Late 14th and early 15th of October 2013, five comrades were arrested and imprisoned in Skövde, Sweden, suspected for over twenty different attacks on furfarmers and the fur industry as well as liberations of minks. Three of the comrades were later considered to be main suspects and the two others were released, however still being suspects. Close upon the trial startup end of January, yet another person was detained for involvement in some of the suspected attacks but this person was also released, still being a suspect.
During their interrogations the three main suspects kept their mouths shut, besides one comrade who took the responsibility for a suspected arson against a garage belonging to a fur farmer.
Seeing the media potential, the disgusting ex-minister of justice Thomas Bodström, nowadays a populistic lawyer, took it on himself to represent all the fur farmers in the court process. (more…)

DSEi is the largest arms fair in the world, held at the Excel centre in Docklands, London. 325 usually does not print UK social activist news, such as legal challenges to the status quo. However, due to the NATO conference in Wales this year, and the diversity of tactics guildline, we have decided to print selected news relating to anti-arms trade and anti-militarism topics for the duration, or until we see fit to cease. We respect the aim of the DSEi arrestees who “see this litigation as part of a wider strategy to discredit, and then shut down DSEi for good”.
We need your help to put the arms dealers on trial. We are a group of women seeking to privately prosecute the arms dealers who sold illegal torture weapons at DSEi arms fair last year. Court updates about Debbie’s trial at Winchester Crown Court over the past five weeks (so far).
Wednesday, 12th February 2014: Debbie’s trial begins at Winchester Crown Court and is expected to last about 4 weeks. Due to prosecution’s failure to disclose information and late service of evidence, the trial was adjourned until Monday 17th February.
Monday, 17th February 2014: Debbie’s trial reconvened at Winchester Crown Court. In an interesting development, the defence revealed that the ‘Novartis executive’ who campaigners previously dealt with, was in fact an undercover policeman, working under the alias ‘James Adams’. The prosecution were pushing for another adjournment, but the defence put forward their argument for the trial to continue as planned even though there was a chance of an unfair trial. The judge heard from both sides and called for time to deliberate, with court adjourned until 10.30am tomorrow.

Sentenced to 10 Years in Prison, Anarchist Hacker Jeremy Hammond Uses Allocution to Give Consequential Statement Highlighting Global Criminal Exploits by FBI Handlers.
Good morning. Thank you for this opportunity. My name is Jeremy Hammond and I’m here to be sentenced for hacking activities carried out during my involvement with Anonymous. I have been locked up at MCC for the past 20 months and have had a lot of time to think about how I would explain my actions.
Before I begin, I want to take a moment to recognize the work of the people who have supported me. I want to thank all the lawyers and others who worked on my case: Elizabeth Fink, Susan Kellman, Sarah Kunstler, Emily Kunstler, Margaret Kunstler, and Grainne O’Neill. I also want to thank the National Lawyers Guild, the Jeremy Hammond Defense Committee and Support Network, Free Anons, the Anonymous Solidarity Network, Anarchist Black Cross, and all others who have helped me by writing a letter of support, sending me letters, attending my court dates, and spreading the word about my case.
I also want to shout out my brothers and sisters behind bars and those who are still out there fighting the power. (more…)

Two years have passed since the latest incident in a nuclear power plant, that of Fukushima: a never before established and incalculable number of deaths, wounded and people contaminated by radioactivity; damages of huge proportions that the Japanese techno-scientific community, government and press awkwardly try to conceal, and last but not least the tragic farce of the Olympic Games in Japan, with which propaganda is glorifying a devastated, deadly and broken territory.
In Italy, an unknown number of radioactive waste sites oozing death are scattered in the countryside of Saluggia and Trino Vercellese close to the Po basin, the heritage of the last nuclear power plant that operated in the Piedmont region.
A regular passage of trains loaded with nuclear waste destined to re-processing (i.e. re-use) goes on between North Europe, Italy, the Susa Valley and France.
An industrial giant, Finmeccanica, specializes in various sectors including nuclear power for civil use (maintenance of existing nuclear plants and construction of new ones), arms production and trade, and control systems (mainly concentrated on the new borders of expansion such as nuclear plants in Romania, arms trafficking with India, etc), also represents a typical example of racketeering, corruption and exploitation ingrained in all expressions of dominion and capital.
A planner of nuclear plants, a champion of the dramatically false and faulty sustainability of the civil use of nuclear power, who is a manager belonging to Ansaldo Nucleare of Finmeccanica- Roberto Adinolfi- was wounded by a gunshot outside his house on May 7 2012, in an action claimed by the Olga nucleus of the Informal Anarchist Federation.
We greet with joy and anger anyone who opposes the devastation perpetrated by dominion, and with their heads held high they continue to claim the validity and force of real practices of struggle and critique.

