Letter from Mauro Rossetti Busa in prison (Italy)

Wednesday, January 22nd, 2020

“Open letter from the La Spezia prison

My dear comrades and companions on 10 December 2019 I had the hearing of review in the court of Assisi of Lucca where I filed my reasons on acts committed on February 1, 2018, both against the political seat of “Casa Pound” and the fire at the “ENI” petrol station. On this occasion I also wanted to affirm that violence that took place in Viterbo by group people belonging to the Casa Pound group against a woman to make him understand both the public prosecutor and the court, that these fascists are not as much lambs as they want make believe. I also wanted to specify what were the reasons for the incendiary attack on the fascists. The reason was because in 2016⁄2017 in Piazza S. Michele in Lucca a boy was attacked because he was a militant of the PD and I also wanted to clarify that I have no sympathy for the PD, nor for other parties.

My action was spontaneous / premeditated in that I proclaimed myself a militant of the extreme anti-fascist left. In my trial, besides being present the anti-terrorist cops and the director Dr. Leone Leonardo also came to testify the councilor of the city council, as well as Casa Pound leader, who while taking me away we met in the classroom, where he gave me a look as a challenge and so there was a bit of offense my part, warning him that I am from Lucca and both the cops and the fascists must be careful and above all watch their backs a lot. They don’t have to break or challenge me because I have nothing to lose and I’m able to do even worse. I don’t care if his militant rabbits were inside their meeting that evening. As I claimed in the courtroom, when there is a need for direct action, it must be carried out without many theories. Certainly in some things it is true that it also takes theories, but it is also true that it takes practicality, that is, that certain responses against the beams are immediate. (more…)

Genova, Italy: Raids on the homes of anarchist comrades

Monday, October 14th, 2019

On October 4th, 2019, at dawn, the Genoa ROS (special operations of carabinieri) turned up at the homes of two comrades in Genoa with search warrants. They went back to one of them on October 10th to seize material they had forgotten – a computer, two modems, an USB key, a paper draft of this writing.

The warrant reads: “under investigation for offences concerning articles 110, 423, 270bis, committed in Genoa on July 30th, 2019”. [Articles of the Italian penal code that correspond to: “participation in the same crime”, “fire” and “subversive association with the purpose of terrorism or subversion of the democratic order”].

Through local web news we learn that we are accused of setting fire to an ENI car [energy company], an action that was followed by a claim published in counter-information websites. (more…)

Rome, Italy: Arson Attack Against Diplomatic Corp and ENI Vehicles

Wednesday, July 11th, 2018

When you set out at night with the intention of burning or putting something out of action, interrupting the paralysis inherent in everyday life, you never know exactly what you will find once you are on the street. Which is how it was one night in mid-June when we came across a Diplomatic Corp car and one belonging to ENJOY* parked side by side next to the footpath. If until then, they had been united together in the same shitty existence in service of devastation, power and domination, we could not help but see their willingness to share the same demise together. And so, just like it was with some excavators in France not long ago, we took note of their will by enjoying the sight of the flames that enveloped them.

We hope that despite the high temperatures of recent days that the heat of this fire may bring a smile to all the comrades locked up in prisons, subjected to judicial controls or under surveillance…

To the Argentine comrade Diego Parodi… Strength, hold on!
To those facing investigation for the G20 in Hamburg.
For the prisoners and the accused of Operation Scripta Manent.
For Giova, Ghespe and Paska.

For Anarchy!

*Translation note: ENJOY is a ‘sustainable’ vehicle sharing company run by energy company ENI and public transport operator Trenitalia

Bergamo (Northern Italy). ENI store attacked in solidarity to the anarchists arrested in Bologna.

“During the night of April 13 we have attacked the ENI store in Bergamo by sealing its doors and by daubing its walls with paint and used oil. Solidarity to the arrested in Bologna. Terrorists are those who poison the planet. Terrorist is the State!”

Note: ENI is an Italian multi-national oil and energy company which is a long-known target for the corrupt business and exploitation it embarks upon.
