WOS note: Beyond this initial announcement from Bengalas’ comrades which appears below, there are several more texts and updates about the comrade which we will translate soon. At the moment, we are too busy to present all of it. The additional texts and updates may appear as edits to this post, or separately. We send an embrace full of fire and health to Bengalas.
Yesterday, March 30, in the afternoon, our brother was in a cyber cafe updating our page [Solidaridad Anarquista] and on finishing up, he left the cyber cafe and to someone appeared to steal an older woman’s wallet and the police came in pursuit; since these uniforms are such sacks of shit that they’re tired after running only 15 seconds, they chose to use their service weapon and a shot struck; it so happened that this bullet hit the Anarchist brother Bengalas’ chest, at only 9 meters away, the bullet entered through the chest, exiting through his back; our brother did not have time to react and fell to his knees leaving a large pool of blood around him; thanks to some anonymous persons who were in the area, they stopped the hemorrhaging and applied first aid, calling an ambulance and stopping the uniforms from approaching the brother’s body so that they could not take any evidence nor change anything in the area; the compañero was taken to the Viña del Mar Hospital and at this time has still not regained consciousness. Translated from informa-azione.info
We receive from the Pistoia anarchist comrades:
Last Thursday [29 March] the bloody Florence cops assaulted and arrested three comrades, Nicola, Filomena and Sandro and accused them of a series of bullshit such as resistance and causing bodily harm. This morning [Saturday 30th March] the judge decided to make a favour to the Florence Digos [Italian political police]: as he obviously couldn’t keep the comrades imprisoned, he opted for house arrest in the comrades’ towns, two in Pontassieve and one in Pistoia. It is clear how this operation aims at eliminating all ‘elements of disturbance’, that is to say those who are active in the city. As power can’t (for the moment) do whatever they like with Anarchists, they try their best to silence them, in this case through house arrest. On the contrary they did do whatever they liked with some immigrants, who were beaten to death in the police headquarters of Florence [the comrades were arrested while distributing leaflets on this event].
Solidarity with the comrades hit by repression, fire to all prisons and death to the authorities!

Comrades in Indonesia sent this report:
Protests in Makassar (26/12) with an issue about police brutality that killed residents in Bima, had turned into a mass rampage. In the protests that followed more than 300 people, they attacking police post at Sudiman street, by throwing stones and other hard objects.
The action was called by Forum Rakyat Menggugat (Forgat) starting from 11 o’clock to roll out free speech in front of the Mandala Monument for over three hours. Various representatives from every organizations spoke and read their statements.
The masses moved north toward Karebosi. Right at the intersection, the masses started throwing objects at the police post spontaneously. They also throwing at BNI bank right next to the police station.
The masses moved back to the east of town, past the Mesjid Raya Road to go to the next action point namely Flyover kilometers 4. The masses throwing things at other Police stations in that location.
The destruction targets are generally of police facilities and the capitalism symbols such as banks, and the political symbol such as political billboards. Protesters claimed that what happened in Bima and elsewhere is caused by the greed of capitalism to exploit the environment which then threaten people’s lives.
Sadly, our comrade, Yayat (Unhas student), was arrested by police. The police didn’t release him until now.

As part of the campaign for solidarity with the freedom struggle in Indonesia, we print this report from a comrade there:
On 24 December 2011, the tragedy happens in Bima, West Nusa Tenggara, Indonesia. Four people (media local said) died (eight now confirmed dead – killed by police during the resistance). It began when thousands of people including farmers blockaded the harbour of Sape in Bima. They protest to the government which had given permission to PT SMN to mine gold in the area of the area about 24.980 hectares. The people there are worried about the environmental damage. It is because most of the people there work as farmers and fisherman. The presence of the mine will destroy water sources and finally the agricultural ways in the area will be damaged.

On Monday afternoon [19.12.11] a young man riding an Upfield train in peak hour was pushed to extremes in order to attempt to escape the terror and punishment of Metcops and the law.
In his efforts at evading both everyday beat pigs and their Metro lackeys he was left no option but to attempt to get back onto an already moving train on Platform 2 of North Melbourne Station or face fines, embarrassment and the physical and psychological violence that inevitably presents itself every time a person is arrested or detained by the cops. We must recognise that the actions of the cops and Metpigs created this circumstance that put this man’s life in danger.
Unfortunately he was not successful at escape. (more…)
International Association of Chiefs of Police Hacked During 2011 Conference on October 22nd – International Day of Action Against Police Brutality (Global)

