Whenever the oppressed masses attempted the inversion of an injustice social, economical, political system, the resource to the arms and revolutionary violence has been the cornerstone of each revolutionary undertaking. It is a fact that no revolutionary process can’t reject violence as a form of struggling against the oppressors. Anarchists throughout the ages never divided the forms of struggling. For that reason Anarchism as a revolutionary movement has an unbroken and fundamental relationship with armed struggle because armed struggle springs from the roots of the lower social status and proletariat, acts for its interests, emerges as a pattern of construction with a revolutionary prospect. A revolutionary movement which respects itself, cannot exist without having a parallel path and an organic connection with the armed struggle. So we stand in solidarity with the comrades, men and women, who choose to fight also with armed struggle as urban guerillas having the analysis and strategy with main aim the creation of a society of economical equality and political freedom. We respect and support their choice especially when our comrades are still fighting for the cause of Social Revolution even in the most difficult circumstances. Two of those comrades are Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis , members of the Revolutionary Organization “Revolutionary Struggle”.
The comrades are imprisoned with life sentence and 27 years for Pola and 83 years (after breaking the life sentence in the 4th trial against “Revolutionary Struggle”) but they unremorsefully continue their fight in the court rooms and prisons of the Greek regime. The Revolutionary Organization “Revolutionary Struggle” was constituted in 2003 when the social and political environment in Greece was characterized by the absence of social and class resistances toward the neoliberal reforms. With the diffuse consent of the biggest part of the society, the system seemed steadfast. At this first period of action (2003 – 2007), “Revolutionary Struggle” had two main peaks of action against the imported neoliberal reforms on the political and social sphere and the “War on Terror” that had been declared by the USA and the rest of the political and economical elite of the West. Through the analyses, the strategy and the symbolically definitive high-impact blows, “Revolutionary Struggle” was directed to reveal the double nature of globalisation – political and martial- and disputed the state’s omnipotence. Received on 30.04.2020:
Translation of a text claiming responsibility for incendiary attacks against people serving the political, journalist, repressive, judicial machinery. The attacks took place in the first days of March in Athens, Greece, by the “Anarchist Groups of Nocturnal Visits”. There are also a few photos from some of the attacks below. This is the source-link from the original publication on Athens Indymedia (including the Greek text and the photos)…
We live in the era of hyper-information and perpetual production and flow of news. The dominant power is defined by the control over the info-flow and the big-data. The control of human force is now possible via the constant analysis of the data daily collected by everyone’s digital tracks, and intends to a voluntary enslavement under the dominant order. These imposition terms are totally different and more whitewashed in comparison with the previous years. The strategy of counter-insurgency and preventive repression against the damned ones has been framed by dystopic new technologies, specialized knowledge and even more fluid and complex methods of investigation and evidence collection. The constant mapping of our anarchist environments from the police forces -i.e. the prosecutions and the arrests for postering and interventions, or the GPS trackers and the micro-cameras planted to comrades’ homes and vehicles- intends to the perpetual enrichment of their data-base, utilised by the State’s machinery.
Once more we see a systematic imposition of far-right and racist narratives by the media. This way, they justify the image of militarized public spaces and the droves of cops dispersing through every street and square. The national body is spreading its roots in the arid soils of its downfallen inheritage, supporting again the rising of neo-nazis and fascists who were hiding under the umbrella of patriotism and “frustration”. We also notice an increasing intensity on their actions, along with operational development of the means they use, and apparently the equivalent State’s support and analgaesia. The armed citizens’ guardings in Evros, under the tolerance and the covering of the police forces, are a gloomy depiction of the future. All those who had signed an informal or formal truce with the previous government due to their supposed social-democratic mediocrity, lost the “deal” after July. All those who supported the politics of SYRIZA due to ideological affinity, are now dully shouting, trying to persuade us that it was the lesser evil.
Greek State, in the present historical conjuncture, is coping with the interior enemy applying the intensive strategy, imposing states of exemption and “law and order” doctrines, erecting monuments of victory against our imprisoned and prosecuted comrades, striving for the establishment of capitalist normality and the interception of every insurrectional move. It’s our responsibility to develop a militant infrastructure and to carefully plan our next steps to the formation of a prepared anarchist movement, able to stand as a barricade against the totalitarian capitalist attack. At the last months, the actions of individual and collective insurgency become more frequent, painting the nocturnal metropolitan canvas with fiery shines of arsons, deafening melodies of explosions and beams of successful conspiracies.
