Attack against Deutsche Telekom in Berlin (Germany)

Wednesday, November 23rd, 2016

Eight month before the G20 – Summit in Hamburg, clandestine connections carry out their attacks against the current order in whole Europe every night. Mostly without knowing each other, our fires find similar targets in the hotspots of anarchist subversion, which are placed over the state-owned construct of the European Fortress. Often in a local frame of reference and too rare with the perspective of an international sabotage against the instruments of dominion.

So is the net of people, aggressive and poised to attack, always on the search for opportunities to direct the attacks to a common focus. We should have more courage to arrange to meet us, to travel in order to find places were we get in exchange of ideas and multiply our related experiences. But we want to conduct actions as well in the places where we live, which build relations above the local and specific context, which ignore temporary borders and get incalculable with it. (more…)

Lesvos: Riots in the detention center of Moria (Greece)

Riots in Moria (Lesvos, Greece)

On the 26th of April, on the island of Lesvos, there were riots in the detention center of Moria.

This day the Greek vice-minister of immigration, Muzalas, visited Moria to have a look at the situation inside. The minors in Moria are officially not allowed to be kept imprisoned, so they get to go out for half an hour every day. These 30 minutes out is the big thing of the day, what the minors are waiting for every day. On the 26th, they where not taken out at the usual time, assumable because of the visit of the vice-minister, and hour after hours of waiting they became more furious that they were not let outside. To express their rage they threw water over the vice-minister, who was removed out of the prison wet directly for his safety. A few minors started to rebel further on by setting things on fire, presumably trash bins and other burnable materials. The police reacted by beating up these minors, which enraged more and more minors. Around 4 o’clock they started to rebel at the main gate of Moria, setting trash bins on fire and throwing rocks at the riot police (who is stationed just outside the main gate of Moria 24/7). The riot police went inside but had to pull back after a few minutes, running for their lives together with translators, Frontex officers and people who work in Moria. The riots spread to different sections of the prison, where refugees managed to break down the fence and go outside of Moria to seek confrontation with the riot police. The riot police was clearly outnumbered and unprepared, and the refugees had the chance to seek confrontation with the police for hours.

Teargas was shot without effect since there was no wind at all. The refugees managed to break into the office that has control over the main speakers in Moria, shouting ‘freedom’ over the speakers hear-able all over the camp, and got entrance to the registration center where they destroyed documents and computers. In the night people started to climb on top of the buildings, set up more fires through the camp and attempt to destroy the buildings itself. Also there were several more attempts to destroy fences on the inside. In the end the police went back inside, trying to desperately break up the riots by shooting several flashbang grenades at short distance, presumably aiming straight at refugees. 5 ambulances were driving on and off the site, unknown whether they were taking wounded cops or refugees to the hospital. What happened after that remains unknown, since the police ordered the last witnesses to leave the area and the police then shut down the complete road to Moria on both sides, making it impossible for anyone to get close. In the morning the situation was calm again.

For us these incidents show that humans can not be kept imprisoned without having an emotional reaction of resistance to it. We support refugees in their struggle for justice, acknowledgement of their situation and existence in Europe and abroad by the European Union, and we support them for their FIGHT FOR FREEDOM!

Freedom for all prisoners now!

Updated: No Border Kitchen Lesvos under threat of police raid and eviction (Greece)

Wednesday, March 30th, 2016

UPDATE BELOW

On the island of Lesvos, where the deportation machine is working at full speed, all the camps for refugees are cleared out and registration center ‘Moria’ has showed the true purpose and is now functioning as an deportation centre, NBK is still standing strong and operating at full speed.

On the island of Lesvos, where the deportation machine is working at full speed, all the camps for refugees are cleared out and registration center ‘Moria’ has showed the true purpose and is now functioning as an deportation centre, NBK is still standing strong and operating at full speed.

The current situation is that we now host a couple of hundred refugees, who have been hunted down the island by Frontex and police and have no other place to go. The kitchen is up and running day and night to help anyone in need on food, shelter, medical aid and a (semi)safe place to rest, where refugees work side by side with people in solidarity on an equal level. We host, the refugees participate, and together we keep the camp up and daily life running. (more…)

6 February 2015 : Solidarity without limits – Action day against Fortress Europe!

Sunday, January 31st, 2016

On the 6th of February plenty of right-wing populists, neofascist movements and parties will come together in different places around Europe to take to the streets for their reactionary idea of superior “people” and “nations”. On the one hand we don’t want to accept this and therefore we call you to counter them firmly together taking a stand for political solidarity! On the other hand we want to proclaim this day Europe-wide as a day of action against Fortress Europe!

