From 13 to 15 September, the heads of government of all European countries will meet with the Chinese government in Leipzig. This will not only be about intensifying trade relations. Rather, it will be about building a new global partnership so that the EU is not ousted from the table of the great powers in the future. The deterioration in the EU’s relationship with the USA under Donald Trump has made it necessary to find another partner to coordinate the shaping of its own global interests with the EU. The topics of the summit are therefore not only economic relations, but also foreign and security policy and – unsurprisingly – digitalisation and digital cooperation, as well as climate protection and human rights. The summit is based on strategic position papers which already began in the EU-China 2020 Strategic Agenda for Cooperation from 2013 and have since become increasingly concrete at the annual meetings. This year, not only representatives from China and the EU will meet for the first time, but also all heads of state and government.

The following article was submitted to Chuang by Vitalist International. It is an account of events in Hong Kong over the summer and early fall of 2019, much of it from a firsthand perspective. We provided minor edits and designed the layout, but otherwise reproduce the piece here in more or less its original form. While the main thrust of the article is in agreement with our own views of events in Hong Kong, the piece is an intake and the opinions expressed here belong to its authors. At the bottom, we’ve included a gallery (provided by the authors) of 70+ posters, memes, graffiti and other graphics used in the movement.

It was only a matter of time before it happened. The protesters and the cops both knew it. On October 1st, a teenager was shot point-blank in the chest by police. The bullet missed his heart by approximately three centimeters.
Thousands of Hong Kongers gathered the next evening at a playground to fold paper cranes and wish the young protester a speedy recovery. They held banners saying “stop shooting our children!” and used the flashlights on their smartphones as torches to light up the night. In the center of the playground, a thousand origami cranes spelled out “Hong Kongers, Add oil!”, a Chinese expression which has come to define the movement, meaning roughly: don’t stop, keep going, add fuel to the fire. Within an hour, the protesters were setting up barricades in the streets and throwing molotovs at the nearest police headquarters.
The movement that began as a protest against a proposed extradition agreement with China has now entered its fourth month of unrest, with no end in sight. The bill — now withdrawn — would have granted the Chinese State unprecedented authority to extradite dissidents, criminals, and refugees to be processed in the shadowy court system of the mainland. Coming on the heels of 2012’s Moral and National Education Law and 2014’s Electoral Reform Bill,[i] this amendment was only the latest attempt at slowly dismantling the region’s tenuous political arrangement of “One Country, Two Systems.” With the movement rapidly evolving into widespread resistance against Chinese control, and the Hong Kong government declaring a State of Emergency, the situation has reached a political stalemate, with violence escalating on both sides. New blog launched as the response to the COP25 summit is underway. This blog serves to encourage people to participate in the protests, questioning and pointing to the real leaders of the destruction of the earth. Those leaders will sit these days to make decisions about the destiny of the world, promising to fulfill agreements that they have all breached since all this time and driving us at their pace towards disaster.
We cannot leave the future, if it exists, in the hands of these miserable deceivers!
Let’s confront them, so “that they can’t say we didn’t do anything”.

December 2nd, the rulers of the world are coming to Madrid. Some of the biggest murderers of this planet, of the biggest responsible of its devastation. They come to fill their mouths and calendars with the next plans of “fight against climate change”. While global capitalism continues intact and most of the CO2 emissions emanate from industrial production, while their companies keep devastating forests and mountains to extract its natural resources.
And if that wasn’t enough, at the same time, Chile burns and their streets are still covered by the ammunition caps from the security forces. But Piñera couldn’t see his political planning disturbed by the revolt, he couldn’t admit the mediatic focus questioning his dictation before such a social explosion. And thanks to the kindness of Spanish government, now he will be able to continue with his plans without getting disheveled.
But in Chile, normality couldn’t be held anymore, and we neither want to hold it here. We won’t allow the world leaders meet to design the destruction under the look of sustainability and respect, as if everything continues to go normally. As if they haven’t been destroying all this time, as if they wouldn’t carry thousands of corpses in their backs. We won’t give them such legitimacy. Also, because we know, that the best way to show solidarity with the rebels is nothing but extend the revolt. Like in Hamburg, we want this summit to become hell.
Therefore, we encourage the system enemies to meet in Madrid, in the dates when the world owners have their appointment in this city. Stay aware to the next calls and infos. There will be enabled spaces to host those coming from other places.
On the other hand, neither do we trust that politics gestated in parliaments and offices will stop the destruction or stop the way to the collapse, that is increasingly inevitable. But we trust in the ability of every one to act, individually or in groups. That’s why we want to make a call for decentralized action to point the responsible of environmental destruction. Politicians won’t act against the Capitalism interests, but we do. Against climate change; direct action.
Attack those who destroy the Earth.