Domiciliary incendiary attacks as one of the fine arts
The complex of the dominant capitalist relationship is not only composed by faceless nets of capitalist violence and relentless reproduction of the social relationships being imposed by them. It’s not only composed by our mental mutilation, by our fragmentation, by the repeated behaving of the capitalist ritual inside the metropolitan factory which destroys our memory, our creative imagination, our identity. It’s not only composed by the capital’s expansion on every second of our daily life, even further than the working condition; a process of denervation that destroys every non-capitalist cell of our individuality. The capitalist formation is also composed by human beings who become an integral part of it by serving a social, economical, political role. They are one among the many expressions of capitalist brutality; they are its body and it voice, its eyes and its ears, its guns which target us, and its stormy propaganda.
The strategy of personalized targeting serves plenty of political and tactical purposes. It transfers the fear and the terror -grown and practiced against the oppressed ones- to the dominants’ homes, to the places in which they feel safe and invulnerable. It proves that we are able to afflict them, when being organized and having the will; that, when we choose the time and the place, when we choose the guerrilla methodology as a tool of struggle and conflict, we can be the front of counter-attack against the state’s and capitalism’s strategy of counter-insurgency. It’s in our hands to remind the zealous guardians of the capitalist world that they can face determined resistance if we realize the social war’s full dimensions. If we reify the material consequences that will be paid by all those who serve the modern gloom.
If we take the decision to become really dangerous and to organize ourselves. Let’s bring the warfare to their garden, outside their doors. Because, even if the people serving important positions on the authoritarian pyramid are expendable, it’s still of a high political importance to give them back the fear and the psychosomatic pain which they’ve exercised over the oppressed bodies. Let’s become the constant threat dangling over their heads; the threat that makes them need 24/7 armed security outside their homes or during their transportations, cameras on every corner, and finally a whole machinery of research, prevention, data collection, repression and justification of their disgrace. Let this threat hunt them. The active supporters of the dystopic neo-liberal normality are targeted. Therefore, it would be appropriate for them to count their choices and their words, claiming the importance we intend to impute to them counting their addresses.
Unfolding our roots and origins on the public sphere
That’s where we come from: From the apartments of the miserable cement and the metropolitan isolation. From the failed crises of conscience attempted by the media via brain-washing and reality inversion; from the mass culture of consumerism and advertising which construct pseudo-necessities, so as to fulfill the bosses’ pockets; from the body punishment of the beatings at the police stations and the protests, when we decide to stand against power; from the “non-violent” ideology, which is nothing more than a humiliating bow and a call for the dominant subjects to continue their murderous work; from the depression, which is massively spread by capitalism via asphyxiating pressure, virtual stupor, ruination of every healthy social relationship – intending to give us the “solution” and heal us via psycho-pharmaceutical drugs, leaving us limp, unconscious, wandering victims of the post-modern decay.
Facing the violent present of our times, we regret remaining indifferent servants and pathetic observers. We want to counter-attack; against the functions of management and reproduction of the capitalist reality, against the “bellum omnium contra omnes”, against the individualization and the constant antagonism. We want to make barricades of resistance against a state which rises nationalism and racism; which divides the people into locals and foreign ones; which decides for their life or their death at the ground or sea borders, under the sound of war drum beat and the screamings of the expanding social fascistization.
Anarchy -as the embodiment of the constant war for freedom- is a permanent reminder to those serving the authoritarian institutions that it can be perceived as a revenge on a small scale for everyone who feels that capitalism is social death in disguise, an open wound from which the blood of the world’s damned ones spills all over. A revenge on a small scale for all of us that feel we’ve lost thousands of beautiful days enclosed in the labour camps, producing profit for the bosses; that we’ve lost thousands of beautiful days incarcerated in the concentration camps, in their open or closed detention centres and prisons; that we daily destroy our bodies so as to cope with the ridiculous employer’s demands; that we become expendable so as not to disrupt the capitalist profit-seeking. That’s why these actions are also a signal of solidarity to those who will find a part of themselves reading this text; a promise that the struggle goes on; an open challenge, because we need comrades with whom to create militant bonds and collective prospects. Let’s fulfill the vision of freedom and resistance, so as to become the worst nightmare of those who want us with our head bowed.
Our relationships and our beliefs are planted like a seed deeply inside the soil. They flourish like cracks of vegetation out of the mousy and cold cement. They flourish everywhere and always. This time, they flourished from the flames and the whomps of the incendiary/explosive devices that we placed at the doors and the property of some wingmen of the capitalist abjection that we experience and fight inside our territory.
