The facts are known more or less: on 17-1-11 began the trial of some of the accused of participation in the Revolutionary Organization Conspiracy of Cells of Fire. From its beginning it became obvious that democracy had decided to impose its terms, using the attendance of comrades as an occasion to strike in two fields: first to split the bond of the accused with those who come in solidarity in an effort to demean and depoliticize the trial and second to enrich the files of DAEEB (Authority of Confrontation of Special Crimes of Violence), with names and photographs for future use. 16 May 2011
“On Monday, May 16th a dozen people created a disruption at the Greek consulate in downtown Montreal located at 1002 Sherbrooke West on the 26th floor. We entered the office chanting slogans of solidarity to anarchists and immigrants facing heavy repression at the hands of the Greek state and organized fascists. Furniture and plants were overturned and hundreds of fliers were scattered. One office employee attempted to detain a comrade but failed. Outside people displayed a banner stating “(A) Flics-Porcs-Assassins, Solidarité contre la reprèssion d’État en Grèce” and handed out fliers.”
Text from the flier:
In Athens, Greece, during a general strike on May 11th against extensive economic restructuring led by the IMF, the repressive forces of the Greek state brutally attacked the strike demo. Dozens were hospitalized and one man was so severely beaten he fell into a deep coma and is on life support.
In addition, a Greek man was killed on May 10th in a largely immigrant district, triggering a police-sponsored fascist pogrom that is still taking place in the immigrant neighborhoods. Immigrants had their car windows smashed out while they were driving, many have been beaten on the street, a Pakistani family had their house fire-bombed, and a 21 year old immigrant was murdered by fascists. The police have been directly sponsoring and protecting this racist terror and have also cooperatively attacked anarchist social spaces which have been showing direct solidarity to the migrants by physically confronting this fascist pogrom in the streets.
In times of economic crisis, immigrant populations are often used as scapegoats as an outlet for people’s frustrations with austerity measures. Such racist and nationalist ideologies have always served to prevent solidarity between immigrants and those “native-born” exploited who persist in the delusion that they have more in common with the masters who exploit them.
In Canada, with a different intensity but following the same logic, immigrants are swept off the streets, jailed, and deported according to the needs of capitalism and social control. The raids, border walls, and detention centers serve to terrorize all immigrants into accepting their current conditions, just as prisons and police terrorize everyone into accepting the current order.
Here, like elsewhere, resistance movements that pose a threat to the continuation of capitalism find themselves necessarily in conflict with the police. As anarchists, we want to destroy police, prisons and the world of exploitation that creates them, which steals away the capacity to create our lives on our own terms.
Cops, Pigs, Murderers
Solidarity with anarchists & immigrants in Greece.
Let’s destroy the repressive machine wielded against all of us.

Open letter of Christos Tsakalos, Member of the Revolutionary Organisation Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (R.O. C.C.F.) from the prisons of Koridallos, regarding his attitude and the persecutory procedures
On the 27th of April, Christos Tsakalos, for the case of C.C.F. with the upgraded charge of the managerial executive, was transported to the prisons of Koridallos, after a call for appearance at the judicial council, where he denies to appear.
Today therefore, Wednesday the 27th of April, I announce officially to the judicial authorities, to not “bother me again” with their repeated calls for my presence in the interrogative process, because they will receive my total refusal and my factual contempt. (more…)

