Nikos Romanos: Liberating Journeys of Attack (Greece)

Saturday, November 15th, 2014

via contrainfo:

The following text is intended to be the continuation of a dialogue on the tools of anarchist insurgency and the ways of organizing ourselves; a dialogue that was initiated at an international anarchist encounter somewhere in the countryside of France and now continues from a prison cell in Greece.

The opinions expressed here are my own personal views, so it should be clear that they promote a particular position on the issue. However it is not desired to have one position prevail over all the others; what matters is how the various different, yet complementary, points of view communicate and interact with each other. In the face of an enemy that’s very flexible as regards the use and multitude of means and forms of attack, the diversity of considerations and practices on the part of anarchists is self-evident. Whichever different perspectives cannot be promoted dogmatically but rather based on a rationale of multifaceted attack.

First we need to talk about the very concept of organization, a word quite misunderstood in anarchist circles.

We face an enemy with complex and complicated functions. One of the main characteristics that make the enemy powerful is the constant evolution and organization of the social paranoia we are experiencing today: a technological, military, architectural, civil, industrial, economic, scientific organization. Korydallos Prison: Banner-drop by anarchist prisoners of the 4th wing in solidarity with hungerstrikers in the hospital section (Greece)

Wednesday, March 5th, 2014

Greek prisons:
“An act dedicated to our neighbours who are living in hell; from inside Koridallos”
Since February 17th, 2014, nearly 180 patient inmates at Aghios Pavlos ‘hospital’ in Koridallos prison are on strike, refusing meals and medications, to protest the horrific conditions.

Anarchists in the fourth wing of Koridallos men’s prison hung a banner out from the windows of ‘their’ cells, which are located directly opposite the prison hospital. The banner reads: “Strength, you guys! Break the sickening status quo you are experiencing (A)”. Hospital patients saw the banner and liked it a lot.

Strength to the prisoners’ struggle in Koridallos prison hospital!

Greece: Update on comrade Mihalis Nikolopoulos (Athens)

Saturday, February 22nd, 2014

via interarma:

Today, the imprisoned member of CCF, Mihalis Nikolopoulos, stood trial for beating, in the misdemeanor court of Evelpidon.

He was sentenced to three years of imprisonment, after he insulted the judges, telling them to shove the “mitigating circumstances” up their asses. Additionally, he was prosecuted for insulting the judges. He was transferred to the police precinct in Kypseli, where he refused to let them take his pictures and to give them his fingerprints, which resulted in him being prosecuted for disobedience. His trial was postponed and a new hearing for these new prosecution will be set in the future.