We claim responsibility for the incendiary attacks on the houses of:
Manolis Asariotis, a police reporter of ANT1 (Greek corporate media). His role as a person that totally supports the state and expresses the government’s propaganda on his public speeches, in fact being their physical extension; his total co-ordination with the (un)known circles of the counter-terrorist unit which publicize fake news so as to target comrades; his opportunism and his hatred against anarchists that lead him to build a “reality show” around the personal lives of anarchist combatants, to reproduce the police narratives, to construct guiltiness for many people, to prepare the ground for their repression; his role to cover up all the crimes of Greek Police against combatants, migrants, excluded ones; these are some of the reasons why we visited him. Next time he reproduces fake news and targets people, let him be aware that his house is known in our circles.
Thanos Tzimeros, a fascist politician. His role as a graphic, though potentially dangerous politician; his public statements that profane our fallen ones, such as Alexis Grigoropoulos and Pavlos Fyssas, his racist and xenophobic gutter against migrants, the shameful reproduction of the theory of the two extremes (horseshoe theory), and the equation of nazism with communism; these are some of the dozens of reasons why we visited him. To solve the question of our poor Thanos: maybe he hasn’t served any political position – even if he has elected 3 members on the county council of Attica. Though, he is still a visible voice of the far-right wing, of the neo-liberal pole, of the conservative narratives. His stupidity surprised us once more, as we learned that he makes a fundraising to collect money and fix his house’s burnt-down entrance. Let him be sure that now, as we know his house, maybe we will unsuspectedly give him our fund.
Ioanna Mandrou, a journalist of SKAI (Greek corporate media), and her judicial husband. Nothing was mentioned in the corporate media about the incendiary attack on the authoritarian couple’s house. Her role as a priest of the judicial reportage, based on the “objectivity” and the “valid information” coming straight out of her husband, who serves an important position on the judicial hierarchy; her constant slandering against political prisoners (i.e. the case of the negative decision about the furloughs of Dimitris Koufontinas) and prosecuted combatants; her offensive comments against Magda Fyssas (that during the court she was provocative against the murderer of her son, Pavlos Fyssas); her responsibility for the perpetual covering of every political and economical scandal (see Novartis), as she always creates atmosphere for the social justification of the pre-decided acquittals; the fact that she is politically organized on New Democracy party, and she can be noticed at every encounter, outing or meeting of ND politicians (see the video of her dancing at en event of the Minister of Maritime Affairs, Giannis Plakiotakis, along with all the far-right gutter); the fact that she is a fanatic supporter of fascism, of the memoranda, of the social inequality, of state repression; all these were enough for us to target her. Let both her and her husband keep in their minds that we still have unfinished business with them. The choice of Mandrou to pressure our comrades through slandering, lies and obsessions, opening the doors for the judicial scum -like her husband and his “high class” fellows, who hung our comrades on the loop of incarceration- will not remain unanswered.
Manolis Themelis, a veteran cop who is now a local politician next to the mayor (ex PASOK member) of Nea Filadelfia region, Giannis Vouros. This was an attack also not mentioned at the media. He is a fascist militant, with an active role on reproducing the governmental strategy on his neighbourhood. He has worked as a cop at the Police Station of Omonoia -known for its cops’ plenty of brutalities and murders (among others), having a prominent position on torturing, attacking, bullying and humiliating migrants over the past years. He has served the Greek Police in several ways, always reproducing the dominant cannibalistic and exploitative morality. He is one among the many “anonymous” cops, well-buried inside the slime of the supposed anonymity ensured by their position as expendable executive organs. We exhumed him as an example for every equivalent piece of human garbage, so as to remind them that they’ve made very specific and unforgettable life-choices. Maybe an incendiary gift to their cars or to their houses’ entrance can help them remember that they are on the first line of the war against the revolutionaries and the damned ones, and that this position will possibly have a personal price for them.
Our total solidarity to our comrades K. Athanasopoulou, D. Valavani and G. Michailidis, who are now imprisoned, after a counter-terrorist operation.
Strength for the four comrades who are prosecuted for their participation to the supposed organization “Comrades”, after a stupidly orchestrated operation intending to terrorize the anarchist movement in total.
Signals of solidarity and strength to our comrade Gabriel Pombo da Silva, to the two comrades arrested for the arson of an ATM in Madrid, to the Park Bench three in Germany, and to all the anarchist, anti-authoritarian and antifascist prisoners in Russia and Italy.
Our thoughts for the imprisoned people who revolt against the state of isolation inside the Italian prisons, after the generalized emergency situation.
