Approaches to the situation in Bolivia from the anarchic insurrectional perspective’i
Much has been written these days about the “resignation” of Evo Morales, former chief of the Bolivian state. As was to be expected, there has been no lack of furious positions on the subject – on the right and on the left of Capital – backing or attacking (as the case may be) the deposed president. Particularly prodigal have been the chronicles and approaches to this event from the vision of “nuestralatinoamericana” and from mostly an “anti-imperialism” orthodoxy. It so happens that for years we have been dependent on the interpretations and analyses of others -even though they can no longer be considered moderately acceptable from the contemporary anarchic viewpoint- and, driven by the need for reflection, other narratives have begun to express themselves with our unmistakable “brand name”.
It is precisely within this framework of reflections that the following pages are based, written with their own baggage of experiences and with a redoubled emphasis on the constant challenges of the nascent acrimonious paradigm that extends day-by-day across the planet in an internationalist key, objecting to all the sweetened mediated and reformist projects that divert it anarchism from its insurrectionary action. For this reason, the approach to the situation in Bolivia from the anarchic insurrectional perspective is an essential task in our time.
In the geopolitical context of a tripolar world (US/China/Russia), where paradoxically, there are no longer “opposing” ideological programs confronting each other, but rather three mutations of the most pedestrianized hyper-capitalist expansionism, we should have no doubt that today there is no “side” to defend in power nor a “bloc” to which to submit. Although, to be consistent, it should be recognized that for the anarchists of praxis, there has never been a “side” to defend in power, much less a “bloc” to bend to. On the contrary, from the first moments of the bipolar farce, during the so-called “cold war” of the last century, the emphasis was always on “the two imperialisms”, revealing the gross fallacy of the “dictatorship of the proletariat” and the imposition – by blood and fire – of State capitalism in the name of “really existing” socialism.
Bath: Burning cars and a 4×4 in flames – A cell of the FAI/ELF strikes back after police are cleared of the murder of Mark Duggan (UK)
Friday, January 10th, 2014
Action report censored by the pacifist-judiciary of Indymedia UK:
8th of January – incendiary device on delay left at Kia car showroom, Lower Bristol Road, Bath. Damage to the building facade. A brand new 4-x-4 and three cars also consumed by the flames. A direct attack on exploitative manufacturing industries who profit from choking our world, who also make status symbols for our class enemies. This section of the Earth Liberation Front and Informal Anarchist Federation has them in our sights.
With the cops cleared of the execution of Mark Duggan that started the riots of 2011, as good a time as ever to re-ignite the streets.
Unfortunately for the enemy, the 32 year old man arrested for the action has no relation to our group.
Active solidarity with:
– the stirrings of new struggle against road building programs in the UK (traces of which we saw in Combe Haven), specifically with the ones who won’t take the path of liberals and pacifists next time.
– Swiss anarchist Marco Camenish (who is on hunger strike and refusing work since the 30th of December) and also informal anarchist prisoners Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai in Italy.
– Henry Zegarrundo (who we recognise as a kindred spirit through his letters) targeted by the Bolivian prosecutors, those on the run, and the anarchist and indigenous peoples still fighting the highway development.
Bristol – Toluca – Jakarta – Moscow – Buenos Aires – Melbourne – keep the fires burning

Jakarta: Anger Unit / ICR-FAI-IRF burn down the third floor of former Sheraton Hotel, 'The Media Hotel and Tower' (Indonesia)
Wednesday, June 26th, 2013
“Brothers in chains, comrades in suffering, the battle is at hand. Soon we will launch our attack, intoxicated with vengeance; the enemy will flee, because the Federation of Sorrow is terrible.” —Bruno Filippi
Tonight (June 26) we moved out and brought the fire and burned down the third floor of former Sheraton Hotel, ‘The Media Hotel and Tower’, in Sahari Mountain Street, Jakarta. Our fire is to respond to the call from our brothers in Greece in the Phoenix project and as a gesture of solidarity to K. Sakkas, anarchist in hunger strike action to reach his freedom. We put the incendiary with timer in one of the trash cans in the karaoke room (which is located on the third floor) and let the fire speak for us.
Bring far our revolutionary greetings to the members of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire; Imprisoned Members Cell, to the 4 anarchists who were arrested in Kozani –we never forget you, for Cospito and Gai, to Carla, Ivan, Juan, Marcelo and Freddy, and to Henry and always to the anarchists prisoners in Greece and Italy, and to other cells of FAI – IRF around the world.
We will never say that we are just a few, but we will let the fire speak on our behalf.
Let’s make the Phoenix project as an international project for revenge!

Over the past few nights in Paris, the screens of two ATMs were cracked, we were thinking of the anarchist comrade Henry Zegarrundo, imprisoned by the Bolivian State for a year now (he was arrested on May 29, 2012, held in prison and recently released to house arrest).
All the States, the prisons, all the banks are of this world that we hate, let’s attack them!