The conditions in many places all over the world become more unstable with capitalism widening the gap between the poor and the rich. The neo-liberal structural changes of the 70’s and 80’s forced many areas of the global south into deep poverty and debts. After the period of colonialism those changes had once again created dependency from the “western world”. These politics bring exploitation and poverty as well as destruction of the basis of existence. Today neo-colonianism shows itself in it’s diverse forms: land grabbing, seizure of natural resources and raw materials, weaponry exports and free trade agreements, wars under the cover of “interventions to protect the human rights”, support of dictators and authoritarian regimes. One of the consequences is the death of many people not just at the European borders, but also in their home countries. (more…)

19-22 May: Anti-Frontex Days, Warsaw (Poland)

Monday, April 27th, 2015

Antifrontex days 19-22 May, 2015

On May, 21st, 2015 the crème de la crème of European racism will gather in Warsaw, Poland, to celebrate the 10th anniversary of the creation of one of the most influential meta-organisations that guards assets of the Fortress Europe. The organization, not widely known, until recently standing in the shadows, is a hybrid of border police and intelligence service, as well as aggressive promoter of anti-migrant policy. Frontex (from French Frontieres exterieurs), being discussed here, is the executive body of EU (anti)migration policy – enjoys autonomy in decision-making (for EU foreign policy), and has a yearly growing budget, which is not accounted. Budget, used to finance futuristic projects, straight from distopia, like an automatic system of land drones, known as TALOS project, carried out in cooperation that included Warsaw University of Technology, Israeli Aerospace Industries and a lot of other military corporations.

The trust also allows them to conduct their own foreign policy on migration – dealing with the neighboring dictatorships (Belarus, Libya, Tunisia, Algeria), sponsoring and organizing repression against refugees in a secure buffer zone, which blurs responsibility. As a result, the border of Europe moves farther away from the ‘old continent’, helping to hide the effects of this policy in the eyes of Europeans. Sponsored camps in the countries of the global south and ruthless anti-human migration policy of the EU countries result in real victims – tens of thousands of people drown, starve, are left at sea or desert, or are directly shot – every year more than at the Berlin wall in the entire time of its existence. International Organization for Migration (IOM) headquarters attacked in Geneva (Switzerland)

Wednesday, November 26th, 2014

325 receives and transmits:

In the night between the 20th and 21st of November 2014, we smashed the windows and covered the entrance of the International Organization for Migration (IOM) headquarters in Geneva with paint as an act of solidarity with the migrants they survey and try to control.

Posing as a humanitarian organization, the IOM actually supports their fundingmember states in maintaining their borders and economic interests at the cost ofhuman lives and freedom. In addition to states, their corporate donors: Chevron,DOW, and UBS all have their starring roles in ecological and economic catastrophesthat displace people from their homes.

We attack the IOM for closely working with Frontex to build up “Fortress Europe“,their involvement in (Australia’s offshore) detention prisons, providing states with data on migration routes and migrants’ identities, their so-called “voluntary return programs“ that bribe migrants to return to their points of origin, and for all other material and technical support they provide in the international regime of migration control.

This was only a small act of solidarity, but the nights are cold and dark and we rather smash any part of the state’s constructed borders and the glass buildings of their guardians than to sleep through the winter.

We remember the 19 July 2013 riot at the Nauru Detention Center and it reminds us that the only response to that kind of imprisonment is destruction.

No person is il/legal! Close the camps!

p.s. Greetings to our unknown friends that seem to have been out in Geneva at around the same time painting the French Consulate blood-red in memory of Rémi F!

Action in Basel in solidarity with refugees in Berlin (Switzerland)

Saturday, October 11th, 2014

325 receives and transmits:

Early Tuesday morning (7 Oct. 2014), a German federal police car was set on fire at the Badischer Bahnhof (train station) in Basel. The car was completely destroyed. This action was in solidarity with the struggling refugees in Berlin and everywhere!

There, as here in Switzerland, people are degraded to problems for which a solution should be found. The solutions of politicians and authorities, as well as the cops as their henchmen, always mean confinement to detention centers, repression and often deportation to peoples’ countries of origin, or third countries.

The struggle of migrants, which they have determined for themselves against the systematic oppression they face, encourages us and at the same time, shows us the need for us to contribute to the sabotage of this repression machinery.

This action is also our response to the upcoming European police operation ‘Mos Maiorum’ (13th-26th Oct. 2014), which will attempt to have 18,000 police, in cooperation with Frontex, control and arrest as many people without residence permits as possible.

Active solidarity with all struggling migrants in Berlin and everywhere!

Report from Lampedusa, Europe's mediterranean prison island for migrants (Italy)

Thursday, March 31st, 2011

First hand accounts from Lampedusa, Europe’s island of shame, as more and more refugees arrive from Tunisia and elsewhere in North Africa to be held in an open air prison — if they make it at all.

Lampedusa is the very first place where many migrants land after their difficult journey from North Africa. From here they are sent to several detention centers in Italy. Recently many migrants from Africa arriving in Italian waters were shipped to concentration camps in the Libyan desert under the Berlusconi-Gaddafi migration deal (*1). At least for the moment that arrangement seems on hold, while the numbers are further swelled by refugees fleeing the new conflict zones. It seems that up to now about 8000 migrants have arrived from Tunisia to the island. (more…)