A small contribution of the imprisoned members of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire about Solidarity.
Until the day comes we will remain with the head held high….
1. Solidarity is our weapon.
Many things have been written and said about solidarity. Usually when there have been so many discussions and so many texts have circulated on a matter, it ends up trite, predictable and without any particular interest. It seems as if its content has run out and it’s constantly being repeated.
We believe there are no trite practices, but trite ways of thinking. Particularly today, in the suspicious days we are living in, with the dozens of imprisoned urban guerrillas and anarchists, we should sharpen the blade of solidarity and remove it from its repeated stereotypes that confine us within the nefarious cycle of “freedom to whichever comrade”. 27 April 2011
“It doesn’t matter that you never reach the skies.
The most important things is that you never should stop dreaming about it.”
At night, 27.04, we carried out a small symbolic action of solidarity using paint bombs. We attacked the bank which is placed about 100 meters from a police station. Through this action we want to express our Solidarity and respect to each anarchist political prisoner, especially in Greece and Chile. Those who hold heavy consequences of their own political choices with pride and honour and do not bend under prison repression. Those who probably suffer painful tension between their family life and the rebel way which they decided to follow.
We also took this action to celebrate May Day, instead of powerless manifestations of own weakness by marching in small groups of activists on Polish streets that day.
We refuse the realities of life in this country, where gloomy patriotic-Catholic tradition teaches people to see enemies in other neighboring nations instead of in the capitalist elite, which rules everyday life. We don’t care about the catastrophe in Smolensk and hysteria of masses who despair that they lost their lords.
Unemployment or work, which makes you more unhappy? – or even worse: you feel happy when you can pay rent, bills and food. Work-emigration of thousands of young people who are forced to look for a way to survive, lack of money in the public sector and at the same moment the government transfers money to the Polish Army which occupies the Arab world (Iraq, Afghanistan) – this is really a fucking catastrophe and misery of this system – the colorful, empty bubble. The existential emptiness, lack of generational identity and lack of life purpose are suppressed by alcohol, drugs, television celebrities and thoughtless fun.
We oppose Pope Wojtyla (so-called “John Paul II”) beatification which will take place on May 1st. This is an attempt to steal this important date. Wojtyla, this guy, with golden rings, helped to destroy the revolutionary movement of liberation theology and he was doing this alongside with Latin American regimes. He was also silent on church pedophilia, blocked the reforms within Catholic church and was a political friend of working class enemies like Reagan and Thatcher.
We wish more courage to the comrades who have a policeman inside theirs heads, which does not allow them to take radical actions, even when that doesn’t mean serious risk.
We send greetings to our comrades from Silesia in Poland, who as a first in this country made a small Solidarity action with Cells of Fire prisoners.
SOLIDARITY WITH CONSPIRACY CELLS OF FIRE, REVOLUTIONARY STRUGGLE AND THE URBAN GUERRILLAS !
SOLIDARITY WITH TENANTS PROTESTS IN POLAND !

Letter from the Imprisoned Members Cell of the C.C.F. about the 13 arrested outside the house of Baltas, Athens (Greece)
Monday, April 11th, 2011
On the 4 April 2011 a group of people stopped outside of the house of special appeals interrogator Konstantinos Baltas (who handles the case of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire), that is in the northern suburbs of Athens, they shouted chants and threw flyers. 13 people were arrested after the end of the intervention…
“The days of this society are numbered, its rights and charms are separated in two parts of which one wishes its destruction”
On Tuesday 5th of April behind the walls of the prisons arrived the news that some comrades carried out a dynamic intervention outside the house of special appeals interrogator K.Baltas in the Maroussi area, who has taken the role of the inquisitor in the cases of urban guerrilla. The comrades with this act reversed the terms of the “game”. If the mafia of special interrogators and public prosecutors believe that from the safety of their guarded offices they can imprison freedom and the undisciplined boldness of those who attack the democracy of directors and bother their relative and friendly environment, without having reprisals, they are fooling themselves. The “visit” of the comrades proves that the inquisitors of the laws, apart from names, also have houses and addresses. (more…)