Inside our hearts, the flames of the Chilean insurrection are still burning, and we don’t forget neither the fallen ones, nor the imprisoned ones, nor the people who experienced the brutality of the uniformed scum.
And because memory is a weapon on our hands, Lambros Fountas always accompanies our hearts and our struggles. On the 10th of March nobody dies, as the 10th of March gives birth to guerrillas.
Anarchist Groups of Nocturnal Visits
PS: We consider as non-equivalent for this situation to just make a fragmentary mention on the issue of COVID-19. We would just like to simeologically focus on the enforced exercises of social distancing, alienation, self retirement, loneliness, insecurity and fear for the people next to us. Exercises of consolidation of the emergency state, of the metropolitan militarization, of the capitalist restructuring in terms of militarized and battle management on the social field, of the fluid and elastic readjustment of the working relationships via the house-work and the temporary engagements, of the destruction of every collective feeling inside the working spaces or the fields of social reproduction. Exercises of closed mouths end eyes in front of the modern upgraded panoptic control, the thermal cameras or the cameras of immediate biometric analysis, the silent drones, the justification of the mobile tracking. Exercises of insensitivity and apathy in front of the total unfolding of the modern death-politics and the social exclusion of migrants, prisoners, homeless ones, people that practically couldn’t follow the infamous “We stay at home”, because they don’t have a home, or maybe because their “home” is a place where they are invisibly accumulated, with no medical care, as they are not considered as “normal people”, as “citizens”, but as superfluous bodies.
The management of this “health crisis” in terms of war, is just one more point of the social-class war. It’s a straight attack against the exiled from the kingdom of privileges, as there’s no golden cell for them to be stoically enclosed, but precarious and underpaid long hours, savage working hours without the necessary means of hygiene, firings and unemployment, hunting for handouts, high anxiety and insecurity for what’s next. The class truce which we are about to sign, coping with the “invisible enemy threatening the society”, makes even more visible for us where to direct our fire. What we deeply need to communicate with our comrades now, is that -beyond the basic issues of solidarity, mutual aid and self-protection- this conjuncture should find us prepared. Let’s communicate – Let’s talk – Let’s organize – Let’s get ready. So that we can be able to stand on our ground and cope with the coming capitalist crisis and the war against us.

”There are some people for whom there should have been mountains with their names written upon them for all time. Tombstones are not tall enough..”
On March 10, 2010, in Athens the anarchist and member of Revolutionary Struggle, Lambros Fountas falls dead in an armed clash with the uniformed servants of the state, during a preparatory action of the organization.
Lambros Fountas cannot easily be categorized. He has always been THERE. He fell fighting, as a member of R.S., of an organization that came to question the end of the history of urban guerrilla struggle in Greece in a deafening way. Where the broader radical movement fought with all its force so as not to internalize the imposed defeat of the revolutionary struggle by all means. The burial of the revolutionary perspective. In this repression and media delirium, R.S. with its upgraded operational capability and its anarchist-theoretical elaboration raised the bar for revolutionary organizations.
Lambros died with a gun in his hand, just as he lived: standing up, fighting for a human society of equality and solidarity, without state and exploitation. And for that exactly we will remember the life and death of Lambros everywhere on labour protests, strikes, anti-fascist actions, in solidarity structures, in clashes with the state’s lapdogs, in guerrilla actions. At this difficult point in history Lambros will always be with us there where the barrier against the march of capitalist barbarism is built, where the dignity of human resistance is standing high, where a new world is shaping.
Lambros will always be with us in the struggles for the Social Revolution, for Anarchy.
… in the hard times you never abandon the city, in the good times you didn’t gain any interests, in the desperate times you didn’t fear anything…

The new trial against Revolutionary Struggle [Επαναστατικού Αγώνα, ‘Epanastatikòs Agonas’] will continue at the special court in Korydallos Prison (Athens) on Friday, January 10th, 2020, at 9:00AM. This ongoing legal proceeding against the organization and its members is part of the wider series of trials that continue to involve and be directed against the comrades, in particular Pola Roupa and Nikos Maziotis. The charges in this trial relate to a car bomb abandoned and discovered by the police in the summer of 2017, seven months after Pola Roupa’s arrest on January the 5th of the same year. Nikos Maziotis, however, has been in prison since July 16th, 2014. In this trial the comrades are accused of “supplying, possessing and manufacturing explosives”. [The date of the hearing for this new trial was announced on Athens Indymedia here].
