‘Censorship & Blocking Access to Courts by Federal Bureau of Prisons’ By Keith ‘Malik’ Washington
Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee (IWOC)

Revolutionary greetings fellow workers! Today is June 2nd, 2020. The US Department of Justice has ordered the Federal Bureau of Prisons to place their facilities on a nationwide lockdown.
The Inmate Bulletin issued to the prison population said that the nationwide lockdown was a precautionary measure in light of the recent rioting and civil unrest throughout AmeriKa.
My experience as a federal prisoner has taught me that the oppressors who run these prisons subscribe to and embrace a Reactionary Ideology. This Reactionary behavior has been on full display here at USP Pollock.
One reactionary policy which has gone unreported is the recent censorship of prisoner communications as well as the blocking of our access to courts.
Since March 13th, 2020, prisoners here at USP Pollock in Pollock, Louisiana have had no access to Law Library Materials which includes the Education Legal Law Library Computer.
It is virtually impossible for prisoners to litigate pending civil or criminal actions without access to the Law Library Computer. What is remarkable is that mostly all federal facilities within the BOP allow prisoners access to the Law Library database on our housing unit. (more…)

June 11, 2020 statement from Keith “Malik” Washington (USA)

Tuesday, May 26th, 2020

Revolutionary Greetings Comrades! It is hard to craft a message of Solidarity during this time without acknowledging the suffering and loss of life of so many beautiful humyn beings.

By the time June 11th arrives we will reach over One Hundred Thousand Deaths related to the Corona Virus here in Amerika.

Much of my recent journalism and activism has been centered around Covid-19.

Specifically, I’ve been calling for the release of our Elders. I started this year off with a message of Solidarity. I collaborated with my Soul Mate and Future Wife Nube Brown. We’d Love to see the state of California grant Parole to New Afrikan Freedom Fighter and Principled leader–Sitawa Nantambu Jamaa.

As far as Anarchist prisoners are concerned, I must call your attention to the struggle of our Comrade Xinachtli in the State of Texas. Xinachtli whose Sir name is Alvaro Luna Hernandez will be eligible for Parole very soon.

Inorder to facilitate Xinachtli’s release we must ensure that he has enough Financial Support so that we can retain a Parole Attorney that will zealously advocate for Xinachtli’s Release.

Xinachtli has been subjected to Decades of Racism, Bigotry, and Oppression at the hands of Prison and State Officials in Texas. Xinachtli is a Principled Thinker and Anarchist comrade who has Earned my Respect and Support. This June 11th lets focus on BEING NUMEROUS in order to Free Xinachtli. (more…)

We are Humyn Beings!!!

by Keith ‘Malik’ Washington

Revolutionary Greetings Fellow Workers and comrades all over the World!!

“Nothing Lasts.

Relationships end.

Friends die.

Even Capitalism will be history someday.

It’s what we do to re-awaken each other that matters.

Breathing life into self organization, the working actuality of freedom.

That’s the victory, the revolution,

The Truth of Power: That we know how to create lives worth living.

Knowing that such moments, too, won’t last.

—–CINDY MILSTEIN an excerpt from:

CODA: WAKING TO REVOLUTION

More and more people are becoming aware and supporting our Solidarity Actions which seek to support the Prisoner Humyn Rights Struggle. The Momentum is building and what happened on May 7th is only a preview for things to come.

May 7th was the First Action that will usher in our 2020 Prisoner Humyn Rights Movement and Actions—Black August is approaching fast. (more…)

U$A: Is Prison Authorities’ Real Plan ‘Let the prisoners die?’ by Keith Malik Washington

Tuesday, April 21st, 2020

Like many of you in the free world, I have been monitoring closely the daily COVID-19 briefings broadcast from the White House. I have also been observing and analyzing the propaganda disseminated by the mainstream media in regard to the deadly pandemic.

What has been missing from the presidential daily briefings and news media platforms such as CNN and Fox News is any mention of the effect COVID-19 has had on Amerika’s world leading prison population.