325 received this recent translation of an action that occurred in Athens, on 9.3.2009, against Citibank’s headquarters by the armed group Revolutionary Struggle [Epanastatikos Agonas – EA]. For the purpose of illuminating further and providing a platform of solidarity for their ideas and the actions of this inspiring revolutionary organisation, 325 presents this following communique. Revolutionary Struggle carried out many actions which were accompanied by anti-capitalist and social-libertarian critiques, often very pertinent to the times and topical. Amongst the actions they carried out was a missile attack against the American embassy in Athens, 12.1.2007. Revolutionary Struggle have written many important texts critiquing and explaining in simple language the role of the capitalist economy and the effect of the austerity measures, such as “The Only Answer to Modern Totalitarianism is Social Revolution”, which was published in 325 #8, accompanied by the text “A Political Letter to Society”. In this open letter, Kostas Gournas, Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis, anarchist comrades arrested in Athens 10.4.2010, take full responsibility for their involvement in Revolutionary Struggle along with their comrade Lambros Foundas, who was killed by Greek murderers in uniform during a gun battle whilst in the preparatory stages of an action. 3 other comrades, Vaggelis Stathopoulos, Christoforos Kortesis and Sarantos Nikitopoulos, who always denied their involvement in Revolutionary Struggle, and were jailed during the same 10.4.2010 ‘counter-terror’ wave, were set free 8.4.2011, on conditional liberty.
Freedom for Revolutionary Struggle – Honour to Lambros Foundas – Down with the State and Capital.
We take full responsibility for the explosion at the Citibank branch on Lavriou Str. in Nea Ionia (Athens-Greece) on March 9th . Our action followed the attempt of February 18th, when we tried to blow up the Citibank headquarters on Achaias Str. in Kato Kifisia (Athens-Greece) using a car trapped with explosives. The specific operation was part of our organization’s strategic intervention as far as economic crisis and its originators are concerned, among which the international bank capital hold a predominant place. The use of a car trapped with 125 kg of petroleum ammonite was not just aiming at a small range token strike but it was intended to destroy the infrastructure of the particular multi-national company and thus make clear that its presence in the Greek territory is endangered. After all, one of the main objectives of a true revolutionary movement as well as an armed organization is to turn a country into a hostile ground for the criminal mechanisms of supranational capital conveyors, such as Citibank. Announcement of the 3 imprisoned members of Revolutionary Struggle concerning the use of Lambros Foundas' name in the arson of the Law School in Athens (Greece)
Wednesday, April 6th, 2011
Lambros Foundas gave his life fighting on the lines of the Revolutionary Struggle, an urban guerilla organization that operated alongside the exploited and oppressed.
He gave his life promoting a political project that aimed at the popular and proletarian counterattack on the conditions of modern totalitarianism, in which we live.
Our opinion as well as Lambros Foundas as members of the Revolutionary Struggle is that armed struggle is an essential tool of social-class struggle to overthrow capitalism and social revolution rather than a means to an existential affirmation of the individualistic insurrectionary experience of some. Attacks by the Informal Anarchist Federation (FAI) across three countries in Europe. The targets are directed at military, nuclear-industrial and prison targets within the frame of international revolutionary solidarity. The European authorities are trying to withhold details of the claims accompanying the explosive devices for purpose of denying the ‘value of propaganda’.
30 March 2011 – Olten, Switzerland: A package bomb exploded in the offices of Swissnuclear (the Federation of the Swiss nuclear industry) giving two office workers superficial burns. The attack is claimed by the FAI who outline a vision of their ideas and vindicate the action in solidarity with Silvia, Costas and Luca who are imprisoned accused of planning to attack a center of IBM nanotechnology in Rüschlikon, Zürich.
31 March 2011 – Livorno, Italy: A package bomb has been delivered to the Ruspoli barracks, a center of the Parachutist Brigade Commando which serves in Afghanistan. A soldier remains hurt and crippled. Lieutenant colonel, chief of general staff of the Brigade, highest in degree at the moment in the barracks. The explosion has amputated three fingers of the hand and injuries to the face and the legs. The target was carried away in a state of shock to the first aid. The soldiers at the moment do not supply details. Police investigation is underway. A claim of responsibility accompanied the explosion by the Informal Anarchist Federation.
31 March 2011 – Korydallos, Greece: The Director of Korydallos Prison receives a package bomb but it is detected and defused by technicians of the Greek police. From the Greek corporate press it is learned that inside of the destined package bomb to the director there was a claim of responsibility in the name of the Informal Anarchist Federation. The text has not been published, but Greek journalists report that a draft of two pages in Italian in which is mentioned solidarity to the captive companions of the revolutionary organization Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, and beyond to other prisoners locked up in the prisons of Switzerland, Germany and Chile.

On March 14th 2011, 5 comrades of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, O. Ekonomidou, G. Polidoras, G. Nikolopoulos, D. Bolano and Ch. Tsakalos were arrested, here is their letter:
They thought it was over…
But now everything begins again…
We write now locked in our cells, dozens of kilometres away from one another, hostages where we were exiled by the vengefulness of the juridical authorities scattered in the prisons of Greece, Corfu, Komotini, Grevena, Domokos, Thebes…
We write and we are certain that our voice, no matter how they try to bury it in the drowning cells of democracy, has the strength to still shout. To shout for freedom, for inversion, for revolution. Shout for another way of life where we will all be “kings” without slaves. For a world without authority, police and prisons. (more…)