Revolutionary Struggle is a revolutionary anarchist organization that – since the night of December 5th, 2003, with a double explosive attack against the 1st degree court in Athens – has carried out countless actions against the state and capital in Greece. The group’s actions and analyses were directed against structures, apparatuses and institutional and repressive representatives of the Greek State (IE: 1st degree court, police stations, riot police, Korydallos prison, ministries of labour and economy, former Minister of Public Order G. Voulgarakis), international capital structures, representatives of Greek and international economic power, multinational companies and structures of other states (IE: Ministry of the Economy, Citibank, Royal Dutch Shell, Eurobank, Athens Stock Exchange, National Bank of Greece, Embassy of the United States of America).

On March 10th, 2010, Revolutionary Struggle was first struck:
Comrade Lambros Foundas fell dead from a cop’s bullet during the expropriation of a vehicle. He fell dead during a time of preparation for Revolutionary Struggle, which constituted the continuation of the organization’s action against the crisis, against capitalism and the state itself, against the policies of the system, which were formed by the European Commission, the European Central Bank and the IMF on the same days. It was an act of opposition to the burdens of borrowing contracts (memoranda) which, two months after his death, were imposed by the supranational economic and political power. It was an action-response to the fascist extortion imposed by the Greek political and economic power: “Memoranda or Destruction.” It was an answer to the dilemma of “salvation of the system or salvation of the social majority.” (more…)

TAKING RESPONSIBILITY FOR THE ARSON ATTACKS IN DAFNI
Cut your strings puppet
We are taking responsibility for the arson attacks at dawn on March 10 at the Mayor’s house and at the Post office in Dafni.
In that area, that same evening seven years before, anarchist Lambros Foundas fell from cop bullets. Seven years on, we don’t forget our dead comrade who gave his life for freedom and dignity.
In times of repression we slip through the ruptured fence that the state rigs up and fills with the debris of fear and repression against any form of action that lurks the streets. At the targets our devices played the symphony of destruction before exploding few meters from the station patrol, the state police pigs at Dafni metro station that oversee the law-abiding life of the city’s marionettes: job, house, cafe, nightlife. Every day the city routine under full control, divided into small occupations.
However, history is written when the silent crowd is abandoned and the refusers of silence act. There where we turn our rage into fire and feed our fire with gasoline. We are the ones that don’t fit into your world. Let your sweat pour to protect it with a smile until comes its destruction.
We don’t forget, we don’t forgive LONG LIVE LAMBROS FOUNDAS
10th MARCH GIVES BIRTH TO GUERRILLAS
Solidarity to the evicted squats and occupied spaces and to the comrades arrested during the state’s last repressive operation. 10, 100, 1000s of squats against a world of organized rot.

Lambros Foundas lives through our flames
Responsibility claim for the attacks on the houses of cops Efthimis Efthimiadis and Ilias Hajis.
On March 10th 2010, anarchist and member of Revolutionary Struggle Lambros Foundas is executed in Dafni during the expropriation of a vehicle that was going to be used in an act of revolutionary violence of the organization.
The arson of the residences of cops Efthimis Efthimiadis on 20 Kiprou street in Agios Pavlos, and Ilias Hajis on 17 Papanastasiou street in Sikies, Thessaloniki in the early hours of March 9th, is our minimal homage to the memory of a comrade who was killed by the shots of the metropolitan occupation army of democracy, fighting for the Revolution.
Dead fighters are the reason and cause of the continuation of our revolutionary struggle. (more…)

A few nights ago we sabotaged about 50 parking meters by gluing their locks, coin slots, and card readers. This was a simple act which took no specialized skill. Get some superglue, cover your face, keep your eyes peeled for cops or loyal citizens, and act.
These parking meters were targeted because they fund the Bloomington Police Department and because they force people to pay to be downtown. We hate the police and we hate gentrification and class society, so we chose to attack them.
We act as a gesture of combative memory for Lambros Foundas, anarchist of Revolutionary Struggle killed by the forces of the Greek state on March 10, 2010. Our memory is not one of passive mourning or martyrdom, but of active struggle against the state, capital, and domination in all of its forms. The flame of Lambros’ life kept us warm as we walked through the winter night, and we will carry that flame with us in all parts of our lives, which are lived at war with this society of masters and slaves.
We send strength to all anarchist combatants held captive in the dungeons of the Greek state.
We send solidarity to all those facing the state’s latest attacks against squatters, anarchists, and refugees: we are inspired by your refusal to be paralyzed.