Santiago: Communique for the incendiary attack against the National Association of Prison Guards ($hile)
Tuesday, May 28th, 2013
Who believed that May would pass without direct action?
With fire we responded again.
Recalling the warrior Mauricio Morales and showing solidarity with the comrades imprisoned in Temuco, we set fire to the entrance of the National Association of Prison Guards, located at Santa Monica steps in downtown Cumming Street of the city of Santiago, on Sunday May 12. With this we add a new action to those which have already been claimed by other groups in “alternative medias” but silenced by the “official release”.
We said in our previous attack on a property of Gendarmerie of Chile in January this year, we will not let the torturers be tranquil in their dens. The criticism of the authoritarian system and prison facilities cannot be separated from the direct attack on those who try to break the will of our rebel imprisoned comrades. Prison guards have decided voluntarily to live as enemies of freedom and are active contributors to domination, in exchange for shares of power that materialize in confinement and to humiliate our prisoners and their families.
In April, the anti-authoritarian comrade Ariadna Torres was punished in the Women’s Prison of Temuco for insulting a judge and the jailers who seized a letter from the companion to the outside.
We sent a copy of this email again to the jailers of Chile so that they know that our anarchist comrades, anti-authoritarians and revolutionary prisoners in Chile are not for the authorities little games, and for every attack the answer will come back with fire, explosions and shrapnel.
We ask comrades of action why there has been a decline in violent activity against the enemy? One thing is the excitement of the street-fighting, but in May there has been fewer direct attacks and planned bombings, arson and sabotage against the wealthy, and also their system of misery. That the anti-authoritarian attacks are sustained over time and not by a police story, depends on us. That the option for revolutionary violence and its connection with the anti-authoritarian struggle (and its various forms of being implemented) be not just a youth fashion, depends on us. Boosting and multiplying the direct actions in quantity and quality depends only on our will.
In May, we remember those comrades murdered by the State in Chicago in 1886; to Daniel Menco, young man killed in 1999; to young Rodrigo Cisternas, worker killed by police in Chile in 2007 after being crushed by a police vehicle with a backhoe; to the compa Henry prisoner since May of last year in Bolivia [currently on house arrest]; and Nicola Gai and Alfredo Cospito, prisoners in Italy, imprisoned for a year accused of the shot to the leg of a boss of a scientific nuclear company.
Regards to the clandestine comrades and prisoners worldwide.
MAURICIO MORALES LIVES IN DIRECT ACTION.

After nearly a year in prison since the arrests, with over a dozen audiences suspended, Henry has finally been granted house arrest pending trial!
“With dignity as an ally, friend, and companion, and without bending before power, despite an environment overloaded with police collaboration, our comrade has honorably gotten out to be able to be with his own while awaiting resolution of the case.”
“All our support for Henry, our pride to have him as a comrade, our strength so that those who manage to exit from the cages of power be ever more numerous.”
“Towards total freedom! demolish the prisons!”
Translated from Solidaridad Negra
The day of international solidarity for May 29 is still on: the accusations have not been withdrawn, one anarchist is still locked up as part of the case, people are still on the run, and the highway is still being built. Solidarity is a weapon!

325 receives and transmits:
Last night [10/1/13], we did it once again. Direct action based on our revolutionary values, as nihilists, as individualists and as an expression of the hatred of this society. Covered by the night, we burned a private car in Tomohon (small city in North Sulawesi), owned by an unknown person. It was a car located near the local TV station in that town. A car as a symbol of slavery, eco-disaster and the meaninglessness of life.
We believe, through direct action each revolutionary can speak, even separated by continents and nation-state borders. We believe that revolutionary actions speak loud and reach our sisters and brothers in the Informal Anarchist Federation – International Revolutionary Front.
We dedicate our action to our brother in arms, Panagiotis Argirou, –revolutionary and proud member of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire— who fell down and has to face surgery. When we heard this news, it hurt our heart. We burned a car to send our warmest revolutionary greetings to you, comrade. To let our enemies know that no revolutionary will be left alone. Strength brother! Fire of health for you.
To other members of Conspiracy of Cells of Fire and revolutionary anarchist, T. Mavropoulos: all of you are never alone. Our actions are also your revenge.
Not to forget to mention our brothers in Italy who are kidnapped by the state and are seized behind bars. To Alfredo Cospito and Nicola Gai. Our hearts always with both of you.
We also want to send our revolutionary greetings to Villa Amalias and all the free spaces that are invaded by our enemies. To all squatters who are kidnapped by pigs of the state. Your bravery inspires us to keep our heads up. ‘Fire’ is how we spell solidarity.
And to all anarchist prisoners: to Ivan and Carla, Freddy, Marcelo and Juan, in Chile, to Henry in Bolivia, to John Bowden, to Gabriel Pombo da Silva, to Marco Camenisch, and others around the world. This fire is a metaphor of hugs from us full of respect, solidarity and anger against Power.

Solidaridad Negra (http://solidaridadnegra.wordpress.com)
(more…)

La Paz: Communiqué by Henry Zegarrundo, who is being held in pretrial detention in San Pedro prison (Bolivia)
Monday, July 16th, 2012
From ABC Mexico via Contra-Info:
Terror seeks to impose itself through prosecution, repression and incarceration for those of us who break through its ideology of fear, an ideology reinforced by the ‘communication’ media, an ideology reinforced by those who slavishly accept it whether they disagree or not.
Power seeks the SOCIAL DEATH through incarceration, seeks to diminish an individual through the MORAL ANNIHILATION. But up until now I have not experienced any of these two ‘phenomena’ designed by the State; the only thing they have managed to do is make me feel freer than ever before despite being locked up behind these thick walls.
