Peace is unmemory and oblivion – To memory of Mauricio Morales Duarte
“The cult of the dead is nothing more than contempt for true pain. […] The latter must also disappear, faced with the fatality of death the people must react firmly. We must fight against suffering instead of displaying it, of promenading it in grotesque processions and false commemorations […] Pyramids, graves, tombs must be thrown down; we must drive the plow through the walls of cemiteries to rid humanity of what we call respect for the dead, which is the worship of corpses“.
This is the third text I write in his memory, through these nine years of absence; however, the pain doesn`t go away. It couldn`t vanish in spite of time gone by, as I couldn`t dissipate the pain for the physical disappearance of my dear Urubu, of my esteemed Rafa (Daniel Barret), of my brother Canek and so many others who left but who live in our black memory. It is not that I want to show pain or recreate it in celebrations of mourning: we anarchists don`t worship corpses. I am simply unable to overcome it. And I couldn`t – nor want to – overcome this feeling because I`ve always transformed it into anger. I don`t intend to do the tiniest effort to forget them because memory, comrades, is our most potent weapon. (more…)

From the website La Rebellion de las Palabras, critique of the excremental choir calling themselves “Eco-Extremist Mafia” – aiming at the eco-fascist and nihilist-right groupscule Individualists Tending toward the Wild (ITS), written by anarchist-insurrectionalist groups, CCF-Mexico, anonymous others in the territory of the Mexican State:
“The Tiger, in its unconquered gait, accumulates the memory and the traces of the road travelled, to stubbornly reaffirm it; unrestricted freedom that does not assure food but which a priori omits any possibility of degenerating into a herd or of assenting to grazing. Indomitable and irreducible, it confronts the most tenacious enemies. To do this it wields its instincts, taking advantage of its portentous night vision, its prodigious smell and its finely tuned ear. In its right attack: it disfigures, tears, kills and dies, to be reborn indomitable and fierce. Nothing escapes this becoming and it is exposed to the most daring hunters and the most tenacious tamers, veterinarians and circuses, taverns and altars, customs and laws, systems of thought and political institutions. Everything is shaken, torn or eliminated in this movement of which only the imagination can disern a principle but of which nothing and no one is able to decipher its objectives and its end. (…) Anarchism, conceived not as an inescapable realization but as a permanent tension embodied in an open configuration of thought and action, is also a tiger, indomitable and fierce, affected from end to end by this capricious walk into freedom.” – Gustavo Rodríguez
“Everything that we can identify as negative elements within our “space “, is also the responsibility of each of us to contribute to eliminate them. Bureaucracy, hegemony, informal hierarchies, intrigues, false friendships and false ‘comrades’ stabbing our backs have existed since the dawn of the so-called anarchist movement, because they are an intrinsic part of the human factor and our contradictions that constantly arise and are in conflict with each other. All these pathologies are due to attitudes that do not properly belong to a particular anarchist tendency but are present in all, and as long as they are not treated for what they really are, we will find them in front of us again and again.” – Conspiracy of Cells of Fire / Metropolitan Violence Cell
To the comrades in the Mexican region and the world, to the incendiaries and refractories of the planet, to the internationalists committed to a new coordination of anarchic informality:
Exactly 5 years and seven months ago we signed a “joint statement” at the request of a comrade for whom we feel great affection and respect. That text was entitled “2nd Joint Statement of the Anarchist Insurrectional and Eco-Anarchist Groups”. It was an unquestionably necessary writing given the context in which it was written and so we clarified it from the first lines: (more…)

Words. Mere Words. The pages that follow are in part transcriptions of the spoken word—‘the wonder worker that is no more’, as Emma Goldman wrote wistfully over one hundred years ago when referring to the inadequacy of the spoken word to awaken thought and shake people out of their lethargy. Here in the twenty-first century anarchists no longer talk about spoken propaganda to awaken the masses, bemoaning the absence of orators such as Johann Most or Luigi Galleani. In rare encounters organized by comrades today ‘the masses’ are noticeably absent, they don’t even enter the equation. Organized meetings or ‘talks’ as they are dully referred to are well-attended if there are 50–100 comrades. But there is no need for panic. Now all but the most disconnected fossilized anarchists have moved beyond aims of a quantitative growth in a hypothetical anarchist movement—where discourses addressed ‘to the masses’ have degenerated into an insulting populism—to the elaboration of ideas and methods addressed towards immediate action and attack on power in all its forms. Numbers have ceased to be important for anarchists as a prerequisite for attack. The illusion of ‘Le Grand Soir’ was a wonderful dream, it kept the flame flickering and thousands of militants waiting in the wings.
No, lack of numbers is no cause for alarm. They are there, the exploited, all around us—are also ‘us’—and could take us by surprise again at any moment (as could we ourselves). In the realm of the quantitative our task is to experiment and spread an insurrectional method for the self-organization of the necessary destruction of power and subjugation. Small groups with intermediate destructive aims based on affinity that can multiply, spread horizontally and coordinate, without limit. The apparent rift between anarchist theory and practice thus disappears along with the false conflict between individual and mass, and not least the conviction that the tenets of anarchism must be espoused by the exploited before they can fight for their own freedom along with that of others. An informal practice of attack leads to freedom revealing itself qualitatively, in leaps and bounds, far from the straight line of quantity, education, progress and waiting. (more…)

Informal Days: International Anarchist Symposium – Comrade Gustavo Rodríguez disappeared and deported (Mexico)
Wednesday, January 1st, 2014
Compañerxs, we´ll try to be as brief but objective as possible.
Since the evening of the 29th of December – the last day of the Informal Days: International Anarchist Symposium – up until today, the anarchist compañero Gustavo Rodríguez Romero has disappeared.
On the evening of the 29th, at approximately 7:30pm, Gustavo left the Che Guevara Auditorium alone headed in the direction of the Copilco metro station in order to later meet up with his partner and begin their return trip home. This never happened as Gustavo never arrived.
Five minutes after Gustavo left the auditorium, a compañera who was still at the event received a phone call from Gustavo, however only strange noise were heard, and after a few seconds the call dropped out. Given the strange call, the compañera called back on repeated occasions but without answer, and eventually assumed that later he would be in contact as had been arranged earlier. (more…)

A new version of the Spanish-language insurrectionary anarchist zine from Mexico is out now.
Includes a chronology of actions and communiques from anarchist groups in Mexico and internationally, an exchange between C.A. & Gustavo Rodriguez (an insurrectionary anarchist comrade living in Mexico, originally from Cuba), and analysis of the on-going struggle against domination. The insurrectionary tendency in Mexico continues to develop a strong anti-civilization/anti-technology praxis through action and discourse.
“¡Por la Anarquia!” C.A.