Long live anarchy
Thursday, March 16th, 2017
March is a month that is particularly full of milestones that invite us with special strength to take to the streets and spread the anarchic agitation, with memory and solidarity as insurrectionist tools of action.
Among these milestones is the so-called ‘Women’s Day’ (March 8), a day that like other commemorations has been assimilated by reformism and the market, offering us the possibility to spread anti-patriarchal ideas and link them with anti-state and anti-authoritarian critiques, marking our differences with social-democratic, leftist and / or authoritarian feminism.
Another important event that occurred in March was the ‘Pampa Irigoin massacre’ (also known as the Puerto Montt massacre), which occured on March 9, 1969 under the government of Eduardo Frei Montalva. By order of the Minister of the Interior, Edmundo Pérez Zujovic, police agents murdered nine villagers who had illegally occupied a plot of land to live with their families outside the city. As revenge for what happened, Pérez Zujovic was assassinated in June 1971 by members of the armed left-wing group Organized Vanguard of the People (VOP).
Also this month, March 10 marks the sixth anniversary of the murder of comrade Lambros Foundas who was shot dead in Greece during a shoot-out with police after attempting to steal a car. Lambros was a member of the anarchist guerrilla organization Revolutionary Struggle, and as his comrades stated later, the theft of the vehicle was part of a planned operation. (more…)

Athens: Bomb left outside Dafni police precinct in memory of Revolutionary Struggle member Lambros Foundas (Greece)
Tuesday, February 28th, 2017
25.02.17: According to the corporate Greek media police bomb disposal experts defused an explosive device comprising of a hand grenade on Saturday after an anonymous caller telephoned a threat that the bomb would detonate outside the police precinct in Dafni, southern Athens.
The bomb was found in a bag that had been placed in a small park behind the police precinct.
The bomb is said to have had an unusual composition: a hand grenade, a timer, a detonator, a battery and an undisclosed amount of explosives. It was destroyed in two controlled explosions.
The anonymous caller who phoned the police shortly before 3 a.m. had warned that the bomb would go off in 40 minutes from then. The caller said the attack would be in memory of Lambros Foundas, a member of Revolutionary Struggle who died in a shootout with police in the area in March 2010.
More information as it becomes available.

Some Questions and Answers with N. Maziotis, event at Karditsa self-managed space, June 2016 [excerpts]
Q. How can the anarchist/antiauthoritarian space change from being reactive into a real revolutionary movement? In your opinion, what political characteristics should it have, and what kind of organization and aims?
A: It is a question of political positions. Anarchy, or Libertarian or antiauthoritarian communism is a social proposal and organization. The condition to create a truly revolutionary anarchist movement is the existence of political positions and proposals in order to make clear to the people, the masses and workers, what we believe and what aims we have as anarchists. This means that we must take positions on the burning problems and issues of our time that are the result of the capitalist crisis- such as debt, memoranda, the dilemma of staying in or leaving the European Union, and to make clear what is our goal as anarchists, which is none other than the overthrow and destruction of capital and the state and the creation of a stateless, classless society.
These are issues for which the masses of people, the people affected by the crisis and the policies for rescuing the system, have searched and still search answers, yet the anarchist/anti-authoritarian space had nothing different to offer them compared to the proposals of the mainstream parties (besides slogans perhaps). Also beyond the formulation of political positions and proposals it should be clear by whom or in what ways and means our struggle will promote and implement these political positions and proposals- in other words, how we will make Anarchy a reality. Koridallos prisons: Revolutionary Struggle member Nikos Maziotis on the escape attempt and life sentence (Greece)
Thursday, March 24th, 2016
Text of Nikos Maziotis about the operation of escape from Koridallos prison and the sentence of life imprisonment handed down in the 2nd Revolutionary Struggle trial
The attempt to escape from Koridallos prison by helicopter on February 21st 2016 – an operation carried out by comrade Pola Roupa, member of Revolutionary Struggle – was a revolutionary act, a guerrilla action for the liberation of political prisoners. It was a means of continuation of Revolutionary Struggle’s activity, a response to the State’s repressive operations against our organisation and other political prisoners, comrades who are in prison for armed activity as well. It was therefore an exemplary solidarity act of great and unique importance. The prison escape operation was a step towards continuing armed revolutionary activity; promoting the struggle for the overthrow of the State and Capital; overturning the establishment’s policy of bailout programs imposed by the troika of the country’s supranational bosses, the EC, ECB and IMF, to which the ESM has been added with the enactment and implementation of the third memorandum program by the SYRIZA-led government. Armed struggle in the present circumstances is more timely and necessary than ever. The failure of this operation won’t bend us. We will struggle as long as we live and breathe. (more…)
Athens: Responsibility claim for incendiary attack against Hellenic Post branch in Nea Smyrni by ‘Incendiary Disobedience Cell’ (Greece)
Monday, March 21st, 2016
“Who will shatter the rock that for millennia has sat upon individual autonomy? For so long now learning to live has meant learning to die.”