From Enough is Enough
Sixteen years ago today, (July 20, 2001), 23 year old activist Carlo Giuliani was killed by Mario Placanica, a riot cop, during protests against the G8 summit in Genoa, Italy. One day later, on July 21st, 2001 cops raided the Diaz School in Genoa. Last month the European Court of Human Rights ruled unanimously that activists and journalists were tortured by cops during and after the raid. Today we remember Carlo Giuliani and all others who have fallen in the struggle against fascism, capitalism and oppression. Carlo Vive!
Its only a few weeks ago that special police forces pointed their machine guns at neighbours, journalists and protesters during the NoG20 protests. The SEK and COBRA squads had permission to shoot with live ammo in Hamburg. Hundreds of people were injured because of the orgy of police violence in Hamburg, which started days before the first stone was thrown. With police vans driving into crowds at full speed, the deployment of special police forces with machine guns and the way the police attack against the Welcome to Hell demo was carried out, cops putted peoples lives in danger.
The police violence in Hamburg remembered me of the orgy of violence by Italian cops in Genoa, Italy in 2001. (more…)

On the 7th and 8th of July 2017, when the most successful war criminals of the present, the most unscrupulous sweaters of human and nature, the self-titled leaders of this planet, meet in Hamburg, they will not be confronted and thus be revaluated with some demands for better governance or social enslavement.
They will feel the rage of the street, when they are rushing with their convoys through deserted districts and talk about the nightly attacks of the last few weeks.
This call, like so many others at similar meetings, does not want to lose itself in an analysis of the importance of the G-20 summit or the policy of their participants. The injustice of the world has been declared a thousand times, anyone who now feels no urge to act, does not need another text.
We want to speak of those who are already involved in the struggle against capitalism and its exerting states with their conforming societies – so, of US.
Since Seattle in 1999, summit protests were a catalysator of radical resistance; individuals and groups came together, swapped ideas, were standing together behind the barricades and carried the flame of resistance back to their regions. Even the shots of Gothenburg and Genoa, or the numerous infiltrated snitches could not stop the development of a Europe-wide chaotic network of autonomous / anarchist / antiauthoritarian tendencies. On the 7th and 8th of July 2017 the G20 summit is supposed to take place in Hamburg. The heads of the governments of the 19 richest and most powerful states of the world, accompanied by 6.000 delegation members, surrounded and permanently photographed by 3.000 journalists and of course cordoned off and protected by an army of at least 10.000 police and secret service operatives.
All this is supposed to take place in the middle of Hamburg: in the exhibition halls, in the town hall, in the Elbphilharmonie. Large-scale and multilevel barriers, ID controls, evacuated appartments – the main victims will be the people in the Karoviertel and the surrounding neighborhoods. Especially those, that are already more exposed to frequent controls and harrassments because of the color of their skin, their legal status, their precarious social situation or other reasons.
The residents are supposed to give way for an orchestration of power, a living city is turned into a dead scenery. The main performance is the illusion that the political elites of global capitalism have everything well under control, that they are somehow capable of providing security, peace, livelihood and a real future perspective to the people of the world. A Militant Prophet
I’ll carry the cross for those who never made it.
Through fields of carnage of your own making.
For the lost, the homeless, the hungry, black boys slaughtered like pigs by pigs
your warriors coming home with missing limbs
“your worthless” underclass, the classless, your welfare queens
these names, the nameless, anonymous, faceless
salt of the earth who refuse to worship at the altars of gold
Your preemptive wars, the flag
You speak of Jesus Christ “Turn the other cheek”
stand idly by … submit!
Do nothing but preach surrounded by armies
I’ll finish this thread with a single threat
“Bread or Lead”
Lets Play Monopoly
Against the wall! All you autocrat, plutocrat, oligarchs, fascists.
Tonight we’ll bathe with the blood of tyrants!
Revolt at hand for a thousand years of shackles, cages, unlivable wages
Division of labor, exploitation.
Amazing, what you got away with.
Robbing whole nations, poverty, starvation
Wholesale extinction, world domination
All in the name of “The Trust Fund Generation”
The American Dream
Immortality I seek without fame,
Love without pain,
Riches without blame,
to conquer without shame
rule the world with a single aim
till death that never came.
Convince the slave that he is free,
a simple lie repeat, the key,
ground swells with single might,
standing before armies of men
clinching his fists
for here I am!

