“Life is a journey by parachute, and not what you want to believe. We are falling, falling from our zenith to our nadir, and we leave the air stained with blood to poison those who will come to breathe it tomorrow. Within yourself, outside yourself, you will fall from your highest to lowest point because that is your destiny, your miserable destiny. And the higher you fall from, the higher you will bounce, and the longer you will be remembered by the stone. We have jumped from our mother’s bellies or the edge of a star, and we are falling. Oh, my parachute, the sole perfumed rose of the atmosphere, the rose of death, tumbling between the stars of death. Have you heard? That is the sinister noise of closed breasts. Open the door of your soul and come out to breathe outside. You can open the door that the hurricane slammed, with only a whisper.” [Vicente Huidobro, Altazor]
On Tuesday, June 9, according to one of the many calendars of domination. Our contradictory wrists carry watches that indicate that it’s ten till two in the morning. The cold is chilling, but we’re well equipped. Long minutes walking to enter the outskirts of the industrial park Lo Boza, in the municipality of Pudahuel – a territory substantially faded by the uncontrolled advance of the techno-industrial system and the active complicity of the submissive population, which has been enchanted by this regime of hate and death. “Where the waters meet” was once home to fertile, colorful land; for the time being, it is a deposit of human waste, orderly zombies arriving early to work in the morning. The air is torn by hundred airplanes that land with impunity on the high-density concrete of the Arturo Merino Benitez International Airport, the soil is dirtied by industries that spring up faster than mushrooms in the Valdivian forest, the water is “mis-treated” by some of the largest water treatment plants in South America.

Now that the investigative period is over and we await the hearing date for Javier Pinto and Natalia Collado, as a close group of friends we wanted to inform and disclose how our comrades were accused of burning a Transantiago bus three months ago and were taken from us.
In the early morning of April 7, at the corner of Ecuador and Concon, located in the community of Estación Central, the darkness was interrupted with the scene of a burning route 210 Transantiago bus that was completely consumed by fire.
Minutes later Natalia Collado (Tato) and Javier Pino were arrested in Alameda, outside USACH (University of Santiago Chile) and detained on suspicion as their appearance allegedly coincided with descriptions given to the police by the bus driver who reported the fire.
The comrades were taken to Central Police Station 21 where they were told that the bus driver recognized them as two people who boarded the bus without paying at the corner of Alameda and Cumming and left a bag in the back seat before exiting from the rear door of the bus. Tato and Javier were then transferred to the BIPE (Police Brigade of Special Investigations) where they both had DNA samples forcibly taken from them. By now relatives, close friends and comrades who had heard about the arrest began to demonstrate out the front in solidarity with both comrades. Also as usual, the press began to appear in order to caputre the faces of our comrades for the television cameras. The following morning as they were taken to court Javier yelled at the press “Down with anthropocentric patriarchal society!” (more…)

Insurrection News received & translated:
During the night of Monday June 15 we attacked a car company located in the vicinity of the intersection of Vicuña Mackenna and Amerigo Vespucci avenues in La Florida by placing an incendiary device inside one of the cars that was for sale. The resulting fire caused partial damages to the car and the company.
We carried out our action in the middle of the collective patriotic alienation that was generated by the party for the Chilean national soccer team, choosing our target in advance and scheduling it in a way that made it clear that we were not interested in a random attack that could harm people who had nothing to do with our action. We acted within a few meters from a police checkpoint, demonstrating that the police do not have everything under control and that an attack is always possible.
It wasn’t just a new car that we attacked, an attack on something material was not the only goal of our action; the attack was also against the background that houses each of these machines that shares the same meaning and sense of the domination of society. It is the collections of merchandise displayed in glass cases and shelves, the accumulation of capital, unscrupulous human exploitation through wage labor, the devastation of land to plunder resources, the lust for ostentation and the nonsense of production – everything was attacked that night. To our brothers, comrades, relatives, loved ones and people in solidarity with us, to the public.
In 54/53 (Nataly / Juan, Guillermo) days from the beginning of our hunger strike, on Friday, June 5, we end our mobilization, which was a response to the repressive maneuvers power unleashed this time against us, against our emotional and solidarity environment. We decided to stand on our feet and to publicize our situation, without letting the designs of power to realized, which through legal/police/media/ suppressive tricks seeks to perpetuate isolation, silence and absolute submission. We decided to mobilize through a joint decision, a horizontal agreement, far from levels and hierarchies, which the lovers of power and the law seek to replicate in each and every group of people. It is the most dignified way of being in this world of bowed heads and prizes for any kind of boss.