There has been a glaring lack of transparency and accountability in regard to what is actually happening inside both federal prisons and immigration detention centers as well as state prisons all across the United Snakes of Amerika. With your mutual aid and solidarity, I will attempt to fill that void in reporting.

I am an older Black man who is currently incarcerated at a high security federal prison in Louisiana, USP Pollock. A few miles down the road from USP Pollock is a low security federal prison known as FCI Oakdale.

The most recent data and information coming out of FCI Oakdale reports over 60 confirmed cases of COVID-19 and at least 10 deaths. I request that all of you reading this report help confirm these numbers. Bureau of Prisons (BOP) employees have been instructed to keep quiet in respect to the current situation at FCI Oakdale. Urgent COVID-19 Update Follow Up! Federal USP Pollock, Louisiana and Surrounding Areas (U$A)

Tuesday, March 31st, 2020

by Keith ‘Malik’ Washington | Incarcerated Workers Organizing Committee

Today is Sunday, March 29th, 2020. This is a follow-up report to an Urgent Update that I released last Sunday, March 22nd, 2020. This specific report details recent events in regard to the Covid-19 Pandemic within Facilities Operated by the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

Please be advised that there has been a Deliberate Attempt by the Main-Stream Media and The White House to ignore the Deadly impact Covid-19 has been having on Amerika’s World Leading Prison Population.

On the morning of March 29th, 2020 I interviewed a Registered Nurse who works for the Federal Bureau of Prisons. The Nurse requested that I not use their name. I will respect this employees request to remain Anonymous.

It was reported to me that there have been 8 Positive Cases of Covid-19 at Federal Correctional Institution Oakdale which is located in Oakdale, Louisiana. FCI Oakdale is the “Sister Facility” to USP Pollock. Of the 8 Cases at FCI Oakdale, 6 are prisoners and 2 are B.O.P. employees. There has been One Death at FCI Oakdale connected to the Covid-19 Virus! There are 6 Prisoners currently on ventilators at the facility. (more…)

Comrade Malik Speaks! This Also Means That I Am an AntiFascist! Expect Us!

Revolutionary Greetings Comrades!

By now the word has gotten out that I’ve left the New Afrikan Black Panther Party-prison chapter and embraced Anarchism. This is a tough time but as J. Cole raps in his song “Middle Child,” he says: “Everything Grows, its destined to change!” I have changed!

I am still holding on to my belief in Eco-Socialism. Plain and simple, climate change is real and not a hoax. Think many of ya’ll who have felt these unusually hot temps recently can attest that something is most certainly going on and I can guarantee you that these imperialist multi-national corporations that deal in fossil fuels have no interest in saving our beautiful planet or ensuring that the humyn species is able to survive– they just don’t care so we have to make them care! But that is not why I am communicating with you today! (more…)

‘We Will Never Abandon Rojava’ by Keith Malik Washington (USA)

Tuesday, March 26th, 2019

From AMW:

“Revolutionary change will not come as a singular event, nor an immediate exchange of power, but an ongoing struggle to free us all from the bonds of oppression and distribute power to communities of resistance. The illusion that a small group can seize state power and enact the will of the majority has dried up in the gulags, prisons, and killing fields of nation-states around the world. The Cantons of Rojava, a network of councils without the State, has introduced a new revolutionary paradigm… As we formulate our next steps, we harken to Rojava as a model. Just as it is grounded in the Kurdish liberation movement in Rojava, we here must ground ourselves in the black liberation movement against slavery.”

Burn Down the American Plantation (What We’re Working Towards), pg 68-69, Revolutionary Abolitionist Movement

Revolutionary Greetings Comrades!

Did you really think for one moment that I was going to remain silent?

I began working with RAM because of Rojava. The Kurdish struggle struck home. Do you realize that these Sisters and Brothers in Northern Iraq and Syria helped fight and defeat ISIS? Yeah! That is right! These beautiful people, who Donald Trump wants to abandon, sacrificed their lives for the good of all. I was careful when I decided to speak out. Right around the time Trump made his announcement that the U.S. would pull out of Syria – George W. Bush had died. It wasn’t really good for me to say what I needed to say but now I am going to say it!! (more…)