Black Block of Iran and the Anarchist Network – Solidarity Statement in support of all Kurdish people and their struggle for freedom
Monday, September 8th, 2014
We, as a part of Farsi speaking anarchists, strongly convey our solidarity with you and express our extreme anger towards the injustice happening to your children, women and men for the profit of Capital, the occupiers, war criminals and all those of the rule of tyranny.
We anarchists, believe the rights of Kurds and Palestinians are so integral to each other that they should be recognised as one.
Imperialists in all shapes and forms, hand in hand with the Islamic regime of Iran, are ruining the life of innocent people of this planet on regional levels and on a global scale.
Western rulers on one hand are declaring they are fighting against Islamization, on the other hand, instead of providing Muslim residents with free and universal education, are building more and more mosques that do not free them from ignorance.
Let us expose these dirty tricks of Western rulers from every layer of Western society, including among Western leftists.
Ignorance of these leftists distracts the world from the real catastrophe, truths and all the other terrifying things happening in the Middle East, and has turned the majority of activists into dysfunctional forces in Europe, US, Canada, Australia and other countries.
Worse still, the activism of the left has turned into a work “against” Middle Eastern people, who end up recruiting for a supernumerary army of Hamas, Lebanese Hezbollah and the criminal Islamic regime of Iran, in mass rallies organised by bloody mosques in Europe and elsewhere under the name of supporting the Palestinian cause. From mainstream press:
Eighteen suspects accused of belonging a group of protesters known as the Black Bloc were arrested on Thursday, and at least one is accused of ties with Israel, said the prosecutor general’s office.
The Black Bloc is a previously unknown group that began appearing at demonstrations marking the anniversary of the 25 January revolution last week. (more…)

Social revolution is like the sea. Its waves chase one another, crash against the obstacles they encounter, crushing them or backing down. With all the violence of an indomitable rush, they destroy, blow after blow any trace of power, of exploitation and oppression. A first wave, immense and unexpected, swept away the dictatorship of Murabak. A second one put the army that was about to take over power on its knees. A third one is rising today against the new order that the islamists are trying to impose.
The real revolutionary storm does not obey any party, any boss, any power. On the contrary, these are its irreconcilable enemies. They will be swept away as the storm intensifies. Between the social revolution that will subvert any relation based on exploitation and power and the impostors, the bosses, the masters, the political parties, the capitalist and the authoritarians of any shade, there cannot be anything other than struggle til the bitter end. Because freedom and the end of exploitation, imply the destruction of capitalism and of any power. (more…)

From Even If Your Shakes via anarchistnews.org
A black bloc marches in Cairo tonight [24/1], preparing for confrontations with security forces near Tahrir Square on the even of the second anniversary of the revolution.
Anarchists have been present in Egypt before, during, and after the revolution, but until today, they have yet to organize a mass grouping under the banner of anarchism. The Ultras of Egypt’s football clubs have for years been associated with anarchist ideas and actions, and they are widely credited with having initiated the level of militancy that brought down the Mubarak government in February of 2011.
