Call for an international mobilization in solidarity with the convicted rioters of Genoa 2001 (Italy)

Monday, June 11th, 2012

From informa-azione.info:

On 13th July the last grade of judgment against 10 comrades, convicted for having participated in the clashes occurred in Genoa in 2001 on the occasion of the G8 summit, will be held.

The comrades were given heavy sentences, ranging from 10 to 15 years, by the Court of Genoa and now their imprisonment may become executive.

Ten people are being used as scapegoat: through them, the State wants to attack the hundreds of thousands of people who took to the streets in those days, and particularly those who contributed to unleash the revolt against the arrogance of the Powerful. We won’t accept the reprisal of the State; condemning these comrades means to attack the whole movement. (more…)

Revolutionary greetings from imprisoned anarchist Marco Camenisch, on the occasion of the event for the Revolutionary Struggle case (Switzerland)

Thursday, June 7th, 2012

From contra-info:

From Switzerland I send my warmest revolutionary salutes to you, comrades, on the occasion of your event-festival on the 7th and 8th of June in Greece!

The themes of your meeting—history, actuality and perspective of the international social revolution—are of crucial importance and more timely than ever, in these times of irreversible crisis of the dominant system.

Never had been the times so ripe and urgent for the realization and organization of the internationalist struggle towards a social-revolutionary perspective as the only solution to the crisis of the dominant system, and for this purpose the construction of an internationalist revolutionized solidarity is indispensable; these are more than obvious and shareable affirmations of yours, Pola and Nikos, and of a multitude of combatant comrades. Athens: Second ‘Halandri case’ Trial – Letter of Athena Tsakalou to the court (Greece)

Friday, May 4th, 2012

From Contra-Info:

On April 20th, in the special court-martial of Koridallos women’s prisons where one more trial session of the second ‘Halandri case’ took place, Michalis Nikolopoulos read his request for postponement of the trial and then another statement by Christos Tsakalos and Damiano Bolano (both comrades were absent from court due to their hunger strike). Later, the defense attorney Frangiskos Ragousis handed the judges a letter from Athena Tsakalou, the mother of Christos and Gerasimos Tsakalos. She herself was present in the courtroom but she refused to testify. The letter wasn’t read in court, and the presiding judge simply announced that ‘it will be added to the transcript.’ The complete letter is as follows:

TO THE COURT
18-4/2012

‘Every act of rebellion expresses nostalgia for innocence and an appeal to the essence of being.’

[Albert Camus]

I am asking myself: why are parents of the anarchists–revolutionaries of the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire being subpoenaed to trial? Why are they subpoenaing me? Are they doing it in order to ask me if I know something about the organization? To ask me questions about the personal lives of my sons, sketch out their ‘psychological profile,’ or get an opinion on their ‘family life’? Or to ask me if I agree with the actions of my children and, in general, those of the organization? To stand me up in front of this court, supported by that little book, and make me swear to that god you have placed in the service of Power? To make revolutionary anarchists feel uncomfortable while their parents are asked a bunch of awkward questions? Or is it so that you yourselves can rejoice at the thought that you have made us believe it is we who must give the answers and make an apologia? (more…)

Athens: Statement from Michalis Nikolopoulos, imprisoned CCF member (Greece)

Wednesday, April 11th, 2012

CCF imprisoned member Michalis Nikolopoulos read the following political statement on the 13th day (Monday, April 2, 2012) of the 2nd ‘Halandri’ Case trial of the Conspiracy Cells of Fire. The statement concerns the attack by the Conspiracy of Cells of Fire against the home of Gerasimos Arsenis. You can also read summaries of the Halandri case court reports from TIOJ.

Translated by Actforfreedomnow!/boubourAs:

Gerasimos Arsenis is a recognized officer of authority. In his long political career he has served as minister of Economics, Defence and Education, while he has also run for the leadership of PASOK. In a few words, across from us is a person of power whose decisions contributed to the formation of today’s reality. No one can forget the infamous “Arsenis law” which showed once more, that schools are nothing more than intensive laboratories of serene and trained subjects. (more…)

Letter from the imprisoned members of the CCF on the new prosecutions (Greece)

Thursday, March 29th, 2012

From Actforfreedomnow!boubourAs-Contrainfo-Sysiphus – Respect & Solidarity:

The choice of claiming responsibility and not capitulation

We, as Conspiracy of Cells of Fire – imprisoned members, chose and claimed responsibility from inside the prison for our participation in our project. The responsibility claim is the least way to defend and honour the most beautiful acts that we share. Not as a memory that fades away after our arrests but as a living reality and prospect of carrying on our actions in the continuous present, the here and now.

We believe that the responsibility claim and the words we express through this contribute decisively to the intensification of anarchist action. It is an open offence towards the apologetic low-key stance that the prosecutors and interrogaters wanted to extract from us. This attitude reveals the existence of two different worlds. A world of power on one side and on the other the world of anarchy, which are in perpetual war with each other. (more…)

Sunday, March 4th, 2012

On that day the state prosecutor didn’t show up, but instead another representive of the state, who said that the case cannot be settled that day. So, the defense demanded that Zerman was released on bail, whereupon the state prosecutor wanted this refused.

Zerman is accused of public disorder, damage to a police vehicle and possession of incendiary material. However, the outcome was that Zerman was released under house arrest and the requirement of signing at the nearest police station. The next trial date is scheduled as the first week of April. Third court report of the anarchists Eat & Billy, Long-Live Luciano Tortuga Cell – FAI/IRF (Indonesia)

Wednesday, February 15th, 2012

Rough translation from Negasi:

Reyhard Rumbayan (EAT) and Billy Augustan (Billy) were yesterday (February 14, 2012) back in court for the third time. This agenda together with the second hearing on February 7, 2012, is to hear testimony from witnesses. The Prosecutor said they would present 30 witnesses to prove and convince the judge that the two combatants can be charged with terrorism.

The trial itself is increasingly clear to us as a sad parody of the State. Two witnesses that were presented at the second trial even admitted that their evidence consisted of only seeing Eat and Billy in a cafe before the burning took place. And the two witnesses who are owners of the cafe, in front of the judges, stated that they did not listen to the conversation the night before the attack on the property occurs. (more…)

Monday, February 13th, 2012

Rough translation from Negasi:

The second phase of the trial against the two social combatants, Reyhard Rumbayan (EAT) and Billy Augustan was held on Tuesday, February 7, 2012. Agenda of the session that took place in the State Court of Lahore, Jogjakarta was listening to the testimony from the witnesses. A witness was presented who is burdensome and also devices were exhibited used by the comrades of a second attack.

The trial will carry on tomorrow afternoon, Tuesday, February 14, 2012. The third agenda is still the same as the second trial, which is present as well as listen to the testimony of eyewitnesses.

We again call for solidarity as well as an invitation to everyone to attend tomorrow’s hearing on the day. Indicate the solidarity of two brave men who had attacked the oppressor. Show that we will not leave our brothers alone.

Long live the live action!
Long live the resistance!
