Every Wednesday, for the past few months, I have been working in Florence, in various clinics scattered throughout the city. When I started, as I didn’t have a website yet, people came to me for information so I hardly saw anyone; one day a man, in his sixties, with a strong Roman accent, contacted me by phone and said he found me on the internet. This seemed strange to me, since I had no facebook, no website, no linkedin, or anything else, but he kept claiming that his wife had a screen on facebook where my name was on it.
During the second session he showed me this printed sheet where my name was actually on it. One of the places where I work, sponsoring his facebook activities, also had my name on it. So, once the mystery was cleared up, the suspicion subsided and the guy started trying to get loved, bringing me cookies, artifacts from his wife and complimenting me on my skills as a therapist; he posed as a human resources officer, then as a skillful interpreter of body language and psychological tricks, and even asked me if I wanted help to sponsor myself on the internet, so I could reach more people, because he said it was a shame that no one knew me; he also advised me not to have attitudes of hostility towards technological innovations, for my own good, and lent me a book of neurolinguistic programming that I accepted so as not to be rude, placing the booklet for two weeks in a drawer and returned it intact to the kindly adviser. The hearings from 15 to 18 July, 2019, are confirmed, but due to the absence of one of the judges the sentence (scheduled for July 22nd) could slip, by a maximum of one week, apparently.
For Giova, Paska and Ghespe under house arrest, was asked the transport by their own means for the hearings, therefore without an escort. For Paska has also been asked to temporarily move house arrest to a house near Florence.
As regards presences in the courtroom, Paska should therefore be present at all hearings. Giova and Ghespe will certainly not come to the hearing on the 15th, but for the following ones they still haven’t decided.
We remember that the hearings will be:
15 July – Deposition of the digos [“political police”] on the last part of the environmental interceptions [surveillance transcripts].
16 July – Public prosecutor indictment and civil parties.
17 and 18 July – Defensive harangues.
22 (?) July – Reading of the device (sentence).
All will start at 9.00 am, in room 28 (basement) at the courthouse in Novoli (Florence).
Note: During the course of the month of June 2019 the three imprisoned anarchists, Paska, Giovanni and Salvatore (Ghespe), were transferred from the prisons of Viterbo and Sollicciano (Florence) to house arrest.
Florence: Bomb against neo-fascist bookshop, a bomb disposal cop wounded and anarchist places raided (Italy)
Sunday, January 8th, 2017
We learn from the national media of the explosion of a bomb in front of a neo-fascist bookshop in Florence and of an unspecified number of raids in homes and places of anarchist comrades. A police bomb disposal expert was wounded during the operation to defuse the device connected to a timer: the explosion led to injury of a hand and an eye [previously the media reported the amputation of the hand and loss of the eye].
In the hours following searches were conducted in the area of anarchist circles in Florence and Tuscany; at the moment there is no more information about the places affected, while reports say they have not found anything. The bomb had been discovered by a patrol of the Digos in the town involved in monitoring the bookshop near to Casapound [neo-fascist hangout], identified as a sensitive objective and already attacked in the past. The prosecutor is investigating for attempted murder.
Further updates coming soon.

We usually don’t give reports on everything we do but after the latest events we think it is important to inform the comrades on the situation in Florence, the problems we have to face and the potentialities we have to develop. To start with, the expulsion orders don’t seem to have intimidated anyone and they will be deliberately ignored. Released late in the morning on Saturday, three dear comrades are now forced to remain in their respective towns as they are subjected to mandatory residence: Sandro and Filomena in Pontassieve, and Nicola in Pistoia. As these places are not far from Florence we will be able to see them every day and surely they won’t be abandoned. (more…)

We receive from the Pistoia anarchist comrades:
Last Thursday [29 March] the bloody Florence cops assaulted and arrested three comrades, Nicola, Filomena and Sandro and accused them of a series of bullshit such as resistance and causing bodily harm. This morning [Saturday 30th March] the judge decided to make a favour to the Florence Digos [Italian political police]: as he obviously couldn’t keep the comrades imprisoned, he opted for house arrest in the comrades’ towns, two in Pontassieve and one in Pistoia. It is clear how this operation aims at eliminating all ‘elements of disturbance’, that is to say those who are active in the city. As power can’t (for the moment) do whatever they like with Anarchists, they try their best to silence them, in this case through house arrest. On the contrary they did do whatever they liked with some immigrants, who were beaten to death in the police headquarters of Florence [the comrades were arrested while distributing leaflets on this event].
Solidarity with the comrades hit by repression, fire to all prisons and death to the authorities!

Anarchist comrades’ houses searched following articles 270bis and 280
Translated from informa-azione.info
We receive and transmit:
Yesterday morning, 29/03/2012, the ROS units [Special Operations Unit of the Italian Carabinieri paramilitary police] of Rome and Perugia searched four houses of comrades looking for evidence concerning the usual charge of conspiracy. And as usual, the watchdogs of the authority were particularly interested in electronic equipment, mobile phones and paper. Wastepaper, searches and warnings: we’ve seen more of the same many times but every time it just makes us sick. (more…)

(Text of a leaflet translated from www.finimondo.org)
You must believe the words of propaganda, the TV and the press reporting the proclamations of ministers, the communications of executive directors, the declarations of officers.
You must obey the orders of authority, be them rumbled by a government or a businessman, by a bishop or a police chief.
You must (try to) work, that is to say to consume the days of your life in efforts to find money in order to go on. You can’t waste time with original thoughts, freedom taken without asking permission or old-fashioned parties.
There is nothing else you can do apart from ‘believing, obeying and working’; the rest is forbidden by the law. The same law that establishes how much you can drink, where you can eat, what you can say, whom you can love, how you can die and – above all – how you can live. (more…)

Here we are writing about yet another police raid carried out by the Italian pigs on a large scale. After the searches of last month, the arrests perpetrated in Bologna and the seizure of the anarchist place Fuoriluogo, on 4th May police searched houses and squats in Florence (more than 70 searches) and put 22 people under investigation. The Italian media repeat the same refrain: your life is under threat, you must be scared. The ideology of security places all of us in a world of ghosts. Punks, foreigners, vandal kids are other actors in this comedy of horror. Journalists recruited by various bosses instil the fear of the diverse and encourage the lynching of the poor. The victims of this murderous ideology follow one another like in a war bulletin: extremely overcrowded jails, murders committed by cops, torture in police stations, detention camps for immigrants, fascist aggressions. No surprise, then, if the journalists of capital yell the need for security and their desire for cameras in every street and soldiers in every piazza. (more…)
