Released now for September 2010, the free yearly PDF of the international anarchist magazine, 325. 76 pages packed full of revolutionary anti-capitalist social war.
Amongst other things, this issue features a major section about the Greek social war “Fire on the Breeze : Letters and Communiques from Greece”, this is written by the anarchists involved in the movement, not outsiders, but by the fighters and hostages of power themselves. The communiques from the prisoners of armed group Revolutionary Struggle, including the important text “The only answer to modern totalitarianism is social revolution”; a tribute to Lambros Foundas; Sect of Revolutionaries communique; Conspiracy of Cells of Fire communique about the ‘Marfin Bank’ incident; and more.
Another large part in the zine is the section “Notes from the gathering against Prison Society”, an anti-prison, anti-state 2-day meeting which took place Oct/Nov 2009 in Brighton. The notes from this meeting begin with a presentation on the ‘Campaign against Prison Slavery’ and a description of the British prison system. A comrade from Athens explains the case of Giannis Dimitrakis, an anarchist imprisoned for expropriation, the comrade also talks about methods of ‘revolutionary solidarity’, which have formed a dynamic and powerful feature of the Greek anarchist movement.
Also featured is an interview with Jean Weir, known for her ‘Elephant Editions’ book imprint, translator and publisher of Italian anarchist, Alfredo Maria Bonanno. The interview forms a section which concludes with “Taking Back Our Lives”, the edited transcribed notes from a presentation in Berlin, Sept 2009.
Also included are the sections and articles: “International resistance news”, “Repression and reports”, “For mass struggle and subversion”, “Revolutionary solidarity, “Who are we talking to?”, “What are anarchists?”, “Declarations”, “Find yourself a revolver” and more.

Dark Nights is an irregularly published anarchist & anti-prison freesheet of resistance reports and repression news.
Issue #8 has a feature on the 14 August anti-anarchist repression in Chile, with a letter from an imprisoned anarchist, communique from insurrectionalist groups about the state attacks against social centres and anarchist initiatives, and call for international solidarity.
On the 24th of September there is an international day of solidarity with the Chilean comrades, and we dedicate this issue to the situation. The repression is aimed at silencing the growing discontent and stopping the anarchist direct action against corporate, religious and state targets which has grown in recent years. Because the Chilean government has no way of stopping the attacks, it attempts to persecute and dismantle the broader anarchist movement with investigations, raids and beatings at gun point.
The international anarchist and radical social movements must answer this frame-up with our solidarity and resistance.
Dark Nights #8
– Call for international solidarity with the hostages of the Chilean ‘democracy’.
– List of hostages and those under conditional ‘freedom’.
– Communique from Mónica Caballero
– Communique from insurrectionalist groups in South America concerning the frame up.

30 August 2010
“On the evening of 30.08.2010 a group of anarchists have attacked by Molotov cocktails Russian embassy in Minsk. One of the diplomat cars was burnt. By this action we express our fury and protest to the arrests and repressions against defenders of Khimki forest in Moscow.
While our friends are beaten up by fascist mercenaries, riot police are pressing and arresting innocent people – treats and arrests became everyday routine. Our friends now have to suffer in jails or live in fear to be imprisoned just because they fight for freedom, people and environment.
But bureaucrats and capitalists care just for their bribes and profits, they don’t care what happens tomorrow, they are ready to abolish every protest or disagreement with cruelty. What comes next – the death squads?
We declare solidarity with our comrades and support only method of direct action, because government are afraid of power only and nothing else.
It is really funny to read some comments on Internet forums. Both clans, called “Government of Republic of Belarus” and “Government of Russian Federation” disgust us. Poor workers of both countries never take any benefit from this fighting for power. It is foolishly to imitate politicians. People, come to your senses! Is it really impossible to explain any act of protest by theories of conspiracy? We meet stealing and humiliation every day – but around there are only fear in the eyes and whisper in the kitchens. It is time to summon our forces and believe that we are worthy of a better life.
Free all imprisoned comrades! Stop political repressions! Down with officials, gangsters and policemen!
Human rights and social justice!”