Incoming : Hackers who are fighting online in the frame of the international resistance have attacked the International Association of Chiefs of Police and released their data online to mark the International Day of Action Against Police Brutality. Communique follows…
22 October 2011
The IACP thought they could hold their 2011 annual conference in Chicago unfettered by the clutches of insurrection. They must not have known their conference starts on the Day of Action Against Police Brutality. They must not have known that all over the world people are in the streets demonstrating discontent with capitalism and the state. They also had no idea that for the past few months black hat hackers have been owning their websites and databases. They should have expected us.
In solidarity with the Occupation Movement and the International Day of Action Against Police Brutality, allied #anonymous and #antisec vessels took aim at the corrupt bootboys of the 1%: the police. We hacked, defaced, and destroyed several law enforcement targets, leaking over 600MB of private information including internal documents, membership rosters, addresses, passwords, social security numbers, and other confidential data. According to the IACP’s development documents, their systems cost several hundred thousand dollars. We are pleased to destroy it all for free, leaking their private info and defacing their websites in one swift blow.
We attacked MatrixGroup.net, a multi-million dollar Washington DC based web development firm, which serves over a hundred government, corporate and association websites. Many lulz have been had as we owned their white hat “professional” intranet, clients and employee wiki portals– accessing records and passwords, internal communications, company schedules, and development notes for over a hundred clients. We intentionally excluded the unions and other unrelated sites on their servers because, unlike the police and those who support them, we will never betray our working class comrades. We realize our role in the social struggle against capital and against the state, deciding instead to set our sights on the police, military and other government websites hosted by Matrix.
Our lulzboats also took aim at Boston Police in retaliation for the unprovoked mass arrests and brutality experienced by those at Occupy Boston. We hacked the Boston Police Patrolmens’ Association (www.bppa.org), releasing full names and the cleartext, user-supplied passwords for a thousand members. Many lulz have been had while perusing their emails and facebook accounts, and we are now sharing their passwords for others so they can join in on the mayhem as well. Let this be a warning to BPD and police everywhere: future acts of aggression against our movements will be met with a vengeance so epic and relentless that your children’s children will puke at the sight of swine.
After exhausting both sides of Milli Vanillis’ “Girl You Know It’s True” tape, we also decided to attack Alabama law enforcement systems, releasing the names, addresses, and social security numbers for 1000 Birmingham / Jefferson County police officers as well as defacing and destroying the website SherrifOfBaldwin.com. We are attacking Birmingham specifically because of their notorious racial discriminatory practices including the savage beatings and mass arrests endured by civil rights protesters during the 60s. Although we had records of inmates, active warrant names, addresses, charges and social security numbers the thought of releasing them never crossed our mind because we would never betray our brothers and sisters shackled and chained behind prison walls– our targets are the ones who beat and murder with immunity, the cowardly carcases and lifeless hosts of power who hide behind a badge.
We are also acting in solidarity with the dozens of alleged “Anonymous” members around the world facing charges for “hacking,” including the Paypal LOIC defendants in San Jose, Commander X, Recursion, Topiary, Stephen Watt, and more. We are acting in solidarity with the thousands of prisoners in California on Hunger Strike fighting for better living conditions and an end to prolonged solitary confinement. We also call for the IMMEDIATE RELEASE of not only political prisoners(Leonard Peltier, Mumia Abu Jamal, the MOVE 9, the Angola 3, and more) but all prisoners everywhere including all Jon Burge torture survivors still behind bars.
We are attacking the police because they are the vicious boot boys of the 1% whose role in society is to protect the interests and assets of the rich ruling class. They are not part of the 99%– they are working class traitors who are paid to intimidate, harass, and repress political movements that would possibly stand a threat to the power structure of the 1%. We have no problem targeting police and releasing their information even if it puts them at risk because we want them to experience just a taste of the brutality and misery they serve us on an everyday basis. We hope those working for the police who have any humanity left refuse their orders and leak the police and their commanding officer’s vital secrets and dirt. We must realize that police are no allies of ours and have violently attacked our movements all across the world throughout history.
In Chicago, where the International Association of Chiefs of Police conference is taking place, the CPD has a particularly bloody and ruthless history of brutality and repression of political movements. Throughout the 70s and 80s under Jon Burge (chief detective) and former Mayor Richard M. Daley (prosecuter at the time), dozens of CPD detectives many whom are still on the force tortured hundreds of innocent black men, forcing confessions and giving out decades-long prison sentences for crimes never committed. The CPD also operates notorious “red squad” COINTELPRO operations that attempts to discredit and disrupt revolutionary groups– including the assassination of Black Panther Party leaders Fred Hampton and Mark Clark. This repression continues today as they beat and arrested over 900 protesters when the second War in Iraq broke out, and just over a year ago dozens of protest organizers were raided by the FBI for alleged affiliation with resistance movements. The CPD just announced a new ‘counter-terrorism’ operation (taking tips from the NYPD playbook) likely to target protest organizers for the upcoming G8 and NATO conferences in May. Although they try to intimidate us by training over 13,000 riot police for these protests, we believe that they are the truly the frightened ones, and perhaps for good reason: the high profile hacks will continue, and the protests against the 1% are growing every day.
We are 99%. We are the working class that makes society function. We are not intimidated by the States attempts to disrupt our resistance through unprovoked arrests and harassments. As the violence of the cops, the courts, the FBI, La Migra, and Homeland Security intensifies, so must our resistance: we will continue to bring the ruckus on the streets and on the internet. We are believers and practitioners of direct action against all governments, militaries, banks, corporations, and police working towards our revolutionary goal: the immediate dissolution of capitalism and the state.
Hackers, join us to make 2011 the year of leaks and revolutions!