This session was interrupted again because of the hunger strike of one of the accused comrades who are not related to the CCF.
This session began with tension. The court often arranges sessions on the days the comrades of the CCF having visiting hours in prison. The result was the trial delayed to start, since the members of the Conspiracy have clarified that they will not interrupt their visiting hours in order to appear in court. In retaliation, the judges called the prison sergeant, in order to pressure the comrades to be in court “on time”. As soon as the members of the CCF were informed of that, they verbally attacked the judges stressing that “blackmail will not pass”, accompanying their statement with a torrent of swearing towards the chairman of the court. The judges receded on the matter of visiting hours and the trial was postponed again.
The interruption continued because of the hunger strike.
The trial continued after the decision of the appeals council to release the accused comrade on hunger strike. The prosecutor in one of his statements, referred to the political content of the CCF communiques concerning the attacks against embassies with parcel bombs. Because however there was a confusion concerning the separation of political and penal responsibility, a comrade of the CCF intervened immediately, stating that the comrades of the CCF support every word and every action of the Conspiracy, without dividing the political from the penal.
The trial continued this time with the anti-terrorist force constantly adding new documents for attacks of the Conspiracy that took place three years ago.
In this session appeared employees of courier companies as prosecution witnesses. Specifically one prosecution witness who worked at a courier company and opened the parcel bomb (because of the police curiosity of the employees), appeared very stressed (the courier company she worked at was attacked with a bomb by FAI a few months ago, as reprisals for its snitching). She testified that she was pressured by the cops since she could not remember many things and the cops helped in the testimony by writing a part themselves.
None of the prosecution witnesses which were called appeared. The court announced the new session dates, the chairwoman mentioned that because she had booked tickets for her vacation, she wants to interrupt the trial for three weeks. At that point intervened two comrades of the CCF who amidst the swearing towards the judges, mentioned the vengeful transfers carried out against them with the excuse of interrupting the trial resulting in their spreading to various prisons of Greece.
Two prosecution witnesses appeared, of which only one testified, while the other will testify in a future session. The witness that testified, mentioned the shoot out between a comrade of the CCF and cops. She characteristically mentioned that the bullets were raining and when she arrived, she saw the two cops injured on the ground and the comrade holding the leg that was shot. As she testified, what made an impression to her was the calmness and seriousness of the comrade who was not speaking or screaming compared to the two cops who as she said were “whining”. The reference and description of the incidents caused laughter to the comrades of the CCF and embarrassment to the cops.
This session was short since a witness came which was the courier who delivered the parcel-bomb to the Bulgarian embassy. He did not mention anything else and the court was adjourned for August 27th.

In August 2008, Thessaloniki anarchists Vangelis Chrysochoidis and Polykarpos Georgiadis were arrested alongside infamous bank robber—and “the most wanted man in Greece” —Vassilis Palaiocostas. The authorities charged them and others with the kidnapping of powerful industrialist Giorgos Mylonas, which took place that summer and ended with Mylonas’ “release” in exchange for a ransom of 5 million euros. Georgiadis has written a number of open letters (here, here, and here), but Chrysochoidis hasn’t because—like Simos Seisidis, for example—he has no interest in doing so and doesn’t really consider himself a “man of letters.”
The trial for the kidnapping began on February 2, 2010 and ended with sentences of 22 years and 3 months in prison for both Chrysochoidis and Georgiadis, which sentences took into account a number of robberies they were also charged with. A brief summary of the trial can be read (in Spanish) here, while Palaiocostas’ open letter in support of the two comrades is here.
Chrysochoidis statement to the court has already been translated into English here, but Georgiadis’ statement hasn’t yet appeared anywhere in English. More recently, the comrades’ appeal hearing (summaries of which can be read here and here, ran from April 24 to May 16, 2012, and ended with each of their sentences being reduced to 12 years and 10 months.
Georgiadis: Even if you think I’m making an apologia, and while the word “apologia” has a specific connotation, I consider my words to be a kind of defense—not just regarding the legal aspect, but also concerning my political identity and political positions, which I believe are playing a decisive role in my situation. That I now find myself in the dock is a function of my political discourse and political positions of approximately the past 15 years of belonging to this milieu. Therefore, I first want to touch on some things that have already been mentioned here by witnesses, the plaintiff, and you. I’ll also comment on two or three other things beyond the legal aspect of the case. (more…)