According to a statement posted by the comrades from the website Coordinadora Anticarcelaria La Fuga, Nataly, Juan and Guillermo decided to end their hunger strike 53 days since it began – this would have occurred on Friday June 7th.
Recall that the comrades have already won two of their major demands from the authorities – the removal of Nataly from solitary confinement and the release from prison of their comrade Enrique Guzmán*.
In the coming days the three comrades will release a communique regarding their situation and explaining their reasons for ending the hunger strike.
Solidarity with Nataly, Juan, Guillermo and Enrique!
* During the morning of June 10th, the competent court of San Miguel ruled in favor of prosecutor Orellana, who revoked the total house arrest for Enrique and demanded he be once again sent to pretrial detention.

Tamara Sol Farís Vergara is Transferred to High Security Prison
This Wednesday, May 27th, 2015, Tamara Sol Farías Vergara was transferred to the ill-named “Centre for Feminine Orientation” (COF) located at Vicuña Mackenna and Capitan Prat streets in San Joaquin, Santiago.
The prison guard, Jenny Muñoz Gajardo, a Commandant who is in charge of the incarceration of over 500 women in the [prison] centre of extermination of “San Miguel,” is a loyal representative of police brutality and is paid millions of pesos to employ the logic of prison punishment and the control over people’s lives. This officer let her rage out with Tamara Sol and did not let her say goodbye to her cellmate, taking her out forcefully, without giving Sol the chance to pack her personal belongings (her prison mates gathered up what they could in a bag that Sol has yet to receive). We are told that Tamara Sol resisted with punches, screams and spits while being forced out by the prison guards, and was then handcuffed and taken to solitary confinement around 6pm. (more…)

From Insurrection News:
An Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) – International Revolutionary Front (IRF) cell based in Chile calling itself Grupo Kapibara have released a communique claiming responsibility for an incendiary attack against a substation of the electricity provider Chilectra in Santiago on 06.05.15.
According to the communique a timed incendiary device containing 1.2 liters of gasoline and 400 grams of polystyrene was placed in a room inside the substation. The timing mechanism was set to activate half an hour after placement of the device but for unknown reasons activation did not occur until several hours later.
The communique states that the action was carried out in order to strike a destructive blow against the techno-industrial system in defense of Mother Earth. The communique also contains expressions of solidarity with the anarchist nihilist prisoner Spyros Mandylas held captive in Greece, the comrades Nataly, Juan and Guillermo on hunger strike in Chile and the comrades Sol, Tato and Javier, also imprisoned in Chile. Mention is also made of fallen anarchist Punky Mauri who died in 2009 while attempting to place a bomb at the prison warden’s school in Santiago, Chile.

On 5 May, the court of appeal dismissed the application for revocation of the decision which had sentenced comrade Tamara Sol to seven years, six months and a fine for the shooting of a security guard in a branch of Banco Estado. On hearing the decision unrest broke out in the courtroom and on the street outside the building, which resulted in five arrests.

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – “Better to be a demon of vengeance, than an angel of forgiveness” / “Mejor ser un demonio de la venganza que un ángel del perdón” – Conspiración de las Células de Fuego (Greece)

Inter Arma received and translated:
A signal of complicity from the Greek prisons, for the international call of solidarity made from Publicacion Refractario, Colectivo Lucha Revolucionaria (Revolutionary Struggle Collective) and Sin Banderas Ni Fronteras, to our brothers and sister Nataly Casanova, Juan Flores, Guillermo Durán and Enrique Guzmán, who are imprisoned in Chile, accused for attacks made by the International Conspiracy of Revenge and the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, Chile.
Nothing is uglier than ugliness repeated twice.
Chile: anarchist Enrique Guzmán is arrested and detained.
The reason: the police say that traces of his DNA were found at a distance from a target where a bomb was placed, which is included in the case for which our brothers and sister Juan Flores, Nataly Casanova, Guillermo Durán were arrested, 6 months ago.
The real reason: Guzmán was a friend of the three imprisoned comrades, who did not abandon them for a moment in the difficult conditions of captivity. He was the friend who despised police looks and checks and visited them often in prison. He was the friend who, with his communication, canceled their exile and loneliness, in the land of the locked up people.
He is the friend who proves that real friends do not flinch, but share both the laughter of joys and the steep hills of sorrows…
The battle, however, is uneven. Anyone who does not comply or does not discipline himself within the limits of the permissible morality of the silent people who bow their heads, is driven to the place of exile, in the cold prison cells. (more…)