“In the chaos of our own existence we are a part of the imponderable element which organizes subversion, plans mutinies, that leave even ourselves dazed. The translation of texts, letters, communiqués, etc. so that comrades in other countries around the world can read about the desires and ideas and projectuality of the comrades in Greece, is one more weapon at our disposal. What began as a simple desire and a challenge, has brought us into a new field of experiences, acquaintances and responsibilities. Now that we’re here, they will not get rid of us easily.
We have become another aspect of the asymmetric threat. The war to the end, has already begun. …”
From the introduction by Actforfreedomnow – Bourbouras.
A huge storm of revolt raged through the streets of Greece in December 2008. After the 15 year-old Alexis Grigoropoulos was murdered in coldblood by a cop, riots spread throughout the whole country for several weeks. Hundreds of corporate and government targets were attacked, plundered and set on fire. Although it was anarchists and anti-authoritarians who took the lead in this storm during the first week after the murder, it spread itself fast and many people got involved in this revolt against miserable living conditions, against the authorities and against the hopelessness offered by this world to the exploited and oppressed. But the revolt didn’t cease at the end of 2008, neither did it start on the day of the murder. The attacks against the structures of State and Capital went on and spread to several smaller towns in Greece.
About 180 fire attacks and, since a couple of months, artisan [‘homemade’] bombing attacks were carried out under the name of ‘Conspiracy of Cells of Fire’. The attacks targeted banks, car dealers, shopping centres, governmental institutions, police stations, offices of political parties, houses of politicians, judges, criminologists, journalists, private security firms and companies building prisons,… and always accompanied by elegantly critical and nihilistic claims of anarchist responsibility.
The claims did not only criticize Capital, State and Authority (in all of their aspects), but also the resignation of the exploited, their herd mentality, their collaboration with the system. The Conspiracy of Cells of Fire (CCF) refuse to regard oppression and exploitation as simply being imposed by batons and blackmail, but understand it as a social relation in which all have their responsibility –and make or don’t make the choice to fight against it.
In September 2009 extensive anti-terror raids attempted to strike the CCF, these raids became one more political tool to attack the wider anarchist & anti-authoritarian movement, a situation which intensified when two members of the CCF were captured during an operation in November 2010, Athens. Against the ongoing legalistic kidnapping of our comrades and for the escalation of struggle for total liberation, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Illegal Sector called for an informal global project based on anarchist subversion, direct action and international solidarity. These papers document some of the many communiques, letters and legal & court updates concerning the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the accused comrades of the same case, plus solidarity actions resulting from the call for a formation of an Informal Anarchist Federation / International Revolutionary Front.
Whilst this publication can of course only offer a partial view upon the situation and topics, it is produced in the spirit of rebellion which fuels the total war against domination. It is an unfinished document that seeks collaboration through acts of refusal. The international call which has been circulated for the subversive formation of an International Revolutionary Front / Informal Anarchist Federation (Global), which is based on the principles of international solidarity, permanent subversion and constant conflict should be discussed, debated and acted upon without delay.

On the morning of Monday, March 14 2011, an operation coordinated between the Special Violent Crime Response Division (DAEEB) and the Special Antiterrorist Unit (EKAM) raided and searched two homes—one in Nea Ionia on the outskirts of Volos, and one in the northern Athens neighborhood of Cholargos. “Last night the windows of Nat West Bank on Mansfield Road were smashed out, and anti-capitalist graffiti was left on the side of the building. We did this because we refuse to submit to the will of capitalism. Every single day that goes our love and rage grow. Love for our friends and comrades around the world. Rage at the forces which try to cripple their spirit and oppress all efforts to find freedom in their lives. Nat West bank is owned by the Royal Bank of Scotland who violently support the destruction of the earth and the prison system, they are merely one aspect of the system entrapping everything it comes into contact with. And this action was just one small gesture against all its claims.
Until capitalism, white supremacy, and patriarchy are destroyed we will find ways in which to fight back. We remember those who have fought before us and we search for those who will fight with us.
Love and Solidarity to Simos Seisidis and all those who are caged by this society and its culture.
Yesterday we sharpened our teeth, as we prepare to fight back.”

“Our brothers fight…
They do not quit, they are not subjugated.
Our brothers by day conspire, and in the nights they move like shadows.
They sow destruction, they make passages, this is how they live.
They are not crawling ass-licking for the bread of the boss…
Our brothers seek comrades, to become one.
They do not spend their time on ephemeral relations, they look us deep in the eyes…
Our brothers stand up to the enemy since it does not frighten them. They are not afraid…
Fear is for bourgeois and snitches.
Our brothers stand proudly also in prison…
They do not regret, they do not comply with judges and people guards.
Our brothers do not beg for life.
They search for Freedom and go to the end.
Tears do not suit our brothers, continuity of Struggle and attack suits them.
As a minimal token of honor we attacked the “Emporiki” bank on Skoufa street, in Kolonaki square, the early hours of Sunday 6th March.
We look up high, there where with other rare and beautiful makes plans. Grins to those that continue, to those that do not forget, to those that look at death and shout: Death does not exist!
HONOUR FOR EVER
Solidarity to the hostage Guerrillas of the Revolutionary Organisation Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, the Revolutionary Organisation Revolutionary Struggle and the Revolutionary Organisation 17th November.
Solidarity to the hostages of war that do not bow the head behind the bars of democracy.
We raise our fists those that continue the hostilities…

Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Imprisoned Members Cell release Letter of Solidarity with Hungerstrikers of the 14/14 "bombs case" (Greece, Chile)
Monday, March 14th, 2011
From the excellent This Is Our Job.
We have entered a period in which attacks on Domination and its conquered subjects are spreading with undiminished intensity to the four corners of the Earth. Our individualities, despite living and evolving in many different circumstances, share the same positive emotions: disgust and hatred toward this world. We collectivize our negations and arm them with the insatiable desire for action and the burning passion for total liberation. Different borders and languages are obstacles we will demolish to find ourselves side by side, rising up against this system’s orders and decrees, derisively spitting on each law-abiding way of life it offers.
We reject this world—this vast authoritarian construct—and we do not hesitate to point the barrel of our critique at the willingly enslaved majority of the social body, whose defeatist attitude contributes to the preservation of the existing regime. We refuse to degrade, in any way whatsoever, our revolutionary perspective and ethic in the name of wider “social acceptance.” We are proud to be part of the anarchist/antiauthoritarian movement, and we are in favor of all processes and projects that spread the idea and practice of revolution. To us, revolution doesn’t boil down to a specific period of time in the distant future. Rather, it is a response, here and now, to the totalitarianism we see in every expression of Domination. It is our own response to the existential void imposed by contemporary consumer civilization. It is an expression of the rage awakened in us by the agonizing urban environment that restricts our movements and desires, the same expression of rage that can’t be suffocated by the elaborate dead-ends presented to us as “reasonable choices.” It is also all the moments of attack we’ve shared with comrades, as well as the moments to come. It is the enchantment and the magic of connecting praxis to theory, causing little cracks to form in the shop window of determinism. It is all our points of view, and the means of achieving it is the new urban guerrilla war. Self-Organization, Solidarity, Attack, Respect, Trust, and Friendship are its cornerstones, forming the foundation of diffuse urban guerrilla war.
Dozens of our brothers, the well-known but also the unknown, are in prisons here as well as far away. Some of them remain captive on the basis of a few pitiful charges, others because they were unfortunately stopped while carrying out an attack. However, the legal duality of “innocence and guilt” is irrelevant to solidarity, which is a relationship between comrades that considers the dignity and political conscience of each revolutionary. In August 2010, a number of Chilean comrades were arrested during a repressive operation. Eight of them, plus two more arrested in September, were placed in preventive detention, while the rest were granted a provisional release. These comrades are being charged with dozens of revolutionary bombings despite a complete lack of evidence against them. The organizations that carried out said bombings have even stated via communiqué that they have no relationship with the arrestees, whose criminal prosecution by the Chilean state nevertheless continues. The comrades in preventive detention are locked up in high-security wings for 22 hours a day, in cells that measure six square meters. The extension of their captivity fills us with rage. They recently began a hunger strike, demanding their immediate release and the scheduling of their trial date, as well as the abolition of the antiterrorist law inherited by the current Chilean democracy from the Pinochet regime.
We send our warmest greetings to Andrea Urzúa, Camilo Pérez, Carlos Riveros, Felipe Guerra, Francisco Solar, Mónica Caballero, Pablo Morales, and Rodolfo Retamales, and from the bottom of our hearts wish them victory in the difficult struggle they are engaged in. From thousands of miles away, we send them our revolutionary signals, encouragement, courage, and strength. We call on all comrades, including ourselves, to carry out attacks and aggressive expressions of support for their hunger strike in the context of International Solidarity, thereby giving the powerful a taste of the flames that burn in our hearts. From Chile to Greece, the Netherlands to Mexico, Italy to Argentina, England to Switzerland, Germany to Russia, and the U.S. to Turkey, we will use every method to intensify the revolutionary anarchist war. Finally, many special thanks to comrades Andrea Urzúa and Mónica Caballeros for publicly expressing their solidarity with our case.
“You aspire to the free heights, your soul thirsts for the stars. But your wicked instincts, too, thirst for freedom. Your wild dogs want freedom; they bark with joy in their cellar when your spirit plans to open all prisons.”
REVOLUTION FIRST AND ALWAYS.
LONG LIVE THE NEW URBAN GUERRILLA WAR.
Conspiracy of Cells of Fire : Imprisoned Members Cell: Gerasimos Tsakalos, Panayiotis Argyrou, Haris Hatzimichelakis, Michalis Nikolopoulos
Note: The above statement doesn’t mention comrades Vinicio Aguilera and Omar Hermosilla, likely because news hadn’t yet reached Greece that Aguilera and Hermosilla were back in prison and had immediately joined the hunger strike. Another error is the mention of Pablo Morales as one of the hunger strikers, when in actuality he is the only one who has not joined.