5th April 2013: 4th trial for the Conspiracy Cells of Fire case.
One more trial for the actions of the CCF began at Koridallos prisons.
Besides the members of the Conspiracy accused in the same case are also Dimitris Politis, Giannis Mihailidis, Giorgos Karagiannidis, Alexandros Mitrousias, Kostas Sakkas and Stella Antoniou (who are also accused in the third trial which is taking place as well) and Kostandina Karakatsani and Panagiotis Masouras.
Theofilos Mavropoulos read a common statement of the now ten members of the CCF, after which all members of the organization left the room.
“As I have stated in a previous court and in older public texts, I have been next to the comrades of the CCF as a solidarian anarchist, without however being a member of the Conspiracy. From the first moment of my arrest after the shoot out with the cops in Pefki, the comrades of the Conspiracy stood next to me like brothers. Inside prison we shared common worries, tensions and forged our steel passion for liberation through our common escape attempt in December 2011. Today for me the CCF is an inseparable piece of my thought, my desires and my personal mutiny for anarchy.
This is why as of today, here in your court, I state that I join the CCF and share together with the imprisoned and non arrested members the endless course to the anarchist insurrection. Participating now in the Conspiracy, I will read a collective statement for this trial. All of us, the members of the CCF, want to clarify some things.
In this trial, besides us who have taken the responsibility for our participation and support of the Conspiracy, all other accused do not have, neither have any relation with the charges attributed to them.
They never were, neither could ever be members of the Conspiracy.
An ocean of disagreements, perceptions and choices divides us…
The CCF and FAI is an international network of anarchists of praxis
who stand against the enemy with the certainty of those who play it all or nothing and refuse the proof of innocence and legal mitigations.
The Conspiracy and the Informal Anarchist Federation through their hundreds of attacks express the black anarchy which sets fire to the silence of the many and cowardice of the reformists.
All the charges in your indictments are a piece of the anarchist history and the armed course of the Conspiracy through the social desert of mass subjugation.
It is our compass in the unmapped unknown of the anarchist insurrection.
It is the unique moment where theory meets practice.
It is there where the law dies and anarchy is born.
It is there where the sounds of the explosions and the gun shots break the calmness of the crowd.
These moments are our moments. These history is our history.
A history which cannot be put on trial, neither finishes inside the court room.
We are the gasoline, the gun powder, the detonator, the bullet, the gun.
The only thing you will get from us is war.
The Conspiracy is, was, itself.
This is our Anarchy”.
G.Mihailidis read a common statement of his and D.Politis and then left the procedure.
“Give us a copy”, asked the chairman, “this statement is not for you”, answered D.Politis, while the cops were cuffing them.
“We state that: We refuse to participate in the procedure of the court, not only because it is a mean of the state to demean and bend the anarchist struggle, not only because its function aims at the respite of anarchist action, but mainly because we do not recognize any institutional representative of the bourgeois democracy to judge people.
As anarchist revolutionaries we stand hostile against the bourgeios justice which sends people to the rot of imprisonment in order to defend the criminal lawful order of capitalism. Also, we support the anarchist revolutionary war in every of its forms.
We are part of the violent and guerilla action and will defend it as an inseparable part of the struggle.”
The trial continued on April 15th.

On September 3 2012, some people were arrested for being in a derelict building under section 144 of the Legal Aid, Sentencing and Punishment of Offenders Act. They are up for pleading not guilty and fighting this stupid new law.
The three defendants are booked in for a two and a half day trial at Brighton Magistrates Court which starts at 10am Monday April 22 2013.
There will be a protest outside court.
The charges originally were squatting (under s144), obstruction (of the police in their lawful duty) and abstraction (ie stealing electricity). The abstraction charge has already been dropped.