How many years of commercial society? How many more of “civilised” existence? And all this for what? We take part in the most paranoid experiment of human domination. From the early stages of domestication up to economy’s invasion into life, oppression, exploitation and coercion have been the most structural components of society. The Power’s structures and logics have strived to ensure their presence over the centuries, transformed themselves, gained flexibility by stepping on human relations and finally imposed their universality through the commercialisation of existence. Non-compliance margins have narrowed. The ways of vomiting “needless waste” are being humanised. The sometimes aggressive and sometimes passive indifference of the capitalist world towards the sustainability of human or nonhuman beings, that are deemed unnecessary in various ways, is discernible at a glance, not very far away. How many bodies stacked dead or alive in seas or the coldness of gray rooms?
There are no excuses in the face of the existent; everyone sees, everyone knows. The expression of our position towards this situation takes shape through anarchist action. We’ll avoid distant and hypothetical analysis. We know that (not only in our own lives) the moments of freedom are so assimilable into the repeated everyday routine that we are unable to imagine any possible turn of events. The only sure thing is that we feel this world to be unbearably hooked in our skin, and the more we attack it, the less it leaves its marks on us.
While some were sleeping exhausted and dazzled by a three-day weekend of frenzied consumption and entertainment, some chose to swing into action. In the early hours of Tuesday March 15th 2016, we torched and destroyed a van and an ATM of the Hellenic Post (ELTA) branch in the district of Nea Smyrni, Athens. Because of the fire’s extent, the branch acquired a new facade as well.
Also this is a minimum act of complicity with incarcerated comrades that have recently faced or are once again facing the halls of judges and prosecutors. Strength to Mónica Caballero and Francisco Solar, the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire, Revolutionary Struggle, as well as all imprisoned anarchists around the world, and everyone who in any way contribute to the intensification of anarchist war against Power.
PS. And because memory is integral to the continuation of anarchist struggle we cannot but recall the death of comrade Lambros Foundas, on March 10th 2010, after an armed clash with cops.
Incendiary Disobedience Cell
Hunger Strike: Vehicles owned by ISS and Vodafone companies torched by FAI-IRF / Fire and Fury (Greece)
Friday, March 20th, 2015
Inter Arma received and translated:
“The State terrorizes,
It slings mud, it fools, it besots, it pretends
Its omnipotence is now a myth
Our rage, it makes us stronger, its alienation doesn’t touch us
The store windows of authority are smashed by us with stones
The chains of obedience are melted by us with the rebellious flame that burns inside every oppressed one
Our eyes are open
Our ears capture every sound
Our thinking is crystal
Our fury is unthinkable
Our choice is one: Violent, uncontrollable and constant struggle against state and authority
We are angry, we are rebellious,
WE ARE YOUR WORST NIGHTMARES”
After the disclosure of the escape plan of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire from Korydallos prison, for which its members have claimed full responsibility, the counter-terrorism agency, exposed by the complete plan prepared by the imprisoned comrades, unleashed, with the full cooperation of the known snitches of the mass media of deception, a wild pogrom of arrests of their relatives and friends which resulted in the detention of the mother of Gerasimos and Christos Tsakalos and of the girlfriend of the first one, on charges of participation in a terrorist organization. The targeting of relatives and friends of imprisoned anarchists by the slimy judges and the motherfuckers of the counter-terrorism agency is not something new, as we have seen it repeatedly in the past, in cases such as the wife of Dimitris Koufodinas who was imprisoned in the underground isolation cells of Korydallos prison for participation in N17 [November 17, armed group] and the wife of Kostas Gournas, member of Revolutionary Struggle, who was put on trial for the case.
In this [present] case, the ridiculous accusations attributed to relatives of the Conspiracy, signed by the vile Nikopoulos and Asprogerakas (at the same time the latter one signed the prison releases of the members of the [neo-nazi party] Golden Dawn), display the vengeful fury of the repressive authorities against the unyielding and proud attitude of the imprisoned comrades, putting before them the emotional blackmail of the imprisonment of their loved ones. The comrades and anarchist Angeliki Spyropoulou in response to the vindictive detention of their relatives, are since March 2 on hunger strike until death demanding their immediate release. On the same day Maziotis, Koufodinas and Gournas and anarchist prisoners participating in NFP [Network of Fighting Prisoners] started a hunger strike against the counter-terrorism legislation, Type C prisons and demand the immediate release of Savvas Xiros [injured-disabled imprisoned member of N17]. Apart from the different starting points and theoretical perceptions we may have, we believe that the demands for which the anarchists hunger strikers struggle, concern everyone, so we support their struggle.