Follow-up arrest in Moscow after initial detentions of suspected insurrectionary anarchists.
An activist who was organizing a fund-raising event for financial help to arrestees, was brutally detained and subjected to tortures on October the 7th.
Police authorities held him hostage for 1 night (he was repeatedly subjected to beating ups and torture). It appears that pigs were keen on learning more about anarchist infrastructure, namely, Anarchist Black Cross (ABC) and its role in the support of anarchist prisoners.
Lots of questions were asked about recent arrests and connections with arrestees, various autonomous groups and anarchist attacks.

In the video above, Darcus Howe, writer and broadcaster, names the 2011 UK riots an ‘insurrection of the masses of the people’ on the BBC. In this important turn in the discourse on the 2011 riots, Darcus Howe also links these events with those in Port of Spain Trinidad, Syria and other parts of the world. As shown in the link below he refers to the violence as the ‘nature of the historical moment’. Darcus Howe, as part of the Mangrove Nine, was acquitted decades ago of trumped up, racially motivated charges of “rioting”. The BBC will not repeat this video. (more…)

Subject: AGAINST VIOLENCE! AGAINST AUTHORITY!
MAY 21 an action against police violence occur in Makati City with the participation of some autonomous individuals who drop a banner in Mantrade fly-over stating HUSTISYA PARA KAY CHRISTIAN SERRANO NA PINATAY NG PULIS “TUTULAN ANG KARAHASAN” (JUSTICE FOR CHRISTIAN SERRANO WHO WAS MURDERED BY COPS “DISSENT VIOLENCE”) and after hand-outs leaflets to all by passers.
MAY 23 2pm we went to the preliminary hearing of the accused police of murder in Makati City Justice Hall to give a support with the victims family. We can’t go inside to the justice hall because it is so full of people so we wait outside and post our banner.
This action is a support and also our way to show sympathy for the family of Christian Serrano 13 yrs.old a scavenger who was killed by cops, who falsely thought that the young boy was a thief; he is also one of a thousand victims of unstoppable police violence in this country.
We fearlessly condemned this act of unjustifiable killings of police and we will pursue this campaign against police oppression and violence until the people realized that police authorities are not the one protecting the ‘human rights’.

Two years ago, FIT cops Steve Discombe, Alan Palfrey and Ryan Cowlin stood only feet away from Ian Tomlinson when he was hit by PC Harwood, a blow which led to Tomlinson’s death. But, according to an IPCC (Independent Police Complaints Commission) report out today, they claim to have seen very little of the attack and didn’t even bother to include it in a written report. In fact they appear to have done everything they could to prevent the truth becoming known. (more…)

Wednesday, January 26th, 2011. Athens, Greece
This morning in Athens, an American anarchist has pressed attempted murder charges against Delta and Dias motorcycle police, as well as the relevant commanding officers, for a beating she suffered at the intersection of Patision and Stounari streets while demonstrating against the International Monetary Fund (IMF) on November 15th, 2010. Meanwhile, over 170 members of the American and European scholarly community, including Noam Chomsky, Judith Butler, and Immanuel Wallerstein, have denounced the behavior of the Delta police towards demonstrations and specifically the beating of the American demonstrator, calling the attack on her “nearly fatal”. A policeman of the “DIAS” motorcycle police ran over a 6-year old Roma girl in the area of Menidi in NE Athens. According to eye-witnesses, the six-year old girl was run over as she was on the streets, where she was signing the carols with other children (in Greece, children sing carols on the eve of the Epiphany day, Jan 6). The eye-witnesses also claim the policeman dragged the girl along for 150 meters and did not stop to offer any help.
The policeman who killed the girl is at the nearby police station of Nea Ionia, yet his status is yet unclear. Around 100 people gathered at the spot of the assassination and attacked the riot police once the news of the girl’s death broke out.

Ferrara, Italy. On the nth beating by the cops
On February 24 2010 four immigrant kids are arrested in the centre of Ferrara [northern Italy] and taken to the carabinieri (paramilitary police) station of Via Del Campo. There the cops attack the kids furiously: it looks like the usual story of police brutality hidden behind the walls of a prison, the darkness of a neighbourhood in the night or, as in this case, the conspiracy of silence in a police station.
