years, through carrying out attacks with Molotov cocktails, gas canisters and other means of action against targets of authority that they never turned against the life of the workers since in every case, people involved in those actions first make sure to evacuate the buildings or attacking them at night when they are closed. In a society of deceit and hypocrisy, of backstabbing and betrayal; there where human relationships are molded on personal profit and exploitation, within the narrow limits of involuntary/obligatory choices, the scope of creating honest and sincere ties of social or political solidarity becomes constricted, suffocated. And if in many cases personal interest and vanity create a concrete mass in a common course between those in power, economic elites, political groups and other subgroups thus creating the illusion of a solid front, then in as many other cases it has been proven that when these same are confronted with pressuring and extremely negative conditions with the possibility of a total collapse approaching, the seeming powerful gluing element which created these cohesive bonds retreats in an instant, leaving behind a crowd of subhumans, each one looking to save themselves and not hesitating of handing over into the hands of the until lately common enemy their until recently political-social-economic partner. The two anarchist comrades, Alfredo Maria Bonanno and Christos Stratigopoulos, accused of being involved in a bank robbery in Trikala, Greece have had their bail refused. Alfredo must come out of the prison now. Alfredo has serious health problems and needs medical treatment.
Alfredo Maria Bonanno remains inside the prison based on his ideas and long reputation as a writer and theorist of anarchism. An anarchism which is not yet dead, which is not yet decaying in the pages of history but is very much alive and growing in ferocity. An anarchism which will tear a hole in the guts of the European Union.
An anarchism long based in the South European ‘Mediterranean Triangle’, of Greece, Italy, and Spain, however finding fertile, rich ground to spread within many more minds not held by any borders, who are receptive to the anarchist vision of a future world without Church, State and Capital. Neither subjugation nor poverty.
This is an anarchism of freedom, joy and solidarity. An anarchism of stones and fire, of subversion and attack. This is the dynamite that explodes against the class enemy in Santaigo, Chile; the broken and smashed banks of countless dead cities of the USA & UK; the burnt BMW and Porsche of Berlin and Hamburg, Germany, which light up the night-sky for a precious passer-by; the gas-canister defence of Thessaloniki and Athens now turned quite deadly.
This is the anarchism of a complicit glance exchanged in a hostile crowd, or in a queue, or at work; sometimes like a smile, a warm expression of joy, sometimes like a friend who picks you up from the dirty punch you took all your life, or sometimes like the bullets which will find themselves periodically in the heads of powerful individuals and their pawns.
Alfredo; a writer who never betrayed his ideas in the pen and ink of conjecture, but wrote his words to express the realities around him, insights which came from the living social struggle that still remains in the hearts of many people, who will never stop dreaming about a beautiful life that has been denied to them by the prison society of capitalism and power.
This is an anarchism which cannot be jailed, cannot be repressed, cannot be put out, because it does not belong to anyone. This is an anarchism, which through the simple methods which people use to defend themselves from oppression, communicates itself through resistance and so finds friends everywhere that people have not given up hope that they can change the conditions that make their life miserable.