Through our action we want to send our strength and incendiary solidarity to the imprisoned brothers of the Conspiracy and to Aggeliki Spyropoulou. Brothers and sisters stay strong, our time will come. On March 5 we torched a vehicle in Messologiou street in Dafni owned by ISS company, which among others provides security services and has also undertaken the cleaning of the sterile spaces of mechanized movement of the Subway, and on March 14 we delivered a truck owned by VODAFONE company in Theocritus Street, in Nea Smyrni to the fire.
“Society is the mirror of the absurd part where I am locked up: a prison made by insuperable walls and invisible cells”
Social control is one of the main consolidation strategies of domination. Its practical applications respond to the historical circumstances that it has to face and they ensure their formal justification for “security reasons”. The feeling of security is referred to as a social good, the common good, ceases to exist as a fundamental achievement of the social structure when it is challenged, when it cracks and the stake of social peace becomes fragile. The destabilization of the social fabric is expressed in the practical challenge, declared by the aggressive actions and the internal hostilities of the anarchist war which develop their own potential, expressing a direct threat to all kinds of authority. Their present and their diffusion are State policy priorities which are articulated basically on two main axes: ‘risk prevention efforts’ and an indefinite extension of the concept of the ‘suspect’.
These two elements are the components of the modern repressive paradigm expressed significantly through the consolidation of a panopticon-like control system. Movements, behaviors, relationships, communication become an observation field from which the mechanisms of authority try to predict by mining information. The security cameras in every corner of the metropolis, targeted searches and area patrols by private security companies and the monitoring of telephone communications are indicative practices of a control policy displayed with the refined image of modernization. The interference in our private moments that aims at extracting and processing information in order to form a more complete profile about an individual, happens through technological progress and its practical applications which especially in recent years seems to grow and target towards that direction specifically. The repressive paradigm is the safety of authority. That’s all it ever was and that’s what it will continue to be.
“Today that the world is rotting and dishonesty and compromise humiliate even the bravest souls, only one tactic is practical and beneficial. To be unflinching.”
Starting from the conclusion that the state and society are inherent elements of this aged civilization, no matter the face and facet they are presented through, being an enemy of individual freedom, we, from our side, welcome to the political foreground the leftist-statists of SYRIZA and the nationalists of ANEL promising to disturb their social peace in every opportunity and with all our strength.
As every herd need its shepherd, so does the majority, which sealed in the elections the perpetuation of its slavery, needs its savior. This time it chose to wait under the governmental table of SYRIZA’s vendors of hope hoping to grab a pittance, waiting the social and economical advancement their Alexis had promised them before the elections. Promises given by SYRIZA were particularly attractive and alleviative for the masses, severely in the regard of the latest period of harsh state politics of the previous governments. Politics implemented by the capitalist states, regardless of ideological differences and colors, aims at the conservation of social peace and that’s why they make sure the resentment and indignation of the masses are absorbed at the source. The digestible left rhetoric and its promises for moderation seemed to have convinced not only the chameleon voters but also a part of the anarchist milieu which rushed to support it, notarizing its flirt with the Left regime. Reality, however, confirms that hopes remain illusions. Humanitarian, reformist or refined authority means nothing more than the assignment of our lives’ administration to others.
The same time that the mob celebrates along with SYRIZA for the so-called victories in the European negotiations, the same time the internal judgments in police [performance] take place while simultaneously a huge terror-show is being organized with invasions into anarchists’ houses, abductions and arrests of people followed by the relevant TV cannibalism, presenting them as products for consumption in favor of society’s TV tastes. It’d be best for the leadership and hangers on of the Ministries of Justice and Public Order to realize that we are not going to stay and watch our comrades and anarchist prisoners being derided. As long as authority exists there will always be rebellious individualities embodying the internal enemy.
“The most important thing, however, is to juxtapose ourselves against society. A behavior that will indicate that we are not going to surrender to society, nor centralize our activities around it, but that we will live by our own terms.”
We call every rebellious individuality, every anarchist of praxis to increase and escalate our attacks in solidarity with the hunger strikers.
