CNA: October 2015 edition of Crocerna out now (Italy)

Tuesday, December 1st, 2015

The new printed issue of Crocenera is now available:
croceneranarchica@autistici.org
2 euros per copy plus 1.30 euro postal fees.

EDITORIAL
After several months here we are with another printed issue, as we see our editorial project growing and becoming real: through talks during presentations all around Italy, the publication of information and actions which we keep track of punctually on the blog, contributions from outside the editors’ circle and imprisoned comrades, who are actually editors and not simple people to be supported; this is demonstrated by both the articles of historical analysis and those of analysis and critique on more recent topics and legal choices coming from the AS2 unit of the prison of Ferrara and other places of repression. Furthermore the proposal for a solidarity fund for anarchist prisoners is taking shape, as we explain in the first page of this issue.

Before going any further, we want to take the occasion offered by the Report on the policy of information on security 2014: in other words, the annual report on various ‘subversive’ threats, national as well as international, drafted by the ‘intelligence’ (with all the required commas…) and addressed to Parliament; particularly, their conviction that Crocenera was born to ‘re-unify the area surrounding revolutionary solidarity with comrades in prison, with the idea of creating a sort of openly offensive project.’ (more…)

“Not only against prison, but also against the detention of every living being” – Contribution of Gianluca Iacovacci from the prison of Alessandria (Italy)

“Not only against prison, but also against the detention of every living being”

Contribution to the Croce Nera Anarchica bulletin # 1 – September 2014

I would like to begin with a quick analysis of repression, its functions and its application, and then talk in an effective way about my vision of things. I very often prefer to go to the root of the discussion or in any other situation.

In this case I want with premeditation to completely skip the political-social debate – even if radical – about jail, and focus directly on the rationality of the detention of living beings – of any form they may be -, and focus on the eradication of the logic of the ‘right’ and of its formality.

For what concerns my position about the context and the case for which I am imprisoned, it all has already been said in my second contribution published in the January issue of “La Miccia”, and I guess also on the counter-info websites.

I will restrain myself from expanding this written dialogue so to avoid repetitions. You can already read – if you want – a partial vision and pragmatism of struggle and resistance in my first published writing War to the Machines, so I would like to temporarily restrict the dialogue, in a specific way, to the detention originated by speciesism, civilization and normalization of the struggles, keeping in great consideration the uniqueness of the contexts in the conflict against the existent.

Lately the repressive waves – generally against the anarchists – often happen in the sleeping periods of the strategies of the so-called anti-terrorism apparatuses of the political police. These operative tactics are used, in addition to their repressive aim, to build up media events – that include false accusations – and to spread an impression of a permanent terrorist danger, echoing the evergreen “anni di piombo” [“Years of Lead”: Italian period of political turmoil and armed struggle from the 1970s to early 1980s – trans.], infiltrators, extreme fringes and jumps in quality. REPRESSION IN UK

December 3, 2014 – According to the British mass-media, there is an arrest warrant, with a size of £10,000 to anyone offering information about an anarchist comrade, already free / fugitive for three years following the repression that followed the explosion of urban warfare 2011 in Bristol and a series of attacks, anonymous and signed ELF, FAI.

The media refer to more than one hundred attacks that occurred in the UK in the last three years, that have produced more than £20 million of damage, at various targets including pylons for telecommunications, banks, luxury cars and a center of police training completely destroyed during an attack, including the latest in solidarity with Nikos Romanos, which occurred a few days ago.

The comrade sought, Huw Norfolk, is accused of some of these attacks.

The following pamphlet was written by persons unknown: Since the Bristol Riots

“We are the “lost kids” angry and disappointed by false promises, the “uncontrollable youth” unsatisfied with the paltry futures offered to us, the “useless components” who reject or are excluded anyway from wage-slavery or the “disruptive elements” who fight to destroy it from within, the “minority of trouble-makers” within the constructs of obedient-hierarchical-racist-patriarchal normality, the “hooded rioters” within the constant revolt against all that and more. We are your children, and those of your society. And it is time today for the components of that society to decide if they will be the hand trying to stop us, or the hand lighting their own conspiracy for self-determination.”

just another fugitive.

REPRESSIONE IN UK

“Breaking the isolation” – Contribution by Alfredo Cospito for the first issue of Croce Nera Anarchica magazine (Italy)

Sunday, July 6th, 2014

The following text under the title “Breaking the isolation” is a contribution by anarchist comrade Alfredo Cospito for the first issue (#0) of the Anarchist Black Cross magazine [Italy].

It is with difficulty that our words come out uncensored from the four walls of this prison. At times, however, we manage to break the isolation. We are seizing the opportunity to have a say on the new Black Cross, a project born here inside, during out-of-cell time.

Very often over recent years, there was a surrender to whining, to victimization born of anticipation· anticipation of the next “safeguarding line”, of the slogan shouted, all insufficient substitutes of the destructive action. Ever since the first days of our imprisonment, on the contrary, we have been full of optimism, a feeling which is not only ours, but is also shared with some of our fellow inmates. Optimism concrete, made by different perspectives which together in their diversity, they will succeed in defeating that “realism”, that endless, unbearable, sterile leaning towards the “social”, which has repressed so many arms. The obsessive fear of making a bigger step, so as not to scare away the “crowd”. (more…)
