Hamburg: Attack on Russian Visa Center (Germany)

Tuesday, July 3rd, 2018

Unknown persons destroyed the windows of the Russian visacenter in Kanalstr. 14a, Hamburg, the night of the 22.06. Also “FUCK FIFA!”, “FIGHT REPRESSION!” and”(A)” was spraypainted to the facade.

Since autumn 2017 there happen repressive attacks against anarchists in different Russian cities, in Belarus and on Krim. With torture, intimidation, blackmail and imprisonment they are targeted. At the same time the football worldcup is one of the biggest spectacles of power that is happening in Russia. The rich can enrich themself even more and behind the cameras, all this, as with the Olympic games or summit-meetings, can be used to develop repression and control against maginalised, poor and unwanted social groups and to develop aggressive gentrification.

Freedom and solidarity don’t need Visa!

International call for action and solidarity with the World Cup prisoners (Brazil)

Friday, December 12th, 2014

From CNA-Rio:

On July 12, the day before the World Cup final match, the Police of Rio de Janeiro arrested 19 activists, aiming at disintegrating the big protest scheduled for the final’s day, on the grounds that they would have taken part in “violent” acts in riots last year and they would be planning other actions in the final manifestation of the World Cup. In total 23 search warrants and arrest and temporary detention were met against people accused of participating in social movements, the mandates were 5 days of probation, four people managed to escape the police kidnapping.

The activists were taken to the City of Police in Rio de Janeiro, a large complex of police departments built to take care of the repression of the people challenging the mega-events and the logic of the market town. In this large complex is the DRCI, Bureau of Suppression of Computer crimes, which currently plays the role of the historic Precinct of Political and Social Order, the infamous DOPS created in 1924 to suppress the anarchists, mainly used during the Vargas era and later Military regime in 1964, in order to control and repress political and social movements opposed to the regime in power. The kidnapped activists were all sent to the prison complex of Bangu. (more…)

Thursday, June 26th, 2014

The street sign of „FIFA-Strasse“, which was disassembled at the
manifestation at 14 June in front of the head office of FIFA in Zurich, was passed us on today.

In solidarity with all struggles against and around the World Cup in Brasil we fight against the capitalistic exploitation of football through FIFA and the other exponents of capital.

In Greece the capital punishment is now called Prison Type C.
“We fight and resist for our dignity”, wrote the fighting prisoners, which are in hunger strike since monday, 23.06.2014.
Our solidarity shall also be a weapon in this struggle!

International solidarity is our arme!

Above: Photo of solidarity from Zürich – Against FIFA and solidarity with the struggle of Greek prisoners.

Against high security prisons

Immediately, after the government reshuffle and the flagrantly closing sessions of the Parliament, the political staff of the local and international capital, gives priority to the voting of the bill for creating high security prisons during the summer sessions of the Parliament. The bill will be submitted for debate on the 17th of June.

The proposed legislation proposes the creation of 3 types of prisons with escalating repression. The debts prisoners will be kept in the “milder” wings called wings Type A. The majority of the prisoners will be “stored” in wings Type B under terrible conditions. Simultaneously, wings Type C are being created for prisoners belonging to the category of “special and prominent danger”.

The target of this bill are the anarchists and the communists, who were imprisoned for their political actions, the undisciplined prisoners, namely those who fight against the cruel reality of imprisonment and finally the prisoners accused for organized crime. (more…)
